===Round 1===

Whoo, another battle another dollar. Here in the Verdant tournament, we have competitors using Grass aligned beasts to take on others and reach the pinnacle of excellence. Without further ado, we'll be watching Kumori take on Rossymore.

Petallion stands ready, flowered palms up. She looks to her left and jumps nimbly, barely avoiding a massive foot that belongs to Raphael. The megabeast lowers its neck and fans out its wings, just as a sphere of light shoot up into the sky. Petallion waits, and the jungle sky responds with a beaming of heat. Both Pokemon seem to swell with joy-despite the humidity.

A strong wind cuts Petal's enjoyment short, knocking her back a notch. It stung far too much to be normal. But Raph seemed a little too eager...that was almost forced! (-3)

P: -4E/-11H ~~~ R: -6E
Sun: 8 act.

Petal runs forth and goes for a Weather Ball, charging the sphere between her roses before launching it at Raph. The ball meets an impenetrable wall, and explodes in a flurry of fiery colors.

P: -7E ~~~ R: -9E

Petal lunges once more, eager to make a lead in this battle, and hits with a bomb of poison food. Rapheal just smirked and countered with a flap of his wings. With the jungle brush aiding, the massive tropical beat created a Leaf Storm to enjoy (-3) Petal crosses her arms, angered by that attack.

===Round 2===

Keeping up with the sunlight, Raph goes full out offensive. He broadsides Petallion. No literally, he broadsided the hell out of the Roserade, forcing her to actually spew some sort of purplish mist in the air that landed on the Pokemon's back. Raph landed a few feet away, and looked to its back, where that icky sutff lied. (-1)

P: -3E/-7H ~~~ R: -4E Txc

The intensity of what Raph was afflicted with was not imminent. Raph turns and began to flap its wings, forcing a massive Silver Wind to blow Petallion back. Petallion rooted herself in and held out its roses, using its mental prowess to twist and churn the poison in Raph, making him oddly sicker than he knew (-1).

But even as the sickness brought the flier to its massive knees, there was a sheen all his own. (-3)

P: -7E/-8H ~~~ R: -6E/-16H +1 All

Not allowing anything to slow him down, Raph once again bounded to the skies. That thing should not be able to fly. It's absurd. It even lands hard, and Petal was crushed under its left foot. There was nothing aerial about that! Petallion however, raised one thorny bush and slammed it into the massive sauropod's thigh. Orbs flew from the petals and into the leg of the monster, all of a strange deep orange variety. He backed off, but it seemed to be not as strong as Petal would have liked.(-1)

Raph is hitting hard and heavy, but it's killing him!

===Round 3===

With the sun rays generously providing both fighters with an ideal climate, this match ramps up to a third tier. Petallion charges up a sphere made of pure fire, and lunges the Hadoken right for the grounded sauropod. Noting the incoming comet of mass destruction, Raph throws its wings in front of its body as far at they could stretch and whips them back, creating a energy shielding to deflect and dissipate the sphere.(-2)

P: -7E ~~~ R: -10E

The waves of flame washed over Raph, and it instinctively ducked to ensure no stragglers singed the top of its head. But Petal was already moving onto the second part of its plan. A mental aberration became a physical shakedown on Raph's part-the poison ripping at its veins. (-2).

Raph grunted heavily, before raising those wings up and forcing a rapid rate of photosynthesis to occur, compensating heavily for what was just lost internally.

P: -6E ~~~ R: -15E/+25H/-14H

Feeling a bit better, Raph stood up to try and take on his attacker, only to be naile din the chest by a second fireball. Seems Petallion had a few of those stored up. You gonna tra--no, no trapping in the corner, cause Raph is airborne. And just like large objects in the air, hes COMING DOWN! A nasty slash across the face of Petal left him reeling.(-2)

This battle is really testing the wits of its contestants. Who will prevail since the sun's rays have NOW LEFT THE ARENA.

===Round 4===

Feeling his strength fading, Raph makes a last ditch healing effort in order to buy him some more time on the field. The diminished sunlight leaves him with less health than he received before, and that was before the burning sensation in his veins! He fell to his knees and looked down at the annoying Petallion, trying to figure out a way to stomp it out of his life.(-3)

P: -7E ~~~ R: -15E/+20H/-14H

The burning kept intensifying and Petallion seemed to relish it all. It looked so perfect, so easy! Until those leafblade like wings came across and slashed his chest once more. That broke the mental hold Petal had, but only for a moment's reprieve. (-3) Raph keeled over, exhausted.

P: -7E/-9H ~~~ R: -3E/-14H

Petal looked to be in great shape, even after that slash. Once again, those roses...rose to the occasion and began the pins and needles sensation to try and cripple Raph. Raph used those wings once more and tried to break the hold on him, but even with the slash, Petal powered through! (-3)

Raph fell over, a seismic ripple occurring as its body weight came to a rest.
