I don't speak Mexican, but apparently this is how they celebrate it.
Anyway, Happy Birthday!

Thanks, everyone! I had a busy day, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Personal replies ahead...
Kyle: thanks for starting this tread. :)
Shonta: thanks for confirming my TM. It'll come in handy someday.
Heald: I have a moderate grasp of "Mexican". Fortunately that video didn't include any Mexican slang, it was just neutral Spanish. Some of the greetings were rather funny. And that's a variant of the Happy Birthday song I hadn't heard before. I wonder why there are so many variants.
Blade: Happy Hanukkah to you.
Dryk: thanks, but... ¿Qué raza? I'm puzzled. O_o Umm... Viva la patria. :patriota: (Just because.)
Mikachu: :keke:
Dark-San: 谢谢!但是我今年三十二岁。 I can't go back to the past, but turning 17 every year would get annoying after a while. Especially since I wouldn't be able to vote, have a bank account, own a car or a house, etc.
Magmar: huh... thanki?

Silly Gabi, Hannukah isn't Spanish. Hannukah is Jewish.

I had to group everyone who lives in/is from a latin american country together to be able to say raza, but well, I think it's an awesome phrase.

Ah, you mean Hispanic culture. OK. :)
And Blade: I shouldn't have to explain the joke but since you apparently didn't get it... using that same logic, Navidad is Christian. You named a Christian holiday in my language, I named a Jewish holiday in yours. I could have gone for a more important holiday, but I wanted to make sure it was one you knew about.

And @ Gabi: I just know a bunch of people who don't say the full cumpleanos, just cumple (I don't actually know how to make accented letters on a Mac... otherwise I'd accent accordingly :) )

Magmar: feliz cumple works just fine. :)
Silly Blade, that's not even funny.
OK, it's been 3 days since my birthday so I guess we can close this topic now. Thanks, everyone.
