Just something to do for fun. I've seen threads with "favorite pokemon" and "favorite type", so let's do one with both. I've listed all of the types (copy and paste if you want) and my personal faves of each. Dual-types count but try not to re-use them on multiple types. Have fun!

Bug- Shedinja. I've never really liked any bug Pokemon (I mean, I liked Butterfree from the anime, but that's about it). Shedinja wins simply for being the most unique Pokemon of all. Its stats, its ability, how you acquire it... All very odd, and all very cool.

Dark- Umbreon. When gen 2 was first announced, I remember this being the first Pokemon I was excited about. I first saw a picture of it before I was even aware the dark type existed, so I assumed it was a grass-type Eeveelution (I'd have to wait for Leafeon to ever see such a thing!) that you'd acquire through use of the Leaf Stone, while Espeon would be the result of a Moon Stone. Umbreon's a cool-looking beast, and I wouldn't mind trying to use one again, now that I don't suck as bad as I did back in 2000 with movesets.

Dragon- Dragonite. The original and still the best: the Dragonite on my Blue team was easily the strongest of my Pokemon, and I've always liked dragons, so I took an immediate liking to 'nite. It was cool using the only dragon line there was back in the day.

Electric- Raichu. Yup, I continue my run of boring predictable answers with Raichu. Its defences blew, so it was easy to take down, but it just looked so AWESOME! It was badass Pikachu, and in every iteration, it's always been represented as cocky and arrogant. I likes me some Raichu.

Fighting- Breloom. This guy kicks all sorts of ass, and come on: Spore? It looks cool and it's fun to use. A very close second place goes to Mienshao, who has also been awesome fun to use in a pseudo-Trapbat role.

Fire- Vulpix. I don't care what you say, it's damned cool.

Flying- First off, I had no idea there was finally a pure flying Pokemon in Tornadus. That's awesome. Anyhow, my favourite would be Swellow. I've stated before how great it is at taking enemies down it really shouldn't be able to.

Ghost- Mismagius and its incredible ability to take its enemies to hell with it.

Grass- Venusaur. Still. Always.

Ground- Nidoqueen. So many uses.

Ice- You know what? I don't particularly like any of them. Ice-type Rotom wins for being a goddamn refrigerator.

Normal- Way to many to really give an accurate answer, so I'll just go with Sawsbuck. Love that sap-sucker.

Poison- As I'm trying not to double up here (winner: Venusaur!), I'll go down the route of Skuntank. I love the random absurdity of a fire-breathing, exploding skunk. I might end up using one at some point...

Psychic- Grumpig! Psychic fat pig fun. I don't really remember what attacks mine had in Ruby, but it was still pretty cool.

Rock- Aggron. What a hideous metallic creature it is. Plus, it taught me that giving Fire Blast to a Pokemon with a special attack stat of 60 is not really a good idea.

Steel- Jirachi, who would also be my second favourite of the legendary sprite thingies behind Mew.

Water- Vaporeon and its bucketloads of HP plus Acid Armour and Rest. Yes, I noticed that my reasons became crappier as time went on, but it grew tiresome.
