The 2004 Golden Pen Awards! (Nominations, Voting, Results)

Yes, here it is finally (though at least it's not a month late this time): our Golden Pen Awards! This is our official nominations topic. Thanks to everyone who contributed to our Awards topics; the Voting Method topic is still open to any suggestions.

Things you should know are:

~ No self nominations. No matter whether you think your fic will get nominated or not, you are strictly forbidden from nominating your fic for an award, or nominating yourself for any of the member awards.

~ Only nominate one fic per category. That's kind of obvious but for those who sometimes decide to overlook the obvious...

~When nominating, include author, fic name (unless it's a member award), and anything else you might need to identify what you're nominating.

~If you want to change your nominations, make a new post with your changed nominations instead of editing.

~You have to nominate at least three people, because it's stupid if you nominate the same fic for everything.

~ Deadline: 6:00 pm AEST, 12:00 am EST on 14th January. That gives you a bit more than 2 weeks.

Eh heh... I don't want to sound bratty or anything but... erm, did anyone see the fight scenes in my fic? Because I put a lot of effort into them *sweats from nervousness*. And it is a dark fic. But I know that there are many fics that didn't make a cut, like ones by Manectric Trainer which I thought were pretty good despite some grammar errors (I see one nomination though). Whoo! I'm officially the best newcomer to the boards! Fear me! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I must say I'm surprised that in everything else I was nominated for, I placed second... and that in two of them, only one vote seperated me from sharing first place. How fun.

At least, I'd like to thank Brit Chris, both for nominating me for a few awards, for blessing us all with a new fic of his, and for being the biggest part of shaping my writing style into what it is.

By the way, I noticed in the Best Chapter award that chapter 37 of Lapras Valley High won that. But where can I find it? I searched for the fic for a long time (using the Search function) without success, ended up finding it from a link mr_pikachu posted somewhere in the Writer's Lounge, but that stopped at chapter sixteen or so, and I couldn't find the rest anywhere... basically, where is it?

I feel as though I dont deserve them, mainly because I've had a severe case of writers block latley and producing a chapter has been like dealing with extreme constapation.
