The 2008 Silver Pencil Awards ~ Nominations Topic!

Hullo ladies, gentlemen and random onlookers of the TPM Fanfiction Forum, and welcome to the second event of this year's prestigious Silver Pencil Award Ceremony! I'm your co-host, Gavin Luper, and while the trophies are being finished off in the workshop, I'll be guiding you all through the next phase in the awards process: Nominations.

This year's ballot is a little more varied than the 2007 Awards: we've trimmed the number of categories down to make the Silver Pencils a less onerous task, and added a few of your gnarly suggestions too.

Most of you will be familiar with the nomination stage of the Fanfic Awards Seasons. If you're new to the party this year, it's simple, doesn't take long at all and anyone can nominate. You can make one nomination per category for as many or as few categories as you like, and editing your nomination posts is fine, as the results won't be compiled until after the deadline has passed.

Remember, too, ladies and gents: no self-nominating. It throws into question your respectability and integrity as writers, as well as looking more than a little desperate.

All nominations can be posted in this thread, along with any questions, complaints or kudos to the organisers for putting on such a fine Awards night.
