I thought there was a limit on Ladder matches, but I went over the rules 3 times and I didn't say a rule saying you couldn't. SO LETS GET THIS THING ON.

Ultimate Charizard
1st January 2010, 09:56 PM
It says you can have as many Ladder battles as you like but they count towards your ASB Battle Cap. Since i have mutliple slots left i can jump in on multiple.

Ill kick things off with Nidoking.

Lets start off with a little power flexing. Start with a Shadowball and folllow that with a Sludge bomb. End the round by whipping up a Sandstorm.

Shadowball - Sludgebomb - Sandstorm.

Ok Mary lets get in the with some quick damage by trying to dodge the Shadow Ball and hitting him with 3 quick Ice Beams.

There is no limit on the number of ladder matches you can be in, however, they still contribute to the ASB battle cap.

And without further ado, we begin this battle...

vs.
http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/sprites/plmfa/34.png
Nidoking M
100HP/100EP

You join as at the Indigo Plateau arena where these two trainers are embarking on their mission to rise up the ladder. The trainers take their places and the referee arrives, signals to his assistants that all is in order, and then raises his arms.

"Fight."

Each trainer launches a Pokeball into the arena, releasing their respective Pokemon. A ferocious Nidoking comes from the blue trainer, emitting an earth-shaking roar from his colossal mouth. On the other side of the arena, an elegant Mismagius begins to zip around the arena, taking advantage of its natural mobility over the Nidoking.

Nidoking attempts to turn in order to target Mary Celeste but she appears to be far too agile. He then opens his mouth and begins to gather shadow energy in his mouth. As Mary Celeste passes him, he unleashes a fierce Shadow Ball, striking the surprised Mismagius with a heavy hit (-12HP)(-5EP)(-SPDEF)! Mary Celeste begins to fall to the ground, but just before landing she flies directly upwards, spinning above Nidoking. She begins to glow a brilliant ice blue and fires a terrific Ice Beam, cleanly hitting Nidoking head-on (-17HP)(-6EP).

Nidoking shakes off the icicles that have developed around his head and smashes the frozen rocks around him with his tail. Mary Celeste knows Nidoking is angry now and begins to retreat to a safe range, but Nidoking takes in a large gulp of air, his stomach swelling. He then fires a Sludge Bomb like a large toxic shell at the retreating ghost, who is struck, covered with toxic sludge (-9HP)(-4EP). Mary Celeste turns around and, glowing once again, strikes back with another Ice Beam, forcing Nidoking to raise his arms in order to take the brunt of the attack (-15HP)(-6EP).

Nidoking slams his arms down, smashing the ice and then raises his arms, which begin to glow white. As he does this, sand, small rocks and debris begin to swirl around him, which then quickly envelops the whole arena in a Sandstorm, forcing the trainers and the referee to raise their arms over their eyes in order to keep watching the battle (-5EP). Mary Celeste braves the storm, charging towards Nidoking and attacking with another Ice Beam, which, despite the conditions, breaks through and hits Nidoking again (-16HP)(-6EP).

As the round ends, Mary Celeste is struck by debris (-3HP).

Nidoking looks frosty as he draws in a big breath, staring squarely at Mary Celeste. As Mary begins to glow white, he opens his mouth, unleashing an ear-piercing Supersonic attack at Mary. She winces under the attack and tries to shake off the ringing in her ears, but falls underneath its spell (-4EP)(Confused!). The confusion sets in and she completely forgets her command, instead the energy she had already gathered exploded inside her (-4HP)!

Noticing his opponent is confused, Nidoking gives out a hearty roar and with that summons two of his partners to bear down attacks on the unwitting Mary, using Beat Up (-4EP)(-4HP)! Mary recovers quickly, however, and appears to have shaken off her confusion (Confused!)! With this in mind she glows a brilliant ice blue and fires Ice Beam at Nidoking (-16HP)(-6EP)!

Nidoking shakes off the icicles and growls, only to be hit once again with a barrage of ice as Mary once again uses Ice Beam (-17HP)(-6EP)! Roaring loudly, he raises his arms and, gathering lightning energy in between his claws, unleashes a devastating Thunder attack at his opponent, striking her cleanly (-14HP)(-8EP)!

At the end of this round, the sandstorm still rages, striking Mary with flying debris (-3HP).

It is, but it only has 10 power, times the number of other Pokemon in your party. As this is a 3 on 3, that means 10 times 2, then I double it for super-effectiveness, making it only 40. I randomise the damage any attack does and scale it to its relative power.

With simple commands to follow, the Pokemon move to act them out. Nidoking opens up the fight by charging up a Thunder attack, sending a ferocious bolt of lightning crashing into Mary (-8EP)(-14HP)! Mary shakes off the shocks and strikes back with yet another Ice Beam (-18HP)(-6EP).

Both Pokemon are still standing but Nidoking looks like he's on his last legs. He summons up yet another Thunder attack and brings down another massive bolt onto Mary, who is paralyzed by the attack (-8EP)(-13HP)(Paralyzed!)! Mary looks stunned by the paralysis, but manages to summon the energy to perform another Ice Beam, this one finally bringing the massive Nidoking down (-17HP)(-6EP)(Fainted!)!

The round begins with the blue trainer recalling his fallen Nidoking and sending out another vicious Pokemon, this time a Scizor, who looks ready to taken revenge for his fallen comrade.

Mary anticipates that this fresh Pokemon will go straight on the attack and braces herself by surrounding herself with a forcefield, using Protect (-6EP). However, the attack doesn't come, as instead Scizor chooses to use Swords Dance, beginning to spin wildly around as his aggression grows and his claws sharpen (-5EP)(ATK++).

Mary, unimpressed by this little dance, begins to beam with brilliant light and as if by some kind of ghostly magic, the sandstorm lifts completely and the clouds part, bringing a magnificent sunshine beaming down onto the battlefield with Sunny Day (-5EP)! Scizor, however, charges forward, his claw pulsating with dark energy and he strikes through Mismagius with a ferocious Night Slash (Critical Hit!)(-5EP)(-25HP)!

Reeling from this last attack, Mary quickly brings up another forcefield, using Protect (-6EP). Scizor, however, chooses to land and bring his claws across his chest and begins growing brightly, raising his armour with Iron Defence (-5EP)(DEF++).

Mary attempts to brace herself but her paralysis kicks at the worst possible time! As Wildfire lands in front of the steadfast Scizor, he releases an earthshaking roar, blasting the air with jets of fire. Scizor raise a claw, signalling he is ready and unafraid.

Wildfire takes in a huge breath and then snaps his neck towards Scizor, blasting him with a destructive Flamethrower! Scizor quickly acts and begins glowing white and spinning, using a Swords Dance to attempt to cast off the flame. The inferno begins to rage around him, and although he continues to spin inside the inferno, he is being roasted as the intense heat bears down on him and the flames lick his steel, bug-like carapace (-5EP)(ATK++)(-16HP)(-6EP).

As Wildfire lets up, Scizor blasts the flames away from around him, although his exoskeleton has been clearly charred by the attack. Wildfire once again summons another Flamethrower, and, instead of attempting to avoid it, Scizor once again uses Swords Dance to protect himself, much to a similar effect as the last attempt (-5EP)(ATK++)(-17HP)(-6EP).

As soon as Wildfire lets up his attack, he quickly bears another Flamethrower down on the smoking Scizor, who uses another Swords Dance to try to avoid being horribly sizzled (-5EP)(ATK MAXED!)(-17HP)(-6EP).
