The producers of a reality tv show called 'Survivor' want people to turn up on their show.
They want normal people to leave their comfortable lives to spend one week on a deserted island. The reward for the winner, $500,000.
A boat takes them over to the island which has supposedly been deserted for the past 100 years. All they have to do is go one week without losing their nerve or being voted off by the audience.
However, on the first night, a terrible storm kills off the camera crew and destroys a large part of the island.
The producers decide that the contestants couldn't have survived and order the return of the boat. Their only way home...
But they did survive. Somehow each member was able to survive the horrific storm. But now they're trapped, they have no way of leaving this island and no one will think to look for them.
Although there is another, more sinister twist. The $500,000 is buried on the island.
Will the madness of being trapped on this island and the urge to retrieve the money for themselves drive the contestants to the brink of insanity?
Or will they co-operate and find a way off of the island?
