So as you probably knew or guessed, mine's winter. I like cold breezes, snowy landscape is beautiful and so on.

Of course, it must be a real winter. Just plain rain and temperature over zero degrees celsius is nothing. We had relatively little snow and the temperature was warm in 2007, 2008 and 2009 but last winter was the real deal. And this winter has seemed really good too so far.

I haven't got a car so I don't have to worry about that and I am hardy as well when it comes to cold.

Now what's your favourite season and why?

Just plain rain and temperature over zero degrees celsius is nothing. So you're saying all my winters are nothing. I think all seasons have their charm, but if I have to choose, I think I like autumn best. The temperature starts cooling down, making it the best time to walk on the street, and we have some rains but not too many, and the trees have leaves with different colors, and work is usually not too heavy.

Well I don't know about Argentina but I said that only because that's not how the winters used to be here in Finland, like in my childhood. Last winter was the first real winter for some time. But every climatical zone sure has its own kind of seasons!

And I like autumn colours, too. I know it may sound quite pointless to choose a favourite season but I wanted to see what happens!

Yes. Stop whining.

My favorite since summer stopped having the no school meaning to me is winter, simply because I like the cold, hate the heat, and Christmanukwanzaakuh happens. :D

Summer, no more school and pretty nice weather.

I hate Summer, it's 30 Celsius or more every day, can't sleep, can't cook, can't go outside for sunburn.. roll on Autumn - cools down and I like the falling leaves.

Winter. Its so much easier to get warm (put more clothes ON) than it is to get cool (there comes a point where your naked and still hot in summer.)

I need my heat. I love summer. Give me over 80 degrees every day, I'll still be outside with long sleeves on. Heat Wave? Sign me up. Specially in NYC, where the sheer mass of buildings raises the temp (and the humidity) an extra 5 degrees in places with no air conditioning (I. Truly. Truly. despise air conditioning). Best season ever. Swim, chill outside , days are super long, most events per day occur in that season, dun hafta worry about clothes too much...yeah, can't beat it. *_*

Autumn because the weather's pretty nice here in that time and it's not insanely hot. (It can hit 100 degrees here or higher in the summer and combined with humidity? Ouch.)

Summer. Days are longer, people come out of hibernation and socialise, swimming is frequent and it's just generally more euphoric. I get pretty depressed in the winter. :(

I like spring the best. It's exhilarating to walk around late in the evening with the sun still out and watch the trees blossom. Really.

Of course I'm from New England, the sun setting at 9 p.m. is nothing unusual :P

Summer is a very, very close second though! My birthday's in early summer (first week of July) and it's usually lovely all through June... but the long, hot days can start to get to you once it gets muggy. This year, it was literally hot and muggy from March through October, which is very, very rare. All the trees and flowers bloomed almost two months earlier than they normally do. It made for some sweet block parties for St. Patrick's Day when it was 85 degrees and sunny! Spring Break felt like a spring break. Normally spring break is still snowy and cold here.

Fall. Cool weather, colorful trees, and knowing that the holidays are right around the corner.

Although I do also really like Summer.

Spring's my fave, when the everything in nature starts to wake up after a long winters sleep. After all the cold and darkness of the winter, the time when there is still snow on the ground but the sun feels warmer on your face and the smell of the earth starts to mingle with the crisp smell of snow. Then as spring goes on the buds appear on the trees and flowers start to grow, as the sunlight grows stronger but there is still a refreshing cool breeze!! I love it.

Summer is too hot for me and even though I like snow, when I was growing up my dad didn't like to waste electricity by putting the heat on so I really hate being cold lol. I have grown to like fall though, so I guess fall is a close second ^-^

Australians only have two seasons so you guys dont get much of a choice XD I do like South Australian summer though, its about as hot as Virginian summers but not humid like the swamp that is Virginia XD

I like Fall a lot, because I like sunless days. I don't mean that in a depressive way, but I like grey days. No rain, no sun, just a normal day. Makes me wanna sit inside (since I spend most time outside the house) and just do chilly stuff.

Rain is also cool.

AND THE LEAVES! OH MY GOD THE LEAVES!

I prefer spring and summer. Higher temperatures, the flowers are blooming, more things to enjoy outside. As much as I like the fall foliage and watching snow fall, I really hate the cold

I like the combined sense of accomplishment and anticipation that comes with spring: the end of the cold and of the school year along with knowing it can only get warmer. The St. Louis area has four distinct seasons and we use them all. Summer is way too humid (and hot), fall shifts too suddenly (and often) from hot to frigid, winters are either a bitter cold or relatively large amounts of snow, and springs are usually far too rainy. Still, the spring seems the least extreme.

It's kind of like that in Rhode Island, except they say we have four seasons--almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction. Zak can relate to that one.

Summer is the best season. I love having no school, swimming and laying out, tank tops and flip flops, cold drinks... :) Fall in college is awesome in its own right though. Winter is always way too busy and stressful in terms of grades and money. This winter's hectic schedule will be worth it though; graduation, my birthday, and christmas all fall within 8 days of each other. I'm going to be so hammered that week. Also I got an awesome new coat I'm dying to try out (I think we had a high of 84 today though).

Fall, I guess. Dead trees, gray sky, and no snow in winter. Thunderstorms and tornadoes in spring. Triple-digit weather in summer. So yeah, fall. The hills look beautiful when all those trees have their leaves change color.
