Facebook is OK--I have a few people from here on it, as well as my favorite bands on there, etc. Then I began to receive post from those I worked with-- it's crazy 

Well, I dearly enjoy it. Not ALL of it is "pointless", and it's a nice way to keep up on things. I get updates from the local Knitting Factory on newly booked gigs, updates and quotes from friends, and @DeathStarPR and @God_Damn_Batman(which is the only things that really make me smile in my day) all on my phone. Awfully convenient, at least for me.

I don't really know how to appreciate Twitter. I tried using it sometime way back like a year ago but gave it up halfway. It was more of a chore than a hobby. And besides I can't stand the idea of having to stare at my phone or laptop for hours.
