I've been hacked

Not sure were to put this so I'll put it here. I've been absent for a month or so(sorry) and when I came back I had a private message from Classy_cat18 saying I've been spamming. I checked my posts and I've made a ton of posts that I never made? I'm so sorry but I've been hacked. What should I do?

Actually Classy Cat got hacked about a month ago, you didn't get akced they did, I also got the same message.

There was a hack attack a while back, but it's been taken care of.

Is there actually a demerit point system in place for spamming and such? My message said I "lost 50 points" and I'm not sure if that's a real thing ya'll use :P

Yup. Infraction points.

Basically, you break the rules, you get an infraction, which carries a point value depending on how severe it is. If you get a certain number of points, you're banned, either temporarily or permanently. That's how it works on most forums out there.

Wait... the infraction points are taken care of, yes; but you say you checked your posts and there were posts among them that weren't yours? If so, you really should change your e-mail address and your password. Could you please post (or send me) links to those posts?

Oh thanks I was worried. But Lady Vulpix when I check new posts it tells me that I have made posts in threads I've never even been in.

Oh, I see now. >_< "New Posts" is not on your profile, it's a part of the forum menu, and it shows the latest posts made on the forum since you last visited. Not your posts.
