Yeah, yeah, I know you're supposed to be the one to make this. However, a certain mod wants to snatch up this reffing already.

Get on out here, Cicero!

http://veekun.com/dex/media/pokemon/main-sprites/black-white/149.png

You still have to post moves first, though :3
I only posted this so that Darkly could "snatch it up" as he said.

Use protect.
While in the protect, however, create a medium substitute, 'cause we are NOT going to be hit by a toxic so early into this. Then we'll use thunder wave to paralyze it.

===Round 1===

We are in the semi-finals now, and Ash and BT are far too eager to get started. No sooner does Ash and Ringo fly on the scene, does Cicero take off and raise a shield around itself. Ringo swoops down and tries to shout a few remarks. But they bounced off the shielding and didn't impair Cicero's concentration on making a mini Dragonite.

Once the sub was completed, Cicero relaxed the shielding, having using a bit more energy than he would have liked to get it all done.

Ri: -2E ~~~ Ci: -16E Sub:10H

Ringo flew back around and now strafed that Substitute with a severe toxin, one that -while potent to flesh, did nothing to aid the course of battle. Cicero meanwhile. fired off a twinset of sparks that ensnared around Ringo's wings. Down the flier went, growling with content

Ri: -3E Par ~~~ Ci: -2E

Cicero was sitting pretty for the moment. No status issues, no plaguing illness, this seemed to be easy. Ringo raised his arms and hissed in contempt, but the paralysis took hold just then.

Ri: Par~~~ Ci: :/

oh, that went WAY better than expected. Way to not mess this up, cicero :D

Use Focus Punch. If they use any move to protect themselves (I.E. Protect, detect, sub, etc.), switch to using Dragon Dance.

Then we'll have you use Extremespeed twice to knock the everliving crap out of him.

===Round 2===

Feeling safer than usual, Cicero bides his time and flexes slowly. Ringo looks to be down for the count, but both heads suddenly spring to life. The third head in the center slams both armheads down and that strange Dark body is thrown skyward. It bobs and weaves and starts to gain alot of prowess in all that moment, but it inevitably has to stop.

And when he stops, he gets cold-cocked in the face by Cicero. HARD.

Ri: -6E/-18H +2 Atk, +Def/Spd ~~~ Ci: -10E

At least his muscles feel less tense. But Ringo does not approve of how this is going thus far. So he bites at the ground feverishly, slathering bile and dirt together to create a Substitute. If only he was fast enough. Cicero continues the offensive assault with a flurry of kicks and tail whips to hamper him down even more.

Cicero quits bullying Ringo long enough for the dragon to erect the Sub, and Ringo breathes a sight of relief..

Ri: -7E/-19H Sub: 11 ~~~ Ci: -8E

A well earned sigh as Cicero now danced about, bashing the hell out the sub

BT: The order I read that as was Focus Punch~Ex twice

but if Protect/Dtetct or Sub was used, sub out current move for Dragon Dance. The limiting factor wasn't explained clearly there. I can edit after work today. But you two post, as Cicero just loses the Atk/Spd boost and the Sub will be on...3 HP.

===Round 3===

Ringo growls in discontent at the Sub staring him down. With a deep breath, all three heads Roar in unison. Its a fearful sound, one that strikes fear in the core of anything in the path of of bellow.

Cicero was not one of those beings. Instead, it was picking up the Sub that was left for Ringo, and smashed its head into it lightly. It crumpled into dust.

Ri: -3E Sub: Boom ~~~ Ci: -4E

Ringo grounded itself, staring at the resilience of this Cicerosub. It didn't even flinch! Cicero however, had crept up behind the dark serpent, and began charging up a huge ball of electric energy. Ringo lurched for the sub and Crunched down, hoping to shatter it apart.

That attempt was short lived, as its spine was charged to the maximum limit. Quite cryptic really.

Ri: -14H Par~~~ Ci: -10E Sub: Boom

Mouth surprisingly numb, Ringo fell over in shock and pain. There was more than enough pain to spare, and that left all three heads gasping in pain as Cicero just watched with awe. That and he made another Sub just to start the cycle over again.

===Round 4===

Ringo isn't having a very good time in this Tournament right now. In fact, he's a little mad that Mr ClumsyClubface over here is trying to show off! So, without further ado, he tries to create a Substitute of his own. It's a bit slower than he would like-which leads to a hell of a strike attempt by Cicero.

I say attempt because Cicero shot like, 15 inches over where he needed to be. I don't know what he was aiming for, but it wasn't Ringo.

Ri: -7E/-10H Sub: 10 ~~~ Ci: -9E

Crucial time to be missing. Cicero raised both hands, and fired off a Thunder, that crackled and warped around a bit before slamming directly into the Sub. Ringo turned to see Cicero behind him. He looked back with one head to see the Sub of Cicero over there. Hrm. Experiment time.

A few neck stretches and flapullups, and Ringo seems ready to continue.

Ri: -3E +Atk/Def Sub: Boom~~~ Ci: -10E

Ringo raises its peripheral heads and allows them to roar into the heavens. Knowing the fallout from this might be a bit excessive, Cicero goes for the logical plan of attack.

SPRAY IT WITH WATER! I mean really? Sp--anyway. He kinda does that gargly thing and the water rings hulahoop down the neck of one of the heads.

But whoa wait! There it is! The meteor of LEGEND! It collides with CIcero's Sub, and both Pokemon watch its complete and total annihilation. Cicero then laughs. Wow. A Dragonite is laughing at you. That's cause for concern, Ringo.

Ri: -12E/-5H ~~~ Ci: -4E Sub: boom

Cicero wakes up from his nap, as Ringo makes a move finally. The weaker dragon plans on screaming his way to a victory here! He puffs up and all the heads bellow in unison, releasing a cacophany of erratic pitches and tones, all while bobbing in place. But the buffering against that shield is what saved Cicero. That sound was horrible. Like cats drinking coffee. Horrible

Ri: -10E ~~~ Ci: -11E

Cicero slammed his tail in the ground and idly looked around, not caring about Ringo. Unsure what that dragon could ever be planning, Cicero began to stretch and twerk his body around. It seemed to help him with the paralysis a bit, but right when his plyometrics was completed, Cicero sprang to life and dove at him! Ringo screeched like a little GIRL, before watching CICERO faceplant.

Ringo uses that push of speed to thrust itself at Ciero. Cicero counters by grabbing both outward necks and hods them away, but that leaves head number three to wind it way to his face, and chomp on his nose. Bloody crap that's gotta hurt. Screaming in agony, Cicero pumps out a gaseous Haze, that begins to tear away the layers of prowess from Ringo.

Ri: -4E Normalized ~~~ Ci: -4E/-21H

Cicero grunted and threw both armheads back, leaving Ringo to try and create a Substitute. Too little time, Ringo. Cicero was back with a vengeance, whipping and beating and smashing Ringo down with such speed and fervor that it was dazzling to the eyes. When all was said and done, Ringo lied in a heap at Cicero's feet. Cicero groaned, feeling that wasn't powerful enough.

Ringo lurched up and persisted in creating that Sub anyway, not realizing he was in the critical zone of health.

Ri: -2E ~~~ Ci: Tnt

Unable to willingly relax, Cicero divebombs Ringo, and tussles with him as the real dragon begins to hum. The hum grows in frequency, as Ringo watches his foe struggle with a grasp on reality. The Sub bounces away from Cicero's grasp just as the streaking lump of rock enters the atmosphere, its re-entry flame still very much alive and well. Cicero turns to see the fury-and endures all of its wrath.

Ri: -11E Sub: 8H~~~ Ci: -2E/-19H

Pft of course Ringo bottoms out now. As he sits there, his Sub gets batted around summore, Cicero's interest is still not waning in that doll.

Ri: :/ Sub: 6H~~~ Ci: -2E

Ok, let's finish this thing off.

Question, though: In the movelist, under "Dragon Rage," it says: Most defenses have difficulty blocking this particularly energetic attack.

What "defenses" does that specifically pertain to? Just curious

Its just flavor text. Dragon rage just does an average damage amount.

stay away and spam dark pulse, but how did a super powerful stab/se move only do 19 damage!? that really should've been closer to the cap methinks

BTPoke

Tbh, I think maybe the fire element of it actually neutralized the super effective dragon element. You know, 'cause fire isn't very effective against dragons?

Anyway, start with a dragonbreath to make sure we finish off the sub.
Then combo an Agility (to dodge the Dark Pulse) + Aerial Ace to finish him off.

Please, Cicero, hold on long enough to finish this guy off!

Fire Blast wasn't even in the attack at all, because Ringo only had enough energy for the Draco Meteor.

My guess is that Darkly reduced the damage that Draco Meteor caused based on how much energy Ringo had left in him.

DarkestLight
10th December 2012, 10:59 PM
o.o Huh Yeah no Ringo was low on energy. So when you used that combo of Fire Blast +Draco Meteor, your meteor was weaker than normal because you were also trying to add fire to it.

This though, I will ref so we can MOVE THE HELL ON XD

===Round 9===

Both these Pokemon have had it in terms of energy. They're scarred and scorched, but still they press on, eager to defeat the other. Ringo flies backwards just as a stream of power finally incinerates that fascimilie.

Ringo grunts and twitches a bit, undergoing paralysis finally. That's a odd time to show up! Cicero calms down, glad that it was gone.

Ri: o.O Sub: Boom~~~ Ci: -4E

Ringo springs into action, all three heads hissing in contempt. Cicero doesn't care initially, until they all began spamming Dark Pulses at him. He flies as best he can, zipping left to stay ahead of the strafing shots and tries to get closer, but a three headed beast can fire Pulses in a wider arc.

Cicero barely evades a frontal shot by dipping backwards, and cracks the whip in order to thrust himself right into Ringo's gut. Ringo groans, and falls over, leaving Cicero as the LUCKIEST. DRAGON. IN.THE.DAMN.TOURNAMENT.

Ri: -8E ~~~ Ci: -7E +2Spd

...yeah that was luck.

I call hax lol not really ;) good battle bt I'll have to beat you some other time, if only Draco meteor had done 5 more, I mean it would be 1 energy per damage but...

Tbh, I thought I was about to Cicero big time (would've been fitting if cicero had done the cicero'ing, though xD)

Yeah , that was a pretty good match, though. Had a moment of hopelessness, there, but I somehow made it through.
