Yup, as it is one of my passions, here's a topic about food. What food do you like? How do you cook it? What is your national dish, or any typical dishes? What do you drink with it? Are any of you amateur-chefs? Big food-lovers? Sweet-tooths?
From appetizers to desserts, anything goes here. Including drinks. Including links!
I made Cottage Pie today! One of my brit mates was going mad about me not knowing this dish, so I did some research and made it myself! After tons of videos and recipes I must say this guy amazed me by the way he talks, he enjoys and especially the way he knows his stuff. It's science!

I like pasta. Italian food is one of the few things about my heritage that I'm still proud of these days.

I love pasta too! But there are many other foods I also love, and Argentina has many traditional foods, which vary from region to region. I think the most typical is alfajores, though, because I haven't seen them elsewhere.

I love sushi but as a heritage food my favorite one to make and eat is Irish beef stew, beef, carrots, parsnips, potatoes, herbs and of course a bottle of guiness (inside the stew) and eat it with brown bread :3

I don't care for sushi, but I do like other Japanese seafood. Unagi and octopus dumplings are good.

I kinda like cooking. Working with beef, poultry, and pasta are my faves. Must be the Italian in me.
Also I'm making fried chicken tomorrow. Which means later today. Awesome.

I eat almost everything. When it comes to preparing food, I sometimes lack motivation big time, starting to cook is the hardest part anyway.
One of my area's specials is rössypotut, but our usual shop called Halpa-Halli doesn't sell rössy because of religious reasons. For rössy is actually made of reindeer blood in most cases.
What did I eat last time? Well I just baked some steaks for hamburgers. We also put salad, cucumber salad, mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard inside the buns. Tasty. And almost forgot, I also ate a meat pie for my evening snack.

I eat lots of pasta at work, but when I'm home or with family, burgers, fries and anything like sweet pickles and hot dogs are pretty good stuff to have.

I'm a very picky eater, but I love my fried seafood (especially calimari) and pizza. I'm a pizza addict.
I don't cook a lot but I do love to bake when I have the money. I used to make money selling cookies, my highest seller being peanut butter. We have a Hershey's cookbook at home. One day I will use one of the cheesecake recipes in that book. Yeah, I love cheesecake too. It's a good thing the nearest Cheesecake Factory is about thirty minutes away in a place with bad traffic or I would never lose weight.
I love tea. Hot and cold. We got loose-leaf tea from this store in the mall, including a +$100 oolong tea (long story) and some mate tea. And I get Red Diamond brand tea bags, steep them for about four to 12 hours, and make sweet iced tea. Southern tradition that I've gotten good at.
Strangely enough I eat some strange foods but I don't eat a lot of the local stuff. I eat the pig's skin but not the intestines. That tends to annoy the family. ^^;;
