From my experience, unlike that picture, froot loops don't glow; I just chose that picture because it was glowing, and I thought that was cool. Seeing as I invented this revolutionary holiday, any form Froot Loops, not just the Kellogg's type, would suffice.

Haha! Well, I used to love Froot Loops a a kid (must be an Australian and European cereal). When I was stoned on September 9, 2008, I along with my friend decided to purchase some Froot Loops and eat them.

I nearly cried with joy at the nostalgic taste that was rushing through me. I cried out, "I'm tasting rainbows here!"

It's not just Australian and European, we have it in Argentina as well and I've seen it in the USA. But I like the Granix ones better.

Froot Loops has been one of my favourite cereals for years. Despite the fact the loops don't have a "true" fruity flavour to them, they're still great with milk, and just as good when made into squares.

Gabi, about the Granix equivalent of the cereal you have in Buenos Aires, do they have the same taste as the Froot Loops over here? I'm just a little curious.

I don't know what they taste like in Canada (each country has its own formula), but they're tastier and slightly less sugary than the Froot Loops Kellogg's makes in Argentina. Though that probably means they have a higher concentration of artificial flavoring.

I was wondering why I hadn't found any evidence of this either. I even went on the Froot Loops webpage and shot pirates with lasers, but no mention of a Froot Loop day.

International Froot Loops Day has been officially over in Australia for 42 minutes. I was surprised at the support I got today, people that I didn't expect telling me how they had Froot Loops for breakfast.

I spent my first International Froot Loops day by indulging in a big bowl for breakfast, and a big bowl for dinner. I also took some photos for the Facebook group: a photo of myself pouring it down my throat out of the cereal box, almost choking in the process; I spelled out 09/09/09 with Froot Loops, I'm an amateur so they're pretty crap, and I really hate my 9's; and finally I got my roommate to take a photo of me in the shower, pouring froot loops over my head - rainbows falling bit by bit from the sky.

Now I have to shower as I have artificial sugar all throughout my scalp. Overall, a fine Froot Loops day! :)

First off Patrick Stewart is not a has been. Second Star Trek is far from overrated and shitty. It's been running in one form or another for the last 40 years at least and is only second behind Doctor Who for longest running sci fi series.
