I translated the rules of the Finnish Kimble from Finnish to English and would like to see if there's a difference between these rules and the American Trouble rules.

KIMBLE

Game rules

Contents: 1 plastic gameboard, 16 pieces, 4 each color.

The number of players 2, 3 or 4

The object of Kimble game is that each player moves their own 4 pieces once around the game board and brings them to the goal. During the game each player tries to send their opponents' pieces back home.

Each player picks 4 pieces of the same color and places them to a home area of a corresponding color. If the game has only 2 players they can also play as 2 teams.

The die is triggered by pressing the die container (Pop-O-Matic).

Each player presses the die container and the one who gets the highest number starts the game.

A player has a right to once press the die container on his turn and move his or her piece. Number 6 in die gives a player a right to one extra press of the container.

A player must get number 6 before can move his or her piece from home area to starting circle. The player is again privileged to one extra press of the container.

The player sitting left to the starting player is next in turn.

The pieces are moved clockwise as many circle spaces as the die indicates. All the cirlces are counted independent from if they are empty or taken.

If you end up in a circle taken by an opponent when moving a piece, opponent's piece returns home and starts over from there.

The piece at home can only be moved to the starting circle if player gets the number 6. If then there's an opponent piece in the circle, it returns to its own home.

When player gets number 6 he or she can either move the piece that's already on track or opt to a new piece for the track. When a player has more pieces on the track he can move whichever of them. The player may also choose not to move if he or she thinks it's for good.

When all the pieces have gone around the game board, they end up in the goal area, marked with numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4. The pieces can be moved also in the goal area.

One can enter the goal area only with an exact number.

The winner is a player who first gets all of his or her 4 pieces to the goal.
