Why is the default forum language Spanish?

Considering every conversation on the forum is in English... took me a while to figure out how to change it in CP (and find CP in the first place).

Edit: Doesn't seem to be Spanish anymore. Did someone fix it, or I wonder if it had another cause? It showed me Spanish both logged out and in.

Occasionally, if I click on a thread in my URL cache instead of the main TPM link, for whatever reason, and only once in a blue moon, the forum will be entirely in Spanish.

I sometimes don't even notice immediately... I can read Spanish fluently and speak it moderately well, and sometimes even think in Spanish, so it's only when I see accents over vowels that I notice!

Spanish is not the default language, but I believe the board chooses the language based on your IP by default, and it occasionally messes up.

Very weird. It was like that for about a week with me browsing not logged in and I assumed it was a default.
