Quick newb qustion, can I use a pokemon in more than one battle?

You can have the same Pokemon in one or more battle, the only exceptions to this are Gym Leaders and Contests, in which the pokemon in those fights (for Gym leaders primarily not challengers) must have their Pokemon be free from other constraints.
