Ryandude713 vs Mudkip14

Round 1:

Prebattle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 100% (HP) 100% (Energy)
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 100% (HP) 100% (Energy)

Commands:
Bluto: Amnesia ~ Thunder Wave ~ Curse
Cynda: Growl ~ Sunny Day ~ Fireblast

Battle:
The two trainers enter the arena, Blaine was kind enough to leave his keys out, so the trainers have elected to use his arena for this match. Mudkip sends out his trusty Cyndaquil onto the single platform above the active volcano. Ryandude, hoping for a quick victory due to type advantage, sends out his newest ally, a slowpoke. While Cynda appears to enjoy the heat, Bluto has already began to persipire due to the heat. Cynda, hoping to frighten his opponent growls at his aquatic opponent and bars his teeth. The dosile Bluto appears uneffected and simply removes the ability to growl from Cynda's list of abilities, temporarly atleast.

Cynda turns toward the small ring above at the peak of the volcano and wills the clouds away. But the difference inside the arena is trival, the water level inside the volcano is unnoticable. Bluto fails to notice exactly what Cynda does, and launches twin lines of static electricity at his opponent. The Cyndaquil's body spasms as the charge arcs through his body and through the plateform. Cynda attempts to growl to warn his opponent from that particular move again, but finds he can't remeber how to vibrate his vocal cords.

Again Bluto ignores his opponents antics to focus within himself. He focuses his body, take on the qualities of a slow moving wave. Strong and sure but lacking in haste. He looks up to see his opponent forming a large kata of fire before his head. Just as the kata has finished forming, the muscle spasms return with a vengence, having lost all control over volentary mucsles, Cynda's fireblast is released into the rock wall behind Bluto. The explosion that results drops a number of large rocks onto the platform behind the dopey slowpoke. The metal coil supporting the platform suffers some damage in the avalache, but it holds for the time being.

Post battle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 100% (HP) 90% (Energy) | Slow moving
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 100% (HP) 82% (Energy) | Muscle Spasms for 6 more actions | Forgot how to use vocal cords

Good job Cynda the heat in the area will surely pump up your fire type attacks. Now since your opponent has elected to move slowly use a Toxic to put him in continual pain. Then use Fire Blastx2 to cause him even more pain and hopefully with all of the intense heat inflict a burn.

Subs: If slowpoke uses Rain Dance use Sunny Day again.

Prebattle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 100% (HP) 90% (Energy) | Slow moving
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 100% (HP) 82% (Energy) | Muscle Spasms for 6 more actions | Forgot how to use vocal cords

Commands:
Bluto: Safeguard ~ Double Team ~ Bubble Beam
Cynda: Toxic~Fire Blast/Sunny Day~Fire Blast/Sunny Day

Battle:
Both trainers feel that the time for defensive and preperation is over. Bluto is given the order to raise a protective halo to prevent long lasting aliments. As the halo of blue orbs forms, a glob of toxic goo strikes the slowpoke in the face. Simply blinking away the goo Bluto continues to stare with dull eyes at his opponent. Cynda curses his timing, a moment sooner and he would have succeeded with his attack.

Cynda begins to form another Kata before him. The flaming simple continues to grow as Bluto focuses within himself again. Bluto splits into three, forming a pair of false images to distract his opponent. Randomly selecting a target, Cynda releases his attack at one of the Slowpokes before him. The kata connects with Bluto a knocks him back a few feet, his heels on the very edge of the arena. Bluto slowly inches his way forward, his pair of false images mimic the action, stepping in random directions to mask the location of the real slowpoke.

Again Cynda begins to form a kata to level at his opponents. As the glowing design of flames forms, Bluto continues to move forward. As he nears, stopping 10 feet away from the cyndaquil, the trio of slowpokes open their mouths to release a barrage of bubbles. The stream of bubbles strike Cynda's body, shattering his concentration and inducing another fit of a muscle spasms. The kata of fire flys off above the trio of slowpokes.

Post battle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 85% (HP) 75% (Energy) | Slow moving | Safeguard for 11 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 82% (HP) 61% (Energy) | Muscle Spasms for 3 more actions | Forgot how to use vocal cords for 6 more actions

Cyrus you said that the first Fire Blast hit Bluto but he is still at 100% HP. How is that?

Anyway, Cyna we are failing fast use your own Double Team to get him to start guessing. Then use rest to get rid of that stupid paralysis. Finally use Sleep Talk while you are asleep or if paralysis keeps you from resting use Rest again.

Round 3:

Prebattle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 85% (HP) 75% (Energy) | Slow moving | Safeguard for 11 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 82% (HP) 61% (Energy) | Muscle Spasms for 3 more actions | Forgot how to use vocal cords for 6 more actions

Commands:
Bluto: Substitute/Swift ~ Psychic/Swift ~ Shadowball/Swift
Cynda: Double Team ~ Rest ~ Rest/Sleep Talk

Battle:
Cynda, annoyed at the damage that he has suffered, and his apparent inability to land even two connsecutive blows. Give up on any attempt for an offense for the moment, he creates a pair of false images to absorb attacks. The three images begin to run circles around the haloed Bluto. Ignoring the disadvantage in numbers, Bluto follows his orders and launches a volley of dozens of small heat seeking stars. The stars rip through the false images and reaim themselves back into Cynda's exposed torso. As Cynda recoils, Bluto chuckles at his blight.

The now defenseless Cyndaquil timidly lays down on the ground and begins to enter a healing trance to purge the muscle spasms. As recognization dawns in the eyes of the dosile Bluto, he focuses his mind to deal as much damage to his opponent as possible. Applying a psionic grip to one of the rocks the intranced rodent had blasted loose in the last round. The rock darts through the air to hover two dozen feet above Cynda. With as much force as the slowpoke can put behind it. Combined with gravity, the boulder slams into the cyndaquil's small frame with a revirbaranting squeesh, Bluto releases the grip on the debris. It rolls to the side to land next to Cynda's body.

Again Bluto prepares to strike the slumbering, forming a large orb of negetive energy before him. With the extra time to charge due to an intranced opponent, the orb grows larger than normal, the energy crackles around it. Bluto pitches the orb at his opponent, the orb slams into Cynda's small frame. On contact with the positive energy that is the life force of the small rodent, the sphere of negetive energy detonates. The explosion that results from the two opposite energies mixing drives cynda backwards dangerously close to the edge of the plateform. The only response Cynda can make is an attempt to mumble something. But without the ability to move his vocal cords the hint to what is to come isn't vocalized. A small cloud of embers are spit at Bluto, but combined with the distance they had to travel with Bluto's natural resistence to the heat, little is accomplished by it.

Post battle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 82% (HP) 60% (Energy) | Slow moving | Safeguard for 8 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 52% (HP) 44% (Energy) Forgot how to use vocal cords for 3 more actions | Intranced for another 8 actions (5% regeneration per action)

Round 4:

Prebattle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 82% (HP) 60% (Energy) | Slow moving | Safeguard for 8 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 52% (HP) 44% (Energy) Forgot how to use vocal cords for 3 more actions | Entranced for another 8 actions (5% regeneration per action)

Commands:
Bluto: Dynamic Punch ~ Dynamic Punch ~ Dynamic Punch
Cynda: Sleep Talk ~ Sleep Talk ~ Sleep Talk

Battle:
Bluto slowly bounds over to his entranced opponent. While moving, he slowly charges his paw with chi. as he reaches his opponent, the normally easily dodged move is driven into the Cyndaquil’s skull. Cynda opens his mouth a moan in pain, he probably suffered a concussion due to the last blow. Unable to move his vocal cords, no sound is emitted. No hint is given as Cynda is surrounded by an intense spinning wheel of fire. Bluto ignores the searing heat, his aquatic body resists the heat from the flames. Again Bluto drives a chi charged paw into Cynda’s exposed neck. Again Cynda attempts to howl in pain, but is unable. Yet again his mumblings are unheard, yet the effects are obvious. Cynda scrapes his paw across Bluto’s cheek, opening a small gash. For a third and final time Bluto’s paw is driven into Cynda’s small frame. Again the mumblings are unvoiced. Yet the line of fire bursts free of his open maw. The flames lick Bluto’s body, inflicting reasonable damage to the aquatic sloth.

Post battle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 82% (HP) 50% (Energy) | Slow moving | Safeguard for 8 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 12% (Damage Cap) (HP) 29% (Energy) | Entranced for another 5 actions (5% regeneration per action)

Well Cynda we gave it our all. Try to intimidate him and maybe split the arena and make him fall into the lava below by using snorex3. You tried your hardest and I'm sure you'll win next time.

Cyrus again you said the attacks hit Bluto but no damage difference is shown between the Pre and Post battle stats.

My apologizes... I haven't been sleeping well, combined with two exams yesterday my head wasn't on strait. Thank you for pointing it out.

Round 5:

Prebattle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 52% (HP) 50% (Energy)| Safeguard for 5 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 12% (Damage Cap) (HP) 29% (Energy) | Entranced for another 5 actions (5% regeneration per action)

Commands:
Bluto: Double Edge ~ Double Edge ~ Double Edge
Cynda: Snore ~ Snore ~ Snore

Battle:
The entranced Cyndaquil moans in pain, even with the increased rate of healing, Bluto has been delivering a crippling series of crippling blows. Cynda in an act of desperation releases a single rumbling snore from the now active vocal cords. As close as Bluto was to the defenseless rodent, he is knocked off his feet by the vibrations, as a reflex, Cynda digs his claws into the plateform. Due to the damage already done to the four cables supporting the single plateform, the rumbling causes the plateform to shift violently, snapping the damaged cable. Both trainers lose their footing, falling the plateform, both slide toward the far side of the arena, slipping dangerously close to the edge.
The lose boulders that had been blasted lose slide toward the trainers.

As Bluto manages to return to his feet, observes the dangerous position his trainer and opponent's trainer are in. The single most ingrained portion of a pokemon's training is to never cause harm to humans. Unwilling to see either of them slide off the edge, Bluto telekentically lifts both trainers above the sliding boulders and shifts them onto the a ledge carved into the wall of the arena. While in the healing trance, Cynda is only aware of his opponent. Being unaware of the damage he has inflicted to the arena, he again releases a rumbling yawn that again pitches the plateform around on the three remaining cables. Being prepared for the shifting of the plateform, Bluto manages to retain his footing by using his tail to create a third point to balance his weight on.

Unwilling to risk a third chance for the other cables to snap, Bluto attacks with an unexpected haste. The sloth strikes the entranced cyndaquil with a barrage of wild blows. The ferocious beating leaves brutal welts and violet bruises all over the cyndaquil's body. While leaving the rodent mere breaths away from blacking out, the vicious beating wasn't enough to dispatch his opponent.

Post Battle Stats:
Bluto (Slowpoke, M): 30% (HP) 35% (Energy)| Safeguard for 2 more actions
Cynda (Cyndaquil): 7% (Damage Cap) (HP) 19% (Energy) | Entranced for another 2 actions (5% regeneration per action)

Any sudden movements have a chance of shattering the cables supporting the arena. Further damage to the cables will most likely snap a cable. If any one additional cable snaps, the plateform will drop into the pool of lava below, plunging both pokemon into a lethal bath.

[COLOR=red]Well Cynda we've fought hard and the last round went just as I had planned. Now use a Snore ONLY if you think that it will shake the arena and throw Bluto off balance if you think that doing another Snore will plummet you and Bluto to a firey death then use Sleep Talk. Snore again only if you think that you will not kill both you and your opponent if you can't guarantee that then use Sleep Talk. NOw for your last acvtion since your awake use a Protect to save you from whatever last attack that Bluto has planned.

Battle:
Both trainers sense that this round will see one or possibly both pokemon fall, regardless this well fought match will end soon. Bluto is determined to end this match quickly. Regarldess of the physically dosile nature of a slowpoke, when they want to be a slowpoke is still a being gifted with a great deal of natural expertise with mental skills. His defenseless opponent's healing trance will be able to prevent Bluto's wraith. Unwilling to tempt faith, Bluto simply applies a constricting pressure to his opponent's heart. The force is limited to avoid any permanent damage, but is enough to force his opponent out of his trance and simply into unconsciousness. Bluto releases the telekentic grip and even goes so far as to aid the flow of blood through the body. However the ref waits a full two minutes before declaring the match over and Ryandude713 victor due to knock out. Congradulating both trainers on an extremely well fought match, the ref takes his leave with all possible haste, hoping to avoid the wrath that Blaine will surely vent on who ever he catches in his arena that has been dealt so many damaging blows.

Post Battle Stats:
Ryandude713 is victorious after 6 well fought rounds. You are entitled to 1 yen and 1 catch/evo.

Congradulations to the both of you for an extremely well fought match. Congradulations on your first win by knock out Ryandude.
