Real Ghostbusters Proton Pack Project

Well I decided to start a new project for my portfolio, and because of that I wanted to chronicle the progress of it. I already created the Trap and PKE Meter, as seen below, so I wanted a Proton Pack to complete the set. Below is my first two hours of work as well as the concept art I am using.

All I can say, man, is that this is why I work with sprites and MMF2. I'd be lost trying to make a ball bounce, let alone render an intricate 3-D weapon with moving parts. Admirable work.

The only flaw I see is at the rear of the sidearm (the piece with the frequency adjuster on its side): the bottom of your CGI model is a sharp, 90-degree angle/coner. In the diagram, it looks like it's either rounded or (more easy to do, I imagine), 'broken' into 2 135-degree corners.

Still, I dunno if you're concerned with such minute details. But considering how good the PKE Meter and the Ghost Trap look, I figured I might as well point it out. Just so I could say something aside from the done-to-death "Good work." sorta response.

You got anything else to show off? This stuff really surprasses the room and the female figure you made last year. You should be proud.

Thank you so much for the catch Blade on the beveled edge. I didn't even notice it! I guess that is what I get for being away from 3Ds Max for several months, this is kind of my "Come Back" project. Anyway the gun is finished, the screws are going to be put in via texture for now, I may add them in later on the model if the texture craps out.
