Ruby?..... Or Sapphire?

OK, I've been frying my brain since the first second I discovered that my favorite new Pokes are in seperate games. For example, I really like Yamirami and Groudon, but Groudon's in Ruby, (As everyone in this forum should know) and Yamirami's in Sapphire. Someone please help me decide!!!

I think the only differences (apart from team Aqua/Magma) are the pokemon like you noted.

And the only ones I've found are:

Sapphire:
Yamirami
Habunake
Kyogre

Ruby:
Kuchiito
Zanguzu
Groudon

And after that minimovie at a certain site, I'm convinced that you can get both Latias and Latios in each version.

Taneboo is only in Ruby and Hasuboo is only in Sapphire.
Runatoon is only in Sapphire and Solarock is only in Ruby.

Well in Ruby, I've found that Yomawaru, Mainan, and Illumiise are a LOT more common than their counterparts. In fact, I have yet to find any of the three in Sapphire, even though the Pokedex does show them on the map. Also Koffing seems more common in Ruby, with Grimer being more common in Sapphire. Seems like there are more, but that's all I can think of.

Oh, well, thanks for all your help, but I think I've made decision... (this is where there should be a drumroll if we had one)..... SAPPHIRE! So, I guess now we can use this thread to assist anyone in the same predicament as I was in. Oh, and by the way, I realized it doesn't really matter, as I noticed I always get both versions somehow. I.E: R/B/Y- Got Blue version on Christmas, Red version as a "Welcome home gift", Yellow version for my birthday, I think. Same thing with G/S, didn't get Crystal, since it was basically the same thing.

errrm okay. let's see version-specific pokemon...

sapphire : hasuboo, the water/grass... hasuboo is adorable, hasuberu's pretty cute, and runpapa... o.O;; still cute, though, in a strange, drunken way. ^_^;; plus it's water/grass, the type of 0wnag3 (besides, like, dark/ghost).

ruby : taneboo, the grass/dark. in no way can this pokemon measure up, in any of its forms (looks-wise) to hasuboo.

score : 1-0, sapphire

sapphire : gets yamirami, the dark/ghost (!!!) that gets recover (!!!) by breeding. its stats suck, though... good thing ^_^; and it's ugly.

ruby : gets kuchiito, the only pure steel. the venus flytrap false face and cute actual face makes it far, far cooler than yamirami.

score : 1-1, tied

sapphire : gets runatoon (the moon) and habunake (the snake). both are extremely cool. imho, runatoon has the definite coolness advantage versus sun-thingy. but zanguusu 0wnz habunake.

ruby : gets sun-thingy (solarock, more than likely, in english -.-) and ZANGUUSU. zanguusu is my favorite r/s pokemon, so there isn't really a doubt who wins here. however, runatoon is cooler than solarock, so the score is still tied.

2-2 tied

so, um, yeah. pick which version. i would pick ruby, probably, because i like zanguusu MUCH more than any of the other pokemon to put it at that big of an advantage. ^_^ but blue (sapphire) is definitely a better color... hrm.

Zanguusu is this wierd cat thing with something that looks like a scar under its left eye, and really sharp claws, kind of like a really distant cousin to Sandslash, although Zanguusu is a Normal-type.

I personally don't like Zanguusu.. it's too freaky. *the purple claws.... of DOOM! So menacing... so evil.... although Sandslash is my fav pokemon, and I love Sneasel. Odd, huh?)

The only reason I am picking Sapphire over Ruby is because of HASUBOO! It's so adorable, and it's type rox. Plus Runpappa is just plain funny. I just wish that Kuchiito was available on Sapphire. ;_;

But what pokemon you like the most? Groudon or Yamirami? If you like Groudon more, and fire type pokemon, you should choose Ruby. But, if you like Yamirami- Sapphire.

I like Ruby much more. I love fire type, like Team Magma. They are on Ruby, and they use fire type pokemon^^

They are actually equal, so I would pick either one. If not just flip a coin, or choose by the gem you find better looking.
