A foreshadowing in "Around the Whirlpool"?

Remember in "Around the Whirlpool" when Brock was interviewing that Marill trainer on taking care of Water Pokemon? Do you think that was a foreshadowing of Brock training Water Pokemon himself in AG?

Maybe so, although someone explained in the episode Brock had to learn about all types of Pokemon...he hasn't done this before, however, and if he had continued to do this throughout MQ we might be more persuaded he IS a breeder *raises eyebrow*

I agree, I think they were just having Brock interview her to showcase his being a breeder. But it was irrelevant, he could have interviewed a grass trainer and nothing would have changed.

Oh yeah, I mixed that guy up with Suzie, the Pokemon hairstylist or whatever. LOL, I haven't seen Whirl Island for so very long...
