Hey guys, it's now Boxing Day so that means Christmas Day was yesterday...at least I think it was...

Anime
The latest episode in Japan aired on Christmas Eve. It contained spoilers.
Yeah...
DP157: Fukumara! Got It!! featured the Gible from last week's episode. Both Ash (who had recently had a team change) and Barry (who was just there) attempt to catch it. You can use the predictable nature of the anime to guess who got it. The next episode will be Magnezone VS Metagross...oh yay.

Events
Two events that were available to the Japanese versions of Hg/Ss earlier this year, are going to be repeated again. The first event will be the repeat of the Mew Event, allowing Gen IV users to obtain a Mew. This event will run from Jan 29th to Feb 14th. This event will also work for Sinnoh users too...you're gonna need Wi-Fi, however.
The second event will be the repeat of the Pokewalker Course Yellow Forest. This will run from Feb 16th to Feb 28th and allows you to capture the Yellow Rodent: Pikachu, which may, or may not, have the moves of Surf or Fly.

In Other News...

The Speed Gamers were successful in their attempts and obtained all 493 Pokemon. They raised $18, 358: over their goal of $15, 000. The team completed their goal by evolving Bayleef into Meganium.

The new Super Smash Bros. has been released for the U.S and is available on the Wii Shop Channel. It is a, sort of, remake of the game for the Nintendo 64. It has been out in Japan and Europe for a while now. The two playable Pokemon are Pikachu and Jigglypuff.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Hope you enjoyed it! See you guys next year. Since I'll be seeing you all next week.

The "new Super Smash Bros." isn't new at all, or a remake, or a sort of remake. It's a release for the Virtual Console, thus it's the original game being played through software emulation.
