Pokemon cameos...how many are you aware of?

Hi guys,

Now, this may seem like an unusual topic to some, but I want to talk about something I'm sure is uncommon in the world of Pokemon...Pokemon cameos. Now, I know the Super Smash Bros. series really comes to mind here, but since there are more Pokemon cameos than in just the games, I wish to share an instance where Pokemon (or something related to Pokemon) is a cameo.

While reading a local newspaper from last Saturday, there was a baseball comic with a Pokemon cameo (where a kid playing baseball was making a reference to the baseball being like a PokeBall).

So anyway guys, just wondering if anyone here is aware of any other Pokemon cameos in other media, excluding the ones I mentioned above?

TBH I think thats more to do with the fact that Swellow was designed very closely on an Actual Swallow just bigger.

I remember years ago, The Birmingham News dedicated almost a whole section to Pokemon back around the time of Pokemon: The First Movie. Think it was the kids' section or the entertainment section but it was still major. The whole front page had the 151 Pokemon of the first generation. It even advertised an actual college course at UAB for learning how to play Pokemon. I checked; it was legit.
