Brock's parents

Well, seeing I live in Holland and we are still in the Master Quest episodes, I know no better then Brock only having a father, and not a mother.

My question is: somebody please fill me in with his mother's story. All I know is that she uses water Pokémon (right). I know she has a Mantine....
