This is a thread for your most humiliating mistakes on Pokemon games.

I might start by telling you I got my Pokemon White on its release day but didn't bother for the Victini event, so I still don't have Victini.

I may post more later, unless they are too embarrassing to recall.

What are the mistakes that disgrace your Pokemon training careers?

Trying to use Retaliate against a Ghost-type Pokemon. I did it almost by reflex, since I was used to using Retaliate whenever one of my Pokemon fainted.

The time in Emerald when I was fighting Maxie's Crobat and it singlehandedly walled all six members of my team despite the fact that my Pogeys were of a higher level. :( Friggin' Confuse Ray.

How sometimes a battle goes:

"Hey, one of my team has a SE move against that the foe, I'll send you out!
*five seconds later, my team member is defeated*
"Oh yeah, your secondary type is weak to the foe's secondary type. Crap!"

I don't really think too far ahead.

Go onto Wi-fi, and connect to it. You are still going to get it. Last I heard, you could get a special victini over wifi, that knows Zekrom's and Reshiram's signature moves.
