Happy news: I've been doing NaNoWriMo! And, up til now, I've been doing really, really well! I've been writing on my first novel idea that I've been sitting on for a few years. It's taking a few twists and turns that I wasn't expecting, and it's been addictingly fun to write. I haven't had the second week issues a lot of people have been talking about, but I haven't really written the second week. I'm still ahead because I got so much inspiration to write... almost 31k/50k words and it's still only the halfway point. I haven't even talked to my grandpa in years! So it's been insane.
Bad: My mom's been hospitalized. Tomorrow they're going to put a hole in her heart sack and in one of her lungs to drain fluid that's been building up making it hard to breathe and for her heart to function at all. She's been really, really sick and I've basically been taking care of her. My brother came up to visit us and has been amazingly helpful because I'm just in way over my head. I've got my own mental issues to deal with, but having him help with cleaning things up for her return and talking to me about what will happen in the inevitable event of her passing (horrible lung cancer... people tend to die from that less than a year after diagnosis)... I haven't written very well since because I've been spending all day out at the hospital or trying to set up a Thanksgiving meal she can't even cook anymore at this point...

You can always ask more precise questions, like "can the pokemon be Fire type", or "is it always a Psychic type", etc. when there are ambiguous Pokemon on the list. Just like you can't ask whether or not a Pokemon has already evolved if there's, say, a Snorlax on the list, because you don't know whether that Snorlax was born as a Snorlax or as a Munchlax. Adding formes would not prevent these ambigueties. (Not to mention there are Pokemon who can change their types without changing their shape, and there's also Ditto who can have the shape of any Pokemon).

I invest in a decent, but cheap set of headphones. Though the ones I have now, about 20 bucks, aren't the best, they produce great enough sound that my ears don't hurt. Mostly I go for comfort with my headphones rather than anything else, because I can trash a pair of 50 dollar headphones as fast as a pair of 5 dollar headphones. I've done it before, so I know. So I stick to the cheaper end to make things easier on the wallet and ear.

For me, yes...I'm currently browsing the internet on my 3DS XL, and the experience of using the internet this way certainly has its differences (such as having a harder time cutting/copying and pasting blocks of text), but I think I can get used to it, even if I rarely post on the 3DS' internet browser (it is still a new learning experience after all), because I generally can adapt to new forms of technology fairly quickly.

[11/21] How much stock do you put into audio toys? Do you get the cheapest headphones/ear buds you can for your computer, Mp3 Player, ect just so you can hear things, or are you a full blown audiophile who gets the biggest and best toys for your music and entertainment pleasure?

I'm terrible with headphones personally, so I tend to put less money into them cause I tend to treat them like crap... my MP3 though is a Gen III iPod Touch, 64 GB full to the brim in music and a few movies... I haven't been using it as much lately but every now and then I'll plug it into my car to listen to tunes instead of satellite radio or regular radio...

[11/25] What's your favorite dessert? What kind of health risks does your favorite dessert pose? Does it worry you at all what could happen enjoying your treat?

I would like to think Chocolate Fondue that I make myself is my favourite dessert for the moment, with using fresh bread or toast to dip into it. The fact I use a fattening 18% cream in the recipe makes this really fattening and not that great for my health.... but I still love it.... and no, I don't care, been eating this for years and it won't change, hah...

Let's see, iPod, DS, Blackberry and the odd tablet here and there (sadly, not mine yet) Well I am limited in the types of website I can visit with the iPod and Blackberry but with the tablets I have tried (Playbook from RIM) you can do everything a PC can, so its pretty awesome...

For me, I have both, for my New Year's resolution, I hope to find a good job that I can succeed at (right now, it's a matter of reaching out to a certain place first and going from there)...as for stuff I hope happens next year, well, one of them pertains to a TPMer, I'm crossing my fingers an old friend from TPM I recently found on Facebook will find some time to come back to TPM (I'm talking about DarkPrincess)...anyone besides me and Gabi remember her? As for other stuff I'm hoping to have happen next year, I'm pondering getting a new laptop, just incase I decide to switch to Windows 8.

In addition to the two MGs, can I have my last two EMTs for 2012, please? Better late than never, I always say.

I ended up catching up with a bunch of friends at my buddies new house. I kept it pretty low key. Stayed up with my boyfriend and promptly passed out not 10 minutes after midnight hit the west coast (I've been overworked so it's hard for me to stay up right now). We just watched some cartoons and anime til the new year hit, then we raced to try to be the first one to wish the other the happy new years. He won, kinda.

I'll admit that the very first thing I look at is the coloring because it's the first thing you can always tell about an animal. They might keep their true personality a secret until down the line. Plus, some of the breeds are just gorgeous like toygers (http://toygers.org/images/odysseysnowm.jpg) and Somali (http://pusscats.com/Somali_Cats-Ruddy__red.jpg), breeds my boyfriend and I have been talking about looking into for our future cats.

I grew up with Labs and German Sheppards, so I've always had an affinity for those type of dogs. I like em bigger... Had bad experiences with small yippy dogs, seeing they are about the size of my foot... So I would guess I would base my choice on past experience when getting a new pet (which I'll probably get a lab when I can finally get my house) but I do like the color as well. Secretly, lately I've wanted to get a Corgi, but I keep hearing it's one of the dumbest breeds, so I'm rethinking that, lol.
