Well it's May, which means for most of us, travel headaches, family things, Mother's Day (is that universal?), and a major shift in seasons. For a few of us, it's graduation time!

In 10 days' time, I'll be Magmar, MBA. I'll be receiving my master's on May 19... well, once I defend my thesis, I'll get the actual degree, but I'm still "walking" in May. Hooray!

Anyone else graduating??

Other notes: Thank you MToolen for doing my survey :) and I didn't get into PhD programs this time around, but maybe next year.

Congratulations!

No, Mother's Day occurs at different times in different countries. In Argentina it's the 3rd Sunday of October.

And I hope I get my PhD sometime this year, but I can't be certain. :\

Congrats! Mother's Day in Finland is the 2nd Sunday of May.

Spring is always a time of love and I remember obsessively 'my' girls, as you may well know. Today is the 28th birthday of Hateshinai Waraigoe, and my first and only date with MaaREIto-sama has been exactly ten years ago tomorrow!

I actually just learned that what I'm earning is a master's degree, but is also called a professional degree. Apparently this puts my median income right up to what a Ph.D. earns on average! Woot. Hopefully I can find a killer job :)

I'd hate to be one of those MBAs that works at a coffee shop :( my student loans are just too much (like 80K)...

Yay! I get to graduate in the same year as you! :D Although I finish next Friday, I don't graduate until October (because I'm at a fairly small uni where the majority of students study sports related things). I'll also be getting a Masters. YAY CLASS OF 2013 :D

Happy to help, Barry.

And congrats to the both of you! May you find a job swifter than I (not saying that substitute teaching is worse than any other menial/service job, but I'd like a full-time position sometime soon).

It'll be ten years next June from when I graduated high school. I still am pretty messed up from how many of my peers treated me....

I graduated from MDC with an A.A. (after acquiring 2 other certifications) and am transferring to FIU to go for my B.S. in I.T.

I'm also quitting my job in the library car, my contract ended. It's not like I disliked the job, I am going to miss it. But this Autumn will bring new challenges, or old, if you will. An intense Japanese and Chinese hybrid course awaits! Perhaps.

Roy, congratulations to you and your mom. That's an awesome way to spend Mother's Day, celebrating both of your achievements. Great news! :)
