Welcome to the Casino. In this thread, a bunch of games will be offered, for the chance for you guys to win awesome prizes!!!

Prices:
Slot Machines: 1 point, or 1 casino credit.
Dice Run: 5 points, or 5 casino credits.
Pokemon Hi-Lo: 1 point, or 1 casino credit.

Slot Machines
To play in the slot machines, you will need to pay 1 point. Then, you get to spin the wheel. The good news is, you can rig things in your favour. You can select a spot on each wheel, where it will stop. There is a 20% chance that it will land on the spot you specify, a 20% chance that it will land one spot previous, a 20% chance that it will land two spots previous, a 20% chance it will land one spot after, and a 20% chance it will land two spots after. The first two wheels are the same, with the layout being as follows:

Slot Number Icon | Slot Number Icon | Slot Number Icon 1 ) Seven | 10 ) Shellder | 19 ) Shellder 2 ) R | 11 ) Pikachu | 20 ) Shellder 3 ) Psyduck | 12 ) Pikachu | 21 ) Berry 4 ) Magnemite | 13 ) Magnemite | 22 ) R 5 ) Shellder | 14 ) Magnemite | 23 ) Psyduck 6 ) Berry | 15 ) Berry | 24 ) Magnemite 7 ) Psyduck | 16 ) Magnemite | 25 ) Shellder 8 ) Psyduck | 17 ) Berry | 9 ) Berry | 18 ) Shellder |

The last wheel is set out as:
Slot Number Slot Icon | Slot Number Slot Icon | Slot Number Slot Icon 1 ) Seven | 9 ) Psyduck | 17 ) Shellder 2 ) Berry | 10 ) Psyduck | 18 ) Shellder 3 ) Pikachu | 11 ) Shellder | 19 ) Shellder 4 ) Berry | 12 ) Pikachu | 20 ) Berry 5 ) Pikachu | 13 ) Pikachu | 21 ) Pikachu 6 ) Berry | 14 ) Magnemite | 22 ) Berry 7 ) R | 15 ) Magnemite | 23 ) Pikachu 8 ) Berry | 16 ) Magnemite |

So, you say you wanna play, and you want to get 15 - 16 - 15. This means that the first wheel will give you either 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17. (Magnemite, Magnemite, Berry, Magnemite or Berry). Wheel #2 will give you 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18. (Magnemite, Berry, Magnemite, Berry, Shellder) and wheel #3 will give you 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17 (Pikachu, Magnemite, Magnemite, Magnemite, Shellder).

Once you've seen what you roll, the prize is paid out as follows:
Three red 7s100 casino creditsThree blue Rs30 casino creditsThree Pikachu5 casino creditsThree Psyduck5 casino creditsThree Magnemite3 casino creditsThree Shellder3 casino creditsBerry in first and second slots2 casino creditsBerry in the first slot only1 casino creditNone of the aboveNothing

Dice Run

This game will cost you 5 points. You will be presented with 9 cards, numbered 3 through 11. After you remove 2 of them, a dealer will roll 5 pairs of dice, getting 5 numbers ranging from 2 to 12. Then, you look at the table below. If you kept the prerequisite numbers, and those numbers showed up on the dice, you are eligible to win that prize. You can choose one prize that you are eligible for.

Prerequisite Numbers|Prize3 or 11|2 casino credits4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10|1 casino credit3 and 4|8 casino credits4 and 5|6 casino credits5 and 6|5 casino credits6 and 7|2 casino credits7 and 8|2 casino credits8 and 9|5 casino credits9 and 10|6 casino credits10 and 11|8 casino credits3, 4 and 5|15 casino credits4, 5 and 6|8 casino credits5, 6 and 7|6 casino credits6, 7 and 8|5 casino credits7, 8 and 9|6 casino credits8, 9 and 10|8 casino credits9, 10 and 11|15 casino credits

So, if you roll 3,4,5,6,7, you walk away with 15 casino credits (because 3,4,5 pays the best).

Pokemon Hi-lo
To play, you will need to pay 1 point. A type will be given (Normal, Flying, Bug, Rock, ...). The next person to play this game will guess Super-effective, Normal or Resists. Then, the next time a Casino dealer is online, he will post a new type. If an attack from the first type attacks the new type in the way the player says, he wins. If the player said Super-effective or Resists, he gets 2 casino credits. If he guesses normal, he gets 1 casino credit. So, why would you guess Normal? If there are 10 people who guess correct in a row, each person in that chain gets a bonus casino credit. If you guess correctly multiple times in the series of 10, you get a matching number of credits. Immunity will count as resistant.

So, some examples: The current type is Grass. I guess Super-effective. The next type is Water, I win 2 casino credits (since Grass is SE against water).

Then, Blade guesses Normal, and the next type is Electric. Blade wins 1 casino credit (since water deals normal damage to electric).

Then Dogfish guesses Resistant, and the next type is Ground. Dogfish wins 2 casino credits (since Electric deals no damage to ground, and Immunity = Resistance for the purposes of this).

Then DL guesses Super-effective, and the next type is Flying. DL wins no casino credit, because Ground is not super-effective against flying.

Using Credits

All points earnt in the Casino can be cashed in as follows:

5 Casino points - One egg in the incubation station; One shard (Combine 3 shards to get an ability change token!)
10 Casino points - Any legal basic Pokemon as listed in the tower; or a Pokeball to take into the Safari zone.
20 Casino points - Any legal stage one Pokemon as listed in the tower, A Greatball to take into the Safari zone; or a Small stone (Evolve one of your basic Pokemon to stage one!)

First spin... Aye eyes it carefully, misses the 7, but gets an R. All is not lost, she can go for all R's. Eying the next wheel, she manages to land another R, and then... ... ... Pikachu, so you win nothing..

Second spin... Aye gets the same luck again on the first two wheels. R - R. And for the last wheel, she finally gets a 7. Pity it's a bit late.

Third spin turns up a Magnemite, an R and a Pikachu. No luck.

Fourth spin turns up a Shellder, a Psyduck an a Berry. Still nothing.

Final spin... The third slot... a 7. The second slot... a 7. The first slot... a Magnemite. Still nothing.

Sorry Ayeun, no prizes.

The costs for various prizes have been changed.

Additionally, I will be re-calculating prize odds. Of note, the difference between the payout between a 7 and other payouts will hopefully reduce.
