My answers:

1. Have you got a driver's licence? If not, do you plan on getting one?
No, I haven't. I won't get one, since I'm a bit afraid of driving and it also costs some money.

2. Do you have a car?
Nope.

3. Have you owned more than one car?
See previous.

4. What's the legal age for driver's licence where you live?
18.

5. How much do you use car compared to trains, busses, bikes, walking etc.?
Well I walk daily, use my bike a little, and prefer a train in a long journey. Train traveling is nice.

6. Do you have a favourite car manufacturer?
Nope. Some cars look cooler than others, but the problem is, I don't identify them at all.

7. Are you good at repairing cars?
I have never tried repairing a car.

8. Are you hungry right now?
A little. Have eaten a heavy lunch and some candy though.

Yes. I'm on my restricted. I could get a Full License but too lazy.


2. Do you have a car?

Yes. A 2005 Suzuki Swift Limited in Garnet Orange. I got it brand new too. Has a few scratches but the Swift is a good car.

3. Have you owned more than one car?

No. But I use to pretend to own several cars here at TPM. In fact one time I got stoned and was in my major lying stage and pretended to have a Ferrari. What a fucking dickhead I was. Well I still am.

4. What's the legal age for driver's licence where you live?

We have a three tier system. Learners license at 15. Basic written and scratchies test. Allows you actually learn to drive.

Then restricted after six months holding learners (3 months if do special course). Its a 30 minute drive. I failed it once then told the instructor off for failing me. It means you can drive by yourself from 6am to 10pm. Can't carry passengers unless there is someone with a full license who have held that for two years. I break the rules all the time.

Full License can be obtained 12 or 18 months (not sure) after holding restricted. One hour drive. I should get off my ass and get it.

5. How much do you use car compared to trains, busses, bikes, walking etc.?

Christchurch doesn't have trains. I hate buses. When I first moved to Christchurch at 18 I used buses for a few years. They sucked. I don't like bikes. I use to walk alot. Now I'm just lazy.

6. Do you have a favourite car manufacturer?

I like Suzuki because I own one. But also a fan of Holden who are an Aussie brand owned by general motors. And I rather like Audi.

I can not stand Korean cars or BMW cars.

7. Are you good at repairing cars?

NO.

Yes, I have. I'm on #3. (#2 was a tide-me-over car after #1 died before my senior year of college.)

16, although you can get a learner's permit at 15 and a half, which allows you to drive if another licensed driver is in the car.

Nowadays, quite a lot. There just isn't time to wait for the bus every day... nor am I able to bike to campus quickly enough.

Not really. Cars are cars.

Hahahahaha... ha. No. Not even close.

I'm always hungry.

Nope, though I plan on writing the test in December. If I can anyway. I swear it's a bloody conspiracy against me, first the buses I take go on strike, then my University and now when I want to get my license the Examiners go on strike! I cannot win! ¬¬'''

Zat would be a no.

It's sixteen, though now they have it in stages. G1, G2 and G. G1 is a year unless you go to Young Drivers for schooling, then it's 6 months. You can't drive without a fully licenced driver with you, at night or on the highway. G2 is one year but you can drive alone and at night (I think). G fully licensed and you're finally allowed on the highway ( I believe anyway).

5. How much do you use car compared to trains, buses, bikes, walking etc.?
Rides from others often enough, but buses go everywhere where I live so that usually can get me where I want to go. That and my own two feet. I don't bike too often, and though I think it's illegal now in my city (shakes fist), riding a horse about might be fun :D. Heck my mom used to do it 'round here.

6. Do you have a favourite car manufacturer?
Er.... Mazda. I like the funky colours and the designs are usually different-looking. The ones I've seen anyway. Besides, there not uber-expensive.

7. Are you good at repairing cars?
... never tried. I'm not too bad getting myself out of jams with a tractor though. I always liked mechanical stuff.

8. Are you hungry right now?
No, sleepy.

- No and yes. I live in a big city and am used to traveling by train and walking and have never felt inclined to obtain my license. My family has been pestering me to get a license though so that they can buy me a car.

I've got my learner's permit? I'm too much of a lazy git to get my proper license. Plus I have no particular ambition to drive, and being in an incident where a car plowed into the side of a car I was in (no injuries) has gotten me all rattled.

Nope. Though I suppose if I did own one it would give me more incentive to drive.

I think it's 16 here. I know that it's 15 a few miles west in North Dakota.

I drive almost exclusively. I only walk when I'm on campus.

I'm particularly partial to Toyota. Call be biased, but I am.

I have a book that details how to fix almost anything with my car, and I've used it a few times. On my own, though, no way.

I drive practically every day of my life, for at LEAST an hour. I've put about 14k miles on my car since July, its that ridiculous

Yes, I have one.

Currently on my third.

4. What's the legal age for driver's licence where you live?
16 and 1 month, but that's for the provisional license, which has restrictions like you can't drive after midnight, nobody under 18 in the car with you except your family, etc. Learner's permit is 15 and 9 months, you need to have that for 4 months before you can get your provisional license, then you need your provisional license for 18 months to have your full, unrestricted license. That is, if I remember correctly, it's been a while since I went through the process.

5. How much do you use car compared to trains, busses, bikes, walking etc.?
The only time I've used public transportation is on the occasional trip to Baltimore or DC, otherwise I drive wherever I go. I own a bike, but both tires are flat and likely rotted. I'll walk if I'm just going to the house of someone who lives on my street.

6. Do you have a favourite car manufacturer?
Nah. I like anything that'll take me from point A to point B (which my first car just barely did, and the two after that have done quite well, so I'm happy)
