Admit it......it's happened to you at least once. Your minding your business and going about your day when you all of a sudden here those dreaded words......

NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP! NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN......yada, yada, yada.....

If this has happened to you then you've just been Rick Rolled.

The purpose of this thread is to share the funniest and most unexpected times you've been Rick Rolled. Doesn't matter if it was intentional or not. In my book having that song or video pop up at the most unexpected moment is grounds enough to be a Rick Roll in my book. To start off here's mine:

This morning I had to make an early morning run to the market for my kittens since they were out of food. On the way back I decided to stop off at Perkins for a nice breakfast. There I am drinking my juice and listening to the nice calm Christmas music while I'm eating my eggs. All of a sudden.......

NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP! NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN.......

That's right.....I got Rick Rolled in a Perkins! It was even more jarring when you consider the fact that the three songs before that were all quiet and peaceful sounding holiday music X_X

The stupid thing is, the song is actually not that bad. But the internet can do some cruel things to just about ANYTHING.

Most people simply can't resist a link, even if you KNOW what's coming.

I've been rickrolled... twice, I think. One involved a link to a Youtube video that I quickly escaped. The other was much more annoying: my browser proceeded to load a dialog box with the first line of the song in all caps, and each time I clicked out of a dialog box the next line in the song followed. Once I realized what was happening, I clicked "X" as rapidly as I could for about a minute before the madness finally stopped.

Oh, and I was also rickrolled once while watching Family Guy. All of a sudden, Brian started singing the song for no reason at all. Come to think of it, though, I may have been delusional, because for some reason I also thought he had traveled several decades into the past.

Let's see. Barry Manilow had a new cover album out (The Greatest Songs of the Eighties (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Greatest_Songs_of_the_Eighties)) and I watched the commercial for it. I supposed it's technically "Mani Rolled" but I'm fine with the traditional classification.

And this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AZgqZZLPcQ) (alternate view of the event hither (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_ZtEJAR_sU)). I wasn't there, but it still caught me by surprise.

Hilarity. I always heard about it, but I never knew the significance of it. LOL I love the Barack one best though.

Barack Roll?

Also, apparently duckrolling is the original one. I've never seen the duckroll though.

At least I don't think...
