I can pick up another match, I think.

3v3
Banning the non-damaging healing moves seems to be the in thing nowadays, so...
Banned: Non-damaging Healing Moves (If the move increases your hp, but doesn't affect the opponents, it's a no-go.)
Arena: Lavender Tower (from Red/Blue). Lots of tombstones to trip over.
DQ period: 1 week

I'll send out Tyrant, my male Spiritomb.

Dryk
8th July 2010, 09:41 PM
I think i have enough time to pick up another match, if you don't mind me.
I'll go with Cham, my female Charmander.
Let's start off with a swords dance, then try to hit with a will-o-wisp, finishing with a dragon rage.

by the way, are abilities on because if so then Cham has Blaze

Abilities are on, just so that I will be forced to update them at some stage. Spiritomb has pressure.

Snatch ~Protect ~Sucker Punch
And I'll update the match title later.

Pre-Battle:

The ref walks out onto the battleground, the ghostly Lavender Town. My Mime, Jr. dances beside me as I glare at the two combatants below. The First, Chaos Redefined, looks at the other trainer and releases Tyrant, their Spiritomb into battle. His opponent, Dryk, looks upon the ghost and smiles, sending out his female Charmander, Cham. The trainers glare at each other, issues their orders, and we begin!

And we're off! Cham starts off by glowing a little and spinning on the spot, raising his attack twofold. Tyrant stares him down and starts glowing himself, his own attack raised twofold

Tyrant: (-4 EN) / Cham: ( -4 EN)

Cham then sends forth a wisp of white burning hot air, attempting to burn the Spiritomb, but an invisible shield guards him, rendering the attack useless.

Tyrant: (-6 EN) / Cham: (-5 EN)

Cham then prepares to send forth waves of dragon energy, but before he can send off any, he gets hit quickly and suddenly from behind, stalling his attack as the round comes to a close.

The way I read Snatch is that it copies the healing or stat changing effect of the move the opponent is using. So as Cham used Swords dance to raise his attack, Tyrants attack would also be raised.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The start of an exciting Round 2 kicks off as Tyrant starts sticking out his ghostly tongue and calling our dear Charmander friend some rather nasty names...at least those that speak pokemon can understand them! Infuriated, Cham starts being encircled by a collection of energy orbs, which suddenly turn a dark purple, GHOST, and hurl at the Spiritomb causing a good bit of damage.
Tyrant: (-8 HP, -4 EN) / Cham: ( -6 EN)
Tyrant responds to this latest hit by using his energy to pick up rocks and tombstones and hurl them at Cham, who becomes encased within them. Suddenly, a massive burst of fire bursts through and tags Tyrant. Cham emerges from the rocks, not happy.
Tyrant: (-9 HP, -8 EN) / Cham: (-16 HP, -6 EN)
To close the round, Tyrant issues a series of Water Pulses while Cham launches a large Fire Symbol at the ghost pokemon. The Water attack holds power over the fire, but barely any breaks through the flame to hit Cham, much to his relief as the round comes to a close.
And here we go with Tyrant starting things off, he looks at Cham and starts chanting and sending waves of hypnotic effect towards the Charmander. Cham opens his mouth to send out the ordered fire attack, but closes it slowly as he drifts into a deep sleep.
Tyrant: (-4 EN) / Cham: Sleeping
Tyrant looks at his sleeping victim, and decides not to attack, but creates a plush copy of himself to take his place on the field. Cham just sits there, a bubble going up and down from his nostril.
Tyrant: (-8 HP, - 8 EN) / Cham
To close the round, Tyrant bears down on the sleeping lizard and delves into his dreams. An orb appears around the charmanders head and makes its way towards spiritomb, who engulfs it as the round comes to a close.
I was debating that myself, and looking back on it, yes, you should. I was just confused because the attackdex lists it as Damage: N/A, and Fatigue: Moderate, but thinking on it, that can include damage to health as well. So Reffing updated, and we do appreciate the honesty ^.^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Round 4 kicks off as Tyrant begins with a chant, which starts to make him glow as his attack power rises! Cham also begins mumbling in his sleep, then suddenly, he gets up, and performing the oddest thing you would ever see a charmander do, he opens his mouth a spews forth a burst of water, which he surfs upon before it crashes into the Spritomb doll with great force. Unfortunately since it IS a water attack, it does cause a small amount of recoil damage to Cham, but not much.

Tyrant: (-5 EN, +2 Attack) / Cham: (-3 HP, -7 EN)

Tyrant is veryhappy, so he gushes forth a spew of purple liquid, badly poisoning the sleeping lizard who rushes forward, his claws glowing an odd lime-green color and slashes across the ghost pokemon, causing the substitute to burst, revealing the real Tyrant.

Tyrant: (- 5 EN) / Cham (-4 EN, Poisoned)

Tyrant finishes the round by emitting a pulse of energy, pushing the sleeping Cham back, but wait, hes not sleeping anymore. He goes after the ghost pokemon with an intense burst of fire causing great damage, but lowering his sp. attack. Toxic takes its opening effects as the round comes to a close.

Tyrant: (-7 HP, -3 EN) / Cham: (-6 EN)

Cham then sends a burst of red hot flames after the Spiritomb, who gets up and takes the weakened hit. He gets up, steaming, and once again starts glowing slightly, his attack rising even more!

Tyrant: (-6 HP, - 5 EN, +2 Attack) / Cham (-6 EN)

For the final moves of the round, Cham once again sends forth a mass of weakened fire, in the form of a kanji symbol. This time Tyrant answers with a super-powered jet of aqua rings, the first of which deals with the fire, and the rest of which strike the Charmander who cries out as the round comes to a close.

What? Part-dark type? how am i supposed to get exp for all these new ghosts with that... oh well. we'll worry about that in a bit.

First off, I have some plans, and we can't have this little fishy ruining them for me. So, let's begin with a Toxic, because toxic is awesome like that. Then, take a moment to relax. Don't want you dying to EN loss just yet. Finally, Taunt him ready for next round.

Water Pulse ~ Ice Beam ~ Blizzard

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the fall of Cham, Dryk sends out his second choice, a fierce Carvanha who takes refuge in a water filled grave! Tyrant wastes no time in causing bad effects for our new friend as he spews some purple goo all over the piranha pokemon, causing it to seer in pain as she becomes badly poisoned. In retaliation, Carvanha spews out a big jet of water rings, super-powered by the rain which smash into Tyrant with a passion!
Tyrant: (-12 HP, -6 EN) / Carvnha: (-6 EN)
Really exhausted, Tyrant takes a relaxing break to recover some energy, but is it so relaxing? Now when he gets smashed with a Giant beam of frozen ice sent his way by Carvahna. Added to the effect that he was already wet, the ice beam manages to freeze over the ghost type pokemon while causing damage!
Tyrant: (-12 HP, +6 EN Frozen) / Carvanha (-6 EN)
Tyrant may be recharged, but he isnt out of trouble. No, he gets blasted by an onslaught of cold snow and wind. Carvanha is very happy, but feels the starting effects of the poison as the round comes to a close.
Tyrant: (-16 HP, +4 EN) / Cham: (-2 HP, - 8 EN)
The rain comes to and end as well!
Tagging in for the man with the plan. I'm in Lavender Tower again. Hate this place. Creepy phantoms. Fufufufufuu! Anyway, Dryk's little fishie throws a wrench in Chaos' phantstic plans, and now he's gotta quick sub out and introduce a shock player in the midst. Sharkie flops around pretty fast for a fish outta water, but 9-volt is on it. That haphazard bolt zigzags faster than Sharkie and plows right in his face.
9: -2E ===///=== Sh: -3E Par +2 Spd
Slowed down now, Sharkie looks as Volt comes over, trying to show of his muscles. Sharkie however, spits at him. 9-volt takes a step back, not happy with being wet.
Mainly because now he's headed towards a grave. Confusion!
9: -3E/-5H Cfn ===///=== Sh: -4E
9 volt looks around and begins digging up a grave DUDE WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Sharkie laughs and fires off a pinpoint Blizzard at him. The Ice coats everything, walls, tombstones, even gives the ground a nice frostbitten layer that messes with 9's fingers. Oooh chilly.
9 Volt and Sharkie seemed completely out of it. I say this because 9 volt turend to focus on another grave-and fire a Signal Beam at it! Sharkie found this amusing, but went with instinct and fired a Water Pulse to keep the fun times going!
9: -6E/-4H ===///=== Sh: -4E
However, the fun stops here, as Sharkie clenches up bad. The fish begins to sink, and it does not help that the only sign of someone noticing is yellow-sparking and throwing a Thunderbolt at your dorsal fin.
9: -7E ===///=== Sh: Par -18H
Not pleased about paralysis, Sharkie bobs back up and manages to focus MORE than enough water from this Tower to go and billow forth. Sure some of it is from the sea. Lyg hisses at the floating Pokemon trapped in the rock, and continued to drain as much health as possible. But 9 was not going to take this sitting down...and soon a thunderous boom flushes the little Pokemon with both psychic energy and rocks.
9: -8E/-10H ===///=== Lyg: -8E/-10H/+5H
Lyg flipped up and bit through the rocks in order to see 9 hovering over him. 9 raised one arm and began to copy that last attack Lyg was stuck on doing. Lyg hisses, wondering why this damn cat was not dying..but now he dropped!
9: -5E/-3H ===///=== Lyg:-8E/+1H
Lyg snaps in peace :D
Arena: Lavender Tower (from Red/Blue). Lots of tombstones to trip over.
===Round 15===
Chaos groans, and releases his final Pokemon, a hefty Kangaskhan named Smack. The large Pokemon bellows, but Lyg is fearless! No foe is too big! It scuttles over and slams its head down on the ground, forcing many a Tombstone and soft earth up to hit Smack in the face. Smack retaliated with a watery hit herself, knocking the antlion over.
Smack: -4E/-9H ===///=== Lyg: -7E/-12H
Lyg got up from that hit, but as the Ice Beam came hurtling his way, he was already behind a grave digging. The Beam hit the Tombstome and effectively sealed off Lyg's entryway. Crap.
Smack: -8E ===///=== Lyg: -3E
Smack waits patiently, until the ground rises up next his feet. Once Lyg comes up and bites Smack on her foot, the kangaroo laughs as a huge tidal wave of ocean water grabs Lyg and drags him off and away. That's pain.
Smack: -8E/-8H ===///=== Lyg: -3E/-16H
===Round 16===
Lyg stares at the larger Pokemon, and scrunches its mouth up. Smack has a feeling what might happen and holds out one hand. Right then, Lyg spits, and the Toxic golb smacks right into that Protective shield. Smack lowers his hand. This might be easy.
Smack: -7E ===///=== Lyg: -3E
Lyg grunts and jumps up and down. For an ant, this damn thing is quick. Smack feels the ground shift and grind underneath her and she raises her hands as she falls sideways. Lyg hears the familiar sound and turns to see a massive wall of water crash on the shifting land, almost pulling him to the sea. Lyg manages to right itself, as Smack wipes off the dirt.
Smack: -8E/-12H ===///=== Lyg: -8E/-16H
Lyg stares at Smack and decides damage control is on order. Smack however, walks over to Lyg. Even though there's a strange green aura covering Smack, she causes another Surf to harm the small beast. Least that Surf didn't hurt at full capacity.
Smack: -8E/-10H ===///=== Lyg: -8E/-16H/+5H
===Round 17===
Smack feels that the water would be a suitable grave for Lyg and calls upon the surf to do its dirty bidding once more. But Lyg, no lyg does not give up so easily sir. It takes the hit, fighting against the current and breaches itself once more.
Opening that enormous maw, a bright shining light concerns Smack,and with good reason. The Hyper Beam that follows takes Smack for a ride, causing her to smash through tombstones and fall into a empty grave in order to free herself from the beam's trajectory.
Smack: -8E/-17H ===///=== Lyg: -13E/-16H
Panting for air was Lyg's breather, as Smack clamored out that hole. That damn ant was tough. She ran for him and smacked him down into the ground with a watery strike as he recharged.
Smack: -5E===///=== Lyg: -12H *Crg*
One more surf right? Smack calls upon the wave, but Lyg dashes in and Flails all about, knocking Smack down. Both Pokemon are struck by the incoming water, and both are sucked out to sea...
Smack: -8E/-14H ===///=== Lyg: -8E/-16H
Only, Smack comes back holding an unconscious Lyg. This one's for the books people.
