More shiny new info! :D

The Professor of Isshu is called Professor Araragi, and is female! The white pokemon in the pictures is called Chiramii, and is a normal type chinchilla pokemon. Its abilities are Technician and Cute Charm, and it can learn a new move called Sweep Slap.

Apparantly, the partial-picture of the pink pokemon is called Munna, and the purple circle may be a pokemon, though we don't know its name yet.

The last confirmed pokemon in this leak is the bird shown in the pictures below; a pigeon by the looks of it. I actually think it's kinda cute, the pigeon, which is odd for me. XD

So, at least one of yesterday's rumors is true. The professor is female, which is good considering it's become a total sausage fest as far as professors go lately.

The Gear is called... "Gear", and has either Plus or Minus as its ability, yeah Plusle's and Minun's abilities. It makes sense too if you think of the two abilities as translating to different directions (clockwise/counterclockwise). Two gears turning in opposite directions can be put together.

The bird is a pigeon, which makes sense considering this region is going to center around a major city.

The Pokedex looks completely different. Could it be what the 3DS is going to look like? After all, this issue wasn't supposed to come out until the 15th, the same day the 3DS will be unveiled. Hm...

Munna looks like a piggy bank! I wonder if that's intentional. Munna/Money? INTERESTING.

I like Gear. Its little face looks adorably confused. And I really love the Professor's design too, she's so cute! <3

Hmm, oddly enough, the mouse Pokemon there reminds me a little of the Digimon Calumon, from the Digimon Tamers season (season 3).

Of all the new Pokemon shown so far, I really like Meguroko so far, a little crocodile that is Ground/Dark...absolutely cool.

It had been my dream to see a Ground/Dark type, I can't believe it is happening. :)

I haven't seen that one, KoT. Do you have a picture? More Dark types are always good, in my eyes. Not as good as more Fire though, grr.

HAH omg it looks like it's wearing specs! XDD I love that little zebra dude, too. SO CUTE! Thanks Jeff~

I do think it's a bit odd that the croc is all brown-stripey though. I'd like to see a murky green one. I bet that gets a murderous evolution, if it evolves.

The croc doesn't really yell "Pokemon" to me. Everything else, though, I gotta admit... Pretty damn cool. Electric zebra is clever. Fire/Dragon? About fucking time. The new "Pikachu" not being an Electric type? At least GameFreak is being a bit more subtle.

I'm getting really psyched for these games now.

Well, looks like we were right about it being New York.

The map looks very similar to the geography of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey, and not only does the Hiun City bridge (the Brooklyn Bridge lookalike) coincide with the Brooklyn Bridge itself, but there's also another bridge right where the Holland Tunnel should be. Also, of course, there's the fact that one of the new Pokemon is a pigeon.

A Fire/Dragon that's colored white, and an Electric/Dragon that's colored black. I'm kinda sensing a Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga vibe from those two now...

Reshiram being a Fire-type really threw me off. Ice? Maybe. Light? Definitely. But Fire? ... Lolwut?

It doesn't seem as likely that we'll get a Light-type now, but I still hope we do get one. Same 17 types for 3 generations straight? Yeah, getting old.

LoL @ Random Birdshit, but it's unlikly to have the word shit in it...

I bet you that they got the Ideas for Hihidaruma from King Kong. ;)

but I don't see what zebras have to do with New York...or Chinchillas for that mater...

but yeah I'm kind of annoyed that they did not stick to japan at lest for the fifth and sixth gens then on the seventh gen do New York...

Has there ever been two opposing types which are super effective against each other? If light were ever introduced as a new type -- which would be the perfect time in accordance with 'Black and White -- then light should be super effective against dark Pokemon and vice versa. :)

I saw a lot of this stuff (mainly the Pokemon and the new professor) last Saturday night.

My most favorite of the new Pokemon revealed is Shimama, the Electric-type zebra (I hope it's good, 'cause I want it on my "Black" team!), but I actually like them all to some extent.

I also think it's really cool that the "B&W" professor is a woman, too.

Heh, I remembered you saying that you hoped for a pidgeon Pokemon! :D

I dunno about the Light-type (it would have been cool, though), but maybe if you think of Reshiram being "white-hot", it makes sense in that sense. :)
