4 vs. 4 (one out at a time)
I choose first.
YOu attack first.
Banned moves: Rest, Attract, Perish song, and Destiny Bond
Arena: The Wolf’s Paw arena: Located in the middle of a grassy field is the arena in the shape of a Wolf’s Paw Print. The heel of the paw is filled with tall grass and trees. The first toe is a mixture of sand and dirt. The second toe is made up of ice. The third toe is water and the fourth is lava. Each of the claws is a small rock formation but the first one has a cave. This is den of the local wolf pack. There are three of them the Alpha (White) Beta (black) and Omega (silver). Most of the time they will leave you alone. This changes if you disturb them too much. Then one of them will come down and attack. For example, an occasional earthquake while might irritate them but they’ll let it slide. However constant use may cause one of them come down and attack for 5 hp damage. However, for every five rounds there is a small chance (5%) that the wolves might give a blessing. If the Omega appears (75% of that 5%) all pokemon on the field regain 10 energy points. If the Beta appears (24% of the 5%) all pokemon on the field gain 10 Health points. If the alpha appears (1% chance of the 5%) all pokemon gain both 10 health points and 10 energy points.

DQ: 1 week

I'll send out Bambi my male Deerling with Sap sipper.

Any takers?

Looks and sounds interesting. I want to try some 5 Gen Pokemon too, so my first Pokemon'll be Miru, my female Gothita with Frisk Ability. And Miru's first moves:

Taking advantage of your Frisk Ability, sneak behind Bambi and use Doubleslap!
Next, Double Team to avoid the possible upcoming attacks.
Finally, something special, Psychic!

Bambi, start with leech seed. Follow that up with Nature power. Finally finish with Faint Attack.

‡ Round 1 ‡

Good day, ladies and gents, and welcome to the Wolf’s Paw! Here, amidst many a blade of tall grass surrounded by interesting elemental formations, an exciting fray will take place between Wolfsong and Mikachu. Golly, it's been a while since I've reffed here. Our two eager competitors waste no time in making their selections: Wolfsong sends out a chipper deerthing while Mikachu goes for a wee little Betty Boop wannabe. Let’s get things started!

Miru kicks things off by waddling through the grass toward Bambi and kicking the Deerling in the leg. Yes, right in the leg! Who does that? Bambi, a little irked at the gall of this midget, spits out a teensy-tiny seed that lands squarely atop Miru’s head. Miru, oblivious, then bounces atop Bambi as though riding a horse and starts slapping her opponent in the back of the head! This thing fights dirty!

Bambi: <-8 HP; -5 HP from Frisk; -4 EP>
Miru: <-6 EP; LSd>

Bambi closes his eyes and summons the strength of his surroundings. Suddenly, he unleashes a torrent of leaves that knock the little Gothita clear off his back while cutting her up nicely. Miru blows Bambi a raspberry and does a little hop and spin. Three clones branch off from her and, in unison, the four of them blow Bambi another raspberry. The Deerling begins pawing the ground in aggression.

Bambi: <-4 EP>
Miru: <-8 HP; -4 EP; 3 clones>

Darkness surrounds Bambi’s frame as he goes in for the strike. Suddenly, the Deerling vanishes and Miru and her clones share looks of confusion. Bambi then materializes behind the real Miru and lashes out at her with Dark-type energy. Miru takes the hit and tumbles into a knot of weeds, causing her clones to vanish unexpectedly. Oh-ho, you’ve done it now, Bambi. Miru leaps out the grass with a red glow enveloping her. She telekinetically hoists Bambi into the air and thrusts him into the trunk of a tree twenty feet off. Miru sticks out her tongue one last time.

Bambi: <-11 HP; -4 EP>
Miru: <-9 HP; -7 EP; 0 clones>

The Leech Seed drains a little health from Miru <-3 HP> and uses it to replenish Bambi <+3 HP>.

‡ Round 2 ‡

As the next round begins, Bambi throws up a pale energy veil that drifts down around his body and envelops him whole. In retaliation, Miru hoists up Bambi and chucks her as far as she possibly can. Bambi touches down on the second claw and scrambles like mad to stay upright on the slipper surface. Miru sets off through the tall grasses toward her foe.

Bambi: <-11 HP; -4 EP; Sgd>
Miru: <-7 EP>

Bambi peers around the barren plain of ice for Miru. Eventually, the little Gothita bounces upon the slippery surface and suffers similar difficulties trying not to fall on her ass. Bambi closes her eyes and draws upon the natural energy radiated from her surroundings to summon a terrific icy gale. The flecks of ice bother Miru greatly as she’s forced to hug herself for warmth. She closes her eyes and diverts all her energy toward concentration, envisioning a moment in the future when she will perhaps not be so friggin’ chilly.

Bambi: <-4 EP>
Miru: <-6 HP; -8 EP; -1 Spd>

Suddenly, Bambi vanishes on the spot. Miru blinks. Yup, she’s seen this before! In a panic, the pint-sized Psychic erects a gleaming silver energy shield behind which she hides, tremulous. Bambi reappears out of thin air and strikes with black energy, but the Reflect manages to eat up a hefty chunk of the attack. Miru breathes a sigh of relief.

Bambi: <-4 EP>
Miru: <-5 HP; -4 EP; Rft>

The Leech Seed does its thang. Miru grimaces as she's sapped <-3 HP> but Bambi doesn't seem to be complaining <+3 HP>.

Without warning, Bambi’s yellow flower begins crackling with electric current. Er… Deerling gets Thunder Wave? Huh. Well, anyway, he unleashes the electric strike and zaps up Miru something nasty. Her body goes rigid as the Paralysis sets in, limiting her movement. Damn it.

Bambi: <-4 EP>
Miru: <Par; Can’t move!>

All of a sudden, Bambi’s eyes go wide and begin brimming with tears. What happened, Bambi? Has a hunter shot your mother? Miru gets all choked up by her opponent’s display of emotion and lets her guard down. However, she manages to cut loose with a crackling Thunderbolt that only does minor damage against the Deerling.

Suddenly, all goes silent but for a distant humming. The humming grows until a blast of Psychic energy materializes and strikes Bambi, causing her to fall to the ice. Miru finds this very, very funny.

Bambi: <-17 HP; -4 EP>
Miru: <-8 EP; -2 SpD>

Suddenly, Bambi’s eyes go as cold and empty as the desolate wasteland of ice around us as her unleashes a swirling ball of shadows at Miru. She goes spinning down the rink and pulls it together for one more Psychic assault, hoisting up Bambi into the air and letting her drop to the ice below. She giggles.

Bambi: <-11 HP; -6 EP>
Miru: <-16 HP; -7 EP>

The Leech Seed saps Miru further <-3 HP> as it bestows health upon Bambi <+3 HP>.

‡ Round 4 ‡

As the next round begins, Bambi launches another swirling ball of shadows at Miru. This sheer force of the attack knocks Miru clear off the ice and into the short grass at the rink’s edge. Bambi follows, but the little Gothita is waiting: she lashes out with a series of physical strikes made stronger by her status.

Bambi: <-14 HP; -6 EP>
Miru: <-16 HP; -5 EP>

Now that we’re back on Bambi’s turf, the Deerling spews out a massive ball of green light. It knocks Miru onto her bottom but seems to bear a secondary effect as the little Fixation Pokemon feels her Special Defence dip even further. Oi. In retaliation, Miru picks up a stray rock on the ground using Psychic energy and starts bashing Bambi over the head with it violently.

Bambi: <-11 HP; -6 EP>
Miru: <-14 HP; -7 EP>

Iiit’s Shadow Ball time! Another black sphere zips through the air and punishes Miru further. The little pint-sized fighter breaks out into heavy, wracking sobs. Golly, I’m starting to think she doesn’t much care for Shadow Ball time at all. She takes one step toward Bambi but finds her muscles locking up as Paralysis does what it does best.

Bambi: <-6 EP>
Miru: <-18 HP; Can’t move!>

Miru suffers from the Leech Seed <-3 HP> and, like usual, Bambi benefits <+3 HP>.

Mikachu recalls poor Miru and summons a new battler into the fray: a wily unspecialized fighter. The untouched Hitmontop begins with a rapid physical strike, diving into Bambi with great Speed. The Deerling seems relatively unfazed by that minor hit and simply lets off a blinding Flash of natural light. Jake blinks uncontrollably. Ahh, where did everybody go?

Bambi: <-6 HP; -2 EP>
Jake: <-2 EP; -1 Acc>

Bambi wastes no time in letting Jake have it with the next move. He spews out another sparkling green ball of natural plant energy and knocks Jake off his feet with it, but this spirited fighter seems to really only hit his stride when he’s not on two legs. Spinning like a top, Jake speeds forward at an angle and uses his outstretched legs to trip up Bambi. Since he’s a natural-born Technician, he’s able to find a way to make the move sting a little more. Bambi tumbles, hitting the ground hard. She struggles to get back up and eventually slumps over, defeated.

Jake grimaces. Oh, it’s on, bitch. He closes his eyes and, shaking slightly, begins to hone his focus. Meanwhile, Ivy decides to give Jake a lesson on how Aerial Aces really go. She does a quick airborne spin and comes slamming down upon Jake, who tumbles to the ground.

Ivy now leaps into the air and does a cool spin, coming down hard with a wicked aerial strike. The poor Fighting-type suffers hard from this attack especially with Ivy’s new boost. He tries to retaliate with a powerful physical strike, but he misses entirely. Damn you, Accuracy modifier! Damn you!

Ivy: <-4 EP>
Jake: <-11 HP; -7 EP>

Raising her arm menacingly, Ivy brings it down with a mighty slash. The Leaf Blade leaves a rather painful red gouge across the Hitmontop’s face, but he powers through and delivers not one but three kicks. Fortunately for him, he lands a critical hit and launches Ivy way up into the air. She lands in the pool of water with a splash and stomps out, looking both severely waterlogged and livid.

The next round kicks off as Jake does a lap of the pond, increasing his Speed greatly. Ivy retaliates by summoning a whirling tornado of jagged, pointed leaves to do her bidding. The leaves slice into Jake, giving the little Hitmontop something to gripe about.

Speeding forth, Jake deliver a walloping Triple Kick right to Ivy’s gut. Once again it's a critical hit and she’s again launched into the shallows and, deciding that she doesn’t want to have to suffer too many more powerful physical strikes, she erects a silver barrier to ward her from damage.

Ivy: <-9 HP; -4 EP; Rft>

Suddenly, the two fighters exchange Aerial Aces. They leap into the air in unison and dive at one another Crouching Tiger-style. They then land and Jake swiftly winces, having taken significantly more damage. He grumbles. Stupid Defence stat. Stupid Reflect.

‡ Round 10 ‡

Despite trailing Ivy by a relatively significant amount, Jake nonetheless stays strong—so strong, in fact, that his entire body momentarily turns into stone. He leaps toward Ivy, pinning her beneath his rocky bulk and scoring a critical hit. That would be stupendous if it weren’t for that pesky Reflect filtering out a hefty portion of the damage. Ivy, who doesn’t really enjoy being weighed down by rocky Hitmontops, summons a Leaf Tornado to blow Jake off of her while cutting him up at the same time. He flickers back to his regular non-stone self before getting dumped into the water by the gust of wind. His Accuracy takes another hit.

Trudging out of the water with a frown on his face, Jake tries to engage in Close Combat with Ivy but misses and instead pummels the ground instead. Snickering, Ivy merely wraps herself into a tight Coil and receives some happy stat rewards as a result.

As the next round gets underway, Jake kicks things off with another Aerial Ace. Though the move is advantageous in terms of its typing, it certainly is not advantageous when you take Ivy’s excellent Defence and convenient Reflect into account. As a result, Ivy is nonplussed as she commands tiny shoots to wriggle up through the soil and latch onto Jake. They give a tug and yank him down to the ground. At this rate, Jake, you are not long for this world.

Poor Jake’s next attack suffers the same problems as his Aerial Ace… and doesn’t even manage to score a crit, either! Garbage! Ivy ignores the kick and gives another airborne strike a go. Ivy suddenly releases a bout of Hidden Power from some secret reserve deep within her. However, as the sparkling purple energy whizzes toward him, Heviva does a midair spin. Heviva suddenly swoops in close and raises her steely wings in an X-formation. She then lashes out at the Snivy, causing her to stumble backward. Though the move is super-effective, Ivy's Defence manages to make up for that a little. Now, which one of those birds was the one that actually delivered the attack? Unsure, Ivy strikes one at random with a series of physical blows and strikes. Unfortunately for the Grass Snake Pokemon, the attack once again eats nothing but clone.

Suddenly, a sparkling green corona surrounds Ivy as her ability activates.

As the thirteenth round begins, Heviva swoops down alongside heisclone toward Ivy. He snatches up the Snivy in her mighty talons and starts flying skyward. He soars toward the small rock formation just north of the toe-shaped pond. Ivy struggles, trying to use Magical Leaf (or, better yet, break free), but after she reaches a high enough altitude she simply stops. Yeah, best not get dropped from this height…

Ivy: <Can’t move!>
Heviva: <1 clone>

Then, of course, the exact last thing Ivy wants to happen does happen. Heviva simply lets go, causing Ivy to tumble downward and land hard on the rocks below. Ouch! Grimacing, Ivy pulls herself and makes sure she has a good footing before a pink glow surrounds her. However, given the circumstances, the move does nothing. Heviva starts giggling.

Ivy: <-9 HP; -7 EP>

Smirking, Heviva swoops down closer to the ground and kicks up a mighty windstorm. The storm suddenly kicks up sharpened blades of air which whip toward Ivy, slicing up the Grass-type nicely. ‡ Round 20 ‡

With Heviva now out of commission, Mikachu sends out his final Pokemon, a cute little mirror that peers at its opponent without expression. Yelina starts by trying to screw with Brooh, unleashing a pulsating light that is sure to confuse. Brooh tries to throw up a Safeguard around itself to ward off the Confuse Ray, but the little Bronzor simply can’t compete with Yelina’s stellar Speed. The Confuse Ray strikes, addling Brooh’s brain, and the little blue disc proceeds to bash its face against the ground. Yikes.

Yelina Salas: <-4 EP>
Brooh: <Con; -3 HP from Confusion>

Knowing that she’s not long for this world, Yelina throws her full body forth in a flaming tackle. Brooh skids backwards in the dirt, grimacing against the searing pain, before trying once more to battle past the limits of its addled brain. This time Brooh is met with success: the Bronzor commands a veritable waterfall of rocks to tumble downward upon the Lampent and trap the spook within a tomb. It proves to be the Ghost’s final resting place as she does not reappear. After a long fight, it’s time for Yelina to rest in peace.

‡ Round 21 ‡

The twenty-first round begins as Wolfsong summons a scuttling crustacean-ish thing into battle. It gnashes its jaws aggressively as Brooh, still a little messed up in the head, tries to establish a mental connection with this newcomer. However, since McGee has no stat modifications, the attack succeeds in doing nothing at all. Snickering, Wolfsong’s Trapinch fires off a shimmering beam of pure brown energy. The Earth Power collides with Brooh, dealing some pretty serious damage.

McGee: <-8 EP>
Brooh: <-17 HP; -3 HP from Confusion>

All of a sudden, Brooh’s world seems to be crystal clear again. The Bronzor throws itself forward as an act of aggression, hoping to use his heavy frame to deal some serious damage. However, McGee cunningly zips out of the attack’s path using a Faint Attack. He reappears behind Brooh and lashes out with some Dark energy. Brooh lets out a shrieking cry.

Things are definitely not looking good for poor Brooh, whose health has dipped beneath the 50% mark. McGee, on the other hand, without a scratch on him, kicks up a concentrated blast of mud. The Mud Shot strikes Brooh right in the face (well, where else is it gonna hit) and encumbers the Bronzor’s physical maneuverability. However, Brooh does not throw in the towel just yet and responds by locking gazes with McGee. Eyes glowing red, Brooh lulls its foe into a deep sleep. McGee curls up in a ball and begins snoozin’.

McGee: <-4 EP; Slp>

Brooh now forges a mental connection with its slumbering opponent. McGee begins whimpering as Brooh begins to gobble down all of McGee’s tasty dreams, leaving only the haunting nightmares behind. Brooh’s ailing health takes a turn for the better as the Bronzor finds a way to sustain itself on these mental images.

McGee: <-12 HP>
