After months of anticipation, U.S. trainers finally have the chance to explore the new Unova in Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, which were released in the U.S. on Sunday. These direct sequels to Pokémon Black and Pokémon White continue the storyline two years later. They also offer several new features like the much-anticipated Pokémon World Tournament, in which trainers can battle for the title against many of the Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champions from past iterations of the Pokémon franchise.

While some might be tempted to wait until Christmas to pick up the new titles, Nintendo is giving everyone a reason to start their journeys early: namely, the Genesect promotion (http://videogamewriters.com/genesect-available-for-limited-time-to-celebrate-pokemon-blackwhite-2-launch-55523). At long last, trainers can download the legendary Genesect over Wi-Fi using the Mystery Gift option in Black 2 and White 2. The promotion ends November 12th, however, so you'll have to act quickly if you want to bring the Paleozoic Pokémon to life.
