If i hatch a number of eggs looking for a Nature, then simply turn the game off and rehatch them without saving, will they always be the same natures?

Ie are the natures decided when i get the egg or can i just hatch/rehatch instead of filling my boxes with unwanted tradebait?

Natures are decided when you get the egg. Which is sad, because you have to wait until they hatch and only then will you know whether or not they have good natures.

Read this article for more details (http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Personality_value).

If I'm looking for specific Natures when breeding, I usually save before I pick up the egg. As an extra safety precaution, I save before I drop the parents in the Daycare. It's more tedious that way, but I think I can get the Nature from the Egg easier that way.

Well i found a trick that if u have a mother or a Ditto (Ditto overrides the mother, even if its the father) with the Nature you want, and it has an everstone, it has a much higher chance of passing on its Nature.

I spent all day trying to get an Adamant, Technician Scyther. Found I had an Adamant female with Swarm so tried using that and i got what i was after in the very next batch.

Yeah, if the mother is holding an Everstone each baby has a 50% chance of having the same Nature as the mother.

I thought the everstone was used to pass down abilities? I too have been breeding Scythers (but not for me, so I haven't hatched them) and that is what I was asked to do. But if it's to do with mothers then I have no clue if my Scyther was male or female XD

Mom's=Natures. Abilities are randomized still and its a crapshoot. Just like getting a damn female Snivy in under 8 eggs is a crock of crap >o

Well what it is is im building a Team of 'Item-Trade Evolvers'

Scizor, Rhyperior, Magmortar, Electivire, Kingdra and Dusknoir.

Almost all except Scizor are Pokemon ive never used before but im treating them special to as ive never gone that far into breeding/training etc. For example ill be breeding Rhyhorn on my Platinum game before trading it up as its not able to learn Aqua tail on Black/White. I was gonna do the same with Bug Bite on Scizor but got lazy lol.

You could try bringing some from the Dream World. It's much easier to choose their natures that way, and sometimes they'll have special moves.
