It features a new trainer named Alan and his <a title="Charizard's Pokedex Entry" href="http://www.pokemasters.net/pokedex/pokemon/Charizard">Charizard</a>. The special will follow their adventures through the Kalos region where his goal is to defeat every Mega Evolved Pokemon, including the Elite Four Siebold's <a title="Mega Blastoise Pokedex Entry" href="http://www.pokemasters.net/pokedex/pokemon/Mega Blastoise">Mega Blastoise</a>.
The special will air in Japan on April 3, 2014.
