I'm actually not really thrilled with my team. They battle fine but I really wanted a team made up of the new Pokemon and I'm only satisfied with two of them (Doublade and Chesnaught). I lack any Pokemon with status moves and I'd like an electric one but I haven't seen many at all. There seems to be a crap ton of fighting Pokemon though

With the exception of Charizard, I wanted a team made up of all Kalos pokemon but I couldn't find anything that I liked, so I ended up going with Nidoking for my sixth spot. I thought of going with Pyroar for my sixth but I didn't want two fire types in my lineup.

A mix of my all-time favorites and my starter. Talonflame made the final cut due to the usefulness of Fly.

Looking back, I find it funny that I didn't carry a Crobat as I've done in the past. I usually have one because its speed makes it handy in in-game battles. This time around, it would have been useful because I didn't have any good coverage against fairy, which bit me in Laverre, but not too bad since the gyms were pretty easy. A poison fang-wielding Crobat, however, would have made it a piece of cake.

A mix of Kalos and Kanto pokemon. All of them are fully EV trained but some aren't EV trained the way I want them so I need to find some reset bags. There's only a big gap because I'll put some pokemon in the PC while I train others for the pokedex. Gengar was just one that I got in a trade and I decided to use him :P Lucario+Poison Jab=Laverre City's worst nightmare.

We were SECONDS off defeating the last member of the E4. That Garaydos HURTS!

This team is on its way to the 3rd gym. Not sure what will happen next.

Nope. For some reason, I usually only beat the game with 4-5 Pokemon, with another being used for HMs. In the past, it was just easier to level less Pokemon but this time, I was over-leveled for a lot of the content

Seriously, Scolipede is just friggin awesome. Super fast and with him having full Affection from Pokemon Amie, he crits like a motherfucker.
