I had no idea he had been ailing for quite a while, having now noticed articles from November about him being on life support.

My dad told me about him being on life support in November, and literally five minutes ago about his death. Sucks. :(

Oh my - and here I wondered why they had suddenly played "Baker Sreet", one of my favorite songs, on the radio today (which they haven't in a decade or so). What a shame.
