Sorry I've been gone. Got my laptop back this weekend, after another fight with my parents. This time about my grades. I was carrying a D all semester in Algebra II, and they just now got onto me about it. I told them to relax, since I'd get it up, but they didn't accept that. Got a D on my final and did every single piece of missing homework from all semester in a single night. Ended with a C and 3.42 GPA overall after the steady 3.0 exact. Boom.

Anyhows, we're outside Corvallis, and watched my mom walk for graduation Saturday from Oregon State. I fucking love the school, and this state. Camping at the KOA(I use the term "camping" very loosely as we're renting one of cabins, there's restrooms, showers and a pool). Spent the entire weekend up here, and we're leaving tomorrow morning for the 10-11 hour drive back home. Met some cool people here, but have no way of contacting them again, as I didn't ask for numbers and Facebook. These "what if's" things always kill me a bit on the inside. Got some awesome Beavers gear including orange/black Oregon State flip-flops and an OSU Band polo(from one of the members) at a thrift shop. Bought a "Guitar players can finger better" and "I have the biggest dick in the band" stickers to put on my cases. Might get in a WEE bit of trouble with those, as our director is Christian, and our administrators are all Mormon. Oh, and the fact I'm head Drum Major might make it a bit worse. Thinking I should get a hard case for Stacie(my Ibanez Dreadnought acoustic) and put them on there.

-Oregon has no sales tax, but has income tax. I find that awesome.
-In Oregon it is illegal to make U-turns ANYWHERE, whereas- unless it says otherwise- in Nevada you CAN make one anywhere it is safe to do so. I find that un-awesome.
-Oregon has the lottery, which is awesome. Sounds lame to get excited over that, but here in Nevada we don't, as the casinos don't want competition and won't sponsor it themselves.
-We found a sign in Newport that says "Suppoer your local hookers" with some fish on fishing poles. Found it un-awesome that in Oregon those are the only "hookers" they legally have. Another point for Nevada.

Ugh, it's late, I'm tired and confessing my feelings for some girl from our rival school I have feelings for(even though we haven't met in person yet), and I'm rambling some more. I'm going to bed. Catch y'all later.

Oregon was the first state to decriminalize marijuana (in 1973). Though. I think they only allow for medical marijuana now.

Welcome back!

I want to America!

The only reason marijuana was outlawed in the first place was because the cotton farmers and companies thought it too dangerous to their business, and petitioned it as "bad" and won.

Mikachu: One day! America kinda sucks, though. Better than those damn commies :P

I would so rather have sales tax than income tax. Oh hey whatup Texas?

Also don't "confess your feelings" to someone you've never met, what the hell?

Nevada also has sales instead of income.

Long story. She lives just an hour away, and is visiting her aunt next month who lives seriously 2 or three blocks away. I'm good friends with her cousin and best friend. Ugh, this is only a part of it. I really need to quit rambling Dx

Developing feelings for someone I've never met is how I got my last two girlfriends (this includes the one I'm with right now), and I don't regret it. But still, I might agree with Katie - wait until you've met her in person to decide whether to tell her or not!

It's not like I've dropped the "L word"(not lesbian/s ;D). She knows I like her, I know she likes me.

Yeah never say I love you until you are absolutely sure, because once you say it, there is no going back!! ;D But good luck, sounds cute. And definately meet her first and go on a few dates to make sure you can get along irl :)

I liked my last big crush before even seeing her. Another one-sided love story in my life. Her mother told me the girl liked Pokemon and when she saw me browsing TPM she was about to recommend this forum for her. Then it turned out she liked Digimon more than Pokemon, it's just that they were all the same to her mother. So she didn't join TPM. Summer 2009 was great fun because I got to be near this new crush, play Bomberman and study Japanese with her and her siblings. She even came to my Japanese course but I was hospitalized the following day. The girl would have been too young for me anyway, right now I have no special crush, just some girls I like quite equally.

Mika, do you blog? I think you should. Your words would be the most enthralling and inspiring since Toxicity blessed us with her adventures.

It means you write all the shit in your life that nobody cares about, but on the Internet instead of a diary/journal.

That way EVERYONE can read it. It's basically what led up to our over-usage of social networking and Twitter. Saying that, I'm guilty of being an addict to both.
