Yes, it's just that Nakuraa seems to be... odd in place.

Yes, I know it's:

but that just doesn't seem to be... acceptable. When I first saw it, I thought it was:

and what I thought too was that Nakuraa seems like Scizor's claw which has fallen off and grown legs.

Has anyone else noticed anyone out-of-the-ordinary in the evo-chains? Ahum, I guess Eevee - Enekororo will be said.

So?

Have you ever thought of Octillery or Venomoth's pre-evolutions? I admit, Furaigon's first form is odd for its kind, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before.

Octillery's pre evo was the Magikarp Gyarados parallel. When I saw Remoraid I already knew it would evolve into a big sea creature...Eneko is the Eevee parallel (yes I know I've starting stating my parallels theory as FACTS, but just look at my sig!). There are alot of seed pokemon (not actual seed shapes just something small evolving into the most awkward ones, it's probably just for the whole moral thing for the anime (not judging pokemon like Magikarp).

Anyone care to explain how Kabuto evolves into Kabutops?

Some evolutions are just wierd. Leave it at that.

There's also stuff like..

Hinbasu >>> Mirokarasu
Dojotchi >>> Namazun
Paaruru >>> Hanteeru/Sakurabisu (its not that weird, but its just... >_o)

Well most of them are quite logical, really. :)

I wonder where the little hair thingies on Tatsubei's head went when it evolved into Comoruu and Boomanda, though :( And Boomanda's wings are just......................... weird.

The "hair" things form the shell on Komoruu, and then form the pattern on Boomanda's stomach.

Pokemon are monsters. They are monsters that transform. Where monsters are concerned NO transformation is truly nonsensical.

All of those pokemon share at least a handful of things in common, and plenty of things in the real world start out different. Insect larvae, tadpoles... when marsupials like kangaroos and tazmanian devils are first born, they look like maggots. I really dont think any of the evolutions mentioned are nonsensical. Gonyonyo certainly looks like it could be the BABY of Dogomu, and Kabuto certainly looks like a BABY Kabutops.

-Magikarp turns into Gyarados because of an actual legend that baby dragons disguise themselves as karp.

-Remoraid becomes octillery because remoras and octopi both have powerful suction cups. It's not supposed to be like magikarp/gyrarados because octillery actually is not gigantic and remoraid can actually fight.

-The oyster thing in r/s evolves into those two eels, which is a little absurd, but remember that according to real-world evolution theory, all life began in the sea, so a sea creature pokemon becoming a totally different sea creature isn't as far-fetched as some of other other evolutions.

-Venonat and venomoth I kinda agree on, but only because there should have been a cocoon stage in there somewhere. Venopod? :P
