Hey all. Everyone knows a fanfic isn't a fanfic without the characters, and each fanfic I read has a brilliant assortment of characters in criss-cross situations.

Here you can post your cast and go through them, what they're like appearence-wise, character-wise and maybe even love-wise.

Limit of 8, guys, we don't want a HYUGE list of 100 characters from 'Pop Idol - the Fic'

__+--Monica's Revolution--+__

Monica Ward
Monica is a street-smart young girl with Ghost Adeptry at her disposal. She can use her signature attack, Feverize, to form into a wisp of smoke and move in 3 dimensions at will.

She is travelling with Al, Serena and Ray through a continent of Perlei. She is rescuing her close friend Natasha from the clutches of a seemingly lost soul called Dimitri.

Even after finishing a relationship with Al, which had been going on for two years, she still has strong feelings for him.

Serena Blake.
Serena is a clumsy girl, younger than Monica by a year. She is a Storm Sage and can manipulate forces of weather. Her sleet ability, however, is not perfected and can turn nasty. Her Adeptry also allows her to conjur up a solid cloud for transport, cast bolts from her palms and send sparks at her foes.

Serena's motives are the same as Monica's. She has a rash nature, but believes fighting must be for a just cause - fighting for fun is not right.

Her rather staged relationship with Ray has been going on a few weeks, much to the disgust of Monica and Al.

Al Summerford
Al's the oldest in the group - 18. He used to live in Saffron City but moved to live with Monica. Originally not an adept, journeying through Perlei uncovered the truth. Al has dormant elemental energy inside him, and he must journey to Serenity Lake, where a ritual will be performed to unleash his adeptry, which will be Plant and Ground Adeptry.

He doesn't know Nat as well as Monica and Serena, but still cares for her. He finished with Monica after being crushed by the pressure of this rescue mission. Unfortunately, Ray and Serena dating seems to spur Monica on more, and Al finds it agonising to repel her so much.

He is a very bold young man, he is headstrong, but his time in Perlei, absorbed in this amazing world has taught him to be less outspoken than he would normally be.

Ray Gordon

Ray joined the group after his father, Tobias, was kidnapped by the same people that took Nat. Ray isn't rash at all - he always thinks things through before charging in. He has a lot of pride that he hates to see be taken away, which became apparent after a loss in a local Tournament by a weaker opponent.

Ray is dating Serena, despite the fact Al has told him to dump her on many occaisions. He stands tall in his journey to rescue his father, who he developed a close bond with once his mother passed away.

Like Serena, Ray is a Storm Sage from the industrial city of Mekslaff. His power is amplified through his powerful sword, particularly his Cresting Blade.

You get the idea, something like that.

Go nuts!

"Revenge of the Pokemon"

Frap A. Electabuzz("good guy")
Age:27
An Electabuzz that lead a pretty average life untill he was caught for tax evasion and shortly after that was sent upon a possibly suicidal quest to purge a very vicious army of fanatical Poke-haters from the lands of Kanto and Johto. He weilds an impressive aresnal of electric attacks form verious video games.

Theodore A. Nidoking IV("good guy")
Age:31
Theo has had a rather difficult time in his life, being framed for murder and having seen his own father killed at the age of ten. He is a moody, possibly explosive mixture of emotions. He is a firm beliver in keeping combat simple and close-up, those who fight with distance are cowards. It also seems that he has the ability to raise himself from the dead.

Herbert A. Hitmonchan("good guy")
Age:25
This one is a big mystery. No-one knows where he came from, nor do they know what his motives for aiding Frap are. He has a placid disposition and hates to resort to violence unless it is absolutly neccisary.

The Dark Nidoknight("bad guy")
Age:1245
A vile, heartless beast most say. He is cursed with an eternal life in which he can only unleash pain and death upon his foes: psychics. Dwelling in the heavily fortified passes of Mt.Moon, he dreams of burning the nearby city of Pewter to the ground one day and slaying everyone that dwells there. However, despite this desciption, he is a coward; though he only realizes what danger he was in once his foe has fallen. He weilds a powerful longsword dubbed "Psychic eater", if it contacts any psychic's flesh, human or pokemon, it begins to burn at them slowly untill they die.

The Blue Magmar("bad guy")
Age:1234
The Blue Magmar was once an honest, kind being--untill Dark Nidoknight corrupted him. While similar to Dark Nidoknight, he has a more calm disposition and dosen't truly hate anyone--though it would be wise to avoid him.

Bob Smith(The enemy of ALL pokemon life)
Age:Unknown
A massive, 5 meter tall, steel-plated killing machine. It is rumored he is a spiteful trainer from the centuries ago when humans ruled Kanto and Johto and he has returened to take veneance upon ALL pokemon.(Sorta inspired by the last boss on "Fallout 2")

There's more, but I'm too lazy to list them.

Well, even though I just started my story, I guess I can still write down some of my characters for now. I'm also bored, so I need to do something to keep myself typing. :sweat4: Anyways, here it is:

NEW ERA: Darkness in the Light

Jewels

One of the main characters of NEW ERA, Jewels is a twenty year old women with an extreme talent. She is a well known singer in Shizo. Her latin/hip-hop music numbered number five in the music industry in America and Shizo. Her famous song is “Dreaming”.

Current she is taking a break, and living in Western Shizo’s capital Beville. She is living with three nine-year-old children named Gwen, Jack, and Adam. She promised their parents that she will take care of them until they return from their trip.

A very gorgeous, single, no-nonsense, and laid-back women, Jewels finds herself lonely and miserable. Soon enough she finds herself put up to a challenge after the "Main Street Battle". The challenge soon begins her unforgettable adventure.

Jewels’ theme song: Achika’s theme song in “Tenchi the Movie”

Enrique

Another main character in NEW ERA series, Enrique is an Emperor of Northern Shizo, and looks young to be one. His age and heritage is unknown, but all that is known about him is that he looks like he is in his mid/late teens, and lives his life day to day by the schedules.

Normally he takes everything seriously because he lives his life as a leader, but once he finds time to himself, he is a totally different person. He has fun, enjoys life, and even gets into trouble. In NEW ERA Darkness in the Light, when he is out in Beville, he is known as John Luther so he can keep his real identity safe.

His friends and protectors, Honker and Knight, keep him from getting into trouble, and, by all means necessary, even fight by his side. Such thing like that can get him caught, and find himself in deeper trouble because Honker and Knight are legendary creatures.

In the story, Enrique finds himself going up against one of man’s most troubling problems...woman. He is put up against a challenge, and soon enough risk himself just to prove a point. Soon enough he will find himself liking it.

*Other information about Enrique is unknown at this point. His life long story is told by Honker in “Resurrection of the Unknown Past.”

Enrique’s Theme: Southampton (a part of it) in “Titanic”

Miguel and Maroon

Miguel and Maroon are suppose to be the comic relief in NEW ERA series. Constantly they are up each other’s butts, and causing trouble to one another. Usually they don’t get anywhere, and are always stuck to each other. Miguel is always searching for a way to get rid of Maroon, and Maroon is always searching for ways to have Enrique as her own. She usually fails every time Miguel is around.

Miguel is an Ambassador of Northern Shizo as to Maroon is an Ambassador of Eastern Shizo (Empress Rawlly). Both of them have minor roles, but play crucial parts later in the series.

Miguel and Maroon's theme song: "Master of the House" in Les Miserables

Haha, more semi-advertising 4 Hiro!!!!

Characters for teh misadventures of Hiro!!!

Hiro:

Hiro is just a really dumb 12-year-old whose mom went insane and caused him to have to leave home. He then decided for some reason to get Pokémon badges, mostly by stealing and being generally stupid and mean. He doesn't have any special abilities or characteristics, he's just an Average Hiro except for the stupidity bit.

His appearance hasn't really been in the story [and neither have any of the other characters] but I've drawn him [and everyone else] for the HiroMovie that is being made, so: He dresses exactly like Ash from teh show except that the sleeves on his blue shirt are red and his hat [which is always backwards] says "HAT"

Fred:

Fred is Hiro's evil rival. While Hiro is pretty evil [what with the killing and stealing], he pales in comparison[sp?] to Fred, who is a big TeamRocket Phan and is very ruthless and such. He tries to steal Hiro's Pokés and actually steals Hiro's semi-devoted semi-bodyguard Mike for a while, too.

He has the same long reddish hair that he does in the game [gold/silver], and wears only a jean vest and big baggy gangsta jeans. He looks real evil and has fangs.

Mike:

Mike was originally supposed to be a more complex character. He was given to me back when I had lots-o-readers when I had the contest-type thing to get a new character into the story. He originally had a personality and everything, but the only thing I really payed any attention to in the description was that he talks a lot and can get annoying. So in the story, after he talks for a while, Hiro's brain tunes him out and whenever he speaks it comes out as gibberish. It makes the story incredibly easy to write and irritating to read.

Mike looks just like a guy who talks as much as him would. He has teh crazy white albino hair, and really really tiny eyes. His mouth, however, is so huge that when he talks his face splits in half. He is fairly short and wears a blue shirt with black spandex pants.

Blade:

Blade was also given to me later on in another character-grabbing contest at another forums, where this story was immensely popular at the time. Based off the board member's user name [blade-X1], the character description was very short and lacking, so I just kinda gave blade whatever personality I wanted.

Blade dresses all black, and he has some weird white sash-type things around his shoulders. He's got a big sword on his back, and black hair.

PingPong:

PingPong was just a weird semi-replacement for Blade and Mike who I made up myself. His whole reason for being was that Hiro had asked why his bodyguards sucked and were super-goofy freaks. Then as he was talking to PingPong later, he realized what a super-goofy freak he was and hired him. But then it turned out that he was a monk. So read and find out what happens!

Ping pong just looks like your average fat Japanese midget. Nothing special here.

Pikadéx:

The Pikadéx [AKA the Talking Pikachu Pokédex] was the only thing Hiro brought with him when he was forced to leave home. In the original story, it was never really featured until chapters in the mid-late 30's, but then it got an attitude and has become what it is in the new version. It really just kind of doesn't like or agree with Hiro, but hangs around anyway because it needs his head to sit on [reference: Chapter 38, I believe].

The Pikadéx is made out of bright yellow plastic. It has a large circular head with two triangular microphones for ears, a large speaker for a mouth, and two square scanner-type things for eyes. Its body is triangular and has black wheels on the bottom and hooks for hands.

Tog:

Tog is Hiro's togepi that he stole from Mr. Pokémon and named Tog afterwards. It isn't really a huge character yet, Hiro just uses it a lot. And in the newest chapter [41] in the original, he learns to talk, which is why he's here.

Tog looks like a Togepi. I kind of forget what a togepi looks like, so picture it for yourself.

This sounds fun!

Lisa the Legend

Lisa Walters:

Lisa is a 14 year old girl from Ecruteak City. She has black hair that falls down to mid-back length, golden-brown eyes and a determined chin.

Lisa lived in Ecruteak with her family until late October in 2002, when she and her pokemon Aipom accidentally stumbled upon the legendary beast Suicune. Suicune took Lisa to the far south of her hometown and stranded her near Goldenrod, where she made the decision to find out all she could about the Legendary Pokemon, just as she had always wondered. However, strange and unusual events throw her off course. Lisa meets several other trainers and people - Hiro Ferguson, Kristal Williams, Gavin Luper, Anna Diver, Marina Frost, Darius Hudson, Jessica and Andrew Hall, and many others on her journey.

For the record, Lisa's closest friends are Gavin and Marina, and she also has a crush on Darius. She is adventurous, curious, determined and generally fun and easy-going, although she does have a stubborn side. Her pokemon are Aipom, Fiskmire, Vulpix, Dratini and Electabuzz. She also possesses a pair of Crystal Bells given to her by Professor Westwood.

Gavin Luper:

Gavin is 15, almost 16 years old. He has dark brown hair that is short and eternally scruffy; he also has chestnut-brown eyes. A scar, that he received during February 2003, stretches from his mouth up the side of his face, almost to his ear.

Originally from Ecruteak, Gavin moved to Goldenrod alone after his parents and sister all disappeared when he was thirteen. He met Lisa in the Radio Tower in October 2002, and has been travelling with her ever since, excluding a short spell when Lisa went to Shellder Beach, and also when he was kidnapped by several Squad members.

Gavin also possesses telekinetic powers, which he has been unable to utilise since his arrival in Silver City. Gavin's pokemon are Natu, Girafury, Seel and Skarmory; his Lanturn and Staryu are in the possession of Lisa's brother Wesley. He also has a Sacred Ball, given to him by Suicune, but there appears to be nothing in it.

Marina Frost:

Marina is fifteen years old, with bright blue hair that is kept in a ponytail, and bright hazel eyes. She is very fun-loving, always looks on the positive side of things and is quite smart. She pieces ideas together well and spots clues and links much easier than Lisa.

From the overseas province of Tokor, Marina met Lisa in the Whirlpool Cup, where she, Lisa and Gavin all fought for the Championship. Marina won the match, and she and Lisa kept in close contact until they met up again before Christmas.

Marina's pokemon are Mudkip, Tentacraw, Golduck, Starmie, Kingler and Bayleef. She doesn't believe in legendary pokemon, which means Gavin and Lisa have not yet told her the truth.

Darius Hudson:

Darius is the son of Lance Hudson, the famous Elite Four Champion, however he doesn't like the rich, celebrity status he is pushed into. At sixteen, he is the oldest of Lisa's close friends. He first met Lisa while watching Hiro's match against Lance, but he and Lisa have not established contact in months, despite Lisa's feelings for him.

Darius has spiked, black hair and brown eyes. He is quite tall and an excellent public speaker. His pokemon include a Dragonair and a Beedrill.

Anna Diver:

Anna and Lisa had a mild rivalry about their beliefs on legendaries at their first encounter, however, after they worked together to save their pokemon from an icy grave, they became friends. Shortly after the Whirlpool Cup, where Lisa defeated Anna, Anna trekked towards Ecruteak to visit Lisa. However, on her way she stumbled headlong into a Legendary Pokemon Feud between Suicune, Raikou and Entei.

As she had heard too much, Entei sought his revenge that night. Anna was killed by Entei in December 2002. Lisa and Marina have visited her headstone several times to pray since that time.

That's enough for now ... there's too many others to do ...

Cheers!

Heeeeeeeeeeere's Jonny!!

Heard that TPM had changed since my last disappearance. Just thought I'd pop in to add to this thread...

GALAXY WAR (Galaxy War X version bios)

Captain Nondel J. Populas
A skilled pilot, Nondel is also an incredible acrobat with amazing flexibility and lightning-quick reflexes. While he is officially a military operations pilot, he has become a living legend as a tactical/improvisational infiltration expert. Quick with a gun and even quicker with his feet, few hostile creatures who get in his way are left concious or alive. He sports long lockes of flowing emerald green hair, and is always clean-shaven. Being a Xian, he has large black eyes, two nasal slits in place of a nose, bleach-white skin and a set of vampire-like fangs. Nondel relies more on cunning and quickness in combat rather than brute force. Despite his heroic bravery, charisma, and professionalism, Nondel's compassionate side often gets the better of him, sometimes leading him to unwise decisions...

Captain Xslav Incorr
Nondel's partner, Xslav is a war hero from years ago, who's fame has long since faded, leaving him a shade bitter. Xslav lives and breathes combat- his bulky, muscle-bound body proves that. Aside from his incredible strength and stamina, Xslav is also an expert with computer systems, a master programmer and hacker. In fact, his digital genious has allowed him to construct the most advanced supercomputer on his homeplanet X. Xslav himself is gruff and stone-cold serious, even sometimes to the point of being insensitive and cold. He's very quiet and rarely ever speaks or smiles. He hardly ever shaves at all- always sporting a bit of stubble on his chin and jaw. An infiltrations expert as well as Nondel, while Nondel uses speed and wit in a fight, Xslav relies on his raw power and brawn. An explosion from years before has left him partially blinded in his left eye, which is why Nondel gave him a beam saber. Has Xslav put the past behind him and accepted his fate, or is he still hundry for glory...?

Whee! Now a chance to rewrite Minty Thrill's prewritten profiles into a subtler form. Mwahaha!!!

Anthony Jamieson Franklin Morgan Tyler Jones Roger Harry Edward Chambers ~A Minter since Chapter 1
Straight from Burake Town, Anthony 'Tony' Chambers is one messed up lad. He seems indestructible, in how he manages to get in the worst scrapes one can think of, and come out smelling fresh as a daisy. He isn't the sharpest pencil in the box, but somehow he has enough wits (or luck) to make it through each new adventure, with his loyal Pokémon, his shiny orange coat, and his Smeargle tail. Umm, yeah. Smeargle tail.

Leaves ~A Minter since Chapter 2
This Bulb-is-sore is ready to rock! Leaves is a troublemaker, a sly, conniving thief, and he can even say Fushigidane if tempted, which frightens Tony greatly. Leaves is quite the character, and he even travels onfoot as the cliché entitles. He's dandy, and I like him. You should too. Or else he'll steal your wallet.

Marowak ~A Minter since Chapter 3
Ever since his days as a wee Cubone, Marowak has loved one thing more than anything else... dancing! This amiable fellow is a funky jivin' bonedaddy. He's also about the only Pokémon who actually does what Tony says, thereby making him the most over-worked.

Kyle Riddells ~A Minter since Chapter 7
The undefined villain of Minty Thrill, is a young police trainee who's been sent after the 'murderous genius' Tony Chambers. He's a pretty unsociable fellow, but he's tough as nails and he's got a Scizor named Eponine. If that doesn't scare you, nothing will.

James ~A Minter since Chapter 16
James is the midget who lives in Tony's head. And I even have an explanation for it.

...But you'll have to read to find out!! Wow, cheap pop for oneself.

Hey, why not? I've got a few extra minutes.

The Glass Half Full

Kayla

Kayla is what you would call the main character. However, she's not the typical 'gotta catch 'em all' type of pokemon trainer. She was basically forced into pokemon training by her grandmother, and is now trying her best to make her only relative proud. And at the same time, she's slowly learning that she's not a very normal person... at times, she can understand what her pokemon are saying, but those times come and go like the wind it seems...

Shy, nervous, and overly-agreeable are her biggest traits, and faults. At a nice round age of fourteen, she's got lovely sapphire eyes, crimson colored hair, and wears a pair of dark blue overalls with a light pink shirt.

Charmander

Yeah, he doesn't have a nickname. But he doesn't need one! He's Kayla's starter pokemon, and he's also the closest thing Kayla has to a best friend. At times Charmander can be sarcastic and annoyed, and at other times, he can be kind and concerned. He's generally nice and friendly, and tries to make friends with the pokemon he's about to battle. However, they usually don't seem to want to. He's also easily freaked out.

Mr. Cubone

Mr. Cubone is Kayla's nickname for her father's Cubone. An older pokemon, Cubone has been through a lot. Kayla and Charmander are still putting together the pieces of Cubone's past, but they do know that at one time, Cubone was not such a nice person. However, after Kayla's father caught and trained him, Cubone opened up and became the pokemon he is now. Cubone is nice, but he still has his moments of anger, and isn't overly open about his thoughts or feelings. He's also at a very high level of 45! He looks like a regular Cubone, except because of his age and past, he's much larger, and has many cracks in his skull, especially this one large one that makes it look as if he has a unibrow.

Mike

Mike is one of the four trainers that left Pallet on the same day as Ash. He recieved a sleepy Bulbasaur from Prof. Oak, of which he isn't overly happy about. He has a girlfriend named Emily, and he believes that she's beginning to like Gary more than him. Which may or may not be true. Whatever the case, Mike began pokemon training to show Emily that he could be strong. He's a pretty nice person, but often forgets about others, and easily scares when things get tough. Mike's about twelve years old, wears a dark blue t-shirt, has short and fluffy light brown hair and light blue eyes.

Gary Oak

Yeah, Gary's in my fic. He left Pallet the same day that Kayla, Ash, and Mike did, of course. And he's just like he is in the beginning of the anime. Annoying, annoying, and more annoying. He often tangles with Mike about various things, and is annoyed at the fact that Mike competes with him. He recieved a prankster Squirtle that terrorized Kayla when she tried to pick him for her pokemon. Every now and then, he Mike and Kayla meet up with one another by chance. He looks like, well, Gary.

Zephyr and Marilu

They're two in-training members of Team Rocket. They're somewhere in their mid-teens, probably 15 or so, and because they are young, they cannot be full-fledged memebers of Team Rocket. They wear black Tema ROcket uniforms, with dark red R's on them. Marilu has icy-blue eyes, and spiky green ponytailed hair; while Zephyr has cold, lavender eyes and spiky dark purple hair. Their families are two of the rich and infamous families that rule Team Rocket along with Giovanni. All of their brothers, sisters, and parents belong to Team Rocket, and so they are also expected to become good memebers too. However, they both seem to be doing it for different reasons. Marilu is in it for the prestige and power that come with it; while Zephyr wants only to please his parents and earn their respect. Marilu's star pokemon is a Jolteon, and Zephyr's is a Chikorita, and they both have very different ideas of how to train them; which will make all the difference later on in the story.

I guess I can do more MR ones.

Natasha (Nat) Russel

Nat joined Monica in the original fanfic, Monica's Army. She was a warrior found in a large forest, who bonded with Lee, Monica's companion. Unknown to anybody in the Army, Nat and Lee's meeting sparked an ancient magic between them. The two had a bond. If the two could be silent about how they met, each would be rewarded greatly - their friendship would develop to even more, so much more they would feel closer than Brother and Sister.

However, Lee deserted the Army one stormy night, and since then Nat hasn't really been the same. She is much less trustworthy and siphoned her rage through her sword skills.

In Monica's Army, however, Nat was kidnapped by someone under the orders of Dimitri, a strange Adept with unbelieveable powers. Now, however, Nat understands why she was kidnapped, and while Monica and her friends travel Perlei to rescue their friend, Nat's arguing weather she should ever leave her prison...

Lee Hebditch

15-year old Lee is quite the bookworm. Once a quiet, calm member of the Army Monica founded long ago, he has changed dramatically. He began training under the supervision of Mortimer, a strong Ghost Adept and Antagonist to the Army.

The past 8 Months with Mortimer have taught Lee a lot. His Unicorn Rod has been thrown away and he now fights with a new weapon - the Enchanted Nunchucks are vicious in combat.

Monica doesn't realise that Mortimer and Lee are in Perlei, and that she may have to confront them in some time, but when the time comes, how will she react?

Gee, this sounds like fun. I'll start with my Pokemon fic:

POKEMONESE

Ishmael Conrad Named after the narrator of Melville's epic Moby Dick (his father has a thing for literature), Ishmael is a thirteen-year-old trainer with a special gift - Pokemonese. It doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes, when he listens just right and at just the right time, he can understand the language of pokemon as if it were perfectly clear. The language of his own pokemon are clearer than most. He's determined to make a name for himself in the pokemon world, as all trainers are, but it seems that events in his family history are conspiring to make it hard for him.
Ishmael currently owns the following pokemon: Vulpix (his starter), Mightyena, Bulbasaur, Manectric, Machoke, Kirila, Geodude, Marill, and Duskull (all evolved forms were captured in their first forms). While he caught some of them, others joined him willingly. (Note that this lineup is soon likely to grow.) He currently has three Badges out of the ten required for the Toreen Pokemon Championship Tournament.

Lisa LeBaron: A fifteen year old girl who fancies herself a pokemon researcher, Lisa met Ishmael soon after he made his first capture and has been his constant companion since. Her reasons for following him are unclear, but perhaps she has a slight crush on him. Lisa knows much about the science of pokemon, and likes to refer to them by their scientific names. Her goal in life is to meet, study, and possibly capture the time traveling legend Celebi - the thrill of owning a pokemon who can shatter the established laws of physics so easily would be a dream come true for the young student.
Lisa is known to own the following pokemon: Shuppet, Ponyta, Sudowoodo, and Poliwhirl, and may have others.

Ophelia Conrad: The twenty-two year old Ophelia is Ishmael's older sister, and like him, she possesses Pokemonese. She is the Gym Leader of Blueberry Cove, and her Gym is for serious trainers only - six additional Badges are required to challenge it. The nature of her Gym is a closely guarded secret that she will not share with anyone, not even her brother; indeed, many folks are intimidated by the mention of her name.
Regardless, Ophelia has supported her brother for a long time, and it was she who sponsered his application to become a trainer himself. Both of them eagerly await the day when they are able to come face-to-face in Blueberry Cove - but what the outcome will be, neither likely knows.
Ophelia is known to own a Chikorita, Typhlosion, Heracross, and Dusclops, but undoubtably has dozens more pokemon.

Celeste: Since the day they met, Ishmael and this sixteen-year-old girl have been at odds. A young crook who's speant time in juvie at least once (and would be there again if not for Kadabra), Celeste stole her starter from Nurse Joy's distributing center; Ishmael witnessed the act, and they've been enemies since then. Although Celeste defeated Ishmael in their first battle, he has beaten her every time since then, with each encounter leaving her more bitter. Recently, Ishmael saved Celeste's life when she was attacked by a small army of Ghost pokemon, and it remains to be seen if that encounter will change her for the better.
Celeste has the following pokemon, and may have others: Kirila (her starter), Hariyama, Pinsir, Nosepass, Carvanha, and Cyndaquil.

Fortunado Faustus: A businessman in Blueberry Cove, most think that the mask-wearing Faustus is merely eccentric. Few know the truth - he is the madman who leads Team Chaos, a criminal organization devoted to overthowing the establishment and promoting anarchy. He despises Ophelia for two reasons - one, she handed him a humiliating defeat during the Intercontinental Pokemon Championship Tournament six years ago, and two, she was granted the position of Blueberry Cove Gym Leader, a job he feels he should have had (his application to start a Gym was rejected by the League). The scope of Faustus's plans are only beginning to be revealed, but he has recently unveiled deadly tools known as the Pokedroids, android assassins who's powers mimic those of pokemon.
In addition to Kadabra, Faustus is known to own a Golem, and obviously owns many more pokemon.

Bonnie and Clyde: Two young members of Team Chaos whom Faustus has sent to keep an eye on Ishmael and basically make his life miserable. They are loyal to Faustus, but hate working with his prized pokemon Kadabra, who is quick to punish them for stepping out of line in the slightest. Both are cruel sadists, who would willingly kill a pokemon if ordered to.
Bonnie owns a Roselia, Geodude, Krabby, and at least three other pokemon. Clyde owns a Cubone, Whismur, Grimer, and at least three other pokemon.

Kadabra: A pokemon belonging to Faustus, Kadabra is as evil as is master. Possessing the rare ability to mentally communicate with humans, Kadabra nonetheless despises humans (except Faustus), and even most other pokemon. He hates Dark pokemon most of all; he gives several reasons for this, but the reason he would never admit to (which is likely the truth) is that he is scared of them, as his Psychic powers cannot harm them. In fact, he was responsible for the murder of a female Poochyena who was the mate of the Mightyena who was Ishmael's first capture. The fact that this pokemon is in Ishmael's party - and Kadabra has been charged with spying on Ishmael - makes him ever cautious about confronting the young trainer. Kadabra is loyal to Faustus, but not blindly loyal - he objects to the use of the Pokedroids, whom he sees as ugly imitations of true pokemon.

The Pokedroids: Possessing human-like intelligence, near sentience, and high-tech weaponry designed to mimic the powers of pokemon, these androids created by Faustus are sadistic creatures designed for one purpose - to kill. Ishmael and Lisa have since had one encounter with these monsters, and though they destroyed them, they have the scars to prove that they are a dire threat. Although the Pokedroids consider themselves superior to any pokemon, Ishmael believes them soulless constructs that could not be any more anti-pokemon - which is likely the only thing he and Kadabra agree on.

Nurse Joy (Opal Ridge): Few can tell one Joy from another, but the Joy of Opal Ridge has a special task. Not only does she heal and treat pokemon, she registers young trainers and provides them with starter pokemon, using a carefully designed test to match the trainer with a perfect starter. Her Center also cares for her sponsered trainer's pokemon (including Ishmael's) when they are not being used in their active parties. Other than that, she is much like the rest of her family: dedicated, caring, and devoted.

Gestalt: Though he has not yet truly appeared in the story, the impact the being known as Gestalt has made on Ishmael's life is significant. Before Ophelia was born, a group of scientists embarked on a blasphemous experiment to create the ultimate pokemon, using a method similar to that which created Mewtwo. Using DNA from dozens of pokemon of all seventeen types, they used primitive gene-splicing techniques to create a "gestalt" a creature where the whole was greater than the sum of its parts. However, Gestalt's creators were cruel, treating him like a caged lab animal. The only one who was ever kind to him was Ishmael's mother, a young lab assistant who had taken the job simply because it paid well, never knowing the evil intent of her employees. Her pleas to stop the mistreatment fell on deaf ears, and finally, Gestalt broke free with a murderous rage. Only Ishmael's mother was spared his wrath.
Ishmael is certain that the day he broke free, something that Gestalt did to his mother is what resulted in his and Ophelia's Pokemonese. Wherever Gestalt is now, none can say. Some say he can assume the form of any pokemon whose DNA he shares, and that appearances of an apparently weak pokemon that cannot be caught is certainly an appearance of Gestalt. It seems certain that he and Ishmael might one day meet - whether as friend or foe, none can say.

Phew! I'll do my second one later.

Dark Sage

Okay, here's one for my other fanfic. Note that this one is a sequel to an earlier one, and probably the second in a trilogy:

YU-GI-OH JUNIOR: CITY OF SOULS

Yugi Muto Jr.: The son of the great Yugi Muto, he is a duelist of great skill who has taken on the duty his father undertook years ago. (Many readers have made a logical assumption as to who his mother is, which I will neither confirm or deny.) His deck contains many of his fathers favorite cards - Summoned Skull, Gaia the Fierce Knight, Buster Blader, and naturally the Dark Magician - but also pack a few surprises of his own.
In the original fanfic, Yugi was invited to a grand tournament thrown by Anastasia Pegasus, the daughter of his fathers old foe. He suspected all along that the tournament was a trap, but he never dreamed the lengths Anastasia had taken to enact a mad plan of revenge. Defeating her was not the end - once he learned the ghastly fate that was waiting for her deceased soul, he had to defeat Death himself so that she might be spared complete oblivion. Once that was over, the Pale Horseman promised that Yugi would never again have to fear an attack from any surviving member of Anastasia's family or their employees.
But the Muto family had other enemies... and when Yugi went to New York City for the big Duel Monsters convention, he found himself and his friends trapped in a deadly City of Souls, where the self-proclaimed heir of his father's greatest foe sought to destroy them. Armed with their cards and their Heart Yugi and his allies are New York's only chance for salvation...
I have left Yugi's appearance to the imaginations of the readers, but rest assured... I do not picture him with his dad's hairstyle.

Yami: Usually called "The Spirit of the Puzzle" or just "The Spirit" in this series, Yami has bonded with Yugi Muto Jr. just as he did with the senior Yugi years ago. He first awoke after a long hibernation in the first fanfic after sensing a strong evil emmitting from Anastasia. In the first fanfic, he guided Yugi through the hardest battles, helping him win just as he did with his father.
Now that danger lurks around every corner, Yami does his best to protect Yugi and his friends in ways he never could before. He has even transferred himself to another's mind to prevent tragedy. And new challenges may be ahead for the ancient King of Games.

Mary Wheeler: It seems that fate has decided that the offspring of Yugi Muto and that of his best friend shall remain as close as they were. The daughter of Joseph Wheeler (no longer named Joey) the pigtailed, rosy-cheeked Mary is the apple of her father's eye, and a champion duelist herself. Her own deck has many of her dads favorite cards, including the Flame Swordsman, Time Wizard, and Red Eyes Black Dragon, but she has worked hard to establish herself as an independent duelist.
In the original fanfic, Mary was another guest at the tournament, and she did well until the finals, where she was defeated in the first round by Jade. However, she was instrumental in helping Yugi escape Anastasia's mad trap.
Now in the City of Souls, Mary must fight for her own life as well as Yugi's. Their foe has made the mistake of underestimating her, but he'll likely take aim at her again... a soul so pure and innocent is a great temptation.

Clive Marris: A schoolmate of Yugi's, he was little more than a supporter of him in the original fanfic. But Anastasia's tournament inspired him to become a duelist himself. His deck is composed mainly of Dark Warriors, and he espescially loves his full set of Dark Scorpion Gang cards - to him, the Dark Scorpions represent a team as unshakable as the team he and his friends make.
In the City of Souls, Clive faces a challenge unlike any other. An ameteur at dueling, he must push himself hard if he is to survive.

Peter Ramset: Another friend of Yugi's, he's a hotshot photographer who accompanied him to Anastasia's tournament in the hopes of shooting the best rolls of film ever. The fact that he was almost enslaved by the evil behind the tournament matters little to him - he went home with plenty of coverage which became a best-selling pictorial book called Masters of Dueling The experience also inspired him to take up the game, and his artistic eye makes him prefer the most vivid of cards - his favorites are the Archfiend monsters.
Now, with no camera, and scenes too terrible to record, the once jovial Peter forces himself to make light of his situation. If he doesn't laugh, he knows he might go mad.

Jade Valentine: Daughter of Mai Valentine, she is as different from her mother as night is to day. She was trained in the Far East in the way of bushido - the Code of the Samurai. Never is she seen without her emerald armor and deadly katana blade, the badge of honor for the sacred warrior. A duelist supreme, her deck contains an eastern theme, which includes the secret rare Light Warrior known as Yamoto the Noble Samurai.
In the original fanfic, Jade was a guest at Anastasia's tournament. She made it to the finals, and finished in second place, losing only to Yugi himself.
This time around, the evil Remi tricked Jade into traveling to New York, and she was soon captured by the Dark Four, and became a slave to his whim, thanks to the power of his terrible Rod. Remi forced her to duel Yugi in a match where one would die; but he failed to count on Jade's willpower, or the resourcefullness of Yugi's friends, who broke the spell and recsued her from certain doom. Remi barely escaped that encounter with his life, and now he fears Jade almost as much as he fears Yugi. Never trifle with the honor of a Samurai. Jade has joined Yugi's crusade, and likely will play a major force in the City's recovery.

Siegfried Kaiba: Nephew of the great Seto Kaiba, Siegfried continues his uncle's legacy, and in his deck carries Seto's three Blue-Eyes White Dragons, the only ones known to exist. In all the years of dueling, Siegfried had never lost - until he met Yugi.
He did so in the first fanfic, where Yugi defeated him twice once in a friendly match, and again in the finals. Siegfried aided him in defeating Anastasia, and after that, vanished from sight.
Before the spell that turned New York into the City of Souls, Siegfried was granted an executive position at Kaiba Corp... but before he could leave for New York, he was kidnapped by the Dark Four, and later used as part of a ploy set by Remi to convince Yugi that Anastasia's soul had been etrnally damned. Yugi saw through the facade, and rescued Siegfried. Now the younger Kaiba has joined Yugi - and given him a powerful card as well.

Remi Farikhof: Not his real name... the name he gives is an anagram which, when rearraged, says "Heir of Marik." Just how Remi can be Marik's heir is unclear, but he does carry the Millennium Rod. He is responsible for imprisoning New York in a dome of Shadow, imprisoning its residents, and creating the City of Souls. From his life sized Castle of Dark Illusions, Remi has orchestrated many plots, forcing Yugi and his friends into duels designed to send the loser into an early grave - why is not known for certain, but he collects the life force of each loser and feeds it to a strange, giant gemstone of utter darkness. Fortunately, the victims thusfar have all been his henchmen, their rotten souls not supplying nearly enough energy.
It is rumored that Remi serves an even greater evil - who this may be, none can tell.

Shadi: The immortal guardian of the Millennium Items, Shadi's role in the City of Souls is as mysterious as he is. He confronted Remi in his Castle, and tried to show him with a Shadow Game of Prophecy that his plans were doomed to failure. Unfortunately, this warning fell upon deaf ears, and Shadi left, warning that their next encounter would not be as pleasant. Exactly how Shadi plans to act next, none can tell.

Cassie Black: A classmate of Yugi's and a duelist of mediocre skill, Cassie had no idea what danger she was in when she found a pretty golden necklace, one which legends called the Millennium Ring. When she arrived in New York for the convention, a struggle with an unknown force started in her head - one which the weak-minded Cassie could not win.
Now, Cassie's soul sleeps endlessly in a far corner of her mind, and the Evil Spirit of the Ring walks in her body, active again after decades of dormancy. The demon's goals are the same - collect all seven Millennium Items, and use them to conquer creation. Twice now, "Cassie" has attacked Yugi and his friends, and twice they have made narrow escapes... the Spirit has sworn that when they go down a third time, they will drown.

The Dark Four: Like the real Marik, Remi uses a small army of Rare Hunters, who act as warriors, assassins, and collectors of rare cards... and the most powerful are the Dark Four, villains so sinister that Remi's other servants are terrified of them (mostly because he uses them to discipline them). These trusted servants possess strange powers and form an unbeatable team. Not much are known about them, but their names are Mantra, Des Fist, Lady Circe, and Void.

Well! That's that! If you like what you see, check it out!

There, a major confrontation was underway, Carly had been locked up for close to three months, and Rose was now going to be incorportated into the scene. After a bit of a pash with Merril, a woman who's still unknown, his betrayal to Carly was public. As a final goodbye, instead of exchanging keys, Phil got a bullet in the face. However, after a bloody shootout which resulted in the deaths of many people and Pokemon, she kind of lost the plot. She was last seen wandering the streets in the rain, a bit nutters.

Pokemon left- A neurotic Torchic.

Merril

She's working for someone, and was a bit of a gobetween for them and Phil, her charge, to whom she lured with wily sexual charms... she's in various chapters, as a woman who's been watching them, often with a latte and mobile in hand. She doesn't like to do the dirty work, but she is more than apt if she needs to.

Pokemon - None.

Mmmm what else? I dunno lols. There are minor characters, and a lot of them, but bugger em.

What the hey. Cast of "Guilty by Design".

MAJOR CHARACTERS

Champ the Hitmonchan:

Our main man, er, 'chan, Champ has a less than ideal life. The young Hitmonchan's life was never easy; he was purchased by Rick as an egg and was trained not long after hatching, the training is abusive, he was forced to evolve early, and was even forced to kill Meowth kittens to desensitize him. Champ is like a child in an adult's body. Over the years of harsh training, Champ became ruthless and intimidating on the outside. But on the inside, he just wants to be loved, and he mistakes any attention from Rick to be good attention, even if it's a violent beating.

Rick the Dick:

His name is actually Anthony, but I didn't feel like looking up a guide to the anime episode the fic was based on, "The Punchy Pokemon". Due to some underlying issues, Rick has a need to always succeed despite being an underachiever himself. He was a wreck after the death of his wife and couldn't hold a job, so he turned to the only other solution: Pokemon Battling. Rick's methods, as mentioned, are harsh and sometimes horrifying, but he takes great pride in Champ's frequent victories (which sometimes end in the opponent's death). Rick is not only oblivious to Champ's desire to be loved, he is also ignorant of his own young daughter's needs.

Rebecca, daughter of the Dick:

With the loss of her mother and the falling apart of her father, Rebecca turned to reading and taking care of her constantly pregnant Meowth, Fae. Despite her young age (currently 14, was 11 at the beginning), she is quite knowledgable on breeding and general Pokemon care, so she is responsible for Champ's maintenance.

MINOR CHARACTERS (though some will become major later on)

Fae the Meowth:

When Champ was still a Tyrogue, Fae acted as a mother to him. But as he grew bigger and stronger and Fae's unborn kittens developed within her, the Meowth became distant to Champ. It was after Champ had evolved and the kittens were born that Fae broke all ties to him. Little did Fae know, this had a big effect on Champ, for now he had no other Pokemon to converse or sleep with.

Boscoe the Hiker:

A hefty mountain man, Boscoe is huge but kind, and is also quite knowledgable on Pokemon. Unlike Rick who battles with seriousness and aggressiveness, Boscoe battles just for fun. He is the trainer of Aya the Hitmonchik.

Aya the Hitmonchik:

Not much is known about this rare, female Hitmon. She's rather spunky and sarcastic and enjoys taunint opponents playfully in battle. But when things heat up, she's a surprisingly powerful fighter. Aya gave Champ the nickname "String Bean" when they first met at the P-1. The nimble fighter was no match for the older, more bloodthirsty Champ when they met up again three years later and Rick challenged Boscoe to a battle. As a note, she will retrun in a future chapter, if I ever continue.

HONORABLE MENTION

Devin the Breeder:

Not much is known about him, just that he breeds rare Pokemon as a profession and he has blue hair. He is oblivious of the way Rick treats Champ, but Rebecca prefers to keep this knowledge to herself. She is currently employed by Devin as an assistant.

Bruce the Hitmonlee:

He was Aya's opponent in her first P-1 match. He's only mentioned because that scene was very cool and fun to write.

Atlas the Poliwrath:

Champ's opponent in his first and only match that day at the P-1; that amphibian beat the poor rookie to a pulp.

Cyclone the Hitmonchan:

After the horrifying kitten-killing ordeal, Rick made Champ participate in illegal underground Pokemon bloodfights. Champ's toughest opponent was this seasoned fighter. Cyclone is a bit of a pyromaniac, his signature move bign Fire Punch. But Champ learning Ice Punch during this battle, and he defeated Cyclone. He's dead now.

Cal the Persian:

After the incident of Rick forcing Champ to kill Rebecca's kittens, the girl began working at the breeder's, her boss being the very man who sold Champ's egg to Rick. Rebecca trained the only surviving kitten and raised her until she evolved into a Persian. Her attempt to show Rick the error of his ways by having the Persian beat Champ in a battle (without harming him) backfired.

Sure, I've got nothing to do. I've got more main characters than this, but some have recently entered the story, so I'm not going to give them away yet.

Major character cast (in order of birthplace): Lune

Forgotten Kingdom born

Lune: Lune is an adolescent Eevee with a lot on his mind for his age. From the start you'll notice that he has many problems. He is a worrier that usually overestimates the seriousness of situations, and as a result tends to put more effort into almost everything that he does, for fear of making a mistake. Nothing save a challenge of his honor, intelligence, or integrity irritates him more than a job undone. It would not be unfair to call him a pessimist, for he rarely sees the better side of things. Despite his many faults, a lot of pokémon like him better than some of the other leaders. Currently he is the Guardian of both the Forgotten Kingdom and the Sacred Kingdom.

Shockwave: Slightly younger than Lune, Shockwave is a fun-loving Pikachu who can never stay still. He frequently finds other things to do, because he tires quickly of doing the same thing often. He experiments a lot with many different things. While Lune is good at a lot of things he does, Shockwave is exceptional. Thinking of him as a prodigy would be no far stretch of the imagination. Shockwave basically does what he wants whenever he feels like it, but he is still a good friend. A former Guardian of the Forgotten Kingdom, Shockwave currently holds no political office because he dislikes the chains of responsibility.

Sacred Kingdom born

Lord Yoruno: To many, this Umbreon is a mere shadow in the background, powerful yet shrouded in mystery. He doesn't open up to anyone that he doesn't trust or respect. Needless to say, those who fall in that category are a very select few. He is arrogant and secretive. It would do him good to be more personal, because although his unquestionable talent and capability is to be admired, his uppity attitude alienates many pokémon. He is a current Guardian of the Sacred Kingdom.

Lady Naien: Like Yoruno, Naien the Houndoom does not befriend any that she does not trust. Although she is slightly more approachable than the Umbreon, even to some of the friends for whom she has less respect face a sort of superior attitude from Naien. She sometimes seems to think that she knows more than the pokémon she is talking to. This change only took place after she came to power, however, making her a living example of the theory that power has adverse effects even on good pokémon. Naien is a current Guardian of the Sacred Kingdom.

Savage Wilderness born

Elbuort: A rather confused Mankey, Elbuort has problems understanding the concept of logic. This trait is common in most pokémon with Savage Wilderness blood. In fact, their three most valued characteristics are Illogic, Stupidity, and Thoughtless Arguments. Elbuort wants a lot of things, and if he doesn't get what he wants, he usually makes a lot of noise. His arguments make no sense, and it is pointless to try to understand him. He contradicts himself often, holds double standards, and fails to realize that many pokémon dislike him because he is difficult to be around. He is argumentative, yet blames this trait and everything else on whoever he happens to be talking to at the moment. Elbuort is a current Guardian of the Savage Wilderness.

Pukcus: He is a manipulative Murkrow with a tongue sharper than his beak. Although he is incapable of presenting logical, coherent arguments, he has much more success as a demagogue than Elbuort does. A lot more pokémon flock toward him, as they like the Murkrow better than the Mankey. His mate is Ebannaw the Murkrow, an annoying Spearow who thinks she is better than she is; but she is not major enough to discuss in her own separate profile. Ironically, Pukcus borrows a lot of his inspiration from Lune. His plan to gain power involves trying to befriend Lune by showering the Eevee with compliments.

Silver Havens born

Élan: A Sneasel who has left the Silver Havens to explore the world outside. Once a Silver Havens pokémon leaves his home, he may never return again; all he can carry as a reminder of his homeland is a single artifact, which varies with each individual. Élan's is a cloaking medallion that allows him, when he wears it, to mentally make invisible anything he wants to within a decent distance. Those that he doesn't know very well will say that Élan has an ego. The Sneasel chooses his real friends carefully but doesn't fail to help others in need. He only fully turns his tongue on pokémon who have earned his dislike. Élan is a current Guardian of the Sacred Kingdom.

Slith Territories born

Karkas the Second: He is an Alakazam with evil intentions of leveling the entire world with weapon technology, leaving behind only traces of the things that he would like to be in his new world. He has an ancient quarrel with the Sacred Kingdom over some sort of war that not many will remember or have even heard of. Karkas wishes to take revenge first and foremost over the Sacred Kingdom. So far, along with his Savage Wilderness adopted brother Ytos the Seviper, Karkas has already murdered Ningai the Nidoqueen, Charisma the Persian, and Senryu the Dragonair. His current project is destroying Lune slowly and painfully, although without the help of the wraith Blackblade, Karkas could never permanently harm the Eevee.

Although this fic is currently not posted on TPM, I guess it wouldn't hurt to post this since it will the the near future :P All the characters in my fic are main characters due to the fact that there is a limited amount of human contact, but these are some of the most important ones.

Purging Peace Main Characters List

Robert
Although his childhood seems a blur, Robert at some point of his life left his hometown of Phenac City blindly to start his Pokemon journey in the Oore region. His journey led him to Pyrite, where he ran out of money and ended up staying there after finding out that there were no Oore gyms. Feeling exiled by humilitation, he began to study in Pyrite to become a Pokemon researcher after having his dreams shattered. He hasn't had the happiest of a life ever since and due to this, he tries to commit suicide. After learning of the wonders of Pokemon, his will to live is restored as he fights for his life in the forbidden forest.

Daniella
Daniella has always lived in Pyrite for her entire life and has only left it for the few Pokemon expeditions that she has had throughout her entire life. Daniella majored in Pokemon health and was to become a Pokemon nurse until she was discriminated against for not being of the Nurse Joy family. Using her newfound skills, although Daniella may not own a Pokemon center, she has still been able to help out sick Pokemon whenever she could. Daniella met up with Robert after enrolling in the Pyrite Institute where she attended to learn more about Pokemon.

Andrew
Although he was born in Pyrite, Andrew's parents moved around a lot due to their jobs and never had a stable household. Since he was often alone, Andrew learned for care for himself and became a great cook. After growing up, he dediced to live his own dream of flying in the skies and became a pilot stationed in Pyrite. On one of his trips, Andrew was the pilot of one of the expeditions Robert and Daniella were sent on to learn of the healing properties of a legendary lake. During this flight, the plane was attacked by a seemingly heartless Fearow which resulted in a crash landing.

Bulbasaur
Born and raised in the Forbidden Forest, Bulbasaur is one of the few Pokemon who has managed to escape the dark powers of the Pokemon Hierarchy. Ever since he was little, Bulbasaur was best friends with a fellow Meowth and Torkoal who ended up forming a paper-creating factory, but that will be explained a little bit later. Although it doesn't even know what the term art means, Bulbasaur has always loved to create pieces of art using its vines and leaves to create statues and drawing. bulbasaur can also use its drawing abilities to act as a translator, showing Robert what other Pokemon are trying to say through quick sketches.

Meowth
The oldest of the paper-making trio, Meowth wasn't always living inside of the Forbidden Forest. Meowth was born near Fuschia City in the Kanto region, where he was taken as a kitten and taken to the Oore region where he was being tested by Team Shadow members. Throughout his journey, Meowth had developed the hobby of creating origami figures and is always enthusiastic about creating some of his own. After being turned into a Shadow Pokemon, Meowth was set free into the Forbidden Forest with the other stash of Shadow Pokemon of the Pokemon Hierarchy led by a vicious Exploud. After finding a true friendship in Torkoal and Bulbasaur, Meowth was snapped out of the spell Team Shadow had laid on him and started the paper-making factory with his new friends. Using the paper created, Meowth creates origami which he shoots at opponents in battle.

Well, that's enough spoilers already since only the first chapter of the fic is posted and almost none of this information has been revealed yet, but a little bit of spoilers wouldn't hurt :P

Darkfire: Kanto
In this swiftly growing story(Ch3 just up), the characters are still a bit unorganized. But let's see if I can categorize some of them.

Main Character:
Avani Uma/Darkfire Storm Shes about 14. Not much is known about her past. She has a talent with Pokemon that sometimes confuses her. She has a short temper and usually distrusts people. However, buy the end of Ch.3, this seems to be changing...
Pokemon: Hakan(Charmander, Ch.1), Jantis(Spearow, Ch.2), Dustyn(Mankey, Ch.2), Fausto(Meowth, Ch.2), Kyron(Shiny Houndour, Ch.3), Pikachu(To be named Taima, Ch.3).

Professors(Yes, there are two!):
Professor Oak Mentor and boss of Darkfire, he's only just given her a Charmander for a starter. He's just the same as Prof. Oak normally is, loving his spinach, anchovy, and pineapple pizza. He's older, but the old never age, so there.

Professor Ketchum He's about twenty now, but still the same as ever. He's as protective about Darkfire as Prof. Oak is, but he has a harder time hiding it. Yes, he still has Pikachu.

Other Trainers:
Jazz Amadahy Shes about a year or two younger than Darkfire. They got off on a rough start, but Jazz is slowly growing on Darkfire. She trains water Pokemon. Shes your typical blonde haired blue eyed girl, but shes good at heart.
Pokemon: Totodile(obtained previous to Ch.2), Mudkip(same as Totodile) and Horsea(caught in Ch.2).

OK, The Quest for the Legends, main characters. I will probably start adding to this as the main characters come into the story, since only two of them are in at this time in the revised version...

Mark
A rather ordinary, quiet kid from Sailance, a town in the Pokmon-less North-West Ouen. He loves Pokmon and has a passion for the Legendaries, his highest dream being seeing a Legendary Pokmon, but his parents do not approve of Pokmon training and therefore will not allow him to go to Green town and get a Pokmon from Ash Ketchum. Because all his friends were luckier, Mark is alone and feels rather depressed until the fateful day when he finds Charmander.

Charmander
A Charmander (duh) whose Pokball got thrown away in anger after a misinformative trade and forgotten about. He finds a great partner in Mark, who is like him in many ways; undecisive, tends to act before thinking at times, and finds more pleasure in the journey than the destination.

Linc

Sounds cool.

"The Boy and his Dragon, Reborn"

Linc
An 11 year old boy who starts a journey with two fire-breathing dragon Pokemon. He likes hard challenges, and that's why he chose the two hard core dragons. He always acts without thinking, and is very humorous, and he always does what he thinks is best for his friends, and not him, even though he doesn't do it much as I haven't written much of the story. He is traveling with a girl named Karin, and a former gym leader named Max.

His Pokemon (So far):
Firex, the shiny male Charmander
Firex is always friendly, except to enemies, and does whatever he can to help Linc. His shiny body gives him a powerful attack, the meteor claw, which hasn't been use in the story yet. To do the attack, he absorbs energy using the special coloring of his skin, and he fires blasts of energy from his claws that explode whenever they touch something. I know it sounds weird about absorbing energy using his skin coloring, but he absorbs it like a Mewtwo would to use a Solarbeam.
Drax, the male shiny Bagon
An affectionate, yet kind of a loner, dragon. He's also a shiny Pokemon, but more will be told about these two dragons later in the story. This little guy has the special abilities to create his own attacks, such as the Skull Crusher, which he does by running until he gets enough momentum, and then jumps at the enemy, while using Focus Energy while he's flying.
Ruby, the Red Machop
A fiesty young machop that Linc found in the forest when he was training with the fighting Pokemon at the Forest Dojo. There isn't much to say about this guy now, but as the story unfolds, he will play a big part in the search for Rayquaza.
Sapphire, the Blue Machop
Pretty much the same as Ruby, except different colors O_o.

Karin
A young girl that is very dependant, and can't Pokemon battle for beans. She joined Linc when he saved her Torchic from a Team Hurricane grunt.
Her Pokemon:
Torchic
Flasmur (another evolved form of Whismur, and unlike Loudred, it takes in sound with its super sensitive ears and projects the sounds for others to hear)

Max
Max was a Gym Leader at Zapdos City, but when Linc beat him in a Pokemon Battle, he decided to explore the world with Linc, and turning his star pupil into the new Gym Leader. He's like Brock, and you better beware once he gets a map.
His Pokemon:
Elekid
Electrike
The Manectric Trio

The so-far main cast for my fic, "To Those Who Still Care..."

Laura Deirdre
A girl recently graced to being 15 who felt alone after a coincidental series of events: betrayal, loss, and so forth. Generally nice, but downsides include her quiet, shy, brooding behavior and the grief gripping at her, and in general is what all Hot Topic poster children wish they were: dark, tormented, and distant. She had a father who was ran off and a neglegent mother, so she has lived with her nearest relative, her uncle Brawly, from around six or seven until his recent death.
Her eyes are a dull, deep forest green; her hair, straight, is a deep dark brown(very close to black, impossible to tell the difference) with dark blue streaks that falls to about shoulderblade length; and skin appears a mixture of pale and slightly tanned. She stands at about 5'4" with a limber build(from surfing and martial arts).
She normally dresses in clothing varying from a dark blue casual-style shirt with white undershirt and khaki pants to a dark grey top with dark purple knee-length pants and dark blue headband. Regardless, she always wears her six small silver hoop earrings(three per ear lobe) and black choker bearing a celtic cross.
Her Pokemon:
~Kikyo, an Absol(since Prologue/Chapter 1)
Kikyo was found by Laura shortly after her flee from Dewford Town. She was abadoned by her family because she didn't conform with the average Absol; her eyes are a greyish-blue color and fur slightly more silver than normal. Kikyo tries her hardest in attempts to cheer Laura up, and is very friendly.
~Alaric, a Murkrow(since Chapter 3)
Alaric was found within the outer reaches of Petalburg Woods the morning after Laura's journey began. Since he has been with Laura only a short time, his true personality is currently a mystery. He was found with wounds, perhaps from an encounter that had lead him to that bush.

Mike Hetfield
A young boy about 16 or 17, usually secluded behind black and spikes. His eyes are a dark brown, as is his hair, which is slightly spiked. He abandoned Laura for Fiona around the time of the plague, but truthfully, he never cared about her. He has an angry, hateful aura looming about him.
His Pokemon:
*Lars, a Poochyena who seems Marilyn Manson-esque and more malicious than the appearance of Mightyena. (first appearance in Chapter 3)

Fiona(last name unknown. The idea for her was inspired by the movie Eurotrip, in which Fiona was Scott's girlfriend before she left him)
A young girl around 15, with blueish hazel eyes and light brown hair that falls about mid-beck length. She normally dresses in a white sleeveless/strapless shirt and a red/black plaid miniskirt. She is hateful to most, except Mike and her Pokemon. She can be nicely considered a bitch, for her bad attitude seems to always arise.
Her Pokemon:
-Jaimie, a sneaky Ralts with attitude problems much like her trainer. (first appearance in Chapter 3)

Mieke(pronounced like Mika) and Tsukasa(sound strangely perfect for a duo)
Two young girls who seem to be always around when something occurs. They are two members of the seemingly revived Rockets. Mieke has long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail and green eyes, while Tsukasa has blue eyes close to indigo, and shoulder-length black hair. Both dress in dark blue tops and black pants. Mieke seems to be the loud-mouthed, cheery member of the duo, while Tsukasa is quiet and sarcastic one.
Their Pokemon:
*Tsuke, a shy female Skitty belonging to Tsukasa. (first appearance in Chapter 2)
*Mikasa, Mieke's bubbly female Plusle. (first appearance in Chapter 2)

These bios contain minor spoilers for everything up until the sixth chapter of Tangled Web.

The three main human cast members of the fic are as follows...

Sen Delaney
Quite simply, he puts the "anti" in anti-hero. Sen is a slim, dark-haired young man in his early twenties, and of a slightly bitchy temperament. He can be callous, mean, and downright unprincipled - he thinks of morals as things that can be shaped to suit his own ends, which is why he's so good at talking himself into doing things. But you shouldn't misjudge him: he's very passionate about the things that are important to him, those being Pokemon and his best friend, Charlotte. Sen comes from a highly privileged background in the cosmopolitan Cardinal City, where he lives with his alcoholic aunt Phyllis. His parents seem to be missing in action, something which he is unconcerned about. At age fourteen Sen set off to become a Pokemon trainer, but his quest was cut short by an as yet undisclosed misdeed which resulted in him being expelled from the Pokemon League and banned from ever owning a Pokemon again. Sen took this very badly, becoming bitter and withdrawn, cutting off all of his friends bar Charlotte and seeming to drift aimlessly through life.

All that changed the day when, walking off a foul mood in Peregrine Woods, he stumbled across the mutilated body of another Pokemon trainer. Such a unique (yet macabre) opportunity Sen was unable to ignore: he took the late trainer's licence and his one Pokemon and set off across the country to resume his Pokemon journey, posing as the dead Richard Sooter. So far he has earned one Gym Badge, with Sooter's Torchic, a bad-tempered Chansey, an uncommunicative Beedrill, a criminal mastermind Murkrow and his best friend Charlotte joining him on his quest. But where will it all end? How long can Sen fool the Pokemon League, and what will happen if they uncover his lies? Only time will tell ...

Celeste Wesley
Sen does not get very far on his new journey before he runs into this gung-ho trainer. Celeste is dedicated, skilled, hard-working, caring, and entirely devoted to Pokemon: in short, the poster-child for trainers everywhere. Sen's superficial attitudes, casual bitchery and superiority complex create instant friction between the two, and a rivalry is the inevitable result. Sen thinks Celeste is an insufferable know it all, while Celeste resents that Sen doesn't appear to take Pokemon training as seriously as he should. She has worked hard to fund her Pokemon journey, and doesn't take kindly to someone making light of it. Despite their one-upmanship, the two trainers have developed a grudging sense of respect for each other as their paths have crossed, although each is still eager to prove themselves the better trainer at every opportunity. While Sen pulled off a surprise victory in his first ever Gym battle, Celeste was shocked to be defeated. Although she remained behind in Lammergeyer Peak to train for a rematch, rest assured she will return.

Charlotte Walker-Bay
The latest addition to the cast is Sen's best friend in all the world, the stunning, charming and intelligent Charlotte. With her cleverness and her beauty, Charlotte has the necessary diva-like qualities to inspire Sen's devotion, but she has proved a great friend to him in his troubled past - without her, Sen would not have made it through his blacklisting at all. She is the voice of reason to most of his schemes and plots, but on this occasion she finds herself drawn in to the plans when Sen needs her help to spring him from prison. As memories of what their lives could have been come flooding to the surface, Charlotte agrees to help Sen prolong his charade - for now. Doubts linger in the back of her mind, and only time will tell how strong her loyalties are. One thing is certain: with her quick wit, her performing Lickitung and her handbag full of wigs, Charlotte is ready to take on anything life can throw at her.

I might as well update this thread with my characters. This first story is a parallel story in the same world as Venusaur's "Yu-Gi-Oh Jr." stories.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Sister of Anansi:

Lina Mystara: A young woman who was forced to grow up to be a businesswoman at a young age due to her parents' violent murder at the hands of a madman. She is actually from a parallel Earth to Venusaur's "Yu-Gi-Oh Jr." world, and she was brought to that world by Anastasia Pegasus, her counterpart(Lina's the adopted daughter of Maxmillion Pegasus in my Yu-Gi-Oh stories) and asked to protect someone. She's taken up a job as one of the Duelist Camp counselors. Duelist Camp is the place where children of those who work in Duelatopia(see "Yu-Gi-Oh Jr.: Mandate of Heaven") stay while their parents tend to the tournament held by the resort.

She is the counselor who runs the Dark Magician Girl cabin, one of the four cabins where older children reside. She's also good friends with Diane, Gwen, Bethany, and Twilight. Her deck is similar to her adopted father's and is a full-fledged Toon deck. She also was gifted with Timaeus, the dragon card which Yugi used ONCE in the anime. (Timaeus was not in the manga.)

Twilight: A mysterious Egyptian immigrant. She is the counselor who heads the Witch of the Black Forest cabin. She has mysterious psychic powers and anyone who meets her sees her as creepy, except those who are her friends(her cabin mates, Lina, and some of the nicer campers). She has many secrets. Her deck is a Gravekeeper deck.

Sheena Arachne: Hired by Siegfried to be a "special duelist"(I won't spoil her role here) in Duelatopia, she has a powerful insect deck. She has been Diane's caretaker and guardian since their parents died years ago in a freak storm at sea. She loves her sister very much and would not hesitate to kill anyone who tried to harm Diane.

Diane Arachne: Sheena's little sister, she is as every bit as rambunctious as her sister. However, she is a friendly person and makes friends very easily. She hits it off with Gwen and Beth as soon as she first meets them on the plane trip to Duelist Camp. With Lina's help, she was able to create a powerful Guardian deck and was gifted with Hermos, the dragon card that Joey Wheeler(Mary's dad) used decades ago. She's one of the girls in the Dark Magician Girl cabin.

Gwen Liseria: Gwen is one of the Dark Magician Girl campers and Diane's friend. She has a lot of spunk, and tends to tell off anyone who upsets her, like Mary's father. However, she tends to be careful not to overstep her bounds and never defies authority for the sake of rebellion. Her father got a job as a Centurion in Duelatopia, so she's resiting her laurels here. She also made friends with one of the Harpie Lady girls, Kate "Katnappe", after their duel. She owns a deck based on the Soul of the Duelist "LV" monsters. Her strong cards are her two LV Dragons, Horus the Black Flare Dragon and Armed Dragon. She also has a Mythic Dragon, the same five-headed beasts who confronted Yugi Sr. and his pals TWICE under the control of the Big-5.

Bethany Glitris: Called "Beth" by her friends. A shy girl who tends to freak out when things get hairy. However, she's capable of mustering up courage when needed. At first, she's a bit of a crybaby, but after a couple of miracle victories, she becomes much stronger in mind and heart. Her deck is filled with weak monsters, but Lina's managed to create a powerful deck out of these weaklings and now Bethany's deck is a deadly weenie rush deck. She also is granted the ownership of Critias, the card Siegfried's uncle used during the Seal of Orichalcos crisis in the States thirty-three years ago.

Machus Materis: The headmaster of Duelist Camp, he runs a tight ship and tries to be like Albus Dumbledore. However, deep down he has a dark secret related to the main villian. He hates his relationship with the bad guys, but can't find a way out. His fate is unknown, and he has a deadly card in his deck which will be revealed much later.

Pisaro: The main villian of the story. He shares some similarities to an old video game RPG villian. (Ever play Dragon Warrior IV?) He is a powerful sorcerer, and he owns many copies of the dreaded "Seal of Orichalcos" card whcih caused so much pain for Yugi's father, Mary's father, and their friends decades ago. He also has deadly sorcery of his own which matches the dreaded Milennium Scepter Anastasia once used years ago. His motices are unknown, as his former goal to accomplish Dartz's dream of reviiving Leviathan are scrapped. But it isn't a good thing for our heroes...

I'll update the Quest for the Legends cast. Mark and Charmander were above, well, Charmander isn't a Charmander anymore...

Charmeleon
He matured a lot after evolution, or so he thinks, at least. He has grown a lot more suspicious since he was a Charmander, and one of the first things he said to Mark as a Charmeleon was how stupid it had been when he had just agreed to go on a Pokmon journey with a random kid who claimed to have saved him. He also is very suspicious of Scyther, who to his opinion has got to be a secret assassin set on killing both him and Mark.

May
She is not the anim May, just to make that clear. I made this name before the dubbers and they had no right to steal it from me, end of story. Anyway, she is an extremely ill-tempered, mean and insensitive girl who always thinks she knows best. The thing is that she does. She creamed Mark in his first ever trainer battle with both a type and level disadvantage, and always seems to be the one who takes decisions, while Mark somehow gets dragged along. These decisions tend to get them into trouble, which is of course always completely her fault. She received Charmander in a trade in which she was tricked out of her Quilava, and after throwing Charmander away in anger she resolved to get her Quilava back.

Taylor
The younger brother of Rick, the Cleanwater City Gym Leader. Rick spoils him with Pokmon clones, and he has developed a very spoiled personality after being raised by Rick for his whole life. Taylor originally received Charmander as his starter, but being used to clones he thought he was weak and tricked May's Quilava out of her for him. Even after getting her Quilava, he has never used her (the Quilava) since he has clones to battle with. Deep inside, though, he isn't a villain; just a kid brought up by the wrong person.

Eevee
An extremely nave Pokmon who admittedly has matured a bit since he was originally found. He joined Mark in childish innocence without actually knowing what Pokmon training was, and didn't understand the concept of Pokmon battles until his battling instincts started to show recently. Very cute and innocent.

Sandslash
When he was a Sandshrew, he was afraid of most things. This caused him to curl up into a ball every time he entered battle, subsequently losing and making him feel even weaker. After being taught Earthquake, though, his confidence started to surface, and his evolution put an end to his fearful nature as a Sandshrew.

Gyarados
One of the likeliest candidates for "most depressed character in the fic", although the competition is hard. Gyarados's past is surrounded by mysteries at the moment, but what we do know is that he suffers from serious lack of nutrition, has eaten a few people and a Sharpedo, was desperate enough to cry in order to beg Mark to get him away from the Lake of Purity, somehow knows English, knows a weird laser-beam attack, despises Suicune and is unusually dark in color. And that's just the beginning.

Dragonair
He is rather shy, or at least he was as a Dratini. He is a bit left out, but he just waits for his time to come.

Scyther
My personal favorite character, and another likely candidate for the "most depressed character". His past is one of the most interesting aspects of the story, but will sadly not be revealed yet. What we know about it is that he was born in the wild but somehow has nothing to turn to there, and was three years ago caught by a madman named Rob, or "The Mew Hunter", who has an unhealthy obsession with a certain pink Legendary. He also appears to despise Scizor - and the reason seems to be more than just his claim that he's trying to keep up Scyther's pride versus their evolved form. As you will find out later, he loves to rant.

And that's it for now...

Cast of Characters for Dragonoid: The Legend of Fire Storm

http://groups.msn.com/df9a9mthhtcbig/dragonoid.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=302

Theo Kiash/Talon: From a young age, Theo knew he was different. His true skin were scales, his eyebrows horns, and his hair was a cache of flowing spikes. He was teased mainly for being physically different, and his strange abilities that arose later in life. His mother was a worker of potions and when he was old enough, she made a potion for him that would allow him to blend in easily with the human society around him. The potion itself had a limited effect, lasting until dusk if taken at dawn. Any other time the potion would take hours to fully mask his Dragon appearence. The potion also had it's limits. If Theo were to use any of his super abilities, the potion would burn through his system at a much faster rate.

Theo lives his life as he sees it, sometimes making other people wonder if he's purely a clown, or just acting. He's taken on a different name for when his Dragon side is revealed at dusk or whenever the potion is pre-maturly burned through his system. With this name he's tried to be an agent of mercy, helping those who can't help themselves. Of course, he's under fire by mysterious forces, and his good reputation goes down the drain when he's branded a Demon and given the name Fire Storm.

http://groups.msn.com/df9a9mthhtcbig/dragonoid.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=303

Kayla Berna: Kayla is a Member of the Royal guard, raised to be one of the strongest soldiers in the King's army. Orphaned at a very young age, she was brought up under one of the King's higher ranking generals. Trained in several forms of sword-fighting, she quickly made the ranks up to be one of the few female members of the Royal Guard Elite.

As one of the higher Elites, she was charged with finding Fire Storm and ending his reign of terror. Burning villages to the ground but leaving many survivors. On this quest, she bumped into Theo and thus got to meet the one who she was ordered to bring in. After several threats and having her life saved by the Half-Dragon, she gave the excuse of keeping him out of trouble instead of taking him or killing him. Given time, she's started to warm up to him, as he continues risking his life when there's no other way out.

Sasha Lihar: The daughter of a famous Scorcer and potion maker, Sasha was going to be raised to be the best of both, honing her raw magic skills as well as those needed to form various potions. But this corse of life was shattered. Her parents were murdered and she was taken in by Kyle, the head of the Trea theives guild.

She was taught and raised by Kyle, told she had to pay off some "debt" her parents seemed to owe the theif. She was alowed to keep her parents posesions as her own, and were she to leave Kyle's service, he would gain control of them and more than likely sell them off. They were the only link she had to her parents and kept them around, reading them occasionlaly when she wasn't working the streets. Running into Theo and Kayla changed her life...

Exposition de Phnomnes

Zedrick Alanoire:

A half-vampire acrobat for the Cirque de la Terre, he is the wielder of powers that nobody can really explain, not even Zedrick himself. These powers allow him to heal, and he uses this to his advantage in many places. Fixing broken arms, even restoring life-- but both come at a great cost, as something has to be sacrificed for something to be gained. For broken arms and torn muscles, he can simply draw the energy from birds or fish. The resulting after effect is a fully healed break, and a pond full of fish floating on the surface.

Dark in a sense of thinking, he hates failure, along with weakness-- believing if he's to do what he has to do, then he should be as strong as humanly possible. Naturally good at wielding a blade, and even better at firing revolvers, he suits the perfect build for a man that needs to perform such a destiny.

His job is to rid the world of "Death," and he accepts this task with minimal questioning. Enjoys a more physical approach to things, rather than thinking things through-- acts before he thinks. Despite him proving most useful in battle, he is rarely relied upon to fight early on.

Falls into love with Lexxi the minute he sees her, but cannot tell her. Ranshad is his best friend. Has a rivalry with Elexand for reasons much deeper than spirituality and religion.

Ranshad:

A near-giant from an island off the coast of Cheekien. He is truly a beast to behold, and the strong man in the Cirque de la Terre. Growing up alone on an island, with no guidance from parents or teachers, he received no education and is thus very stupid. He talks with a heavy accent formed mostly around stupidity, and it really has nothing to do with where he hails from.

Very cheery and bright, he likes to look at the better side of things: for every window closed-- a door opens, sort of thing. On the whole, just a very happy person.

He sees himself as a guardian for Lexxi and Zedrick, and a father for Shroom. He doesn't like Elexand, but he doesn't dislike him either-- he encourages Zedrick to give him a shot before hating him so much.

Lexxi:

A young girl who secretly admires Zedrick, but is too shy to tell him early on. She is aware that he is half-vampire, and doesn't take much care to it as she knows he has never fed on anyone before. She was a new addition to the Cirque de la Terre and had not yet made an act for herself. It would've had something to do with fortune telling, however, as she is a seer. If she holds an object in her two hands she had see both the past and future of the object, revealing what might come handy to the rest of the group.

She is sarcastic, but fairly quiet as she is a little awe-stricken around Zedrick in a shy sort of way. Not like other women, she becomes the object of Zedrick's affection because her personality relates to his in many ways. Although she would never say anything, she is very upset that she can't help Zedrick or Ranshad when it comes to fighting. She would do anything to become more competent with battle skills. Plays the role of the damsel in distress often, and doesn't like it. She is a strong willed woman, but her physical strength just can't match up.

In love with Zedrick, good friends to Ranshad although she finds him a little hard to work with. She thinks Shroom is the cutest thing ever, and as so, looks after him whenever he is not with Ranshad. Somehow, she is drawn to Elexand, but at the same time, he really creeps her out.

Shroom:

A little itty bitty mushroom person, with a mushroom cap over his head, covering his eyes and nose. He is a strange type of lifeform, the rest of his race has been wiped out by the troll assassin; Trollhawk. Possesses mysterious powers that can do just about anything-- can turn the tide in battle, confuse grown men, make the sun rise or set, and generally has the ability to tell just who is evil and who is good.

Very bubbly and jumpy, like a little child. Falls in love with marshmallows the first time he has one, and throughout his adventure with Zedrick, he can often be seen munching on them, even at the most innappropriate times.

Loves Zedrick like a father, but is upset that Zed doesn't spend much time with him. Looks up to Ranshad like a father, as well, and through their journey the two become quite attached. Thinks Lexxi is very pretty but cannot emotionally express this thought, as his language skills are stuck strictly to his own incoherant mumbling language.

Reverend Elexand von Ulrich:

A priest travelling along a road came into contact with Zedrick and the rest. Taking up the blade Tyr, he immediately helps the party. It is beyond him why he did pick up that blade, but something changed him. He thinks he is the epitome of good, but his ways are often corrupt or misguided. Uses the bible as an excuse for most-- follows a blind faith.

Oftens argues with Zedrick about religion, or just spirituality in general. Zed will have none of that "following the stars" bullshit, so he shrugs everything the Reverend says as the same.

Elexand is in love with Lexxi, but it's more of a physical type of love than a romantic type of love. He dislikes Zed in general, for his pagan ways-- but at the same time he is very jealous of Zedrick. Zed has the powers of God, but Elexand knows that Zedrick is not God, so in the Reverend's mind, the only possible person Zedrick can be is the devil.

---

And those are the MAIN main characters, there are a few more main characters that I'd rather not include. I just typed this all up right now on what I know about the characters. Some things are bound to change and develop.

From Einstein Academy

Terry Getter
Terry Getter is a young teenager from the world renowned Einstein Academy. Known throughout the school as being incredibly intelligent, Terry can fix almost any mechanical device if given enough time and used this prowess to create his F-Zero craft, the Cosmic Dolphin. He ran away from the Academy in this craft to compete in the F-Zero Grand Prix under the name Digi-Boy. Currently, Terry's record stands at 0 wins, one loss.

Smith
Terry's roommate at Einstein Academy, Smith is very clumsy and has a tendency to talk too much. A very friendly kid, Smith is actually quite smart, although he doesn't seem so in comparison to Terry.

Mickey
Another Einstein Academy student, Mickey is big with a Southern drawl. He is good friends with Smith. He is rooting for Terry and was crushed to hear of his loss. Mickey, although not the brightest, is loyal to the end.

Klogg
Klogg is the headmaster of Einstein Academy. Not much is known about him, except that he intimidates everyone he meets, most of all his students. He is quite angry that Terry managed to slip out from under his nose.

Tanner
A mechanic from our era, Tanner fixed the Cosmic Dolphin after it was totaled in the first race. He has a knack for swearing loudly and often.

Origins Unknown

Deathborn
Deathborn is an evil megalomaniac who seems to have a personal vendetta against Terry. Not much is known about him.

Do I think you guys want a complete roster for a 122-chapter Pokfic? DO I EVER.

However, I don't feel like it at the moment, so I'll come back and edit in RoseIII's character list at a later date. For now, I'll just do the fanfic I've posted so far: The Kuraitenshi.

Suri Mazoko.
Female; 189 years old; Tenshi. (Splices: Human.)
Black hair (short); pale green eyes; 5'9".
Came to Gaia because she wanted to study genetics under Sarina. A bit airheaded and energetic, but very intelligent and compassionate. Had a crush on James a long time ago, and it still makes her feel awkward around him.

Tsume Surudon.
Male; 22 years old; Human.
White hair with blond streaks (medium); red eyes; 5'11".
A quiet, reserved albino. Not that intelligent, but he learns quickly and well. Sarina hired him as Suri's assistant.

Sa(b)rina Kizuki.
Female; 758 years old. Tenshi. (Splices: Human, Mew, a handful of Pokmon strands.)
Purple hair (long); cobalt blue eyes; 5'10".
The legendary geneticist that took major role in the Kuraitoshiro Wars of Hanehasu. Very caring but always serious, her intelligence is always condescending, regardless of whether it's intended to be taken that way. Settled in Lavender and erected a Gym there, where she trains and looks after her patients. Takes pleasure in making high wagers with the Trainers that come to battle her, knowing that there's little chance that they will win against a telepath. (Yes, Sabrina = Natsume.)

James Kizuki.
Male; 424 years old; Tenshi. (Splices: Human, Weezing.)
Dark blue hair (medium); lime green eyes; 6'0".
Rarely serious and always dubious. His aspirations are high-shelf, but he's very secretive about himself. Avoids talking about himself by talking about others. Very gossippy. (Yes, James = Kojirou.)

Keiji Itoh (Takeru Taichen).
Female; 613 years old; Human. (Splices: Every Pokmon; Kurai; Tenshi; anything he can get his hands on.)
Keiji: Blond hair (medium); emerald green eyes; 5'4".
Takeru: Black hair (long; curly); gold eyes; 5'10".
Keiji is shy, intelligent, impish, mostly solemn and angsty, and sometimes even just a bit pretentious at times, while Takeru is loud, violent, and *very* pretentious. Victim to a slipstream in time created by a rogue Celebi, in the year 2440, he was swept back to the early 17th century, where his son altered the timeline on an irrevocable level. In his dimension of the timeline, Scyrus Rhesh (Giovanni) had kidnapped him and fourteen others from Ecruteak; Scyrus and his siblings proceeded to rebuild them, make them faster, better, because they had the technology, and proceeded, after a year had elapsed, to hunt them down. Keiji was the first of them (he was nine), and had been spliced with an Eevee's DNA in order to make him agile. He had been the prototype. Before the Yamis had had the chance to partake in their twisted sport, Sarina had given "the Roses" each a splicing, ranging from Espeon to Mew (this gave them a chance against their hunters). Keiji was given a Ditto strand, and his naturally impish personality compelled him to wreak chaos left and right.

Once he hit puberty, the unstable Eevee strand tore his mentality to pieces; the Ditto strand permitted him to evolve into both Espeon and Umbreon, causing him to become schizophrenic and creating Takeru in him. Takeru became the predominant personality because of the further instabilities produced by his accidental ownership of Rei Takunei's brooch. Once Rei Takunei had given him a Kuraitenshi strand when he was sixteen, Takeru decided to become a Tencol (tenshi collector), and collected the genetics of every Pokmon. He became reknown and feared worldwide, and sank into misanthropy, only coming out of hiding on rare occasion to see his brother and sister-in-law.

Though the Ditto's vampirism took a major part in his personality, Takeru did not embrace it until he was transported (to a faraway land, to a world where monsters rule) to colonial Ecruteak. His dominating personality was furthered by the villagers' religious fears of vampires, and it became second nature for him to slaughter without remorse.

The timeline is the same as the one he had come from. Once Take-ryuu had murdered Scyrus, he took the opportunity, now that the timeline had been changed, to kill off whichever of the now much younger Yamis decided to assault him (for they saw him as an obvious threat to their dominion). Xyra proceeded to spite him by infecting him with a gene-devouring ourei virus. Once Sarina arrived on Gaia 200 years later, she cured him of the negative effects of the virus and granted him all the benefits. Rukuru found out that Takeru was really a girl, and raped her in her sleep. To this day Takeru cannot cope with knowing that Keiji allowed his brother to do this, and thus tries as hard as possible to maintain control. (And no, that's not a typo in the physical stats. Read RoseIII. I won't explain. You can't make me. :P)

Rei Takunei.
Male; 740 years old; Tenshi. (Splices: Human, Kurai, and a handful of other alien strands.)
Raspberry hair (shortish); raspberry eyes (a lighter shade than his eyes); 6'4".
The first Kuraitenshi. He's prone to bouts of relentless violence, and has sadomasochistic tendencies. He won't be a prominent character for a while now, so I haven't really made any effort to detail him before. I'll work on this and get back to you.

Maki Gianni.
Female; 140 years old; Human. (Splices: Ditto, Umbreon, various other Pokmon.)
Red hair (long; curly); clover green eyes; 5'8".
Because Takeru had murdered Mortimer Rivelle once he had been cured of the ourei virus, she took Morty's place as curator of the Ecruteak asylum. Adept in psychology (and, unfortunately, getting her way). She and Takeru quickly fell in love with each other upon meeting, and after a matter of months became lifemates. Because she was not nearly immortal like him, she asked that he make her like him; thus, he gave her a handful of his own genetics in order to remove the centrioles in hers (centrioles, or, the ends of DNA, are the source of agingyou get older the more they degrade and fall away, giving way to miscopying of the genome). Can be rather bitter when it comes to people going against her desires or getting in the way of her getting what she wants, and especially when it comes to rude, loud, stupid people.

Kurai.
Uhh. 3 years old; Ditto. (Splices: Various common Pokmon like Pidgey; Kurai.)
Uhm, in Kurai form, "she" has short purple hair. :X
Very fussy and hyperactive, and won't stop until she gets what she wants (which is, most often, a meal, for her stomach rules her logic, as is the case for many Ditto). Infinitely curious, just like her owner, Suri.

General Bio's

Rikki Garson - An imaginative young 13-year old boy, Rikki is fond of all the popular pastimes - sports, hanging with friends, and Pokemon. Unfortunately for him, his Father's anti-Pokemon attitude has caused him to become quite unpopular among his class. Can Rikki ever convince his Father to let him get a Pokemon? And why is his father so negative?

Ken Garson - Father to Rikki, Ken is quick to anger and very much restless. A perfectionist who seeks the truth, Ken has a strong urge to keep his son into full-time education following his own failed Pokemon Journey years ago. Recently divorced from wife Sylvie, Ken fears the newly aquired riches his ex-partner has will soon lure Rikki away from his home. Living in poor conditions, Ken hopes his son won't make the same mistakes he did in life.

Sylvie Marsh - Unlike her ex-partner, Sylvie is living the high-life. She commands a secret criminal organisation known as 'The Spurs', lives in a fabulous mansion and has a lot of wealth. When Sylvie bets most of her life's worth on the outcomes of the Pacific Tournament, she knows that to ensure her sucess, Rikki must be trained up to take on the strongest trainers in the league. How can Miss Marsh fulfill her task while keeping a low profile?

Heather Laurie - Well dressed, financially secure and incredibly bright, Heather Laurie was hired by Ken to be Rikki's Pokemon Tutor. As a Tutor, the 19-year old student was expected to protect the young boy and 'train' him up, giving Sylvie a much easier time when fulfilling her task.

Despite her good start, Heather's performance soon declines when the two reach Heather's home town. Haunting memories soon engulf Heather's mind, and her actions irritate and anger Sylvie, who watches the two's progress. Sylvie knows Heather is both a hindrance and a help, and has to act.

Those are the main characters, I can post sub-characters (Dean, Martin, Tanya) if you wish.

I've decided to repost this, deleting the original first, of course. There are new characters and stuff, afterall.

the Legend of Blank Myn

BLANK MYN
Your run-of-the-mill eleven-year old bent for Pokmon Master-dom. His starter Pokmon was Efreet, the loyal and obedient Charmander. He's as adventurous as he is cynical, and always seems to be a step behind fellow trainers Gary and Trayd. He was one of the original four trainers to leave Pallet Town circa 1998 September. Pokmon: Charmander [EP01], Weedle [EP03] - Kakuna [EP03] - Beedrill [EP04], Rattata [EP04] - Raticate [EP07], Magikarp [EP05], Fenrislfr [EP07], Spearow [EP08], Mankey [EP08].

ERIKA LEISENGHARD
The peaceful gym leader of Celadon City, Erika meets up with Blank when he requests a battle for the Rainbow Badge. Unfortunate for him, her gym is burnt down, and she is out to get Team Rocket for it. In order to battle with Erika sooner, Blank decides to aid her with the Rocket scum, who have claimed the Game Corner as their secret hideout. After that, Blank defeats her with Efreet, and she's been traveling with him ever since then. 'sides, what else is she gonna do? Her gym's been burnt down and she won't be facing any other trainers for another year or so. Pokmon: Gloom [EP16], Weepinbell [EP16], Tangela [EP17].

FENRISLFR
Fenrir, for short. An unusual Pokmon with a mysterious origin. No Pokdex data whatsoever. One of Blank's Pokmon, however you can never tell by first glance as he is always walking freely outside a Pok Ball. Found just outside of Mt. Moon as an Eevee, Blank battled against him with Efreet, but just before he threw his the vacant ball, the Eevee evolved into this number. Fenrislfr is a very powerful 'mon, and using his telepathy, he can establish communication in the human tongue with Blank and Erika if he so chooses.

GARY OAK
Every kid's gotta have a rival, and Professor Oak's grandson Gary fits the bill nicely. A rude and selfish brat of a child, Gary Oak seems to always be one or two steps ahead of his fellow trainers. Pokmon: Squirtle [EP01], Pidgey [EP01] - Pidgeotto [EP07], Rattata [EP07], Abra [EP07].

ROCKET'S BUTCH & CASSIDY
The Jessie/James of Blank Myn's legacy. Ever since they were defeated by Fenrislfr on Nugget Bridge, they are determined to capture him so they can better rival grunts Jessie and James. Pokmon: Rattata [EP05] - Raticate [EP8], Abra [EP08].

Other, not so important, Characters include: Ash Ketchum, Misty, Brock, Trayd, Trigger. They'll appear in later episodes (save for Ash, who had a cameo in episode one), and I'm too lazy to type out character bios for 'em.

Laura Deirdre (Dare-dra)

Laura is generically your average 15 year old girl, but she seems to be more concerned about dreams and spirits rather than clothing and gossip. Standing at 5'6", she has been considered beautiful with her hazel eyes hidden behind thin glasses, shoulder-length dark brown hair, pale skin, and curved, slender, strong figure.
She's a friendly and calm one, and would rather be in the back rather than take the spotlight due to shyness. She's a bit depressive, quiet, as well as self-depricant because of how she's been treated in the past, and is trying to push that all behind her.
Laura is from Cerulean, living with her aunt, Christine. Her mother and stepfather both reside in Cinnabar, and her dad has been "missing" for years...maybe as far away as Hoenn, perhaps dead.
Pokemon ~ Uma (female Vulpix)

Mike Silvern (Save-urn)

Mike is your average 16 year old gamer. At a height of 5'10", many think that he's sickly with his lanky build and pale skin, but it comes with his gaming nature. His hazel eyes are covered by thick glasses, and his dark brown hair is rather untidy.
Mike, like Laura, is mainly quiet and calm. He isn't as depressed as Laura, but has been considered cruel and cold for his tendancy to come off as a smartass. But beneath the sarcasm, his emotions are rather deep.
He's from around the Saffron area. Doesn't feel like revealing much about his life, except that his parents are divorced and he resides with his mother.
Pokemon ~ Div (male Slowpoke. short for DivX, and don't ask)

Alex McCoy

Also 15, Alex stands around the same height as Mike, with dark brown hair, deep blue eyes, and an athletic build.
He does tend to crack jokes quite often, but he still knows when to be serious. One of his main claims is that he is Jesus Christ, and that Laura and Mike are his disciples. He does care about his two friends, regardless of how sarcastic he can get.
He hasn't said much of where he's from or anything.
Pokemon ~ Madoc (male Psyduck)

Zakhar

12 years old. Zakhar serves as the "rival" of the trio. Standing at 5'4", his hair is rather greasy and his eyes are fairly dark.
Zakhar is a bit cold and thinks of himself as a badass. He does act how kids his age normally do now and days, which Laura has considered rather immature. But that's how Zakhar is, that's how Zakhar shall be.
Nobody knows where he's from or where he's going, but we know he's from Okiado.
Pokemon ~ Torchic (male)

From Bloody Sword....

Prince Trav Orriss

Heir to the Kanadiam throne, Trav Orriss is the son of Troid Orriss Sr. Trav was forced to flee Kanadiam after Ryle and the Ranadian army invaded and crushed the country. Swearing revenge against Ryle, Trav, along with Tike Mallar and Rixie Rezze, travel the North American continent to rally enough military support from whatever remains of the other countries to fight back and reclaim his home. Even though he is only sixteen, Trav is an uncanny, albeit flawed, swordsman, and can easily take down an average armed soldier. Despite his fighting prowess, however, Trav is honest and considerate, and would rather give his enemies a chance to surrender first before having to fight them. Unfortunatley, Trav suffers from a hereditary disease, and will become prone to short fits of delerium under incredible amounts of stress or anger. And with the odds stacked against him and his friends, one can only wonder how long it will be until Trav finally snaps...

General Tike Mallar

A battle-scarred and combat-hardened general of the former Kanadiam army. Like Ryle, Tike is gruff and always dead serious about everything. He's so serious that, sometimes, he can be excessively harsh and callous. Still loyal to the slain king Troid, Tike has sworn on his life to protect Trav. His fighting skill is incredible, but his heavy, outdated EXO often leaves him too slow to catch up with the speed of the new, much more lightweight EXOs. And although he won't admit it, at thirty-five years old and suffering from years and years of numerous injuries, he may not have much left in him to keep on fighting...

Rixie Rezze

Abandoned at a young age and left into a live of servantry in the Kanadiam castle, Rixie grew up bitter and full of hate for just about everything and everyone, including prince Trav. When Ryle invaded the castle, Trav pulled Rixie out of the castle with him purely on impulse as he and Tike fled. Grateful but still loathing them, Rixie decided to follow along with Trav and Tike for protection if anything. Even though her tall and scrawny frame hardly cuts the mould as a fighter, she along with the rest of the Kanadian secretly had and EXO installed into her body, making her quite a capable fighter on her own. Though despite her hostile and rotten attitude, Rixie has shown that, somewhere inside of her, there is a caring and compassionate person waiting to come out...

Prince Ryle Orriss

Heir to the Ranadiam throne, Ryle Orriss is now the acting king of Ranadiam after his father left on an overseas expedition. Left with his father's orders of dominating the continent, Ryle Orriss did just that- crushing the neighboring Kanadiam and nearby West Namerik. Ryle is the textbook strong and silent type, and is well known for his cool-headed demeanor. He's always gruff and to the point, and rarely ever smiles. Just because he's a prince, however, doesn't mean that he was raised as a spoon-in-mouth weakling. Having honed his skills with a broadsword for almost all of his life, Ryle claims to be the deadliest swordsman on the continent- and few would dare to argue.

General Pyram

One of Ryle's many generals, Pyram has one true love aside from fighting- lighting things on fire. In fact, Pyram loves to torch things much more than fighting. From burning towns on impulse to setting innocent people alight for fun, it takes little more than intuition to guess that his favorite weapon is an arm-mounted flamethrower. Pyram doesn't really care what Ryle orders him to do. As long as he gets to burn something, he's happy.

General Lura

One of Ryle's numerous generals stationed over the continent, Lura oversees the Nuclear Mountains in East Namerik, a product of fractured tectonic plates during the intense bombing of the nuclear war. Lura is a well-trained and highly experienced fighter, using an unorthodox pair of magnetic-grip nunchucks which she weilds with unforgiving prowess. Being the only woman in the isolated military base had left Lura incredibly bored and listless, until Ryle one day ordered her to wait for Trav and Tike passing through the mountains, and kill them as soon as she could. Estatic that she finally had something to do, Lura proved just how cruel the years of loneliness have been to her by abducting Rixie, and taking it out on Trav with sadictically cruel mind games of her own....

Troid Orriss, Jr.

Trav's older brother, Troid Jr. was exiled from Kanadiam seven years ago for witheld reasons. Whatever they may be, Troid would like to keep them buried. Laid-back and always smooth, Troid seems to have overcome whatever got him estranged from his family, and seems quite content too. Troid found shelter in a small villiage in East Namerik named Lear, which he and a group of other fighters have sworn to defend against the numerous bandits in the area. With his shady past well behind him, Troid lives a relatively quiet life in the small villiage, until Trav and company venture in...

New post, new characters, new adventure. These characters are from my unreleased novel angelus corpus. Those of you who have actually read the sixty-page first chapter posted here may know what I'm talking about. I had to delete it for personal reasons, however. But anyway...

These are the characters from Chapter One: the Locke.

angelus corpus

the Nameless
Not much is known from this cloaked figure. He wanders aimlessly from town to town working job after job for just enough token to get by as he slowly pieces together his own life. It was learned that ten years ago, he ventured into the town of Liedwein and saved two young children from the clutches of the rebel group the Grudge. Albeit ten years has passed since he began his journey, he never aged a day. As the Nameless travels, he is not alone, for he has with him four companions. Weapons each baring a name close to his unbeating heart: Mary, Lu, Bei, and Cliff.
Quote: "Young lass, give them any name you please, for I have none."

Lisa
At the age of seven, Lisa and her brother Lance were abducted by members of the Grudge. When the Nameless first came to Liedwein, he saved both young children. Ever since he left, Lisa made him promise her that one day he would return to the good city. It was another ten years before she saw him again, but she always held high hopes.
Quote: "Youve been gone for ten years, sir; you wanted to travel the world seeking answers. You said youd come back it just took you longer than any of us thought

Lance
Lisa's younger brother, and a brilliant individual. He stumbled upon some classified information regarding a fellow by the name of Locke Dimests one day and figured that the Nameless needed to see it. His parents, the elders of Liedwein were killed by elite members of the Grudge two years prior when they were searching for the cloaked mercenary.
Quote: "Youre youre the Nameless; you saved us from the Grudge ten years ago

Xiophyn
A preacherman from Liedwein, Xiophyn keeps an eye on Lisa and Lance. Although he may seem like a religious person, Xiophyn is anything but. The preacherman actually dismisses the idea of a god-enriched world.
Quote: "Personally, Im getting tired of waiting."

Locke Dimests
A mysterious boy from Illardi who has been haunting the Nameless's dreams as of recent. Locke is traveling the hellish craters of the Neverend looking for its guardian Ba'al. He lost his family four years prior to the events in the dreams, so he was determined to sell his soul for eternal life.
Quote: "Angelus corpus the Fallen Angel. Then you can help me achieve my goal, yes?

There are many other seemingly important characters, including Ba'al, Galvin Gate, Zen'husholtz, etc. However, I don't wish to bore you with any more information.

Monica's Vendetta is a sequel to another fanfic, but it houses many new, interesting characters...some of these bios give away new characters and hint at events in future chapters.

Prince Tekaru Farrimond.

The young, handsome prince, who is 18 years of age, has a lot of responsibility to help his Mother protect the continent of Evayard from harm. Tekaru is a somewhat reserved and very polite being, and is also very religious. His attacks and even his elementa take the form of religious-based icons, but what was it that spurred on Tekaru's faith?

Gauld and Silva

These two are brother and sister, and are both adults now. Gauld is in his early thirties while Silva is in her late twenties. Gauld is a Metal Edgemaster, while Silva has limited Adeptry herself. Thus, she relies heavily on her brother for protection. However, the two are split up, and are only united again by one source...

Gauld's quest for perfection and Silva's quest for acceptance almost change who they are. But who is Silva's rival Keri? Does this young woman know of Gauld and Silva's family secret?

Leo Brutale

Leo is an Animaux Adept, with the ability to transform into a variety of animals. His general appearence matches that of a Lion, with a bushy mane of blonde-brown hair and a thick, firm posture with big hands and feet. He is a very powerful foe, relying less on adeptry (like many Animaux Adepts) and more on brute force. His weapon is a long chain with a rusted hook on the end. He is a ferocious man.

Stephen 'Spyda' Luuso.

Stephen is a quiet individual. Like Leo, he can manipulate to take the form of an animal, but his main form is unintentionally resembling that of a Spider, hence his nickname. He is a very thin, gangly man who is bald. His style is simple - quiet and quick. Like a crouched assassin, Spyda leaps in and out of the shadows to strike his foes. But Stephen Luuso has a deadly secret weapon, one that he himself cannot explain...

Lilla

Poor Lilla is a young girl, no older than 17, who has been trapped in a vortex of responsibility and trust. She has snake-like transformations, being an Animaux Adept too, but what is her mission? Who is she working for, and why? What does she hope to achieve? With this young girl, nothing is certain.

Shadow Realm: Fifteen

Fifteen: Our central character, as the title hints. A Witty Phantom by species (full number D-15A), he generally tries not to rock the boat, although being a fiend, he wears his emotions on the extreme outside of his skin. He stepped into a rut a year or so ago and never thought about leaving it. After a disaster occurs at his favorite bar - and he's blamed for it - Fifteen finds himself dragged out of his rut and into a run for his life. What happens when he can't run any further?
Voice Actor in Mind: Edward Norton (I know he doesn't do voicework, but that's the voice I hear)

Tessia: During Fifteen's first escape, he's saved from plummeting onto the train tracks by this ever-cheery Magician of Faith. Normally, Level One monsters don't have much to be happy about, but somehow that doesn't stop her. There are hints, when the mood isn't quite so bright, that she's only so happy to keep herself from breaking into tears. She and her roommate, Naomi, take Fifteen in and later become his closest companions...
Voice Actress in Mind: Kotono Mitsuishi

Naomi: Tessia's roommate and general friend, she is a Witch of the Black Forest. Unlike her perpetually happy friend, Naomi is somewhat quiet and introverted, as well as very easily embarassed. Behind those three eyes, however, she's capable of surprising feats of logic. Naomi's goal in life is to save enough money to purchase a Polymerization and fuse with her close friend, Liselle, a Lady of Faith.
Voice Actress in Mind: Omi Minami

Raelvion: The Dark Magician (there's only one, whereas there are so many Witty Phantoms that Fifteen's job is entirely staffed with them), Raelvion serves as the Spellcaster Representative on the Shadow Council, the group that runs the Central Shadow Realm. Unlike, say, Forseti (the Buster Blader), Raelvion has a general affection towards monsters of lower level. Something about the situation with Fifteen doesn't ring true, and so he tries to dig up the truth behind the accusations...
Voice Actor in Mind: Kirk Thornton

Aysev: An Unfriendly Amazon, her full number is A-737; everyone calls her Aysev. She's a detective with the Central Shadow Realm Police Force, a rank rarely achieved by Level Fours. Seeing her career on the line over the "Shadow Killer" case (the name given the murders ascribed to Fifteen), she attempts to track him down, desperate to keep this black mark off her career. She is assisted by the logic-minded Sasuke Samurai Geefor.
Voice Actress in Mind: Laura Bailey

Gaia the Fierce Knight: Unlike Yugi's card of the same name, Gaia is a homicidal, bloodthirsty murderer. During the Second Dragon Wars, an event that has defined the Central Shadow Realm for ages, he snapped and destroyed five hundred of his own soldiers. Ever since, he has remained chained up under the city, realized only when something happens that the police cannot control... and he's set free to go after Fifteen.
Voice Actor in Mind: G. Gordon Baer

Copycat: It has no name or number - both are pointless when it comes to a shapeshifter. The Copycat can take any form, from a Yata-Garasu (seeing one is bad luck, tuck your thumb into your fist or you'll have reason to fear the Reaper) to a Luster Dragon. It is sadistic, taking great pleasure from making people suffer, and it wants nothing more than to spill blood. It is under the service of a mysterious force, and it's because of the Copycat that Fifteen's wanted by the cops.
Voice Actor in Mind: Jerry Jewell

? (the main villain): It is always in the shadows, never seen by us but recognized by the monsters. A telepath, it is capable of inflicting severe pain with only its mind, and never walks, only floating. Using its mind, it keeps an Amphibian Beast (which it has named "Pav") as a pet. This monster is the employer of Copycat, and uses it as a pawn in a grandiose scheme. What that scheme is has yet to be revealed, but it will have dire consequences for the entire Shadow Realm...
Voice Actor in Mind: Richard Hayworth

Dark Sage

[size=3][B]Yu-Gi-Oh! The Thousand Year Door

Stanley Stan Mason: Stanley is the descendent of the Dark Sorcerer, one of the Three Heroes who originally imprisoned the Shadow Queen. A duelist of some skill, Stan idolizes the great Yugi Mouto, and considers him his apprentice (although only he calls himself that), carrying in his deck both of Yugis signature Spellcasters Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. He has many other Spellcasters in his deck as well. Stan was the first to realize his destiny and accept it, and he fears little except a certain famous Monster that kept him from winning his first major tournament. He holds the cards that depict the Companions Goombella, Vivian, and Ms. Mowz in his deck.

Francesca Benedict: Francesca is the descendent of the Warrior Queen, the second of the Three Heroes. Francesca is an attractive, intelligent, and tough-as-steel young girl, who will severely punish any boy who doesnt keep his hands to himself. However, her hard heart may be starting to melt as of late Francesca realized her position slowly but surely, and now strives to pick up where her ancestor left off. Her deck is composed mostly of Amazon Warriors and other female Warriors, whom she regards as just as tough as she is. She also carries the cards that depict the Companions Madame Flurrie and Yoshi.

Andrew Andy Markova: Andy is the descendant of the Dragon Master, the third of the Heroes. He came to his realizations last, and most reluctantly. When not in any conflict, Andy is meek and quiet, afraid to initiate conversations with strangers, especially girls. However, when a challenge is initiated, he becomes powerful and fierce, and gladly meets it. His fear of intimacy may get less in the future as his journey continues Like his forbearer, Andy can command Dragons, as his deck is full of them, including the rare Red Eyes Black Dragon and the rarer Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. He also holds the cards which depict the companions Koops and Admiral Bobbery.

Merlee: Little is known about this mysterious wizard. He is elderly with a bad stuttering problem, but he has great powers. He can undo spells cast by the Shadow Queen, and can hide himself and others from her omnipotent sight. He carries a Duel Disk, but he has yet to duel. He gave Stan, Francesca, and Andy the Companion cards and told them of their destiny which was met by disbelief at first, but eventually believed.

The Shadow Queen: Queen of Darkness, ruler of Monster Island. One thousand years ago, she set out on a quest for world domination, and would have succeeded, had not the three heroes defeated her in an earth-shattering Shadow Game. The Heroes couldnt kill her the most they could do was cast a curse which would make her grand Palace of Shadows a prison.

The Queens known powers include the ability to bring Duel Monsters to life, some of which she employs as duelists. She can spy on any location in Monster Island, and project her image to interact with people there. She can also use special cards to imprison foes or servant whom she is upset with in a prison of her own make called the Graveyard.

Lately, the Queen has found an escape clause to the curse that holds her prisoner. If she or a servant working for her can defeat the descendents of her three jailers in a fair contest, she will be freed. Thus she started the Monster Island tournament to lure them there, and now their only escape is to defeat her

The Shadow Spawn: The Spawn are six teenagers, all children of the Shadow Queen they are half siblings, each having had a different father whom the Queen tricked or seduced. Each one is a duelist who represents one of the Attributes of Duel Monsters, and each carries a taint of evil in their blood. From youngest to oldest, the Spawns names are Melissa (Light), Kurtis (Wind), Tyson (Fire), Leopold (Earth), Maria (Water), and Vladimir (Darkness). Though it would be wrong to say that the Queen shows any love for her children (she punishes them severely for their mistakes), they are her most trusted henchmen.

The Seven Companions: These are not really characters, at least not anymore. When the original Three Heroes went on their quest one thousand years ago, they assembled a team of sidekicks great warriors who aided them for their own reasons. After the Queen was defeated, the heroes immortalized their images in fine art. The Companions eventually died as all mortal beings do but art can last forever. And in the modern day, a great wizard placed their images on seven magical Duel Monsters cards, said to contain their souls. Merlee somehow obtained these cards and gave them to Stan, Andy, and Francesca, and now the Companions serve them albeit in a different way than before.

Well, since I'm here, I might as well post mine.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Virtual Disaster

Jacob "Jake" Forester: The main hero of the story, seventeen-year-old Jake (DON'T call him Jacob to his face) went to his very first tournament and made it past the first two duelists. However, due to a freak thunderstorm, the semi-finals were moved to what seems to be some kind of virtual world. In this world, he is a master of the Fire element, both in his choice of deck and in his physical abilities. His skeptical nature, however, prevents him from realizing his full fiery potential, and for now can only defend himself in life-threatening situations. All he cares to do now is simply finish the tournament and see how well he fares; however, destiny may have a little more than a mere tournment crown in store for him...
Favorite monster: Doesn't really have one, but normally uses Legendary Flame Lord as his Deckmaster.

Bryan Stormack: He is Jake's best friend, and counterbalance in many respects. Bryan is highly competitive, and actually took up the game of Yu-Gi-Oh because it was a game Jake could beat him in (at least, that's what Bryan says). He is also an avid follower of the anime series, and is in general more up-to-date on current events than Jake. As a result of his love of animation, Bryan is much more open and far less skeptical than Jake. Bryan's love of sports shows itself in his deck, which relies heavily on monsters that work well in teams of three as well as sports-related cards in general. His most powerful trio is the most powerful in the entire game: the Weather Guardians Sanga, Suijin, and Kazejin. Combined, they form the incredible Gate Guardian, a gift from his grandfather.
Favorite monster: Ultimate Baseball Kid

Cecelia Pegasus: The wife of Maximillion Pegasus, she has decided to help Bryan and Jake in hopes that they will help defeat the menacing evil sorceress Cerredwin. Interestingly enough, she no longer has a true body; her physical self was ravaged by disease shortly after her marriage, but with a little help from Noah Kaiba and her husband, she gained a new, android-like body, in which her soul now resides. Like her husband, she wields the might and power of Toon World; however, her love of music also shows itself in many of her monster choices, such as Hibikime and Spirit of the Harp.
Favorite monster: The Toon Harpist

Norman Romakov: A biologist by trade, and an expert on DNA, his side hobby of Yu-Gi-Oh leads him to duel - and lose to - Jake. He's a kind man who dearly loves his occupation, and it shows itself in his deck, which is based around DNA cards.
Favorite monster: Kinetic Soldier

Heather Sylvatia: Beware of tying to talk to this girl, if only because talking is what she does best, and she does it faster than most human beings can interpret. She has a love of the woods, which is obvious due to her deck choice of Plants and Insects. She was the second duelist Jake won against in the tournament, but due to a bizarre choice on the part of whoever designed this virtual world, her persona was re-created there, and she therefore got a rematch - though she lost once again. Jake is apparently quite unaware of the feelings she has for him.
Favorite card: Fairy King Truesdale

Cerredwin: Precious little is known about her. She's the organizer of this tournament, and has mastered all of the elements but one: Fire. As a result, she has set her sights on Jake and his natural abilities; strangely enough, though, all she has seemed to do is aid him, even so much as to give him one of the five wins required to enter the semi-finals. Her motives and methods don't seem to match, and no one is more confused than Jake himself...and, perhaps, people reading the story. Jake called the deck she used against him Spirit Chaos, and it relied on removing monsters of a certain Attribute from the Graveyard in order to summon stronger ones; for example: Garuda the Wind Spirit and Gigantes.
Favorite monster: Not enough of her deck is known, but her deckmaster was Chaos Sorcerer.

Now that my own fic's covered, time to bring up the story I'm currently cowriting with jkBAKURA (whom I can't seem to get a hold of lately)...

Yu-Gi-Oh: Lady of Dragons

The Millennium Children

Isis Kaiba: The daughter of Seto Kaiba and Ishizu Ishtar, Isis shows all the signs of having been spoiled by her parents (most likely Seto overdoing it in an attempt to be the farthest thing from Gozaburo). Fairly self-centered, snobbish, and at times an utter brat, she enters the 15th Annual Battle City Tournament in order to prove she's every bit the champion her father was. Her ultimate desire is to meet Yugi's son in the finals and trounce the offspring of her father's rival. Isis plays a fast, rough Light deck that centers around the three Blue-Eyes White Dragons - a gift from her father (although she had to earn them by defeating him in a duel).
Favorite card: Thunder Nyan-Nyan

Derik Motoh: The son of Yugi Motoh and Tea Gardner. For the child of the famous King of Games, Derik doesn't have much ego at all; he's fairly kind and generous, leaning more towards his mother personality-wise. As would be expected, he's very close friends with Joey Wheeler's son, Peter. Derik enters the 15th Annual Battle City Tournament for the heck of it, but quickly finds he has bad luck picking opponents - every opponent he faces seems to be crazy. While he runs a spellcaster deck, Derik's deck focuses less around the Dark Magician and more around the Dark Paladin, with a few other Dark Spellcasters as well.
Favorite card: Breaker the Magical Warrior

Peter Wheeler: The son of Joey Wheeler and Mai Valentine, Peter is the only one of the three to have a sibling when the story begins (a baby sister named Isabelle). While Peter is a relatively upbeat boy when the story begins, he quickly finds himself locked in a Shadow Game with a foul man known as Hasker. When it's over, young Peter is left scarred both physically and mentally, and his personality changes. He entered the 15th Annual Battle City Tournament just to see how far he could go at first, but now he duels as if running away from his memories. Peter plays a Dragon deck, its key cards being the Luster Dragons (at least at first).
Favorite card: Luster Dragon #1

The Order of Ammit and Key Members

The Order of Ammit: It wouldn't be a Battle City Tournament without some sort of dark organization trying to screw things up. The Order of Ammit is a group of foul men and women, organized by the one-time Rare Hunter Seskera, who seek to unleash the very might of the Shadow Realm. To do this, they must harvest the life energy of duelists, which can be done through the use of their favorite cards (the term "soul card" is quite appropriate after all). Because duel winners in the 15th Annual Battle City Tournament can request any card from their opponent's deck, the situation is perfect for them. Members of the Order (known as "Ammitites") aren't all duelists - among their number is a spy working as a clerk in the local fast-food joint - and they don't all wear the same thing; unlike the Rare Hunters, who all wore those purple cloaks, anyone can be an Ammitite. Furthermore, some of the Order wear special duel disk - they're outdated, but can hack into the tournament computers, thus allowing their wearers not only to duel without the tournament knowing, but to use banned cards...
Favorite cards: Depends on the person, but includes Graceful Charity, Great Phantom Thief, and Invader of the Throne

Seskera: The villain of the piece, the head of the Order of Ammit and an accomplished wielder of Shadow Magic, the power of the Shadow Realm, Seskera embodies the cruel side of the shadows. In his youth, Seskera was one of the Rare Hunters, until the unfortunate day he was called upon to test one of the fake Winged Dragons of Ra. As usual, he was struck down (in his case with a lightning bolt, the "default" smiting method). However, he alone survived Ra's wrath. As he recovered, Seskera decided that Ra had chosen him for a specific purpose, and disappeared into the Egyptian desert. Fifteen years later, a scroll of Set containing instructions on how to open and unleash the Shadow Realm was found on an archeological dig - but the truck containing it never reached its destination. Seskera has the scroll, and plans to engulf the entire world in shadow. It should be noted that Seskera has one unusual weakness - he is deeply terrified of death.
Favorite card: A Man With Wdjat

Hasker: Unlike the other people on this list, Hasker appears but once, but his appearance has long-term ramifications. A former member of the Order of Ammit, Hasker (nicknamed "the King of the Sewers" for his habit of living in them) turned his back on the Order for reasons yet unknown and stole a powerful magic item, a crystal known as the Claw of Typhonis (a key item for Seskera's plans). Taking to the sewers, he sent someone else to kidnap Peter Wheeler's infant sister, Isabelle, luring the boy down into the sewers to get her back. (Interestingly, he introduced himself to Peter as a member of the Order of Ammit, despite apparently having turned against them...) Peter was forced to duel Hasker and the rogue Ammitite's burn deck in a Shadow Game, with both his life and Isabelle's on the line. Hasker lost and was killed by the rules of the Shadow Game, but his spirit still lives on in Peter's memories, tormenting the boy...
Favorite card: Dark Snake Syndrome

Odion Ishtar: Fifteen years after Marik conquered his dark side at the first Battle City Tournament, Odion has failed him once again by joining the forces of the Order of Ammit. Seskera, who remembered Odion all too well, was overjoyed with this occurance, and thus has raised Odion to a position as his right-hand man. But there may be more to this than there once seemed - confronted on the matter by Marik, Odion claimed to still be loyal to the Tomb-Keeper clan. There's a deep mystery around Odion's activities, and he may well be a wild card in this one...
Favorite card: Presumably one of the ones he used at the first Battle City Tournament; which one is unknown

Hmm... why hadn't I posted here before? I guess I can list some of the main characters of Quest of Twelve (can't name all 12 members of each side of the war here, and besides it would be a spoiler if I did). I'll describe only 6 of the 'good guys' in this post, the first 6 to join the quest.

Eric:
He's a young elf of the merial race, agile and rather small in size in comparison with humans or elvins. He's a prodigious fighter and has his heart in the right place, though he has a lot to learn about life and the world he lives in. His main goal is to make the world a fairer place for everyone; his second goal is to build a name for himself, so that the older elves will take him into account. He's also very curious, and tries to learn as much as he can, mostly by asking questions. He has an important bond with Mariel, who was the first one to treat him as an equal and see him for who he really is.

Mariel:
A young elf sorceress of the elvin race. Elvins are taller than merials, normally more magically skilled and not as agile. The two elf races have little respect for each other, but Mariel considers this ridiculous and unfounded, as has Eric ever since he met her. She's as talented with magic as Eric is with his sword, and shares Eric's goals in a slightly more quiet and patient way. They're both considered naive by some of the other characters, but Mariel has a way of getting through to the hearts of others, and it takes a burning hate for anyone to treat her with contempt.

Erin:
A strong faerie whose race and past are not revealed until chapter 14. And even then she won't say her age no matter what. She's a smart and experienced warrior, who often asumes the role of the leader when troubles arise, but who can't seem to agree with the others (or get the others to agree with her) in most other situations. Her bad experiences have made her bitter, and she has closed herself to the world, and tends to be too cautious. But the chance to finally make a difference and the company of open and kind-hearted beings, and particularly Timper's faith in her and his incessant attempts to make her happy, cause her to gradually open up and regain some hope. She considers herself responsible for the safety of the others.

Pura:
She's a lurian, a small light-elemental being. Some aspects of her race are kept as a secret from the rest of the world for security reasons, but other than that she's as open as can be, and is never afraid of expressing her thoughts and feelings. She's a teacher, and also Eric's guardian. While not a skilled fighter, her speed and small size keep her safe in the toughest situations, and she gradually discovers she can do more things than she gave herself credit for. She has a strong sense of duty, and considers the well-being of those she cares for more important than her own. Her most immediate goal is to finish the quest and see Eric become a true warrior, but she has her own hopes and dreams which she keeps mostly to herself, as other things must come first.

Timper:
A shifter (as in shapeshifter), and also an explorer. His cheerful personality tends to hide the fact that he knows more about the world than it would seem. He's no stranger to suffering and injustice, but he prefers to look at the bright side of life and make the best out of a tough situation. He's spent most of his life travelling, sometimes with company and sometimes alone, and he considers the world to be his home. Sedentary life is simply not for him; however he'd rather not let go of the precious few who truly care for him. Especially Erin. Timper saw through her shell as soon as he met her, and was both delighted and sad at what he saw. Since then, his main goal has been to convince her to give life (and him) a chance. And he's good at what he does, even if he tends to brag a little too much. He hates being discriminated for being a shapeshifter, and feels the need to prove the world that he's as real and as important as everyone else. Given his notorious personality (and clothes), he doesn't find it too hard to make that point. He's never been able to use magic, but other than that he's good at most things, since he's smart, creative, good at improvising and a fast learner. And if he finds something else that he can't do well, he can always bluff so that the others don't notice.

Gallead:
A ferwill explorer. His race is most known for their ability to turn into wind at will. Aside from this and the natural ability to shoot gusts of wind, he has some skill with a light sword and knows a couple of basic spells. As an explorer, he knows the territories and some facts about the world, though not as much as Timper does. He does have a unique talent, though: his amazing drawing skills. He works hard at becoming good at a bit of everthing, and always accepts his friends' assistance. In return, he will never turn his back on them, and will do anything for those who need him. He has a powerful intuition, though he's not fully aware of it, and he has formed a link with a human witch named Jamie Wilmslow. Erin will describe him as a hopeless romantic. The truth is he can be corny sometimes, but only because his feelings for Jamie are something he'd never experienced nor dreamt of before, and he's willing to follow them wherever they may lead.

Well, I've got a new story up, so why not tell some people more about it?

Shadow Realm: Unity

Veronica:

PT-237-C9 is one of many hired Clairvoyants in the CSRPD. This Protector of the Throne spends her days with a crystal ball gathering information to solve and prevent crimes in the city. (she would compare it to flipping through static filled channels is she had any knowlege of the Television) Also does some minor errands, and even provides early warning to officers on the job. Modestly successful, but struggles with the knowlege that most of what she does goes unnoticed. A very sympathetic person, she can see the views of others, even if she doesn't nessicerily agree. Also notable, as a mild psychic, she has picked up fluency in several languages used in the Central Shadow Realm.

Meridio:

Jack's Knight number 706-J, Meridio is respected arguably beyond his level 5 status. He was promoted to the rank of Seargent within a year of joining the CSRPD, and is one of the most skilled swordsman the CSR has ever seen. He sees himself as a leader, and follows his own judgement, which sometimes clashes with the ideas of others. Meridio also has an enormous sense of dedication to any goal he sets his sights upon.

Five:

A Guardian of the Labyrinth number E5-27, Five had five minutes of fame while he was involved with a research celebrity. After her death, he plunged headlong into finishing her work. This obsession has earned him a less positive reputation, and the fact that he's an addict to Poison of the Old Man medicines which have undergone a process called "tainting" doesn't help to change that opinion. Nevertheless, he seems to think what he is doing is the right thing, no matter what the public opinion is.

Regina and Eustace:

A Queen's Knight and King's Knight respectively, these are the Sister and Brother of Meridio. Both managed their way onto the police force, and immediately began to feel the effects of their brother's reputation. Regina prefers indirect work, such as gathering information and public relation's control. Eustace prefers to be in the fray, especially when an attractive female monster is around. Sadly, Eustace's life was cut short during an accident in a police raid. Meridio blames Five for his death, and makes that fact known clearly.

Demeaus A character to appear later. No further information at this time.

Other major characters (mostly the political figures) can be found in Shadow Realm: Fifteen by Master of Paradox

Why not?

The Pokemon Masters League cast:

Chris (Aka 'Brit Chris'): A self-assured young battler who has a lot to learn. Chris was accepted into the prestigous Pokemon Masters League, but it soon transpired his standards had slipped. Often quite mature and quiet, due to his over-excessive girlfriend Jenny (see below), Chris developed a sense of freedom after she was denied acceptance into the league. Chris is not always willing to help, and is a rather lazy boy.

Becca (Aka 'The Missing Link'): The head honcho of TPML, Becca shows signs of a young girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Despite her original aspirations having fluttered out the window, Becca now finds comfort in her position and is always wiling to do the right thing. She stands for justice and fairness, but often comes to blows with Karin over the correct action to take.

Andrew (Aka 'Oz'): OzAndrew returned to the league briefly with a fantastic, flourishing display of whimsical fantasticalment. However, after nearly endagering his life, he was fined a hefty bill and ordered to work and battle in the village to pay it off. A quirky battler, Oz has his Mr Mime levitate his bouncy castle, where he holds many of his battles. Despite his friendly demanour, Oz hides some secrets, some which he only acts on as his alter ego, 'Quackman'.

Karin (Aka '04621'): Karin was called in to assist TML during the league when Pokemon Contests were established. As the Head Coordinator of TPML, Karin's expirience gives her a slight edge over The Missing Link when it comes to making decisions, but in a lower position, her advice often goes unnoticed. She longs to battle again, but the recent mystery involving Amy Wolfsong's dissapearence has given her a lot of work.

Dan (Aka 'Razor Leaf'): Kind, compassionate and caring are three words you wouldn't use to describe Daniel. He is the Head Businessman of TPML anduses his authority to get what he wants. Razor Leaf and Chris have a rivalry with one another due to the formers utter distaste from the latter. A former student of The Arbiter, Razor Leaf has his own specific battle styles and ways, which he believes are the key to his success. He has few 'friends' in TPML, but he has a lot of contacts and allies.

Jenny (Aka 'FabuLass'): One of the few fictional characters in the fic, Jenny is Chris' girlfriend, and arrived in the village some time after her boyfriend, having re-applied to the league. She is flirty and charming, but has an acidic streak you may want to avoid. Her motives are still unclear, but since she suspected Chris was seeing The Missing Link, she has begun tirelessly working against our hero with her new friend Crystal Tears. Eager to participate in contests, she has developed a fued with The Eon Sisters - the top coordinators in the league.

Characters like The Arbiter/Grey, Liang/Aragornbird, Knight of Time, Hanada Tattsu and others will be put up shortly.

I guess I should add on, too.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 3.0: Next of Kin

Cast:

Christopher McKinley: Pretty much the main character, Christopher is fiercely loyal to those he cares about and would gladly lay his life on the line to help those in need. He says he has what is called 'the will of the Warrior,' which causes his uncanny recklessness in the face of danger. Generally calm, easygoing, and very slow to anger, he also has quite the sense of humor, though some may think it a bit... odd. Hoping to become the next King of Games, his bold attitude and quick mind allow him to best almost any opponent in a duel; his Warrior deck, led by his favorite Monster - the Buster Blader - has almost never failed him, making him a force to be reckoned with.

Thomas McKinley: Chris's elder brother and fraternal twin by less than 6 days, Thomas is not as loyal as his brother, but his impressive strength and intimidating height make him a valuable ally nonetheless. A jokester by nature and a bit of a womanizer, Tom has yet to be anywhere near as successful as his brother - both in dueling and in love. Tom is quicker to anger than his brother, but his resulting hostility isn't as fearsome. Thomas duels with a Chaos/Ritual combination deck starring his favorite Monster - the Chaos Sorceror. One noteworthy fact about Thomas is that he cares deeply for his brother, but deep down he resents his younger brother's success...

Vincent Barone: The great-nephew of the world-renowned Joseph Wheeler and distant cousin of the equally-famous Mary Wheeler*, Vinny is a sturdy young man with all of his uncle's best qualities, as well as a sounder train of thought. Fairly intelligent and a huge fan of science fiction, he is unbridled in street duels and is known all across New York City and beyond for his skill. Currently the Del Monsters champion of New York, he dreams of becoming as famous as his uncle, which serves both as a motivator and an albatross for him. He uses his great-uncle's infamous deck, known to some as a 'Toy Deck,' to destroy his opponent's with little difficulty. His favorite Monster, oddly enough, is not the original Flame Swordsman, but rather the Blue Flame Swordsman, who idolizes the former just as Vinny does his uncle.

Kinta Mutou: Yugi Mutou's grandson and son of Yugi Mutou Jr. and Mary Wheeler Mutou, Kinta Mutou is a shy, somewhat scrappy boy with a lot to prove. Though he never truly liked dueling until the day his father gave him his treasured Millennium Puzzle, Kinta has long since developed a passion for the game, and it shows - he has long since learned how to give his father a run for his money and has even begun to prove to be a challenge for his grandfather! However, like his father and grandfather before him, he feels that he has a job to do in life, and dueling will be a part of it. Aided by the mysterious spirit of the Millennium Puzzle and weilding his grandfather's legendary deck (with his own modifications, that is), Kinta may just trump Chris in carrying on the family legacy and becoming the new King of Games...

Tori Kaiba: Great-grandson of the late Seto Kaiba and nephew of the late Siegfried Kaiba, Tori is just as headstrong as the former while still being as compassionate as the latter, though he hates to show it. The current CEO of the multi-billion dollar gaming company KaibaCorp and KaibaCorp's newest branch of Industral Illusions, Tori has made his organized a tournament as a result - celebrating the conjunction of the 2 biggest gaming companies on Earth, the 'Duelist Destiny Tournament,' as it's called, is rumored to rival even Battle City and Duelatopia in magnificence. Tori is out to prove that he's the best, in the name of his deceased mentors Seto and Siegfried, who could never claim the titles they deserved when alive. Carrying in his deck the 3 most powerful Duel Monsters around, he can and will destroy anyone who dares to get in his way.

Clarissa Valentine: Grand-niece of the legendary Harpie duelistMai Valentine and niece of the great Samurai duelist Jade Valentine, Clarissa is a very shy, somewhat lazy teen out to become the first ever Queen of Games. She has a long way to go, but she shows a lot of potential, fearlessly standing up to any challenger that she meets. Not much is yet known about her past, but judging by her sunny disposition and a very open mind, one can safely assume that her childhood was much more pleasant than either Mai's or Jade's. Though her deck has no defeinite theme, the term 'Girl Power Deck' may just work - her army of femme fatales has long since lain waste to some of the strongest creatures in the game. Her favorite card, Penumbral Soldier Lady, reflects her romantic persona, as does her 'friendly' relationship with Vinny...

Tox Phobus: A mysterious brute of a man whose intentions seem to be little more than to destroy, Tox is someone to be avoided at all costs. Rumored to break peoples' bones for the fun of it, Tox's personal history has long since created a deep-running grudge between him and the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle; he's made it his goal to literally destroy anyone affiliated with the spirit, but unfortunately, his sinister plans seem to go far beyond a mere personal vendetta...

? ? ? ? ? ? ?: The main villain. Details currently unknown.

-Blade

* Mary Wheeler is one of Dark Sage's creations and co-star of Dark Sage's Yu-Gi-Oh! Junior trilogy.

Don't have a whole lot of time, so I'll do like one character at a time or something.

We'll start with our main character...

...the loner of the Pace family, Brian. Since he was born, his family expected him to be either a great pokemon master or the next Ray Charles. Brian, however, wanted to be neither, and instead fulfill his dream of becoming a Filipino. But this dream was far off for young Brian, who, not wanting to disappoint his parents and despite his better judgment, decided to become the next Ray Charles. When that didnt work, he went off to Jaune City High, which, due to mysterious attacks on the Elementary and Middle Schools, now holds grades 4th through 12th.

However, this is no ordinary school. The Ilde region takes pride in its Pokemon Trainers, who are well trained before they can enter any tournaments. At the age of 10, future trainers will go off to school and train there. Once they have passed their first year, they may battle gym leaders and enter tournaments at their own pace. Brian is now 14, and has failed his first year miserably, for four years. His friend Amaru, who he met during his second year there has also failed all exams and stayed back for the next three. Amaru tries to act like he cant pass, but everyone except maybe Shrub is very well aware that hes only staying back to keep his friend company and try to make him feel better.

The rest of the family desperately wants the whole family to enter the Ilde regionals, but every 3 months, Brian has still not passed, and is forced to watch from the sidelines. Brian is the worst in the family, next to Shrub that is, but Shrub just plain sucks in general. Why hasnt Brian passed? God Verm, you ask too many questions! He just cant seem to do things right when it comes to pokemon. He lacks care for his pokemon and feels as if he just isnt made for battling. He doesnt see whats so great about commanding animals to fight each other and just cant seem to get into it. He does not realize the true beauty of trainers and pokemon, working together in harmony, as one. But being Filipino is still pretty cool.

So I'm novelizing a very little-known SNES fighting game called Brutal: Paws of Fury. Since I'm 99.999% sure that 99.99999999% of everyone here hasn't even heard of it, I guess I could introduce the characters as if they were my own.

Hear that, whatever's left of Gametek? They're yours, not mine. </lawsuit dodging>

The Protagonists

Rhei Rat
5'11"
140 Lbs

One of the most sucessful Thai Boxers in the world, Rhei enters the Brutal Island tournament in hopes of silencing his critics permanently. His lean and slender frame allows for speed and agility, and conceals his deceptingly powerful right hook. Concious of his limits and always confident in his abilities, when Rhei says he'll win a fight, 9 times out of 10 he does. His never-look-back, no-nonsense attitude has made just as many fans as it has rivals and detractors, not to mention that despite his skills, he isn't above a little dirty fighting. Rhei is a loner of few emotions, and even less for words. More often than not, he lets his fists do all the talking- and they have lots to say.

Prince Leon
6'
150 Lbs

More of an aspiring rock star than a martial artist, Leon entered the Brutal Island tournament to confront and settle a score with his long-time enemy, Tai Cheetah. He really isn't that skilled at what he claims to be his fighting style, but he more than makes up for it with his charisma and sheer brawn. He really boils down to an otherwise frivolous and fun-loving guy with a deep-slated vendetta to shred Tai to ribbons. He has a very, very bad habit of leaping before he looks, being quite crass, bursting into uproars, and of course, making an ass of himself.

Foxy Roxy
6'
140 Lbs

Indrha Prashmet, otherwise known as her pet name Foxy Roxy, is a sucessful and well-known UN delegate who is also an accomplished martial artist. She enters the Brutal Island tournament to use the grand prize money as aide funds to underdeveloped countries. Like Leon, Foxy is humorable, charismatic, and capable in a fight, only much more focused, like Rhei. What she lacks in power she makes up for with her intelligence and sharp intuition. Unlike every other combatant in the tournament, however, Foxy is the only one who isn't in for personal gain, and is willing to give help to anyone whom she feels needs it.

The antagonists

Tai Cheetah

The oldest fighter in the Brutal Island tournament, Tai's decades more of wisdom has honed his martial arts skill to a deadly science. He is also responsible for the mentoring of Kendo Coyote, and would like nothing more than to see Kendo finally surpass him. Even in battle, Tai is calm and collected, and rarely- if ever, panics. Never one to brag but constantly flaunting his superiority, Tai entered the tournament not only to test his abilites, but to see how well Kendo has progressed. Already years past his prime, this may very well be Tai's last stand....

Kendo Coyote
6'2"
220 Lbs

One of the strongest combatants, Kendo Coyote is the erratic yet most sucessful, of Tai Cheetah's students. Arrogant, boisterious, and loud-mouthed, Kendo backs up his constant bragging with his fierce and violent attacks, often ending fights before they can really begin. Still young and learning, Kendo's ability in his first real tournament continues to increase with every fight, and soon may become more than a challenge for his master Tai. While nearly everyone else in the Brutal Island tournament is fighting for the grand prize money, Kendo's insatiable greed gives him more than enough motivation to pulverize anyone who stands in his way.

SHADOW REALM: PI

EZ: Obnoxious Celtic Guardian E-013-Z was once a Sergeant on the CSRPD, and one of the best on the force. However, when his partner, a Lady Assailant of Flames called Elfour, was possessed by a Change of Heart cube used by a criminal and turned on her co-workers, he was forced to use lethal force to stop her. His colleagues were all willing to forgive, but EZ wasnt able to forgive himself, thinking that there must have been another solution (even though he has yet to think of one). Unable to continue as a cop, he resigned, and became a private investigator to make a living.

EZ is admittedly not a nice guy, but he knows that nice often doesnt get the point across when dealing with criminals in the Central Shadow Realm. He possesses a great deal of street smarts, and knows theres always a way out of a bad situation.

Although his current case is promising to be harder than anything he ever handled on the force, EZ refuses to leave it. Perhaps, although he refuses to admit it, he misses the action more than anything else, and still has the sense of duty that he used to.

Sonja: Most Amazons are reluctant to deal with male monsters, and the Amazoness Paladin who calls herself Sonja is no exception. However, when her sister (a Blowpiper named Cora) was bullied by Earnest, she saw little choice but to go to EZ to investigate what looked like a frame-up. This started a very unlikely partnership.

Sonja is a decent warrior (unlike her sister, whos a coward), who is surprisingly willing to share several secrets of her clan. Exactly why she chooses to help the PI whom shes also paying two-hundred a day (plus expenses) is unclear. The best guess is, threatening an Amazon is something that will not go unpunished.

Inspector Gonzap: A Mystic Swordsman LV 6, one of the biggest success stories of the CSRPD. He was born as a Mystic Swordsman LV 2, but like some leveled monsters, he evolved after surviving long enough. After evolving to Level Six after numerous accomplishments, Dupin personally promoted him to Inspector.

Gonzap was EZs old boss, and he still holds out hope that the Obnoxious Celtic Guardian will accept one of his offers to accept his badge back. An admitted workaholic, Gonzap shares a lot of EZs philosophies, such as the ones that say that nice doesnt usually cut it with lawbreakers and that sometimes force is the only thing they understand.

Baron Samedi: As far as Vampire Lords go, Samedi is not the strongest one, nor the weakest one; hes comfortably in-between. Far more social than most vampires, he isnt afraid to be public at times. Currently, hes working on a strange plan, which has begun with using alchemy to create lies in a distilled form. This plan is known to have multiple stages, and the Dark Ruler is helping finance some of them (what Ha Des stands to get in return is not known).

Samedi feels a certain rapport with EZ, because he was once an Obnoxious Celtic Guardian before his old mentor turned him into a vampire. In fact, Samedi doesnt show any desire to hinder the Warrior in the slightest, although he tries to mislead him. Samedis henchmen have other ideas.

Natasha: All Vampire Lords have one or more Vampire Ladies as brides. Natasha is Samedis consort, and he doesnt seem to have any others. Most brides are content to simply be pampered and spoiled by their spouses, but Natasha is actually an important henchman. Samedi has taught her how to fight, among other skills, and uses her as an assassin, spy, and other stealthy activities.

Natasha and EZ have fought at one point, and she nearly made a meal out of him, but he was saved by Sally. Natasha likely will be a threat in the future.

Zero-Five: A Dokurorider, not much is known of this Zombie in Samedis employ, except that he handles jobs that dont require much subtlety or smarts. In other words, hes the best of Samedis hired muscle. But even if hes a thug, he does the job well. (More information later.)

Morphenian: A Patrician of Darkness who once worked for the crime boss Fushioh Richie. He and EZ fought several times, and shortly after Richie was killed by the Dark Ruler, EZ believed he killed him. Unfortunately, Morphenian saved himself with a highly illegal spell cube called a Book of Life, which let him kill another monster (in his case, the coroner assigned to examine him) to save himself. Since his boss was dead and everyone thought he was as well, the Patrician decided to lay low, and only recently came into the light (?) when Samedi hired him. Possessing strange powers and an excellent fighter, this Zombie will likely be a major threat.

Sally: Formerly an Ebon Magician Curran, Sally was an incredibly lucky Level Two monster she found a Level Four who was willing to take her in and give her a decent job as a waitress at the Red Cent. As such, Sally heard a lot of information that she probably shouldnt have, and heard Natasha plotting to kill EZ she foiled the attempt by interrupting the fight with a Gravity Bind cube. EZ tried to get information out of her, and eventually had to obtain a Trial of the Princess cube to make her talk.

Sally recently successfully used that cube, and evolved into a Princess Curran. What she will do with her new form is not known.

Earnest: A Vorse Raider, Earnest was a bad cop and a worse friend EZ knew that well. When strange crimes started to happen, he was the one in charge, and EZ smelled something funny from the start. After being hired by Sonja, he got into a direct fight with the Beast-Warrior. Earnest gave up and started to tell him the truth, but before it all came out, he was struck dead by a poisoned dart thrown by Natasha.

Ashley: A Nekogal #2. EZ rescued her lost sister, and she promised a favor in the future. More info later.

The fic that's gonna bring me back to my Tai/Kendo fic writing glory! The Claremont League, my new romantic, comedic, racially charged trainer fic will be out next month and here are the characters that are gonna help me do it real big in '06 baby!

The Claremont League

Jamie- The main character of the story. One of the few black people in his entire school in that gets preppy white girls and fights preppy white boys everyday. To get him away from all of this, his momma bought him a plane ticket to the Claremont Islands with his best friend Bubba and a Crabby as a starter Poke`mon so he could meet Proffesor Baldcypress (another Poke`mon proffesor with a tree name I know), collect all 9 badges, go to the Claremont League and hopefully become the Claremont League Champion. Jamie is extremely laid back and funny and tends to wild out in moments of excitement but can be serious when needed. Can get violent and would defend any of his close friends.

Bubba- Jamie's best friend since they were babies and his companion in the quest to become Claremont League Champion. Bubba is one of the few non-prepppy white people that are actually down with the black folk. He's not in the Claremont League to compete and win badges but to collect Poke`mon, whoop some ass and pick up girls (unsuccessfully might I add). Bubba's exactly the same as Jamie but is tends to fight more.

Alex- Jamie's love interest in the story. A Puerto Rican beauty that Jamie meets when he and Bubba arrive in the Claremont Islands. She's a groomer that collects cute Poke`mon for competition. She's extremely stubborn and will stick with an idea until the end. Tends to fight alot with Bubba and usually has to go upside his head.

Shafonda- Bubba's ugly ass stalker. She saw him at the airport and immediately fell in love him, which weirded him out and caused him to run away from her. Now every now and again she pops up trying to make Bubba love her (and always fails)

Proffesor Baldcypress- The proffesor of Claremont Island. An angry old man that meets Jamie and Bubba and gives them a really hard time throughout the story, insulting them and their mothers for no reason most of the time.

The Poke` KKK- A radical group that wants to get rid of Poke`mon on the island by killing them off. All members wear white blankets over themselves and is seen often throughout the story trying to capture Jamie's Poke`mon and kill them.

These are basically the only people that are important.

Current Character list, Will modify later.

Fic: Just tell me why! (http://www.pokemasters.net/forums/index.php?topic=44091.0) (Badly named, I know, anyone have a better title for me?) It's a pokemon fic, naturally.

Dietrich Hertz
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Eyes: Black
Hair: Black
Profession: Electrician Apprentice
Pokemon: Styrksyz (Chinchou)
Appearance: Normally seen in a black tank-top and olive-green cargo pants. He wears a pair of insulated gloves that only go up to his first knuckle. His hair is long and kept in a disheveled ponytail.
Personality: Dietrich is a pessimist, first and fore-most. He is also a little lazy and it takes some time for him to lighten up to new things. He does have common sense, though, though this tends to be the reason that he is so pessimistic. He also has a tendency to be insensitive sometimes. Fairly intelligent, Dietrich often is the one to create plans and is often the leader. Despite his rough exterior, Dietrich does care deeply for those he knows closely, but he seldom shows it. He'll be quick to act if any of his friends are threatened, however.
Name Meaning: Dietrich means "Ruler of men" and Hertz means "Heart", though it can also be used to relate to radio frequencies. Both are German in origin, though Dietrich himself is of mixed heritage.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/Kohdok/Kyoko1.pngKyoko Hanshoku (繁殖 強固) (Note: you won't be able to see the Kanji for her name without Japanese text support. Her name is written in the Japanese form with her last name first. The kanji should be read "Hanshoku Kyoko"
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Eyes: Green
Hair: Dyed pink with red tips (Her natural color in unknown, as she has had it this color nearly her entire life)
Profession: Pokemon Breeder Trainee
Pokemon: Lileep (No nickname)
Appearance: Kyoko can normally be seen in a white short-sleeve T-shirt and a pair of jean shorts (But not short-shorts) She has a very strong physique and it is easy to see toned muscles along her body. She keeps her hair in a set of seven pigtails with an eight, longer ponytail in the back. She wears a lime-green cap with a pair of yellow eyes on it that make her head, when combined with her hair, look strikingly like a Cradily's head.
Personality: Kyoko is very enthusiastic and outgoing and seems to live to have new experiences. Her life of her family's particular style of rearing pokemon has made her very strong and she is capable of some nearly superhuman feats. She's not the brightest bulb in the bunch, however, and she often turns to Dietrich when an explanation is needed. She has a loud, boitstrous laugh that she inherited from her father. It is highly un-feminine, as are nearly all of Kyoko's habits. She was raised to be a masculine individual.
Name meanings: Kyoko sounds like a girl's name with the "Ko"(子) sound at the end of her name. However, the Kanji used is "強固", which means "Strong, Stobborn," Both adjectives fit Kyoko's personality, and the name sounds feminine while actually meaning something masculine. "Hanshoku" means "Breeding, reproduction". It wouldn't be fitting on anybody who wasn't in Kyoko's profession.

These are the two main characters for now. I designed them to be complementary, rather than similar, in order to let me keep things mixed-up.

Yu-Gi-Oh: Tilting the Balance

Gerald Laxina: The Chosen of the Light, Gerald may be the least likely hero the world will ever see.

In his childhood, Gerald was an ordinary boy... until his family began to move. A lot. As in, "more than once per year". In the name of his own sanity, he developed a personality that could cope with this - namely, he became unspeakably lazy. As in "fall asleep at every opportunity" lazy.

After the Monster Island tournament came and went, Gerald (nicknamed "the laziest duelist alive" in the national circuit) finally brought the constant movement to a halt - at the age of 20, he set down stakes in Maine, got a job at a bookstore, and managed to bring his life into a reasonable pace.

It couldn't last. During one sleepless evening (irony being what it is, Gerald has insomnia), Gerald had a vision of the Balance, the moral forces behind the universe, and was told it need to be restored. When the Darkness kidnapped a girl (Laura) out of the bookstore the next day - and then dropped the place into a crevice - Gerald was forced to take action. For that reason, he and Chad went to St. Paul.

Currently, Gerald is battling against the minions of Degas and Alexander in the Twin Cities, trying to figure out how exactly to go about restoring the Balance and what the two masters of Darkness are up to. Having rescued Laura, he's settled that part of his trip. But there's something he's not telling about himself, and it's getting in the way of his work...

Gerald's original deck was a Final Countdown deck, based on surviving those twenty turns. However, he's since abandoned that theme for something new: a Direct Damage/Lockdown deck. The core of this theme is to lock out the opponent's monsters with such cards as Messenger of Peace and launch direct attacks with Servant of Catabolism, Mucus Yolk and other such monsters. He also has an Inpachi/Batterymen deck, but that's mostly for show.

As a Chosen of the Light (just "a" - there are some forty of them), Gerald is subject to occasional visions that guide him and his friends on their path. These visions are triggered by defeating Darkness-aligned people, and are rather cryptic for the most part. They also give Gerald searing headaches. He also possesses a Heaven's Gift (a powerful card of Light) known as Heaven's Sphere, which acts as a connection to the Light.

Chad Montmelier: Gerald's close ally, the 22-year-old artist has to confront a question he didn't bother to ask.

Chad doesn't make a secret out of his past, but if you don't ask, he won't tell. An only child, he grew up in Augusta, Maine, and was an artist from early in his life. His two primary interests are painting, mostly in landscapes, and the violin. He's decent at the former and quite accomplished with the latter, but he couldn't bring either of his talents with him on the plane.

Gerald Laxina and Chad Montmelier met when the artist was tricked into dueling away his profits after Gerald bought one of his paintings. The lazier of the two showed up, took out his deck, and won the money back. Since then, the two have associated regularly.

When the Darkness took out Gerald's bookstore and challenged him to come to St. Paul, Chad was the one who drove him there. Almost by default, he came along with Gerald to the Twin Cities, and this has forced him to think. Chad's slowly come to terms with an unpleasant truth: he has no idea what he's doing with his life, or even what he wants to do. He's not even sure why he went with Gerald. The question of "why?" is eating him up.At the moment, Chad is dueling alongside Gerald in the Twin Cities, dealing with the minions of Degas and Alexander. But the question won't let go.

Chad's deck, based in the more wild parts of his spirit, is a Beast/Beast-Warrior deck. His key monsters include Chiron the Mage, Berserk Gorilla, and one of his trumps, Behemoth the King of All Animals.

Laura Vesnic: Freed from her role of distressed damsel, the warrior works alongside her rescuers for the time being.

Questions about Laura's history are ignored at best and threatened with violence at the worst, so she probably didn't have the best childhood. Her only apparent relative is her older sister, Jessica, whom she holds very close. At some point in her life, she took up the martial arts - despite being only five feet and a few inches tall, she could beat both Chad and Gerald into submission if she felt like it. Thankfully, she doesn't often feel like it.

Gerald and Chad first encountered Laura when she walked into the bookstore one day and overheard their conversation. Before she could answer a pressing question, one of Degas and Alexander's servants burst into the store and kidnapped her. She was thus the first of the group to reach the Twin Cities. After spending some time locked in a cage, she challenged her guard to a duel, beat him, and broke out, meeting up with the two guys who'd spent the last two days searching for her as she got out.

Laura is currently working with Gerald and Chad in their battle against Degas and Alexander, mostly out of a sense of "what else should I do?" The two don't know her very well, and so they have to be on guard for whatever secrets the Darkness may dig out of her...

Laura's deck is a non-standard Warrior deck - non-standard in that it possesses no regular Tribute monsters. All of her warriors are Level Four or less; the core of the deck is the Sasuke Samurai group, four monsters with very useful (if situational) abilities, although she has a strong attachment to Zombyra the Dark.

Lucifer Allumette: Why a servant of Dreams is helping the Light is anyone's guess, but he is, and they're the better for it.

Lucifer calls himself "the Beloved of Fire", which appears to be his species as well as his title. What's certain is that he's not human - human beings can't usually turn themselves into fireballs and travel through the air. He appears no older than thirty, but it's more likely he counts his lifespan in the centuries. In addition to the ability to conjure, control, and turn himself into fire, Lucifer possesses five rings on his right fingers, each of which possesses its own power - the Rings of Alarms, Clarity, Purity, Identity, and Haven.

Initially seen spying on Gerald and company in Maine, Lucifer finally met them in person in the St. Paul airport. He continues to aid them, but he can't actually fight alongside them - he is a servant of Dreams, and unfortunately, Dreams is opposed to Shadow, not Darkness. However, he provides them with whatever information he can dig up, since that doesn't go against the rules.

Lucifer has yet to duel, since Dreams can't directly battle Darkness, but it's fairly obvious he uses a Fire deck. His deck differs from the standard in a few ways, though...

And on a last note, he's not faking the accent.

Degas and Alexander: The two men responsible for this entire mess, they are the Hand of Darkness and the Dark Conduit, respectively. Together, they are the center of the newest attempt by Darkness to overthrow the world.

The two men are never seen separate - where Degas goes, Alexander follows. This is partially because they are very close conspirators in this madness and partially because without Alexander around to provide dark energy, Degas isn't nearly as powerful. Not that they're helpless apart; it's simply that they feel no need to work alone.

Degas (if he has a last name, it's unknown as yet) dresses primarily in black and wears sunglasses at all times. He seems to be the sempai of the two, responsible for most of the planning and organization. He possesses many dark powers, but needs a source of dark energy to engage most of them - Alexander comes in handy in this regard. Most of their non-infected minions joined due to his persuasion.

Alexander (he doesn't discuss his last name) dresses primarily in green. He acts as the kohei of the group, possibly since he's less powerful. Aside from being the Dark Conduit (a "dark energy Duracell" as he puts it), Alexander doesn't seem to have a purpose within the two. Before his unfortunate demise, Ogre questioned what Alexander was doing in the group. He seems to be less openly dark than Degas, which could just be the way he is or a sign of some dark and disturbing plot...

Degas and Alexander are currently gathering darkness for unknown schemes. They infected the entire city of St. Paul with the Darkness Infection, turning all those it touched either into helpess comatose victims or, in the case of duelists, vicious servants. In addition to the Darkness Infected and their non-infected servants, they also have access to the four Pillars of Darkness. What their true goal is remains concealed, but the death or infection of Gerald is one major step.

The Divine only knows what their decks are.

Hanzaki: One of the non-Darkness Infected servants of Degas and Alexander, Hanzaki is a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in several layers of shiny silver material.

Who or what Hanzaki is remains a mystery, as he is only ever seen covered head to toe in silver Lycra. The only exposed portion of his body are his red eyes. On the chest of the outfit is a mysterious red symbol, painted in what one can pray is red paint. He seems to add new marks when someone dies.

Hanzaki serves Degas and Alexander as a messenger, although he feels no need to play nice when he delivers messages. He is aided by the power to teleport - apparently, there's no range limit to this ability (he managed to teleport from Augusta, Maine to St. Paul, Minnesota, a distance of several hundred miles as the crow flies). He can teleport others as well, although they need to be willing. There's a pocket behind the symbol on his chest that conceals a Beretta handgun - when needed, he's also Degas and Alexander's executioner.

As a free-roaming messenger, Hanzaki's continued existence is fairly guaranteed. However, he has a few tricks up his sleeve yet. If he duels, it's anyone's guess as to what he'd use.

Father Emil Young: In this time of need, it is a sad sign to see a man of God fall into the service of Darkness.

Father Young is an older man, apparently in his late fifties. He dresses in the standard garb of a priest, with the backwards collar and a cross around his neck, and carries an old, beaten-up Bible under one arm. His eyes reflect a great deal of unpleasantness.

How a priest could find himself on the side of Darkness is unknown. Details are sketchy, but it seems he had a disturbing experience that exposed the lack of faith in his parish. He still acts as and thinks of himself as a priest, although his motives have changed. What is known is that he knows the evil in his actions; he considers himself to be acting for the good of the world by purging it with Darkness, but refuses to consider himself in the right.

Degas and Alexander put a lot of support behind Father Young (and with the failure and execution of Ogre Grunn, Father Young's one-time partner, this has only increased); they have imbued him with a great deal of power. He can tear open the ground with but an exertion of will, and can spread the Darkness Infection through his sermons, even though he is not infected himself. Currently, he continues to preach to those that escaped the initial infection.

Father Young does duel, but it's unknown whether he uses the obvious angelic themes or something darker to reflect his lost faith...

The Pillars of Darkness: The four strongest weapons of the Darkness, the Pillars are the purest embodiments of the Darkness Infection.

The exact process of creating a Pillar of Darkness is involved - first they must be infected with the Darkness Infection, and then coated in dark energy. Once that energy hardens, the subject is entombed in an obelisk of darkness - the Pillar from which their name is taken. After about a year, the subject is a Pillar of Darkness, and ready to be unleashed on the world.

The Four Pillars each embody a different aspect of evil - Destruction, Terror, Chaos, and Death. They cannot walk on the earth without something happening - the Pillar of Destruction cracks the ground with every step, for example. The Pillars can spread the Darkness Infection with a touch, and each possesses a truly powerful Card of Night.

One Pillar has come and gone - Jean-Vic Viper, the Gradius-using Pillar of Destruction, was defeated by Gerald before his plans to corrupt the Cathedral of St. Paul were finalized. The other three are waiting for their turn...

[size=3][B]Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Messiah

Cast of Characters

Jason Conrad: The Chosen of Timaeus. Jason is not the formally elected leader of his small group, but he has a lot of influence in their decisions, and as the first one noticed by the Legendary Dragons, he must have been doing something right. An overachiever, Jason has always jumped at the chance for extra credit and better grades, hoping to become as good as his idol.

Speaking of which, Jasons idol is one of the Trinity, the one and only Seto Kaiba. Jason will freely admit that Yugi was better as far a dueling went, but who did more for the cause of Duel Monsters? Who invented the Disk, opened the theme parks, held the tournaments, and started the first schools?

Thus, Jasons deck theme reflects Kaibas a great deal. He uses the same type of power deck theme that Kaiba used, although lacking the Blue Eyes, he replaced them with Cyber Dragons. He has somewhat of an attachment to Vorse Raider, and has many of Kaibas other cards. Still, Jason does not want to be a clone, and has made many of his own improvements. Why Timaeus chose him and not Critias is a bit of a mystery.

Jason is unsure why any of them chose him. He didnt know much about the Orichalcos to start, and hes eager to learn more. As it promises to become worse before it becomes better, hes willing to put it all into it, just as he does for everything.

Trisha Moise: The Chosen of Critias. Trisha is Jasons girlfriend, and the two are very close (close as in same bed, sometimes). For as long as her family history has kept records, they have all been excellent engineers and mechanics, and family legend says that the patriarch was an assistant to Henry Ford himself.

As a result, Trisha has always used a Machine Deck. Her favorite card is Nanobreaker, since she and this Monster look almost exactly alike. Her deck tends to change as the mood fits her, but she does not use Ancient Gear Monsters or Cyber Dragons, at least not in her actual deck. She has a second deck with special Machines for special occasions.

Trisha has a dark skeleton in her closet. Her older brother Patrick was expelled from the school for cheating. Trisha disowned him and thought shed never see him again, but the shame only worsened when Patrick became a minion of the Orichalcos and challenged Dr. Artemis. The chancellor had no problem defeating the Seal, and Patrick might have been forced to turn informant had his allies not held Sersei for ransom.

Trisha is confused about the powerful card she now holds, but she realizes one thing she holds Critiass power not because she was forced to, but because she chose to. And she will willingly follow it through until she or the Orichalcos falls.

Russell Majors: The Chosen of Hermos. Since the American Civil War, every male member of Russells family (and many female ones) enlisted in the armed forces, and all were proud to be soldiers. Russells father is a two-star General at Fort Bragg, who has received the Congressional Medal of Honor. With influence like that, Russell could have easily entered West Point and prospered as a cadet. But unlike most of his family, Russell heard a different call, and had no military ambitions.

Still, as a duelist, Russell could not get the soldier out of his blood. His deck is made up of powerful Warriors and Warrior accessories; the major players change every so often, but a few remain constant. He doesnt really have a favorite, but he does have a close connection to Freed the Matchless General.

Russell takes dueling as he does most everything seriously. He considers things like honor, loyalty, and bravery things that he doubts the minions of the Orichalcos have as vital qualities. Nothing would hurt him more than having to resort to deception or trickery.

Russell feels that he is in the early stages of a war that will be fought not with guns and missiles, but with cards. Even so, like most wars, the stakes are dire. He considers Hermos to be his CO now, and wherever the Dragon leads him, he will follow.

Cassius: One of the current three Swordsmen of the Orichalcos, he seems to be the oldest of the three, and the one in authority. If he has a last name, he hasnt mentioned it yet. Cassius dresses in outback-style clothing, with a khaki vest, pants, and a hat decorated with animal teeth. He carries a bullwhip and is very good with it.

Cassius once bent a steel railing with his bare hand to intimidate Russell, so he is assumed to be incredibly strong. He also seems to have the ability to make the effects of Spell and Trap Cards real, using them as tools and vehicles. He might have other superhuman abilities as well. Hes clearly a duelist, but he hasnt shown off any of his cards yet. That may soon change as the Chosen get too hard to defeat with mere grunts.

Sebastian: The second member of the Swordsmen, Sebastian (last name currently unknown) is younger than Cassius, is slim but muscular, and has strange tattoos on his arms. He dresses in a black leather shirt with no sleeves and leather trousers.

Sebastian has a short temper and complains often. Cassius once said that everything makes him angry, and Sebastian didnt deny it.

Sebastians agenda in the organization is not known, but he does seem to have some loyalty to his partners. Like Cassius, his deck strategy is not yet known, but it may soon be revealed.

Cleo: Unlike the original Swordsmen, one member of this group is a woman, and her name is Cleo. Again, her last name is unknown, but clues are being dropped. She frequently mentions someone from her past named Lewis An ex-lover or confidant perhaps? It remains to be seen.

Cleo dresses in halters and short skirts, and wears her blond hair so that her long bangs cover the right half of her face. She is a flirt at times, having called even Russell cutie while he was in the middle of a duel with his soul on the line.

Cleo is admittedly the least threatening of the Swordsmen, and thus she seems to be their recruiter at times, scoping out duelists for their organization. Persuasion and gentle words can be tempting to a troubled soul. Possibly, Cleo even possesses some psychic powers that help her discern a persons troubles, and let her bring up the issues that hurt the most.

Again, her deck is unknown, but it might be revealed soon.

Fortunado: A rich man and a movie producer who operates from a penthouse in Manhattan, Fortunado is the apparent leader of the Orichalcos organization. He seems to be about fifty years old, but hes far from frail. While hes usually calm, when he gets angry, he frightens even the Swordsmen. Certainly, his powers must be considerable to command their respect.

His plans seem insane and demented he is recording the Orichalcos duels on film, possibly hoping to create footage for a blockbuster. However, the Orichalcos is not his only tool. He is working with a mysterious individual to conjure up specters of duelists from the first generation of Duel Monsters, and setting them loose on the Academy.

It would seem that Fortunado likely has far darker goals than a simple motion picture, but whatever they are, he keeps them hidden.

He does duel, and hes rich enough to afford almost any card he desires. But what his actual strategy is, is anyones guess.

Sersei: An Obelisk, Sersei Rhineheart has been Trishas rival for a long time, ever since a violent and painful duel when they were both Slifers. Sersei uses a Harpie Deck with a lot of powerful cards, including a Guardians Treasure that technically still belongs to the estate of Mai Valentine-Wheeler.

Shortly after the Orichalcos appeared, Sersei was lured into an Orichalcos duel and defeated, but Fortunado was willing to free her soul in exchange for Patricks release. The confrontation resulted in Timaeus appearing. Although Sersei has a boyfriend, her relationship with him is starting to strain, and shes beginning to turn her eye towards Russell

Dr. Andorra Artemis: The Chancellor of NYC Duel Academy, a woman who no sane duelist crosses. She knows things about Duel Monsters that few others do, because she has privileges given to her by the Council. Though addicted to coffee, her mind works like a well-oiled machine, and if a solution exists to a problem, shell find one.

Trishas brother recently sought revenge for having been expelled by challenging Artemis to a duel and using the Seal. Artemis made him look like an amateur, and actually defeated the Orichalcos by reducing both their Life Points to zero at once (she could have won, but she felt Patrick was more valuable with his soul intact).

Since she was a young girl, Artemis has practiced Jujitsu, and her deck reflects that. Her deck is mostly a Defensive Lock Deck, using Exxod, Master of the Guard as a weapon.

Artemis has put her support behind the Chosen, knowing from start that she wouldnt have been among them. She knows that her student body might well be forced to form into an army, and she can only prepare for when the dark day comes when they will march

Old Ben: The headmaster of the Ra Dorm, Ben (last name not revealed) was once a boxer who was known as The Strongest Left Hand In The Land. However, while vacationing in Australia, he lost his left arm to a crocodile, ending his boxing career. Fortunately, a surgeon replaced his lost arm with a prosthetic one made of metal, letting him keep his nickname.

Like most headmasters, Ben looks out for his charges as best he can, talking sternly when he must, but only for their own good.

Bens original deck was stolen, and he just finished completing a replacement. The strategy involved in unknown, but he has hinted that it is to remind him of how he lost his left arm.

The Dark Messiah: Who is he? What is he? Not even Timaeus, Critias, and Hermos know for sure yet. But the Dark Messiah is a beacon of pure goodness who will come, and whos power will defeat the evil of the Orichalcos in a mighty final battle. Only when the Legendary Dragons regain all the power that was once theirs will this savior be located, and the Orichalcos can be defeated.

For now, wherever he is, the Dark Messiah waits. Why he doesnt come on his own accord, no one knows. Perhaps he is unable to, or he doesnt realize his power yet.

Heaven only knows what cards he has in his deck.

The Pokemon Masters League

More bio's for this lot.

The Arbiter/Grey

Grey is complex. An expirienced trainer, he originally helped Razor Leaf find his feet in the league. After his 'student' began to revolt and outwit his teacher in terms of ability, The Arbiter felt lost. After losing to his student in the 2003 Pokemon Masters League, Grey was a changed man. As BT Street became corrupt he locked himself in his small theatre and stayed there.

A year later, Chris found him learning lines for an Oscar Wilde Play, in the hope that one day he would have an acting ensemble again. Since then he was something of a wise mentor to Chris, offering help and advice, especially when dealing with Razor Leaf.

Since Chris and Razor Leaf's big battle, which subsequently ended in a tie, Grey took more of a back seat in the fic until he was moderated by Cocoa Sting. As the Head Banker, Grey has found himself brought back into the modern day league. His aliance into The Antinodies has also forced him to find a new ally in Razor Leaf.

More soon.

My characters on "Victory, Here I Come"
The main characters will be bold (This is only currently invented characters)

Pete - a wise, level-headed rookie trainer. He's got some knowledge of Pokemon though. I'd say 4.9 on a scale of 1 to 10. He has a good sense of who to trust, and Clyde pulls pranks on him a lot throughout his journey. One day, he will get revenge...(Read the fic to see)

Joan - Very competitive, and careful. She'd rather not deal with any conflict in life, just avoid causing it. In battle, she is inventive and tough. Develops chemistry with Pete later on, though her actual crush at first is Clyde.

Lumina - Boy crazy, and has a crush on Clyde. She and Joan argue a lot at several times and places in the story. She trains her Pokemon to smoothly execute their moves and they are very fast. She traveled from Jhoto to catch new Pokemon, and that's how she ran into Clyde, who was taking the S.S. Anne for a party cruise.

Clyde - He is hotheaded at the slightest comment, but when around Joan, he is rather calm. She has some kind of (hint!) effect on his emotions. He just doesn't know what that is... Clyde is very encouraging to his Pokemon, especially during battles. When it comes to parties, he is very interested. If you insult his Pokemon, run!

Aiden - Serruptitiously cracks jokes and steals things at times. Aiden isn't ALL bad, he simply has no control over his sneaky ways. When counted on for keeping a secret, he usually always blabs about it to someone. Not the "friend" type of guy, if ya know what I mean.

Pokemon Cast Pete(At the moment)

Temp = Temporary

Ivy(Bulbasaur) - A girl with attitude! Ivy doesn't always let everyone in to know her real self...but she is fond of her trainer, Pete, and will do anything to see to it that he is safe, and if she could speak would confide unto him. She sees him as a sort of child that needs her love and nurturing, but she does realize he is HER trainer. At times she can get adamant about certain things and secretly sassy, but adores seeing her trainer happy and hanging out with him. She has jealously buried deep in her towards one of Pete's Pokemon he will get.

Newcomers

Smoochum (Is given to him by a mother Jynx)- description coming soon...

Tangela (temp)- he rescues it from a mudslide in Pewter and returns it to its owner, Aiden. Tangela is curious and peppy. It gets into a lot of trouble often.

Spearow - Very quick in fights. Naturally thinks he can just be rude to Pete's other Pokemon. One of the episodes will change him for the better, and show him the error of his ways...

Horsea (spotted at the outskirts of Cerulean and caught after a battle) - intelligent, and a very good battler, very shy, and Ivy always tries to cheer him up.

Jolteon - (Is found terrorizing Celadon City because her trainer left her, but she meets Pete and allows him to catch her) Can snap at you if you laugh at her for the slightest thing, but is overall a nice Pokemon.

Magby(is from the island that has different colored Pokemon, that Professor Brock liked is Lumina's mom)- He is a calm, adventurous Pokemon. He is given to Pete by Lumina, who cannot get along with him because she can't groom him well enough and he loses battles with her.

RESERVED FOR SOME FIGHTS:

Graveler - Ruthless battler that is only used in gyms and other tough fights

Natu (rarely used at first, caught WAY later on islands) - description not yet available

Machop - saved from an evil organization in Vermilion City, doesn't socialize much, she just likes to run.

(Clyde's Pokemon)

Charmander - rather laid-back, but fights when it has to

Poliwag - a dancing fool that fights evasively

Beedrill - dangerous in fights, but actually is very shy

(Joan's Pokemon)

Squirtle - Dislikes battling, but will if ordered to or if a friend is in danger

Butterfree - A happy female Butterfree that obeys Joan at all times in return for her kindness.

(In the PC)

Voltorb - not much is known except that it does not stay around her other Pokemon much

(Aiden's Pokemon)

Tangela - mischeivious, that's all there is to say.

Shuckle - evades attacks well in battle and is shy

Tentacool - (caught in the waters of Vermilion) Is slightly mean, but is constantly scolded by Aiden

..... so who wants the first tidbits of the main characters for the sequel to Bloody Sword? Other than darktyranitar? I'll try to keep spoilers to a minmum.

Serah Gize
------------------

Your average country girl from East Namerik. Royal blood runs through Serah's (pronounced "Sear-ah") veins, totally unbeknownst to her until her 19th birthday. Unfortunatley, not everyone is happy about this news, especially the king's son who now finds himself as the former sucessor to the throne, losing his spot to Serah. So the prince arranges for a band of thugs to kidnap Serah and execute her far away from public eye, lest he be linked to Serah's "disappearance." Unfortunatley for Serah, the kidnapping part goes as planned. But as for the execution...

Samilles Allon
---------------------

A battle-hardened mercenary and bounty hunter who shows both allies and enemies alike no mercy. He wields two lightweight single-handed swords with deadly skill. Just before Serah could be executed, Samilles ambushes the thugs, taking them all on at once, and killing each with brutal efficiency (though completley oblivious to Serah's plight). Knowing that her life is now constantly in danger, Serah begs Samilles to protect her. Without any money however, Samilles initially refuses, until Serah promises him a portion of the royal teasury if he helps her regain her rightful place on the throne.

If you have a fanfic, feel free to use this thread to share the details of the cast. We'd all love to see it.

Core cast of Battle Earth, hoooooo!

Akihara Ryuuji
Short version: The dueling equivalent of the happy-idiot Shonen retard.
Longer version:
Appearance: Black hair a spiky pattern, black eyes. Tall but thin, he's got enough muscle so that he doesn't have to worry about being mugged for lunch money, but not enough to stop himself from getting his butt handed to him when he jumps in to save those who are.
Personality: Cheerful, hyper, but not too smart. Has a tendancy to act before thinking. A bit of a wuss when it comes to pain, he nevertheless charges into whatever he needs to, Disk at full. He likes dueling above all else, and has been known to spend an entire month's pay on cards without thinking. (Fortunately for him, his landlord is willing to gamble a month's rent on a duel.)
Notes: As is customary with idiots, he's got luck out the ass. Dropped a 1000-yen bill? Ryuuji finds it. Rocks falling? Everyone dies 'cept for Ryuuji who stands in the one spot they didn't hit looking dumbfounded. 50 life points left, no monsters, no hand? Topdeck Coins from Heaven to save the day. Gets into a fight? ... well, er... He hasn't broken any bones in those... yet...
Notes 2: Also, has a myriad of random skills that most can and will deem "useless".

Jigokubana Shin
Short version: Ryuuji's rival, the smart pessimistic bastard.
Longer version:
Appearance: Tall but lanky. No true muscle. Disguses thin frame with bigger clothes, such as pants, shirts, trenchcoats, etc. Generic Everyman Japanese Black Hair. Red streaks in said hair. Piercing light blue eyes.
Personality: Pessismtic but observant of stituations. A good analyzer and observor of people, he seems strikingly callous not of malice but a lack of interest. Not one for pain or fighting, he prefers psychological intimidation due to lack of muscle when dealing with people. He'll gladly let others run in head first before himself, partially for kicks, partially for information. Considers Dueling to be a rather interesting means to an end. Eccentric, he prefers darker colors and is prone to finding exotic ways of sleeping. Oddly, not sarcastic. Points out the truth, but not snarky about it.
Notes: Infamous for people finding him sleeping on his oven, his ceiling, in a dog cage, among other things.
Notes 2: Finds the battle phase of Duel Monsters completely dull, preferring to see the effects of monsters, spells, and traps. He seems to win less by luck and more by careful planning. Has a respectable win-loss ratio.
Notes 3: Despite his dry personality and oddball clothes, he objects towards being called a goth.

'Stephen' (Suta Hanu) (寿悔帆雨)
Short version: The strange one, with a thing for aquatic creatures.
Longer version:
Appearance: Green eyes, Black hair with a dark-blue shine to it, Mullet-esque (Short Bangs, Long in back), Is about 5'4", and a lean but rounded body. Wears simple clothing if he can, avoids bright pastels and neon colors. Likes blue. And pants. He has 長江女神 tatooed on his upper arm but regrets only the pain of getting a tatoo.
Personality: Cheery, but not dense, he tends to be serious unless he feels like being goofy. Has a tendency to announce obvious facts to everyone, such as what the weather is like and what his lifepoints are. Questions reality often, but often the questions aren't very good. "Hey, reality, what's for lunch? I want tacos. Even if they ARE expensive. Of course, you could fix that. A WILD FLEET OF JAPANESE COWS, IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK?". He entered the tournament seeking the monatery reward because he'd totally like to be able to go to an overseas school. He wants to be a Marine Biologist. Why does he play duel monsters then? It's fun. Much better than saving up the money working in a convienience mart. He keeps a large salt water aquarium at home. His favorite classes in high school were Western Literature and Biology. He originally wanted to become a Marine Biologist because he liked Chinese River Dolphins and the idea of helping them. Kind of late now though.

Jouhou Hoshino
Short version: The slightly-ditzy reporter girl.
Longer version:
Description: Messy, unkempt look, as if she just crawled out of the closet. Light purple hair, short in the back with a tiny bit of hair in a low ponytail, fluffy bangs in front, with long eartails.
Personality: A get-up-and-goer, hates sitting around doing nothing, and loves being in the middle of the action (to the point where sometimes she doesn't know when to just run away). Wants to be a reporter, eventually, but her problem is that she can not remember ANYTHING, which is why she always has a pen behind her ear, and a notepad in her back pocket to write stuff down with. Often seen scribbling stuff down. Questioning and inquisitive, enjoys learning about people. Doesn't much like being touched though, and gets irritated when people poke or pat her. Has a knack for electronics, cameras and filming media equipment in particular, due to growing up with it.

I may update this later when more of the cast is introduced. For the record, though, Shin, Stephen, and Hoshino were made by friends of mine, as well as pretty much all the recurring characters.

The cast of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Legend of the Sorcerer Kings

YAY!

Yumi Mouto: The daughter of Yugi Mouto Jr. and granddaughter of the first Yugi Mouto and Joey Wheeler, she is the end result of the lineage of two great duelists. She has inherited both the dueling skill of her family lines and the Millennium Item of her fathers side. She also has an arrogant streak that she did not get from anyone. Though she is close to the Puzzles occupant, she knows that he is getting restless, and has made it her goal to set him free, no matter what it takes.

Yumis deck is far more organized than most of her relatives, focusing mostly on Spellcaster Beatdown. Although she has Dark Magician, her familys signature card, in her deck, she finds herself more drawn towards Dark Magician Girl. Indeed, her deck has more female Monsters in it than her two grandfathers did, containing Gemini Elf and Injection Fairy Lily as well as Magicians Valkyria. While some would say Yumi is carrying on a legacy, she truly wants to start one of her own.

Ren Marris: The son of Clive Marris and his wife Phoebe, Ren has known Yumi since the two of them where small children. Ren has always been known as one who went out of his way to look for thrills, and like Joey Wheeler before him, is a natural maverick. Ren likes to play old-fashioned music on his guitar, and provides a morale boost when his friends are feeling down. Ren shares an ambiguous relationship with Chelsea that he is not yet willing to admit.

Ren took to dueling easily, but did not adapt his fathers Dark Scorpions. Instead, Ren composed a deck of other Dark Warriors, such as Dark Blade and the Dragon Union Monsters that go with him. Other Warriors include Getsu Fuhma (a card his dad did have), Zombyra the Dark, and The Fiend Megacyber. Right before coming to Duelatopia, his dad gave him the priceless Crescent Moon Queen card, and she is quickly becoming the ace of Rens deck.

Chelsea Ramset: The daughter of Peter and Josephine, Chelsea found at an early age that she could see and communicate with the spirits of the dead. Exactly how she got this power, she doesnt know She merely accepts it as it is. She was always brave, and was never afraid of them. Because of this, and because her father used Archfiends in his deck, she uses a different creature of darkness in hers vampires. This includes a card that her father designed especially for her, Penelope, the Lady of the Night. She has a slight crush on Ren, but like him, will not admit it.

Chelsea has a powerful will, and will not be taken advantage of by anyone, nor will she let anyone else fight her battles for her. She is more than willing to duel anyone who thinks she is an easy target, and most regret thinking such opinions after dealing with her when she is angry.

Samantha Arachne: The daughter of Sheena Arachne and the late Siegfried Kaiba, Samantha (Sam to most) considers herself to be the heir apparent to the legacy of Seto Kaiba. Her attitude mirrors that of her great uncle; arrogant, vain, and egotistical, and her goal is similar: to become the worlds greatest duelist. To do so, she must eventually defeat the heir of Kaibas rival, meaning Yumi. Sam and Yumi hold a truce for the time being, but they both know that they will eventually duel in Duelatopia, where the one who is truly deserving of the mantle of Queen of Games will be determined.

Sam has gone through many decks, but has apparently finally found one that is based on her heart a Fiend Deck with Dark Ruler Ha Des as the primary focus. Sam often goes so far as to call herself the Consort of Ha Des. The best explanation she can give for this preference is that Ha Des, like her father and great uncle, is a rich multi-millionaire who owns an empire. Maybe not the most perfect match, but fitting, in a way.

Erik Matell: Sams boyfriend, and also her unofficial bodyguard, little has yet been revealed about how the two of them met. However, Erik is both chivalrous and loyal, and is quick to defend his beloved. He and Sam have a deal: She can duel anyone who makes a proper challenge, but anyone who has the gall to insult her is taught a lesson by him.

Erik is a pretty good duelist as well. His deck uses toy Monsters, such as Toy Soldiers, Toy Emperor, and the very rare Toy Dragon. When asked why he uses toys, his response so far has been Why not?

Anastasia Pegasus: The daughter of Maximillion Pegasus, Anastasia was Yugi Jr.s first foe, who tried to lure him into a grand trap with the intent to kill him in order to gain revenge on the elder Mouto. But that was long ago Anastasias soul was saved and redeemed, and she now exists as a benign spirit. She even went so far as to become Yumis guardian angel, a job she is dedicated to with every fiber of her being. Now, she has been allowed to show herself to Yumi, because the time has come to help the Pharaoh leave the world. She can detect the Shadow Charms when they awaken, and intends to help Yumi collect them before they fall into evils hands.

In life, Anastasia was undefeated as a duelist before her duel with Yugi Jr. Now, it is questionable whether she is even still able to duel. In Heaven, there is no need to compete, and there is no violence. Still, as someone with such close ties to Duel Monsters, Anastasia keeps a copy of every card ever created in her spiritual vault. Thus, if she ever did need to duel, she likely could create a deck with any strategy imaginable.

Cassandra: Little is known about this strange fortuneteller. She has the authority to upgrade a tournament guests status, so she presumably works for KaibaCorp, but other than that, not much is known. She has odd powers which apparently stem from the Astral Plane, the endless void where the powers of the mind originate. If one seeks to duel her, hed best be prepared for what she calls a Game of the Mind. This special type of duel seems to be a more benign version of a Shadow Game, where Monsters are conjured from pure thought.

As a duelist, Cassandra uses the Arcana Force cards once used by Sartorious. Exactly how she obtained these cards is not known. Cassandras goals at this point are mysterious. She seems to want to help Yumi, but she is content to stay on the sidelines for now.

Rasputin: A big figure in the European underworld and leader of the League of Ascension, Rasputin was born in Austria in the Seventeenth Century. Rasputins stance is that humanity does not need higher powers to function, and that any entities worshipped as gods are, in reality, frauds and meddlers. He concedes that they may be powerful, but power does not give them the right to shape mankinds destiny, in his opinion.

With so little faith, Rasputin believes that nothing exists beyond death but dust. Fearing oblivion, he has used alchemy for the past four-hundred years to keep from aging. But his time is running out, and he must find another way to become immortal. He seeks the eight Shadow Charms, which will supposedly grant godlike power. To that end, he has become active both in the world of Duel Monsters and European organized crime.

Rasputin has been seen using an Ice Deck, and is also known to have a Fire Deck. He may have others as well.

Nicholas: Sixteen years old, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a boyish face, much of Nicholas is shrouded in mystery. Presumably from Great Britain (due to his accent), he is one of Rasputins two wards. A duelist of no small skill, his true deck has a strategy that is both powerful and terrifying.

It isnt known if Nicholas has any goals outside of Rasputins, or just what he gains from being with Rasputin. What is known is that he seems to have a crush on Yumi Where this will lead, only time will tell.

Olga: Nicholass surrogate sister, also from Britain, Olga is a young beauty with blonde hair in long braids, and sky-blue eyes. Again, not much is known about her past, but if someone refers to Rasputin as her father, she is quick to correct him. He is her guardian, but it is not known what she gains from him as yet.

Olga is also a duelist of no small skill. Her true deck uses a strategy that can defeat her opponent in one swift stroke, if the right conditions are met. Her secrets will likely remain dark for now.

Louis: A hulking, muscular, simian-looking man who dresses in a custom-made Italian suit, Louis was once a penny-ante thug in the European underworld before Rasputin hired him. Now, Louis is a combination of bodyguard, manservant, and gofer; not the most dignified position, but it pays much more than he ever used to make, so he doesnt complain. Louis isnt too bright, but thats the way Rasputin likes him his low intelligence ensures his loyalty.

It isnt known if Louis is a duelist at all. He doesnt appear to be a tournament guest, so if he does duel, he might be waiting for a special occasion.

The cast for "Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Six Avatars". This will be updated when new developments and characters appear in the story.

Forte Rosamund: Also known as the "Devil Man" in the duelling circuit and one of the top duellists in Australia. He uses fiends, namely Dark Ruler Ha Des, to ruthlessly dominate his opponants. He's arrogant, snide and at some times downright cruel. He admits he was orphaned and was never adopted. However, when questioned further, he gets angry and lashes out.

Lately, he's lost the passion of duelling due to his opponants being "too easy". Things looked up when he heard of a contest in which the winner goes to Domino, hoping to challange Yugi. During the competition he met Rose and acquired the avatar of darkness Dark Lancer Menithil. However, an organization called Dogma now pursues him for the card, re-routing his flight and overall throwing a wrench in his plans. He's admited that he doesn't care about Dogma's plans and only cares about finding and defeating Yugi. He was shot in the foot in a duel against Karmov.

Reece Armaverick: Forte's best friend and fellow duellist. He uses a thunder deck (namely Batterymen) and though while he and Forte trade insults sometimes, they remain firm friends. He entered the tournament for the Domino trip, but was defeated in the semi-finals. He accompanied Forte to Japan simply to "watch him get his ass handed to him by Yugi".

Rossette "Rose" Tansmern: A young woman Forte met during the tournament. While she and Forte teamed up to beat on a guy who was harrassing her, the two got off on the wrong foot, insulting eachother and generally not liking eachother. She has enough money to go to Japan, but figured winning the tournament would give her more spending money. She uses a plant deck.

Gabriel: The enigmatic leader of the organisation Dogma. Upon learning that Forte has the avatar, he at first attempted to recruit Forte via a telepathic dream. When that failed, he sent Replica and Karmov to retrieve it. His plan is to use the avatars to reopen the gaes between the Shadow Realm and Earth, though for whatever reason is unknown at the moment. He has some skills in telepathy and whatever other powers he has is yet to be revealed. He has some respect for Forte, as well as for his employees.

Eurydice: Gabriel's caretaker. A mysterious woman who's always by his side. She shows little to no emotion at all.

Dimitri: A mysterious man who met with Forte after his duel with Replica. He transported Forte and Reece to his castle where he explained to them the avatars and what is going on. He was shocked to find that Forte had no interest in assisting him in taking down Dogma. He duels Forte in order to take the avatar from him and defeats him using the mysterious Crystal Beasts. However, afterwards, he allows Forte to keep it. What he has planned for Forte is unknown.

Replica: a duellist for hire hired by Gabriel. He was sent to find the avatar but lost track of it when Forte got hold of it, only to find it a few days later when Forte first played it. Disguising himself as a pilote, he re-directed Forte flight and challanged him to a duel, using a copy of Forte's deck. He was defeated, but his actions allowed Dogma to now track Forte's movements.

Karmov Gurov: A Russian Military officer working for Dogma. He challanges Forte to a duel at gunpoint and shoots him in the foot when Forte thinks that the avatar has made him a God. He is a man of honour who respects his opponants. He ran a machiner's deck, but was defeated by Forte. As promised, Karmov withdrew and left Forte in peace.

Orion: A member of Dogma. Seems a lot more crass than the others, caling Karmov an idiot for not simply shooting Forte. What deck he plays, along with everything else about him is yet to be revealed.

?????: A mysterious youth who is a member of Dogma. He questions Gabriel about the avatars' use and after Forte's duel with Karmov, says there's something familier about Forte. Just who is he?

Well since i got my first one going i may as well post in here too.
My chars were all from RPG's and as such their background was all done in signups therefore my opener may not explain much but it will in the Future.

The opening 3 main charachters for now. Dont want to spoil Chapter 2.

Sins of the Blood
-----------------

Keruga V'yorn (aka Gav)
A Feran daemon which is kinda like a werewolf except for 2 things. A: he changes from Cat to Human and B: The cat is his true form, he is not and never was a Human. Stands roughly 6ft tall and Wears blue jeans. Has Jet black fur all over his body except his chest and Muzzle which is grey. In human form he wears a black t-shirt and trainers with short black hair.
Works as a hospital porter by Day and Vampire Hunter at night. Was outlawed from the Feran clans as a youngster (which we will go into in the story) and travelled the world. Hes basically a pest to both the Vampire nation and the Daemon clans. Has become a fan and pseudo-expert on human culture and likes to add what he thinks are 'witty remarks' in his battles (too much tv)

Sakea Saagran
Keruga's childhood friend. A female Feran, roughly 5ft 6 with fiery orange fur and the faintest of striping. Unlike Keruga she also keeps her human hairstyle in Cat form which is a deep red and hangs back in a ponytail (i did have a pic of her thanks to B4's colouring skills, ill see if i can dig it out). She hasnt adapted to human life as she has been living with the clans as a combat instructor for the young. She is unhappy with the clans however (again we will go into this) As such she still wears Feran attire and hasnt chosen a human name.

Ashram (baddie boo hiss)
Lord of the Vampires Ashram is a dangerous individual. Tall and wiry in build he is plenty powerfull despite his build and has powers beyond that of most Vampires. Has a sadistic side and a taste for the theatrics but other than that not much is known. It is said however that he is following somewhat of a personal agenda.

Edit: Ok i found my Sakea pic. The original pic isnt mine its just something i found that matched what i imagined her to look like and then asked Bulbasaur 4 to colour it for me.

Oh! I want to play! Get ready for the next thrilling instalment of fandom....

Fred the Freaky Barber

Cousin Fred/Fred/Nephew Fred/Freaky Fred: The freaky barber. He likes to think and sometimes speak in rythms. He ends things often in naughty. He loooove to shave things. He just does. When something fluffy comes his way, he just wants to clip and snip 'till his hearts content.
He use to own a barber shop, have a girlfriend, and led a fairly sane life, until he snapped and got caught. Now, he lives in the Home for Freaky Barbers, but at times, he gets out on what he calls 'holidays.'

Delorus Heck An ex-ringmaster. She was kicked out and carted away when she attacked Mimes for being too loud. She's Fred's first victim after the Home's for Messed up Circus folk are forced to move in with the barbers. She's a sweet southern bell type, but when she's in ringleader mode, stay far away, she's good with a whip and is really nasty, although she never remembers these out breaks of violent. Her brain replaces the memories she doesn't remember with false ones, ones that usually involve a cheering crowd, or her in the right. She's the youngest daughter of the Nowhere Hecks.

Courage the Dog The farmer and his wife have left for vecation, so who better than Fred and his new friend to come and watch the house? He's afraid of everything, but he'll get enough courage to find out what these two freaks are up too. He met Fred once before, and was shameful shaved in the processe.

Eustace Bagge He's a farmer, and hates that stupid dog. They've 'won' a trip to France, but no dogs are allowed, so Courage has to stay home. One might think this bitter, and bad tempered farmer is up to something.

Muriel Bagge She's the farmer's wife, and loves Courage dearly. She's very upset that she has to leave her Courage behind, but she knows her nephew Fred will take care of him while she's gone.

(There! Much better ^_^) (Updated)

In an attempt to break myself of this crazy mold I've put myself in, I'm going to write character profiles for the main set of characters in Academy. My theory is that in writing this down, I'll finally force myself to actually start writing again -- the work's in my head, and I know exactly what I want to write... but writing... is a pain in the ass... anyway -- onward:

ACADEMY

Robert Graveman
Graves is an easy-going character. He's got a lot going for him, and he believes himself to be one of the greatest battlers at the Wandering Islands. Unfortunately though, he clearly has a lot more to learn. Physically, he's an attractive student -- long brown hair and eyes, tall and average-built; unfortunately for him, his cocky attitude and knack for sarcasm causes most people to dislike him. While being an above-average student, he never takes things seriously, and it really starts to get him in trouble later on.
Currently, his team consists of Meren'dal, his blue-colored ralts. He and Dal have an impressive relationship despite not knowing one another for very long -- they share a psychic connection using Dal's telepathy; apparently, Dal has been "looking for" Graves for quite some time.

Josh Sterne
Josh is Graves' best friend and has been for quite some time. He has similar character traits to the protagonist, but is more caring and has a greater sense of humor. Josh rarely likes confrontations and usually gets along with everyone he meets. He has a crush on the team leader, Adites Freeman, but hasn't gotten around to expressing it. Time will only tell if his feelings develop into something more.
Presently, Josh has two pokmon -- a magby baby he caught back home named Moxy, and a nidoran named Arcadia.

Adites Freeman
Adites is of many things -- observing, obsessive, on time (always), and organized. A self-proclaimed Jesus Freak and somewhat of a prude, but she's not above having a good time. She's the leader of Team 7, and the most mature member of the group. She was appointed team leader after acing a test issued by her instructor, Professor Knowles. Very manipulative, she manages to trick Graves into thinking that she's a ditz with pokmon. This may be a ploy, however, as it's pretty clear that she has an attraction to Robbie. She doesn't feel the same way about Josh as he does her, much to his dismay, but she hasn't let him know.
Adites' team consists of two members -- an unnamed metapod, as well as an unnamed dratini whom was given to her by her friends in Chicago. It is implied that she doesn't like battling with Dratini, however, since she'd prefer to use pokmon that she caught herself.

Here is my latest cast, the cast of "Yu-Gi-Oh! Soul of Silicon"

Yumi Mouto: Now separated from the Pharaoh, Yumi is trying hard to be her own duelist without supernatural help. It has been hard both Chelsea and Ren have beaten her on occasion since Duelatopia. When Daala demands that she enter her virtual world, she at first wants to go alone. Fortunately, she learns that she is never alone.

Yumis deck is still Spellcaster Beatdown, but it has undergone some changes. Whether or not she can change it further in Xanadu is unclear. If she can make herself stronger, she certainly will. Her ace card is Dark Magician Girl.

Ren Marris: Now going out with Chelsea, Ren is hoping to be the hero on his own in some way. He almost jumps at the chance to join Yumi when Daala strikes, thinking it his chance to make a difference. Possibly, he isnt aware how deadly Xanadu is, but he is anxious to support Yumi like he did the last time.

Rens deck is, in his terms, a Shadow Warrior Deck, which focuses primarily on Warriors of the Dark Attribute. He has improved it substantially since Duelatopia, adding more powerful cards. His ace card is Crescent Moon Queen, a very rare Monster once owned by his father.

Chelsea Ramset: Very much in love now that Ren has admitted his affections, Chelsea joins Yumi because she feels it is her responsibility, and she owes her too much. Sadly, she soon finds that her ghost whisperer abilities cease to function in the world of Duel Spirits, leading her to question her choice, even though it is too late to turn back.

Chelsea still uses a Zombie Deck, with a focus on vampires. She has added some new and more powerful cards. Vampire Genesis remains a potent force, as does Penelope, the card her father designed especially for her.

Sam Arachne: Still Yumis rival, still promising to defeat her someday, Sam convinces her mother to let her go with Yumi to Daalas domain, saying that its her responsibility. In reality, she wants to do so because she doesnt want Yumi to hog the glory. Sam enters an uneasy truce with her rival for the time being, knowing that competing will harm their chances of survival.

Sam still plays a Fiend Deck, a fact that Joan does not seem to have a problem with. Dark Ruler Ha Des is the centerpiece, and Sam has added many new surprises since she last dueled competitively. She also has a mysterious card that her mother arranged for I2 to design especially for her. The identity of this card is unknown for now.

Erik Matell: At first, it would seem that Erik is still riding on the coattails of his girlfriend, and acting as her unofficial bodyguard. But his reasons for going to Xanadu lie beyond that. After he defeated Claret, the mission that he was unknowingly preparing for was fulfilled. Now, Erik believes he needs a new mission, and a new purpose. If he must accompany his allies into dangerous territory to find that purpose, he will.

Erik plays a Toy Army Deck, full of Monsters that resemble figments of childhood imagination. This image of innocence was a key factor in helping defeat Claret in the first place. He no doubt has improved his deck further since then. His ace card is Toy Dragon.

Nicholas Algernon: Nicholas has been given a new name and identity from Scotland Yard after being put in witness protection, and convinced them to relocate him and Olga to Domino. Yumi has forgiven him for the past, and the two are now in love. Now, unable to enter the Xanadu, Nicholas is still determined to help Yumi. He seeks information on the outside, investigating the criminal element, trying to find the secrets behind Daala.

Nicholas has left his previous three decks behind, and now uses a Six Samurai Deck. Most of the cards in the deck were confiscated by Yumi from the harvester devil Samen, and given to Nicholas as a gift. Nicholas certainly has made some adjustments of his own, making him a force to be reckoned with.

Olga Warren: Olga has decided to stay with her surrogate brother and relocate to Domino. Now that Rasputin is dead and Unus has fallen, her father is avenged, and her lifelong quest is fulfilled. Now, like Erik, she needs a new purpose, so she accompanies her brother on his quest to uncover the secret of Xanadu from the outside.

Olgas deck is a Fairy Deck, but it fluctuates and changes. The cards she has for one duel might be different than the ones for the next. However, she always has Neo-Parshath the Sky Paladin, the card that represents her father.

Sheena Arachne: The CEO of KaibaCorp, Sheena is certainly not pleased by the fact that a terrorist has stolen control of her companys computer. Determined that Daalas attack will fail, just like all criminals who attack KaibaCorp, she is putting all her effort into not only regaining control, but to somehow find a way to help her five interns defeat Daala. To that end, she is willing to employ Nicholas and Olga. However, knowing that their methods may be unorthodox, she has given them a condition, in the tradition of Mission: Impossible; If they are killed, captured, or arrested, she will deny that she even knows them.

Sheena is still a duelist, a pastime that goes back to her days as a Duelatopia Eliminator. She plays an Insect Deck, and as the head of KaibaCorp, she has access to many rare and powerful cards. Her ace card, however, is a mystery, as she rarely uses it. Certainly, she does not use it for just any duel.

Guardian Angel Joan: Joan is a powerful and benign Duel Spirit who is the head of the rebellion in Xanadu. According to her own words, she began as a Fairy with another name in her home dimension, where her greed led her to steal power. For her crime, she was cursed with the form of Marie the Fallen One, but after years of hard work, found redemption and became St. Joan, and then gained even more power, to become Guardian Angel Joan.

Joan was led to Xanadu at the request of a third party whom she cannot identify. She quickly built her temple, and used virtual technology to create virtual constructs, duelists such as Jesse who can combat Daalas minions. So long as Joan is alive, Daala cannot use her executive powers as queen of Xanadu to apprehend anyone without cause, unless he loses a duel. As a result, Daala has ordered Joans death, but Joans temple cannot be entered by Daala or any of her minions. It is the one place in Xanadu where Daala has no influence. Sadly, Joan can never leave the temple for this reason.

Joan believes that if all six of the Realms of Xanadu were to fall under her control, it would be safe to mount an assault on the Core Realm, where Daala draws her power from. She also hopes that Yumi and her friends, who possess true life, unlike most of her men, can take control from Daalas governors. She now acts as their mentor, pointing them in the right directions, and has given them aid in the form of Deck Lords.

It seems likely that Joan would be able to duel herself if she was threatened. It would be easy to say that her deck was a Fairy Deck On the other side of the table, it may be that she uses a more unique and more powerful strategy that no enemy would expect.

Daala: The mysterious ruler of Xanadu. Daala presents her appearance as a young, attractive woman who tends to dress in revealing outfits. A wreath of dark flames surrounds her head like a sinister halo the purpose of these flames is not known. Whether or not this is her true form, it is impossible to tell.

Daala claims that she is the Queen of Games in Xanadu. She commands a vast army of humans (many of which are virtual constructs), Duel Spirits, and other creatures, all of whom use dueling as a means of combat. Her second-in-command is a Skull Knight it is not known whether or not this is the same Skull Knight that was once a follower of Supreme King Jaden, but everyone in Xanadu fears him as the second-best duelist in Daalas army (the best being Daala herself, most likely).

Daalas reasons for bringing Yumi and her friends to Xanadu are not yet known, but she seemed to actually want Joan to recruit them. It isnt known how long Daala will continue to watch, and when she will get up and face them personally. Having said that, the gods alone know at this point what sort of deck she uses. Possibly, she has more than one.

Boy, its been a long time since anyone has gone back to this post. Im posting my most recent cast to remind everyone that its here, and to encourage its use again.

So, here is the cast of my most recent fic, Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds: Shadowchasers. This is subject to change.

Ember: The narrator of the story, as well as a Shadowchaser in training. Originally, she was nothing more than a secretary for the financial tycoon Anthony Draco, and while her cousin was a duelist of some caliber in the Pro Leagues, it was nothing more than a hobby for her. However, sometime before the start of the story, her eyes started to open to the world hidden behind the veil, until finally they were forced wide open when the ophidia assassin Hebi-Na tried to kill her under the orders of a Shadowkind who didnt want them opened. Shichiro rescued her, and told her that the only way she would be safe as an Aware was to join them. Ember reluctantly did so.

Since then, Ember has become Jinxs apprentice, and has shown remarkable progress. She is quickly becoming a better duelist, and is learning how to fight and how to adapt.

Ember plays a Fire Beatdown Deck. She uses the Fire Attribute, but eschews the Burn strategies that most such decks use, preferring to use raw strength. Her favorite card is the Synchro Monster, Flamvell Urquizas, and she also has most of the other Flamvell Monsters.

Osaka Shichiro: Currently nineteen years old, Shichiro is the seventh of seven brothers, and is the son of a man who was also the seventh of seven brothers. Legend says that such men might possess odd powers, and it is the only explanation he can think of as to why he became Aware five years ago.

Two years ago, Shichiro pursued an unauthorized project that has haunted him to this day. He claims that he thought a Sensitive person could become Aware through training, and took one as an apprentice without Jalals consent. It is also known at this time that Shichiro had some sort of connection to Team Satisfaction, leading one to believe that this apprentice may have been one of them. However, the experiment ended badly. Shichiro blames himself for the unfortunate events that led to the groups disbandment, and all of the misfortunes of their members, regardless of the actual truth. He has become rather bitter because of it, but he will still do his duty as a Shadowchaser to the best of his ability. He has a strong sense of justice, if nothing else.

Shichiro plays a Synchro Warrior Deck, which uses Warriors and Tuners to summon Warrior-Type Synchros, such as Colossal Fighter and Nitro Warrior. For the longest time, he refused to include Junk Warrior in his deck, as it reminded him too much of one of the members of Team Satisfaction. However, Junk Warrior was apparently more willing to forgive him than he was willing to forgive himself after confiscating the card and a Junk Synchron from a demonic auto, they appeared in his deck, and he broke that mental block.

Jinx: Her real first name is Kaede, and she is two years older than Shichiro. When Jinx was an apprentice, her final test found her hunting down a redcap, a vicious and evil fey creature. She defeated it, but as was common with redcaps, the creature would not be taken alive. It incinerated itself, leaving only a pile of ashes and a single tooth. Jinx took the tooth as a souvenir.

She later found that she had made a wise decision. Redcaps are corruptions of nature, and carrying the tooth of one signifies that youve rid the world of its vile presence, giving you natures blessing. Or so said numerous Shadowkind that she spoke to. Jinx was doubtful, but good luck started to come her way.

Slowly, a new deck started to take shape. She started to experiment with gamble cards, and many of them were successful more often than not. Then she started using the X-Sabers, barbarian fighters who gained their rage from the worship of nature, much like her own blessing. Her deck became what it is now.

Jinx is a lot more free-spirited than Shichiro, and is very kind and helpful. She is dedicated to her new role as a mentor to Ember, although Ember is perhaps progressing faster than she is comfortable with.

As stated, Jinxs deck is a Gamble/X-Saber Deck. She uses many cards that rely on luck and chance to function, such as Fairy Box, Time Wizard, and Maximum Six, while using the X-Sabers as her primary offensive force. Her favorite card is the Synchro Monster, X-Saber Urbellum.

Gears: His real first name is Maurice, a name he hates. Even Jalal avoids calling him by it.

Gears has the most seniority among the Shadowchasers in Neo Domino. He is an expert with machines and computers, able to both fix a transmission and hack a system. Shichiro has said that they have yet to make a machine that he cant figure out. He built the three D-Wheels used by himself and his three teammates, and the one that he uses himself is a bit more high-tech.

Gears uses a very strange choice of Monsters. His deck is full of Machines, most of them being strange ones called Allies of Justice. These Dark-Attribute Machines seem to specialize in combating Light-Attribute Monsters. Gears takes advantage of this by using DNA Transplant, but his true reason for using an anti-Light deck is not known. It seems to be linked to an event that occurred when he was a rookie Shadowchaser, before either Shichiro or Jinx joined. Whatever the reason, he rarely speaks of it.

Jalal Stormbringer: Strange, mysterious, and truly immortal, Jalal is not only the leader of the Shadowchasers, he is the founder. Born over a thousand years ago, he is half-dragon, born from the union of the gold wyrm Jamor Stormbringer and a human maiden. His father won immortality in a contest with a divine being named Athentia the Great Sphinx, but an assassins blade poisoned him, and the agony that the poison caused him threatened to turn the gift into a horrible curse. To save his father from an eternity of suffering, Jalal convinced him to give him the immortality.

Jalal then found himself with a great fortune and a lifespan that would last forever. To give himself a purpose, he founded the Shadowchasers. He is the one who drafted the Great Treaty along with Shadowkinds greatest representative, the Incantifer Maskent.

Jalal only physically leaves Shadowchaser headquarters in Britain to deal with the gravest threats to the relations between Shadowkind and humans. However, he does know a powerful spell that lets him project his image and interact with his men over global distances. Using this medium, he is very active in his governing of his organization, and treats the Shadowchasers in a somewhat paternal manner. Each Shadowchaser who officially enters the organization gets a powerful Synchro Monster that bears his name and image (which is likely enchanted in some way).

Jalal does duel, but his deck is unknown. Given his influence and wealth, it likely has incredibly powerful cards that few others can obtain.

Louis DaPen: In every culture, in every time period, organized crime has worked its way into the darker parts of society. Louis DaPen is a recent figure in the shady realm of the Neo Domino underworld, but few know that he is actually a dark visitor from beyond Shadow, and that most of his lieutenants (and many of his footsoldiers) are also Shadowkind.

Very few know what species DaPen is, as he hides his true identity under multiple layers of disguise, appearing as a corpulent, bald, bearded man who seems to be in his mid-forties. He dresses in a grey business suit, and is rarely seen without a high-quality cigar. Even most Awares cannot see past this disguise; Mistle saw his true form, and it terrified her so much, she cannot recall it from her memory as yet.

It is known that DaPen is not a supernatural being, but rather a rare form of Shadow called paranatural. By this, it means that his powers are all derived from scientific sources rather than magic. DaPen seems to possess powerful psychic abilities, and is able to dominate the minds of others. He claims to be able to read minds, one thing that enabled him to climb to the top of the underworld.

DaPen leads a large gang of criminals from a base in Satellite. Although he is capable of controlling the minds of others, most of his minions work for him via their own free will. In Satellite, he never wants for employees when he can offer the lower class workers far better wages, food, clothing, and medicine than Godwin ever will. Thus, his syndicate continues to grow at an alarming pace, and his ultimate plans, whatever they may be, continue on schedule.

Whenever DaPen dominates a victim, he uses whatever deck the victim owns. His personal deck remains a mystery. The most obvious guess would be to say that he uses Psychic Monsters, but he might have a whole different strategy entirely. He may even be skilled in Psychic Dueling, the odd reality-warping skill used in duels by both Aki and Divine.

Edmund: His last name is unknown, if he even has one. This mysterious sorcerer is an ally of DaPen, and very little is known about him. It is not known if he is human or Shadowkind. He appears to Mundanes as a man in thick, heavy, black robes, with a face that is easily forgettable. To Awares, his face is replaced by a ceramic mask shaped like an old mans face. When mounted on a D-Wheel, his robes turn to black armor that covers his entire body.

Edmund commands incredibly powerful magic. He was able to cast the Tempus Fugit effect, something that even the heads of the League of Wizards are hesitant to do. His goals at this point are unknown, but it seems that he desires to test the Shadowchasers more than openly oppose them. He has dueled once so far, against Gears, and defeated him.

In that duel, Edmund used a VWXYZ Machine Deck. However, it is likely that this is not his true deck, but only an extra one put together for that one duel. He likely has a far more powerful deck to use when he becomes serious.

Mistle: A nymph who owns a greenhouse that sells exotic flowers, Mistle met Gears a couple of years ago when he saved the greenhouse from a night hag who tried to burn it down. Since then, there has been mutual attraction between the two, although Gears repeatedly denies that she is a girlfriend.

DaPen used Mistle in his first major move against the Shadowchasers, first taking over her mind, and then using her to duel Gears. After Gears was victorious, DaPen forced Shichiro to wager himself against Mistles freedom. Fortunately, Shichiro won, and DaPen kept his word to show them that he could. Mistle is still recovering (if only emotionally) from the horrid experience, and Gears may be her biggest source of emotional support from this point.

Mistle plays a Flower Deck, using mostly Plant-Type Monsters, along with the powerful Floral Knights.

Ultimate Charizard

Bloodbowl (http://www.pokemasters.net/forums/showthread.php?p=382397#post382397)

Ill keep them brief as i hope to expand these as i go. Im not going to give away if all of these charachters will survive the fic and although it looks like i have a large cast i will point out that alot of these will simply be supporting cast. So for now, Meet the team :).

Btw, alot of the names, especially place names in this fic are based on places in the Warhammer world but have their roots in reality so a quick geography lesson. Albion for example is roughly the same as Britain Geographically. Tilea is Italy, Norsca is Scandinavia and Estallia is Spain. The Empire includes the areas we would consider the Germanic countries while Brettonia is the French. Any other races such as the Dwarfs are found anywhere and stick to their own communities for the most part.

Coach - Fergus Alexsson
Coach Alexsson has been in the game for more years than most of his team combined have been alive. Of course thats easy to say when your a dwarf pushing 300. As a young Blocker he played in Albion for Mancaster Knighted before finishing his career at the North Albion Tigers. When he retired from playing he decided to go into coaching, serving as assistant before eventually becoming head coach of the Tigers. Is well respected in most circles and is known to be ruthless during the game though unusually friendly when he's 'off the clock'. Cares a great deal for his players and believes in the 'respect over fear' approach to coaching.

Thrower - Davis Bradley
Davis is in his mid thirties and has played for the Tigers for almost 10 seasons. Despite his age he is youthfull but his face still carries the look of a veteran. He has seen team mates come and go over the years and tries not to get too attatched but cant help being close friends with those that last.

Catcher - Bjorn Ulrik
The Catcher, from the cold harsh northlands of Norsca joined the Tigers only last season but has quickly become a fan favourite due to his pace and agility as well as the fact that, despite the relatively light armour afforded to the quicker Catchers he doesnt mind getting involved in the violence. Though exciting and lively on the field he tends to be sullen and a bit of a loner.

Catcher - Mario Colletore
Mario is Tilean by birth but spent many of his early years travelling around before his family settled in Albion. Though not as fast as Bjorn he is incredibly nimble and is known as 'Safe-hands' by the fans since in 5 seasons he has never dropped a pass that has been thrown his way. Is a happy-go-lucky kinda guy in that he always appears genuine and optimistic and likes to see the purpose and meaning behind everything rather than let moments pass him by.

Blitzer - Dirk Kixon
Our main charachter. A young Albion man raised in a simple villiage spending everything he earned to watch his beloved Blood bowl team. As he grew older he dreamed of playing for them and hearing they were leaving Albion to attempt to play in the big leages just before his 18th birthday decided to try out and earned his place. Now the Rookie is just setting out on his own Career, hoping that it will be a long one. All for the love of the game.

Blitzer - Vivienne Grey
Vivienne is Brettonian, and as such comes across as pompous, arrogant and rude. At least when she is on the field. A relative veteran of 4 Bloodbowl seasons she only joined the Tigers at the start of this years Spike tournament (start of the fic). She knows when and where a Camera is trained on her and if she isnt busy disembowelling opponents with her knee spikes (or sticking them in other unpleasant places) she's putting on the act. She has a mischievous side that loves creating this image but behind closed doors she's actually the compassionate type and is known to be very protective of her team mates but thanks to her act she has the perfect 'Beautifull Bitch' persona. And as she would say "Women hate me, because their Men want to hate me."

Blitzer - Sarge
An ex soldier of the Empire Sarge is another new recruit this year. Has played for a couple of different teams after he left the army and has had a relatively quiet, yet consistent career. Distances himself from the team for the most part since he realises the fatal nature of the sport as well as his history with club switches. This extends to such a degree that few even know his actual name. Its not that its a secret its just that noone asks, happy to just call him Sarge and the fans have simply dubbed him as a Mercenary for hire.

Blitzer - Sean Dampson
Damspon is the Heart of the Tigers. Born in the town of Keepford, the hometown of the Tigers he has played for them all of his 10 year career despite the numerous lucrative offers for trades. Has a light and mischievous heart and enjoys putting the Rookies through their paces as well as the occaisional spot of hazing but everything he does is for the team and will not tolerate any sign of disloyalty. The fans worship him as a living legend and is still the holder of the record for most Ex team-mate careers ended when players leave the Tigers for other clubs.

Lineman - Bob Vanger
Lineman - Kevin Vanger
These two are brothers so ill put theyre profile together. Born as Farmworkers in Southern Albion the Vanger twins are identical in alot of ways. Not only do they look the same they are also not the smartest pair you will ever meet. Luckily brains arent a requirement for players, especially Linemen so these two big muscular farmhands fit in perfectly when they joined the league. They joined the Tigers together after 5 seasons playing for the Bolting Wanderers. Bob thinks he is the smarter of the two which generally means he will talk about things incessantly and try to add to conversations despite not knowing much at all while Keven seems himself as more the ladies man over his uglier identical twin brother.

Lineman - Kurt Jaeger (Empire)
Kurt is Empire born. Apparently from a noble family gone bad he joined the Tigers as a way to make his own fortune away from his failing family along with his older Brother John. Although most Bloodbowl players have a mean streak he is widely accepted as being the meanest the Tigers have, bordering on the viscious and sadistic and very much an enforcer type. This was before his Brothers death and how he reacts remains to be seen. Overall he's pretty quiet. Lets his actions on the pitch do the talking.

Lineman - Grobor Gundursson (Dwarf)
Nephew of Fergus Alexsson his father Gundur Alexsson was a great player of his day and one of the few players to reach retirement age with all his limbs in tact. Their family has always had a great affinity with the game and it was only natural that Grobor would follow in his fathers footsteps. Initially he didnt want to join the Tigers, unsure if it would be seen as a family favour but Fergus has pushed him as hard as any player and he quickly became a fan favourite. Now a veteran of almost 20 seasons Grobor has had his fair share of bumps and bruises but nothing short of Death could stop him playing.

Sub - Pops (lineman)
Pops is in his early 50's but still has the passion for the game of a 20 year old. He is a fit athletic man but he lacks the agility and reaction speeds needed for the proffessional game. Though he hasnt taken the field for anything more than a token run out in a friendly for almost 10 years he still turns out in his full kit, ready to step up should he be called upon. More often than not he finds himself acting more as moral support for the younger payers and enjoys passing down his experience and the tricks he's learned. Almost playing the game through them.

Sub - Astryyll He'stan (Catcher)
Astryll is the glamour of the team. Though still in her early twenties she has played for the Tigers for 4 seasons now. Her Estallian origins means she has a dusky, seductive (read: Hispanic) look to her when not in her armour and the media for the team often features her. Your typical busty, pouty, raven haired sex object essentially but the few players on the field that dismiss her as such have often paid the price. Has a media 'fued' going on with Vivienne for the public eye but they are quickly becoming good friends realising theyre pretty much as bad as each other and have no end of fun winding up the boys.

Sub - Gwyn Uttenbiel (Blitzer)
Originally from the Empire Gwyn is the only player on the Tigers roster not to have played part in a game yet. Most of the team have chosen not to get too close to the rookie Blitzer as its often a mistake to get to know any rookie as most dont last long however other reasons worry the Tigers locker room. Words like 'unstable' and 'emotional' at the forefront. He's the type that likes to push his way into conversations and enthuses about everything, laughs at his own jokes and just generally bounces off the walls. Its yet to be seen how he reacts on the field.

...wow that was alot.
