macho brace ev all that stuff

ok, heres the deal. say i wanted to raise a killer crobat. from the advanced trainer guide i read over at game faqs. I would start buy feeding him 10 att steriods . put on the macho brace go by the sky piller and kill absol after absol(easiest pokemon i can think of with high e points in att, although very random) now with the brace on doubles absol 2att to 4att.In doing all of this will provide me with a large increase in att or just a small one.

Does running away effect ev, or must you battle for the points ?

You need to kill the enemy pokemon to get the EVs.

If you fed Crobat 10 proteins, it's attack will have 100 EVs. Then, with macho brace attached, you need to kill 38 absol to max out Crobat's attack stat (252 EVs).
