===Round 1===

Well, ok. I snuck here in Galactic HQ. Before I get a chance to override their master keyboard and jump on the Galactic train, my infiltrating cohorts have a dispute and now they're about to have a Pokemon Battle. Damn it guys! Well anyway, as I get to work securing a escape route, Shinx and Edward go at it. Shinx fired a Thunderbolt. Edward fired a Sludge Bomb in retaliation and both Pokemon backed up.

Shinx: -7E/-11H ===///=== Ed: -7E/-18H

Shinx growls and fires off an all encompassing blast of electricity. It fritzed out a bunch of equipment, which is great for me, I got less work to do! Edward flies through the electric storm and lands on a large filing cabinet! Yeap he's Roosting.

Shinx: -7E ===///=== Ed: -10E/+15H/-16H

Edward stares as Shinx runs over, glad to have a non moving target. The electric current easily flies up though the metal filing cabinet, but it doesn not strain the poisonous flier as much. Peering down, Edward spits right down on Shinx in this enclosed area, as I note Galactic members running up to this control room! Shinx hacks and coughs some of that out of his mouth, but yeah he's poisoned.

While I try to make sure Team Galactic does not get into this room, you two think its ok to fight? Damn you guys! Edward fires off a flash of light as it takes off toward the left side of the room. Shinx hisses and backflips, able to create a Substitute fast enough to deal with that Confuse Ray.

Shinx growls and fires off a Thunder Wave this time, as Edward sits atop a control panel for the large Magnet Train..Oh great. Electric + computers. Not only does it paralyze the Roosting Crobat, but it shorts out the WHOLE control panel. Smoke's coming from it... its gonna explode.

Edward jumps off the panel as it smokes and Shinx takes advantage, firing a Thunderbolt. Edward tries to fly, but it strikes him back to the ground and forces a paralytic lock up! Edward groans, this does not look good anymore.

Shinx smirks and knows its do or die. As do I-as small explosions are going off and various other Pokemon are flying up to *greet* us. A generous dousing of electrical current washes over Edward, and also hops over to the computer panel. Another one of those and we're in for some deep crap. Let me just pull this last level...o.O! The gate's opening! Great. Now how the hell do we get down there?

Whoa. Shinx's Sub went sailing into pieces, due to that Siudge Bomb. Edward groans, knowing something isn't right.

Feeling a bit vulnerable now, Shinx tries to summon a Thunder. Bt Edward manages to ignore the muscle spasms long enough to force a Whirlwind in this room. The window's shatter as Team Galactic members converge on us! That Whirlwind was a good ploy. A large filing Computer Station smacks Shinx hard and sends him flying out the window!

Edward follows, gliding on the thermal's. I..call out Marauder and we sail on down, to note both Shinx and ccw landing on a train car. Hard. We land on the same car, and Shinx shakes off that stunning hit. That Thunder from before? Yeah it comes now. Edward falls from the sky and lands in a heap two cars back. Paralysis seems to take over now.

The train is picking up steam, and we seem to be outpacing Galactic members. We might just make it after all! Shinx continues the bloody assault, frying Edward as the poor bat is unable to move. Brutal.

Bouncing unsteadily due to the train ride, Shinx begins to steadily build up its electrical conductivity. Swooping in, Edward clamps down and bites Shinx's tail. The small cat winces, but does not flinch, and waits as Edward begins to try and liftoff beofre executing a dangerous ploy. The intense sparks flying from the cat release themselves in a wide arc, bursting once they reach Edward and encase him in a lighting sphere-Thunderbolts ricocheting all over him. Edward drops Shinx and falls to the roof of the car, shocked beyond compare.

Edward gone, Unbraced recalls the bat and reveals his second choice, a spiny little ball of a cactus. Spike watches as Shinx does a backflip, adn along with ccw move to the left edge of the car. That Substitute was immaculate, it had fur and everything. Spike didn't really care for it though, and just danced around a bit.

In fact it danced for quite a while and everyone watched in wonder.

Team Galactic can't catch up! Awesome. But the train is slowing down. That matters not to ccw and Unbraced, as their Pokemon keep battling it out. Shinx greowls as Cacnea prepares to make a Substitute of its own, and dashes toward the cactus. Spike looks up to see Shinx not only tackle him, but smack that sparking charged tail in his face, transferring the charge to his body!

The paralysis took hold instantly, and Spike couldn't move!

Even though it still had energy left, Shinx took a breather. Spike forced his body up and ran over to Shinxsitute, smashing it with his left fist. No health gain? The hell >O!

Spike felt freedom from movement, and unleashed another battalion of Needle projectiles to finally dismantle the Sub, all while Shinx just chilled there.

===Round 7===

The silence is profound here. The deep Mist covers all, and alleviates our fighters of any distractions. We all hop off the train, and Shinx keeps up the rally by Roaring as loud as it can at Spike. Spike lands on soft earth, and sinks his butt into it. Roar or not, he's going nowhere. The Signal Beam that came out of that Roar however, had some oomph to it, and it bothered him dearly.

Damn. The plant was still sticking around. A second Signal Beam was fired, and Spike held on to the ground partially to not be stretched, and partially cause it was scared. But being with the earth gave the Cacnea a larger sense of pride, and the intimidation quickly began wearing off. Shinx got a swift Punch to the jaw, that dragged the kitty closer than before.

Though no attack came from Shinx, paralysis took hold, leaving Spike time to think in this Misty forest.

Shinx shivered from all the poison siphoning. Also prolly moreso due to all this cold air around its body from this heavy laden Mist. This forest was cree-eepy. Spike stood his ground, and watched for any sign of movement. There, to the east! Spike lunged forth, but a yellow/purple shape came from the south and slammed into the ingrained Cactus, throwing his Punch way off.

The Purple hurt alot more-that had to be a damn Signal Beam. But Shinx came to a complete stop, exhausted.

Spike turned to see the small cat light up its teeth, but no, no fire here. Seeds were thrown in instant retaliation, bombing all around Shinx. The cat fainted with a smile on her face.

Spike watched with a slight trepidation and something came into form within the mists where the cat fell. Out strode a elegantly shining fox, whom was already shimmering enough from the dewdrops agaisnt its skin. Tired of this fog, Spike now waved its arms rapidly, forcing the dirt to fly up and create a Sandstorm. Upon this weather change, an ominous groan was heard from the forest..as if it was in disapproval of this.

Cinder glared in this thicket, trying to find the firefox. Cinder silently strode around, plotting his next move carefully. Well, Cinder was not careful enough, a step on a branch gave Spike the distance and area to strike. Woosh, the cactus fist surged through the storm and connected! Cinder skidded a few feet but rolled to a stop, feeling a root by her left hind limb.

Cinder yelped as something lashed out and struck his backside. Moving away from that wayward root, he ran toward Spike. The Sandstorm did not mess his vision, and with one breath, Spike saw flames whoosh left and right, before connecting with him. Spike yelled-and the trees seemed to sympathize with his pain.

Spike however, wasn't in pain. He was yelling in fear, hoping his Protect would withstand the fire. It did..barely.

===Round 10===

Spike was glad he was able to survive this far. This fire type had nothing for him. Within the storm, that fox was a bit lost too, but his inability to move very far really hampered this. However, a weird series of waves shot past him, and Spike was able to swing wildly and actually trip up the fox.

Cinder fell, but at least he knew where Spike was again.

Gaining health was easy! Spike went in to hit Ninetales again with a Poison Jab, but he ran through a disorienting series of waves. He still got the Jab off which made Ninetales hop backwards in pain, but Ninetales watches as the cactus fell over, asleep!

Spike stayed asleep currently, and Cinder took advantage, eating those strange, dehydrating dreams. Who dreams about deserts anyway?

As the Mist takes hold, Spike quietly falls into a deeper slumber. Cinder spots the grassy annoyance, and walks right up to it, making sure its asleep. Yeah, out like a light. Good. The ghostly powered fox chants something and its eyes turn blue for a moment. Suddenly, a huge ball of light flashes between the two, and Cinders feels pumped. Too bad he lost that Special skill though...

Glad that went without a hitch Cinder now began building a nice fiery vengeance in his throat. Spike....stayed asleep. Bad bad bad. Cinder liberally douced Spike in flames, trying for the roots

Cinder repeated, keeping his head low as he blew that powerful attack all over Spike. The roots were all disintegrated by the time he as done with Spike. Spike was covered in burns as well, that was not pretty.

Sleeping cacti never learn. Spike rocked back and forth, babbling something in his sleep. He raised his arms however, and began firing many a missile at Cinder with pinpoint accuracy. Cinder was quick to erect a shield, but as the shield fell around him, it began to alight, and swell and coalesce toward his mouth. He lunged forth and fired off that strange Fire Blast incantation, incinerating Spike on the spot.

Spike gone, Unbraced now decides its time for the big guns. He flicks a final sphere from his grasp and watches as it disappears in the fog. A bright flash illuminates the misty area just enough to show Azula where Cinder stands, faded amongst the Mists.

Azula flares up her wrists, and slams her fists into the soft ground. She picks up a nice sampling of the ground and throws it in Cinder's face. Cinder retaliates by getting into Azula's mind and ripping it apart-least that's what it looked like to me-Az's is doin' a funky chicken dance and what not.

Cinder, nor the forest, approves of that Earthquake business, and Cinder tries to take Az down. Cinder gets no more than 3 steps when the ground shakes once more, tripping Cinder up due to stones bashing her body. The fox warily gets back on his feet and dashes over-ready to smash Az. Azula turns, realizing her quarry is rushing her, and watches as that Zen Headbutting fox goes flying past. Whoo thanks for blindness!

Cinder gears up for another massive Extrasensory attack, when an Earthquake forces the Ninetales back. Cinder shivers, but fires off that blast anyway. However, it makes Azula's sense go super acute for a moment and she manages to jump back and avoid the sharpened tree root that appeared out of nowhere! The heck?

Azula hissed, before dashing toward the crafty Cinder. Cinder heard the footsteps and dashed right for them. The two Pokemon dashed by each other but Azulas aim came with three separate hits, two from her feet as she Double Kicked off of Cinders side. But Cinders strike was much more power packed and it floored the fighter on her stomach. Cinder then seemed to bit into Azula's soul and broke it in a way that she siphoned all she could.

Azula, knowing that fox was out for at least this action, decides to pump up her prowess summore in order to take her down. Azula backflips and performs some synchrnized motions, leaving the glittering Ninetales to watch and plot silently.

Feeling better, Azula dashes over and delivers a hell of a rib breaking punch to Cinder's right side. She curls over, but her mind stays sharp. Glaring at the backing away assaulter, a nervous system shutdown was in order...for Azula. The chickenhawk cried out and fell to her knees, mind aching.

Azula growled and dashed in again. She opted for a quick lick to Cinders head, still on the ground. Cinder rolled from the kick and bounded on her feet, using her awesome mind powers to break that fighters will into nothing. Azula dropped, damned near defeat.

The forest began to rumble as Azula pulled in what seemed to be space itself, preparing her for a disastrous head rushing attack. Cinder, fearless and tired as ever, gave one last sprint to stop the madness. She dove in and slashed at Azula's face, causing the bird to fall to her knees. Azula held her self up with her arms, but they buckled...and she fainted.
