Yeah, Gyarados was designed after the Chinese dragons of legend, so it deserves it despite having the unusual Water attribute.

Also, why was this topic named after the Ku Klux Klan? :\

And yesh! Its weird that its not dragon water...But back then they wanted dragon to be super rare. So it and Charizard are shafted the subtype of flying.

Depends on what kind of dragon are we talking. Both Charizard and Dragonite follow the western tradition of dragons, so if i had to choose for western type i would go with Charizard.

If eastern dragon is what this poll is about i will also choose Gyarados.
