Where specifically in the VIRIDIAN FOREST can I catch a pikachu.

I don't know if it's just plain luck, but I and my friend seem to encounter it a lot more in the grass in the end of V. Forest (close to Pewter).

eh... just wait until u get to the power plant u can catch 50 Pika's there :D

You have to complete 7 gyms before you gain access to the Power Plant. It's kinda pointless if you want Pikachu at the start.
