#009-14 Industries

Happy New Year Everyone! Welcome to yet another thread of the Industries. This is known as the longest lasting park in the ASB. The business was originally created by Blastoise #009 and Deckbuilder14(Deck Knight now). Hence the name of the Park. The business went through a slew of Owners, Co-Owners, and other stuff. Now I'm the one in charge of this place. Here you will find all legal pokemon you can use at the ASB.

Rules and Regulations (http://www.angelfire.com/art2/virtualplay/pokestuff/00914pokepark/)

DO NOT follow the prices shown in the website right now. It will be fixed soon. The site is only used for seeing which Pokemon are found in each area. Down below are the new prices:

New Prices:
There are two different types of park balls now that are functioned to capture a certain evolution of Pokémon depending on how much you pay. If you pay the price for a park ball to catch a stage one Pokémon (eg: Ivysaur) but end up capturing a basic or baby Pokémon (eg: Bulbasaur) instead, you will be reimbursed for the extra yen you paid.

Items

The regular park balls (excluding the Hyper Ball) are specialized to capture Pokémon in special areas within the Park Lands. Choose wisely in what park ball you want to use because they will not be exchanged once you enter the park.

Types of Park Balls:

Lure Ball: For Catching Pokémon at the Great Lake
Bug Ball: For Catching Pokémon at the Bug Catching Park
Leaf Ball: For Catching Pokémon at the Tree Farm
Nature Ball: For Catching Pokémon at the Botanical Gardens
Volcano Ball: For Catching Pokémon at Mt. Deckbi
Power Ball: For Catching Pokémon at the Power Plant
Ice Ball: For Catching Pokémon at Mt. Oktori
Psy Ball: For Catching Pokémon at Valley Psyburat
Galax Ball: For Catching Pokémon in Space Colony 914

Park Ball Type A: 9¥
This pokeball can capture Pokémon with one evolution stage (eg: Girafarig), first link of a two-evolution chain (eg: Magby and Exeggcute), and the first link of a three-evolution chain (eg: Charmander)

Park Bal Type B: 29¥
Pokémon that is last link of two-evolution chain (eg: Magmar and Exeggutor) or second link of three-evolution chain (eg: Charmeleon)

Hyper Ball: 124¥
Can be used on any Pokémon. Gives a higher chance of capturing Pokémon of any stage lower than a third stage at a higher percentage of health. Only ball able to use for capture on third stage Pokémon (eg: Charizard and Politoed) in the Park.

Repellent: 10¥
When used, it can repel a Pokémon of your choice for five encounters. Example: If used on a Weedle, the Weedle will not be seen for five encounters.

Family Repellent: 17¥
When used, it can repel a whole evolution chain of a Pokémon of your choice for five encounters.
Example: If used on Weedle, Weedle and its evolutions will not be seen for five encounters.

Type Repellent: 32¥
When used, it can repel a whole type of Pokémon classified under a certain type for five encounters.
Example: If used on Bug type Pokémon, any bug Pokémon will not be seen for five encounters.

Healing: 10¥ for 20% health
This is the only item that can be purchased while in the park. Yeah, the owner made sure that’s the only item rangers would bring when they bring trainers around the Park. This can be purchased multiple times and can heal 20% health.

Permit: 16¥
This enables a single extra Pokémon to be brought into the park with the trainer per Permit purchased.

New Rules:
~ Each Pokémon brought into the park by their trainer, per visit, may only use Rest once.

~ Recover is now a banned move to use in the Park so don’t even try to use it.

Workers of the Industries

Owner:

Moltrecuno: In charge of making new topics, distributing paychecks, making sure workers and customers behave, and regular ranger duties. Btw, I do not get a paycheck if the split in profits is below 25¥ per worker. I choose to do this and the mods didn't make me.

Park Rangers:

They just do regular ranger duties like reffing and helping customers. They also help the owner in adjusting things in the park(like prices, giving suggestions, etc.)

Mock Reffing #1:

~*~Ulycrom~*~
Staryu (?): 56% confused
Umbreon (F): 72% paralyzed

Your Staryu looks around the desolate space environement, and smiles. Shaking its "head", it lets out a ray of red energy from its core. Umbreon, on the other hand, suddenly darts away, avoiding the ray of light, and strikes Staryu from behind. Angrily Staryu jumps at Umbreon, who suddenly jumps left. Staryu flies like a star, and passes right through Umbreon! Umbreon actually went right, and Umbreon slams into Staryu with great force. Staryu's jewel is damaged, but it is pissed now. A huge jet of water surges out of Staryu's top spike, and it slams into Umbreon, who crashes into the wall and slowly gets up. Umbreon howls, and his body surges with electrical energy. With a quick jump to the right and then to the left, the pumped up energy jumps out of Umbreon's body and flies towards Staryu...only to JUST miss by a hair.

Staryu (?): 46%, slightly confused, not much, angry
Umbreon (F): 67% paralyzed, pissed at missing his target

Mock Reffing #2:

~*~Moltrecuno (da ebiill boss)~*~

Charler (M): 88% Bruised and ears ringing
Houndoom (M): 88% Has a slash on muzzle

Charler angrily roars at you for calling him dense, and he...eats your hand off. You scream, but then realize that it was only your hand dandy Anti-Charler-Eatable Hand. Whee! Anyway, Charler looks around at the fiery volcanic environment, and sees the enemy Houndoom, who looks fierce and ready to...erm...how do I say it? Oh ya, kill you. Angrily Charler jumps into the air, and divebombs down to Houndoom. Houndoom roars as Charler comes nearer, and grins. Charler grabs Houndoom by his mouth, and swoops into the air. Houndoom smiles, and bites down hard on Charler's hand. Charler screams in pain, and drops Houndoom, who falls to the ground with the sickening crack of bones. Houndoom gets up slowly and spits, looking up at Charler. Suddenly, a huge ball of dark energy appears in Houndoom's mouth, and it grows in size. The dark energy swirls around, and Houndoom glares. Charler just smiles, and slowly flaps his wings. Charler, being...well...Charler, is not afraid at all, and he starts to pick at his teeth. Old Pikachu probably. Suddenly, Houndoom launches the orb, and the lounging Charler is caught off guard. Charler is jerked into the air, and then starts falling to the ground. Slowly Charler gets his focus, and just a foot below the ground Charler stops and gets his focus back. His jaw is bleeding, and he spits. Suddenly he lunges at Houndoom, and slams into him with his fist. Houndoom is slammed back, but stands his ground well. Charler goes back into the air, and floats around for a bit. And then, a huge fireball forms in Charler's mouth. Inside Houndoom's mouth a ball of white light forms. Both energies charge for a bit, and then they are launched. The white energy beam of Houndoom flies at Charler while Charler's Ultimate Blast flies at the Houndoom. Houndoom smiles, and his white beam flies right through Charler's Ultimate Blast, and keeps going. The huge fireball explodes, and Houndoom is thrown back a little, but not nearly as much as Charler. Charler is slammed into by the white beam of energy, and then the fireball explodes right in his face. After the rubble settles, all that can be seen of Charler's face is a bloody wreck.

Charler (M): 62% face completely bleeding, tired, hurting, pissed
Houndoom (M): 73% bleeding a little, slash mark on muzzle, smiling

Mock Battle #1:

Round 3
Ulycrom vs. Wild Umbreon

Staryu: Confuse Ray~Double-Edge~Water Gun
Umbreon: Screech~Faint Attack~Sand Attack

~Pre-Battle Statistics~

Staryu: 56%, confused
Umbreon: 72%, paralyzed

~Battle~

Staryu gazes at Umbreon quizzically, the slight confusion starting to make Staryu hallucinogenic. The ground beneath her (it’s a she for now) seemed to be shifting to the right, and then shifting back to the left, teetering slowly. However, the attack she was supposed to perform pierced through her mind and for a quick second her mind cleared up. She focuses as a beam of bright white light shoots towards the swaggering Umbreon.

Umbreon sees this attack charging up and instinctively howls loudly towards the hidden moon. A shrill noise breaks through the air, and Staryu cringes in pain. The ray of light, however, is already on its way and it hits Umbreon. He howls, as Staryu seems to multiply, along with her surroundings.

Staryu, “ears” ringing, tries to recall her next attack. After a quick second she begins to remember Double-Edge through her foggy mind. She looks at Umbreon and charges at him quickly, jumping up and then hitting nothing. Her charge made futile as Umbreon was about three feet away from her target.

Umbreon chuckled as he disappeared into thin air and walked carefully along the ground, his padded feet making no noise as they graced the ground. Clumsily, Umbreon falls due to his slight confusion, and then freezes up as his paralysis kicks in. Cursing himself silently in his head, he realizes that his stealth attack gone, and it would be useless to continue it now. The black-dog appears again, just a couple feet behind the star-shaped pokemon.

Finally Umbreon moves so his rear end is facing Staryu and begins to kicks up some sand from the ground, shooting it accurately towards Staryu despite his status conditions. Miraculously his confusion, although troublesome, seems to have faded for a quick second, and the muscle spasms have not yet reached his legs, so his leg movements aren't hindered by the paralysis that seems to be running through his blood. The soft dirt gets into Staryu’s eyes, ruining her vision totally.

Staryu, with burning eyes, and a slight confusion, tries to work her magic once more, calling upon her power of water. She gathers water in her top limb and shoots it towards Umbreon. The high-pressured stream of water approaches Umbreon, but, because of the impaired vision, grazes his right hind leg. Staryu, being slightly hallucinogenic still, is happy with the results, even if the Umbreon she was aiming at really wasn't an Umbreon at all. Umbreon shakes the water off of his leg, and gazes at Staryu, with eyes full of hatred.

~Post-Battle Statistics~

Staryu: 55%, ears ringing, impaired vision, confused, deeply angered
Umbreon: 68%, confused, paralyzed, panting

Mock Battle #2

Round Two
Moltrecuno vs. Wild Houndoom

Charizard: Seismic Toss~Dynamic Punch~Ultimate Blast
Houndoom: Flamethrower~Flamethrower~Bite

~Pre-Battle Statistics~

Charizard: 88%, Bruised, ears ringing
Houndoom: 88%, slash on muzzle

~Battle~

Charler immediately grabs a hold of Houndoom with its puny arms, trying to get at his back legs. After a little trouble, Charler gets a hold of the ferocious Houndoom’s backside and flies straight up into the air, wind hitting its wings. Houndoom flails his legs as he is being taken on a one-way trip to pain. Sensing the plunge that he is about to face, Houndoom yaps a couple times, showing fear in what used to be a completely confident and fear-inflicting face. Charizard spins Houndoom in circles rapidly once they are about 30 feet above the ground, and launches him toward his unlucky fate. Houndoom spirals downwards as his body impacts with the solid earth beneath them. He gets up slowly, with dirt tainting his once-perfectly clean, glimmering black coat.

Houndoom, however, regains some confidence, and uses his instincts to gather fire that is naturally produced inside his body, and store it into his mouth. His mouth, which is heat-resistant, immediately fills up with a hot flame. Houndoom spews the fire towards Charler in a spiral shape. Charler tries to dodge it, but all in vain. The fire hits his wing, as Charler tries to “flap it off.” Being a fire-type itself, the majestic Charizard is still not too phased by the burn. Charler flaps its wings a couple times to prove itself, and then begins to ready its next onslaught.

The same fires that previously occupied Houndoom's mouth gather there once more, doing an encore performance. Houndoom, obviously not learning anything from the last blast, decides to try to burn Charler again, not realizing that Charler, like himself, his part fire. And once again Houndoom fires a stream of burning hot flames towards Charler. Trying to dodge, Charler again fails, as the fire this time hits his tail, although doing hardly any damage, as there is already a dazzlingly bright flame attached to its tail, it’s main source of power. Charler charges at the dark dog with great speed as he hits Houndoom square in the nose with a hard, direct punch, causing Houndoom to become slightly confused from the quick and powerful impact. Houndoom walks around dizzily for a little while before regaining his balance.

Houndoom again charges ferociously towards the thought-to-be innocent Charler, this time preparing his jaws for a devastating bite attack. He opens his mouth wide, his white teeth glistening as the sun’s rays hit them. Charler sees this coming and, instead of using his signature move, decides to counter the attack. As Houndoom bites down on Charlers leg, he picks the dog up and hurls the now-limp body as far as possible. Houndoom gets up, slightly limping, as he licks the wounds on his black, velvety coat carefully, now greatly intimidated by the awesome power of the fire-dragon that lurks before him. Charler tries to shake off the minor bite wound and the small singes all over his aching body.

~Post-Battle Statistics~

Charizard: 74%, slightly burned, aching, bruised
Houndoom: 57%, slightly confused, confidence broken

EDIT: Is there a time we can expect to know when we'll be accepted or something?

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum! *Charler comes and takes the bottle of rum and flys off laughin* Hey, I was going to bribe Molty with that!!!! Get back here to stupid lizard!!!! Oh, bah, I guess I just have to resort to plan B, doing the reffings.

Mock Reffing #1:
Trainer: Ulycrom
He has brought in his staryu into the park and has entered Space Colony 914. He encountered an Umbreon(F). Here's the stats:

*Pre-Round Stats*
Staryu (Staryu ?): 56% confused
Umbreon (F): 72% paralyzed

*Attacks*
Staryu: Confuse Ray ~ Double Edge ~ Water Gun
Umbreon: Return ~ Mean Look ~ Swift

As the battle progresses, it seems that the starfish is at a disadvantage. But lets see if he can turn this thing around. Staryu starts off by trying to clear his mind, but is unable to. It starts spinning around, and randomly stops. It fires a milky white beam from his core, right at a parked spaceship. D'oh. Umbreon snickers, quite happy, and then utilizes those happy feelings with a powerful attack. She jumps forward, clawing and biting into Staryu's flesh rapidly and repetedly, until paralysis kicks in and freezes her. She manages to hop backwards, where she falls over in paralyzation. As it fades, she quickly gets up, seeing Staryu is in much pain and still confused, and attacks by looking at Staryu with an evil and devious face. But, being that a Staryu has no eyes, it seems to be uneffected. But it does manage to clear its mind of confusion now. It speeds towards the black dogish thing, spinning as it goes. The impact with Umbreon sends her flying backwards, with an ugly bruise on her cheek. She growls, quite angry that her beautiful face has been destroyed. In anger she opens her mouth, and rapidly shoots out many small and sharp stars at the Star pokemon. The hit it and make even more cuts and gashes in its flesh. Umbreon laughs, feeling avenged, until Staryu fires a concentrated blast of water out of her upper tip. It hits Umbreon and sends her flying back again, this time into a supply crate, headfirst. She struggles to escape, but cannot. It seems that, even though Staryu has been cut up badly, it now has a good advantage over the Eevee evolution.

*Post Round Stats*
Staryu (Staryu ?): 36% cuts all over body
Umbreon (F): 51% paralyzed, head stuck in a crate

Mock Reffing #2:
Trainer: Moltrecuno (yes me)
Has been waiting for a reffing for a while so she isn't in a very good mood. She's in the park with Charler in Mt. Deckbi. They already ran twice and have encountered a Houndoom(M). Here's the stats:

*Pre-Round Stats*
Charler (Charizard M): 88% Bruised and ears ringing
Houndoom (M): 88% Has a slash on muzzle

*Attacks*
Charler: Seismic Toss ~ Dynamicpunch ~ Ultimate Blast
Subs: Counter if physical attack used
Houndoom: Crunch ~ ~ ~

Charler: I am not dense, I just don't take orders well, I should be giving the orders around here. You go battle!! *takes a long drink of rum*

Molty: *-_- Just attack you stupid lizard.

Charler: Wha ts a li zar d? *stumbles about, and takes another drink of rum*

Molty: Great, just great.

Anyway, back to the, uh, battle thing. Houndoom looks questioningly over at Charler as he stumbles about drinking rum, and decides that he has had enough of the big lizard. He runs forward, teeth crackling with dark energy, and chomps onto Charlers arm, sinking his deeth deep into his flesh. This in turn causes Charler to drop the rum bottle, which falls to the floor and breaks. Charler glares at Houndoom (doesn't he know that you never seperate a drunk person and his drink) with the utmost hatred, as if he is possessed by some evil demon. He grabs Houndoom by the throat, flying high up into the sky. With a mighty toss he throws him flying to the ground, with so much force that Houndoom lost his grip on Charler's arm. He falls to the ground with a crushing blow, creating a nice crater in the dirt. Charler, still pissed as can be, doesn't remember his orders, and doesn't care. He wants that dog crushed! He swoops down, landing on top of Houndoom, and beating him in Rage with every appendage possible. Houndoom trys to Counterattack, but the blows keep on coming from every angle, making it far to hard to do anything but yelp in pain. After a while, he remembers his order, and thinks that may be a nice attack to destroy Houndoom. He flys up, and just as Houndoom is weakly pulling himself up, he sees Charler with a huge ball of fire in his mouth. Houndoom starts to slowly step backwards, as Charler builds his mighty attack. He blows it out, and the ball speeds towards it's target. Upon impact with the ground about 2 feet in front of Houndoom, it explodes with a violent and fiery impact, covering a huge portion of the volcano. The explosion hits Houndoom, sending him flying for about 20 feet, where he lands, chared and beat up, barely able to move. Charler is also hit by the blast, and is thrown higher in the air. As he comes crashing to the ground, he flys, saving himself from a painful impact, but is still quite Chared up. Charler glances at the fallen hound, feeling avenged. He flies down to the ground, over to where Motly is.

Charler: Hoow wasth that? Now cannn you geet me sommme more of thhath rum?!

Molty: Oh dear.....

*Post-Round Stats*
Charler (Charizard M): 62% left arm cut and bloody, bruised, chared, and drunk
Houndoom (M): 35% badly bruised all over, chared up, slash on muzzle, lying on the ground in immense pain

Charizard (Male)
Nickname: Charler
Signature Move: Ultimate Blast
Description: Charler will release a huge fireball and it explodes once it hits the ground or opponent. In other words, it explodes on impact. The explosion can take up almost half of the arena. When it explodes, it will hurt Charler if he is near the explosion so the possibility of him being hit will vary greatly. The damage will be 2-3/5 total damage done to opponent that Charler will experience(ex: if a venusaur experiences 30% damage, charler will recieve anywhere from 12 or more % damage if he's caught in the explosion). There is also 15% chance of burn on opponent.
Type: Fire | Accuracy: 80% | Damage: 25% | 15% Burn

There, that was fun. I hope I get job.

Yes people, you saw that travesty. It seems that customers, unhappy as they were with the current price, are now being forced to pay more. I know the reason. You can blame the people who set our overhead(The Mods come to mind).

I don't know what our overhead was before, but it allowed us to offer Park balls at a much lower rate.

Now, I shall disclose some of our current overheads, bear in mind, this is just overhead, WE get charged this amount for each person who catches something here.

Regular park ball: 4¥
Baby/Basic Pokemon: 15¥

Hyper Ball: 12¥
Stage 2 pokemon: 45¥

These are BRAND NEW overheads. Now, if you'll kindly notice, this means for EACH capture, we'd need to charge a MINIMUM of 20¥, to make any profit at all(to pay our workers, and such).

Now some of you clever people may notice Imp complaining that we can't pay our workers for working. Now, I'll spell it out for you.

High Prices = No Customers, No Customers = No profit, No profit = No paychecks.

Now, people were complaining about 12¥ a ball BEFORE, now our overheads have gone UP. And WHO do you think controls that, Its not Moltrecuno, and its not me, in fact, you'll be quite surprised to know the person who sets these prices is Impereon himself. FAR from wanting us to pay off our employees, He wants the buisiness to suffer and die.

I'm going to college soon for a buisiness major, and although I haven't gone yet, there are some things that just use common sense.

IF the person who set our overheads wanted the buisiness to thrive, he would have lowered them, so people could actually AFFORD it. Instead, he has jacked it up yet again, so we had to raise prices, YET AGAIN(as if people wern't complaining before)

All this is caused by Imps little "Economy war". This is because about 5(Moltrecuno and Shade are 2 that come to mind) people have more than 1000¥ in their accounts, so he wants these people to lower their accounts to 500¥ so he can lowr the prices. Meanwhile, the rest of our customers can't even AFFORD the service because SOMEONE jacked up the overhead.

Now, I mentioned Moltrecuno and Shade, isn't it interesting that these two people have suffered misfortune lately?

With Yet another Increase in Overhead, Moltrecuno is FORCED to raise prices people ALREADY complained about.

Shade recently lost his GL position due to a missed match in the GLT tourney, and apparently was "too inactive" to remain a Gym leader. Of course, the same people preaching about inactivity have not-so clean records themselves.

Now, is it just me, or do these two people seem to be targets of a plot rather than particularly unlucky with their ISP's?

Look, I'm all for overhead, its a good thing. But TOO MUCH of a good thing is a BAD thing. Especially when people are already complaining about prices.

Teresa pretty much just told you all a little white lie. Much as I would like to be optimistic about the prices dropping, The only way that will happen is if the person who sets them lowers them(AND THE CURRENT OVERHEAD PRICES ARE FRESH!!!). Currently the people in control are the Mods.

You may wonder how they set overhead prices, well, They take in the factors, debate them, and then agree on what should be done. Also known as, IT'S THEIR OPINIONS THAT DECIDE, THE PERSON WHO RUNS THE BUISINESS ISN'T EVEN INVOLVED IN THE MATTER, UNLESS THAT PERSON HAPPENS TO BE A MOD!!!

So I tell you people, I wan the prices to fall as much as you do. But bad things seem to happen to good people, and this is just another strange incident in a long line of them.

Sorry to burst your happy bubbles, people, but that is how it is, I've never been afraid to speak my mind or speak the truth, a quality SOME people find not so appealing when they'd like to hush something up.

Well, I don't want to break up the couple...so I think I shall leave them alone.

T-Tar: ?

Frank: Hmm...Start off with a Toxic :o

T-Tar: ":o"?

Frank: -_-

T-Tar: What's up with the ":o"?

Frank: -_-;;

T-Tar: I'm serious :o

Frank: ...ask yourself :o

Frank: Anyway...then use a Rock Slide.

T-Tar: Ok...

Frank: If that doesn't pin it down, use a Stomp, except stand on it, and...pin it down o_o.

T-Tar: :o

Frank: And if it tries to run away, use a Pursuit

Ok I was forced to post these things ;-;.

Mock Reffing #1

Staryu tries a Confuse Ray attack but stops since it can learn the move. Umbreon runs towards the Staryu and knocks it down with a Take down attack. Staryu spins towards the Umbreon, now, with a Double Edge attack. The impact of the attack knocks the Umbreon to the ground a little. Umbreon powers up a white beam and fires it off; it’s Hyper Beam! The Staryu is knocked back to the ground but gets up quickly and fires water towards Umbreon. Umbreon tries to deflect a little of them with a swift attack but is stopped by paralysis. Staryu seems happy enough even though there are a lot of bruises on its body…

Staryu: 32% confused for one more action
Umbreon: 57% Paralyzed

Mock Reffing #2

Charizard slowly runs over to the Houndoom and picks it up. Houndoom is flung into the air and back down to the ground. Houndoom regains balance and shoots out a Fire Blast. The fire doesn’t affect the Charizard much. Charizard raises his fist and punches at the Houndoom; it is in very much pain now, but it manages to shoot out a Flamethrower. Those flames didn’t affect much either. Houndoom sees this and gets up off the ground and runs at the Charizard. It opens up its mouth and bites down on the Charizard; Charizard answers to this with a Counter attack! The Houndoom is flung back over to its side, bruises all over its body.

Charler: 70% Bruised more; still has a little ring in its ears
Houndoom: 50% In a lot of pain

Yes people, you saw that travesty. It seems that customers, unhappy as they were with the current price, are now being forced to pay more. I know the reason. You can blame the people who set our overhead(The Mods come to mind).

I don't know what our overhead was before, but it allowed us to offer Park balls at a much lower rate.

Signed:

Previous Co-Owner of 009-14 Industries, Angry ASBer, and Park Ranger at large. (If we can get some customers in, that is).

You know what, I haven't always agreed with you Brian, but this post deffinately spoke to me, the Eggpark has overheads that brought our prices up as well.I won't disclose our overheads, because I'm too lazy to look at the PM that says them, but I don't remember there being overheads before. It all started when we were nolonger able to go to our own parks, ok, so that I may have agreed with, but then, we were allowed to again, once the overheads came around, I like that, in the fact that we personally know how the park we own/work at/whatever is run, and it is a comfort, but the overheads made it to where a brand new ASBer has no chance at either park, maybe the starting yen should be brought up to reflect the Overheads.
Wow, I think that was a good idea,lol.
Anyway, I honestly do know how frustrating it is to have to have raised prices to stay in business, and I hope this will be resolved soon.

EDIT: We lost our permits, and pokeballs when the overheads began, meaning we can't let anyone catch anything higher leveled than basic, or baby.

Sorry this took so long......

Tyrannitar lifts its leg and pounds it into the ground instantly erasing the remaining clones with the powefull tremors but it fails to prevent the Exeggcute releasing its Stun Spore cloud which Tyrannitar has no chance to avoid.

Trying to shake it off Tyrannitar breathes deeply and fires a Fireblast at its foe but is confused to see Exeggcute nowhere near where he had been aiming. Scratching his head he was unnaware that Exeggcute had used Teleport to dodge the attack.

Taking aim once more Tyrannitar uses another Fireblast and this time it hits its mark, Exeggcute screams in pain and begins to glow with a blue aura. It is attempting to use Psychic, unnaware that Tyrannitar's Dark type protects it from such attacks

I'm new to ASB and got excited about all the things that there were to do. I also started to plan my own park with Cyrus. And guess what, I heard about the overheads(That happened to be really huge), I threw it all in the thrash can. Every new thing I planned would've bankcrupted the customers. And how do they really think they can accomplish the object to lessen people's money. Like they would be using the park. This board turned into non-newbie friendly, since the only way to catch/evolve pokemon is through battles, which may last even month or two. Call that fun?! And at some point Impereon said something about the owners ripping money of newbie's who had to save money for weeks to get a ball and permit, well guess what, getting the prices even higher, how do you think we can manage to save about 40¥? Reffing a 6on6 battle? Option, yeah, but it's quite hard to find a 6vs.6 battle to ref, and the battle will end, hmm, is next year any correct time?! Especially if the DQ is 1 week and the battlers are absence or just happen to be "in-active". Getting the referee awards higher was a greatly done action, but it doesn't help abit if there isn't a battle to be reffed. 10¥ wouldn't be that high price, but 20¥+, that's abit too much for a regular park ball an unevolved pokemon, plus they need some profit from it to pay the referee's the paychecks, which happen to be nowadays quite small. So the amount would be something like, say 26¥, no way!

You promise the community to get better, all the time, but there's no actions whatsoever to stand for those words. And while "doing the community a better place to be" has just brought this board even lower, non-newbie friendly.

This is absurd comment, but why do you want to take the money from the 1000¥+ owners? I mean, they have been here for a year at least, don't you think they have deserved the money!? Is it just you wanting to get their business down, and as a excuse, you just use the: "We are trying to make this board friendly for newbies, and you can't take the money away from them!"

I see some point in those thoughts tough, but they don't overhelm the troubles this ASB board has now. I hope no one gets offended by this reply, but somethings has to be changed. And you can allways say the "what does a newbie know"

I have seen this problem in several online role playing games, mods/GMs not doing anything to the community. I hope, this doesn't happen in this ASB, as I do quite like it here.

Yup, all this overhead stuff sucks, and its because of that that I am trying out for the job here (not that I don't want to do it, I enjoyed doing park reffings when I had a park with Metal before my temporary leave, but I also need money, and any little bit helps), and reffing as well. There is no way to gain enough money for doing much of anything at parks or any business at all other than reffing, and I don't like it too much. The only way for new ASBers to get pokemon or stuff at a decent price is through the Trading Tower, and its rare to find the pokemon that you really want there.

My opinion is that the high overhead cost is going to kill of any and all business in ASB, leaving only battles to get new pokemon or evolve current ones. I mean, who wants to waste and entire reffing paycheck for a week or two on evolving one single pokemon? It definataly seems to be going downhill, which will probably cause a lot of new people and old to leave. So, what I am saying is that all these overheads are in the end going to destroy the ASB.

Unless you want that to happen, get RID OF THEM. So what if some people have enough money to catch every pokemon there is, or close to it fairly. That is no reason to make the prices to high that in order to afford a single pokemon you have to pay your reffing sallary for a couple weeks, or money that you get from 5-6 battles, and thats if you complete them, which also seems to be an increasing problem. And there is also no reason to think up methods to take all the money of the rich people. They have earned their money over a long period of time, and they deserve to keep it.

I would personally love to start my own business of a sort, one that would be unique and fun. But, it also seems to me that with the overhead costs, it would probably be 50¥ or so just to enter it, meaning that no one would even think about doing it. So I see no purpose in saving up the money needed to start the business. And that disappoints me quite a lot, as I think that a lot of people would enjoy the idea. I could be wrong, but I will probably never know.

So, there is my little rant for the day. On a side note, is there any word of when the job positions might be decided?

SneaselReborned

Yes, it seems the Metal.EXE park shall never live again. Just because of overheads.

People say, "Overheads shall fall soon!" However, I don't believe that. ASB is being sucked down a long pipe to death. Money shouldn't be so important. It should be about fun, and even if people have really strong pokemon, they are still having fun. The fact that you used to be able to get 5 capture balls at the Industries when you were a n00b and then get better pokemon was fun. The fact that working for a business gave you good money was fun. The fact that every second day you could go to the TA tower claiming you had a new pokemon was fun. Overheads are not fun. Business is pointless. As it stands, there is one business that can actually run: the breeding center. That is because even with the high prices, people continue to want to evolve and breed pokemon.

Now, this is boring. Either you breed and evolve at the center to get new pokemon, or you wait a couple of weeks or months for a battle to finish so you can evo/catch. Not fun. Sure, time is a valuable resource in ASB. But making overheads doesn't fix that. If you want people to stop having quick catches, then say you can only buy 2 balls per session. Don't make the prices huge. Really, 5-8 Yen per ball should be just fine. It doesn't matter if everybody has strong pokemon, because it will be evenly matched. Strong poke vs. strong poke = even. Weak poke vs. weak poke = even. But do you get more satisfaction by battling with a Bellsprout or by a Victreebell? A Charmander or a Charizard? An Eevee or an Espeon? Think about it, please.

On a lighter note, I'm wondering when the hiring of employees shall be done.

Moltrecuno
25th June 2003, 12:05 PM
Like the rest of you, I completely despise the overheads. Just look at the list of accounts at the ASB Bank! I'm the only one, yes only one, with an account over 1000. You would think the overheads will be shot down by now. -_-;; I don't even use yen as much(unless you count that one day in the Breeding Center X_x;; ) anymore.

Anyway, there's some stuff I'm doing right now and if I pull it off, I'll start hiring some workers. Alright? :)

Staryu [?] 56% Confused
Umbreon [F] 72% Paralyzed

Your Staryu tries and shake a bit to try and shake off the confusion. The confusion is now about at a mininum state, which allows it to use Confuse Ray and pop out confusing energy. Umbreon quickly notifies this and runs in a diagonal angle towards Staryu. Then it jumps towards Umbreon with a Double Edge attack and hits it with some good damage and bounces back from recoil.

Umbreon rolls over quickly to its feet and gets ready for more. Next, Staryu aims its top point down and shoot out a water blowing Umbreon back onto the ground, but before reaching a moderate damage state it uses Faint Attack, and invisibly moves towards Staryu until it pounces on it giving a decent amount of damage.

Charler listens to Moltrecuno and just holds up his hands acting like he never heard her. In the meanwhile he flies towards the opposing Houndoom and grabs him in swoops into the air. Houndoom doesn’t seem to like flying so he bites Charler’s hand and Charler immediately drops Houndoom. Houndoom flies towards the ground and ends with a bang. It leaves a little indentation in the ground and rolls over pretty winded from the drop. While it is still in bits of pain Charler swoops down out of the air with a Dynamic Punch ready to punch. It gives a slow hard punch and literally beats the living daylights out of poor Houndoom. It quickly runs away a bit from Charler.

Finally, Charler uses its favorite attack that nobody else knows, Ulitmate Blast. Houndoom can’t handle much more so finally uses it own Faint Attack and runs away from it, but it reappears behind Charler and bangs its right wing up, which has to hurt pretty bad.

Mock Reffing #1

Ulycrom with his Staryu

Staryu: 56% | confused
Umbreon(F): 72% | paralyzed

"Alright Staryu. Just hang in there. Try to knock yourself out of confusion and use a Confuse Ray of your own. Next use Double Edge. Finally use Water Gun. We can't get kicked out of this park that easily."

Staryu tries to knock off it's confusion, but it seems that it can't. I wonder what's it is seeing in it's mind.

Demi: "Staryu sees only hot Starmie and Staryu babes on the beach, lying beside it and putting sun lotion on it's skin"
Mindprobe: "They are genderless..."
Demi: o.O
Mindprobe: "They don't have hands"

Anyhow, getting onwards with the battle, Umbreon sees her opportunity, but yet, it can't move for some odd reason. Maybe she is too paralyzed to move. Staryu got a grip of the reality and shot towards the female Umbreon, who just saw the spinning Staryu hit it right in the forehead.

Demi: "Ouch! That must've hurt!"
Mindprobe: "You want me to hurt you too?"
Demi: "I'm ghost, you can't hurt me."
Mindprobe: *takes a flamethrower*
Demi: *sweatdrop*

But the Staryu hurt itself too i the process. Umbreon on the other hand, prepared a nasty shadow ball at Staryu. The star shaped pokemon answered with a water gun on Umbreon's face. Umbreon was now wet and very frustrated, it couldn't move her legs either, so it decided to shoot another shadow ball at Staryu.

The orange lizard's ears rang like a doorbell, after you pushed it way too many times. His eyes were going around, but finally, he could settle. Charler lunged towards the hell dog and grabbed it from his tail. The dog yelped. Houndoom released a toxic bomb on Charler. The nasty goo was on Charler's head and he didn't like that all. He started to rampage, he threw Houndoom into other side of his, then to the other, still holding his tail.

Furious, Charler threw it against the wall. Sparks flew from his hand as he hit Houndoom with a dynamic punch. Explosion rampaged the whole arena surrounding them. Houndoom was lying on the corner, but steadily got up. He threw insults on Charler, who just didn't like it.

Charler was furious at the taunting Houndoom, so he ran and "jump" slashed him. The Houndoom was not left defensless, as Charler slashed him, the big lizard was greeted by a shining force field, which absorbed half of the damage slash did to Houndoom, and then released it back double.

You travel across the deserted space colony with your trustful Houndoom, Vampyre. You slowly open a rusty door and see a female Clefairy playing with a small ball. In the other end of the hall, you see two Porygon2s hacking a computer.

Gengar's Shadow

*takes 15¥ and hands over a Leaf ball*

You step in a large farm of thick grown trees. You travel quite slowly with your male Kabutops following you. You see two Pinsirs taking a snooze under a tree. One male Pidgey was pecking on a tree, not aware your presence.

Teddiursa89

*takes the 15¥ and guides you to Mt.Oktori*

You travel across the cold mountain. Eventually, you came incross with three Poliwags stomping on the frozen lake, trying to get it break. You see a lonely, female Larvitar looking at the Poliwags. Wow! Alot happening around the lake. A male Cloyster floated above the frozen lake, towards the stomping Poliwags.

Sorry forgot about the evo thing. Won't happen again >.<;;. You continue to walk down the hallway, ignoring the other pokemon. You come across with a male Abra meditating. He might be aware of your presence. You continue to look around, and you notice a pair of female and male Gastlys circling eachother. Apperently, they are in love with eachother. Then you hear a crashing sound. You open another rusty door, and notice a male Larvitar bashing some stuff around. What will you do?

Good luck to you! You pass the gates and travel across the quite thick forest. You notice that you weren't so lucky afterall, at least at the start. You notice a female Caterpie and a male Weedle trying to bind eachother into strings. You look up, high into the tree and jump from joy. You notice a female Heracross sipping the juices inside the tree. Your eyes continue to run down the ground, you notice a male Venonat hiding in the bushes. What now?

Alrighty Vampyre, begin by trapping one of the Porygon with your Fire Spin. Once it's trapped, aim Fire Blast into the inferno.

If he changes element to Flying or Psychic or Fighting to stop Reversl, then use Crunch

However, if the Porygon's health get 20% of below after the first Reversal or if I used Crunch and that did 40% damage (which I doubt), then I'll use Spite and toss the Galax Ball instead.

Reversal/Crunch ~ Reversal/Crunch/Spite ~ Spite/Galax Ball

And also, I had three runs.. if I ran away from the Porygon and Cleffa, then I would have to get booted out.. plus, I couldn't resist the Porygon *glares it it, but grins* He is tough..and ebil... a perfect future member (hopefully)

Also... WHERE ARE YOU ULTIMATE CHARIZARD?!?!?!

Btw, I will hire Mindprobe as of now. Congrats.

I'm still looking over the other reffings and the activeness of the other people in the ASB(btw thats the other factor I put in when choosing). I'm just getting tired of hiring people then seeing them suddenly disappearing on me.

Blade summons a rain to help him in the battle. The water is Kabutop's natural element, so he was kinda happy to cool off. Heracross lunged down on Blade, using his mighty horn, he managed to brake Blade's hard armoration also. Blade pushed Heracross of off him and slashed him hard in his horn. Heracross retaliated by stomping the ground hard, creating an earthquake that ripped through the ground. Kabutops saw himself in danger, but not in time, he did a blizzard attack thorugh, which make Heracross's movements rather, slow. Heracross thrashed into tree and broke the ice off of him. The tree was about to fall down, but it remained straight.

Still, his body temperature was low, and he wasn't as fast as he could be. Nidoran launched a quick ice beam on the poor Dragonair, who really didn't enjoy. The sun did melt the ice quickly. Disharmony continued the fire assaults and nidoran continued with another ice beam. Disharmony burnt Nidoran quite badly in the third flamethrower. Blade proceeded by slamming on Heracross, forcing him down and under him. Heracross used strength to throw Blade off of him. While Heracross got up, Blade charged a golden beam of energy and unleashed it on Heracross. The beam made Heracross fly with it and into a tree. The tree started to wobble quite dangerously, it might come down any time soon. Heracross was flinched slightly from the attack, but eventually managed to sprey a toxic poison on Blade. The venoms went inside the hard shell and started to terrorisize Blade from inside. Blade ignored it, it'll take some time before the poison will fully affect him. He shot a freezing beam on Heracross. The beam froze Heracross on the tree and forced Heracross to call out the sun to melt the ice away.

Some Qualifications:

~ Is very active

~ Will expect themself to still be in the ASB up to 5-6 months in the future *keeps on getting workers who stay for only two months...* *sigh*

~ Knows what they're doing

If you think you qualify, create a mock reffing in this topic and I'll pick and choose after there are at least 8 applicants. The mock reffing can be of your own creation but have the health of both pokemon lower than 100% and with one pokemon with at least one status effect.

Since when has it been the banks power to cease businesses? On another note, this sounds very fishy, and you know why? It was the overheads that killed the business in the first place, that and Prodigy's price monopoly on pokemon getting. You can't beat his prices, and I'm certain the fact he is friends with you and Charizard04621 has nothing to do with it.

I believe this would be a job for the business head, and, much as I dislike wishful thinking, I'd say you aren't there yet, we'll wait for the votes.

This is a moderator sanctioned action in response to the lack action on the part of the business owners to the new rule in the bank, the rule itself was moderator sanctioned.

To your implications that Prodigy’s prices are unfairly better than yours due to some action I or Charizard04621 have taken is ludicrous. Ignoring the fact that the last person to alter the overheads of any business was Impereon, the break down of pricing between the both parks and the breeding center are the same. All three charge 15¥ for a basic. The variation in prices beyond that is due to how the different business owners set prices. If you would like an explanation of what caused the failure of this business, PM me or contact me on AIM.

I have no, nor did I ever have, any expectation of become the head of businesses.

Taken from Progigy's shop:

Evolve one first-stage Pokémon to last stage of two-stage chain or second stage of three-stage chain: ¥25

Evolve one second-stage Pokémon to third and final stage of three-stage chain: ¥90

And here:

Hyper Ball: 160¥
Can be used on any Pokémon. Gives a higher chance of capturing Pokémon of any stage lower than a third stage at a higher percentage of health. Only ball able to use for capture on third stage Pokémon (eg: Charizard and Politoed) in the Park.

Park Ball: 40¥
Pokémon that is last link of two-evolution chain (eg: Magmar and Exeggutor) or second link of three-evolution chain (eg: Charmeleon)

Park Ball: 15¥
This pokeball can capture Pokémon with one evolution stage (eg: Girafarig), first link of a two-evolution chain (eg: Magby and Exeggcute), and the first link of a three-evolution chain (eg: Charmander)

Now, I'm a frugal shopper, would I rather spend 160 to get a chance at a 3 stage evolution, or spend 115 to get my first stage to a final. Tough choice. A 45 difference.

Also, would I rather spend 40 on a chance to get a 2nd form, or spend 25 to evolve. Once again, there is no choice, a 15 difference.

Yes, Impereon may have set ridiculous overheads, however, fact is, he's been gone, and somebody needs to do something about it. I know the overheads for the business, and needless to say, we can't lower our Hyper Ball anymore, as our overhead is 158 on it. We make a lousy 2 off anyone who buys one, and off our regular balls, we make a 5 profit. In short, we better find out who the business head is soon, cause this mess needs fixing. Now, unless Prodigy is selling at cost, he's definetely got lower overheads than us, and he has the most successful business in ASB. Someone has to fix this, and this someone should be known, the votes went in before Friday, it is now Sunday, who will be our champion?

It is very simple, the mods make all the decisions about *anything*, even if they know nothing about it. Imp has been gone, and somebody, whether elected or otherwise, needs to fix the mess up. Since the Mods have a monopoly on power, they should have fixed it long ago, or at least hired someone to fix it for them, hopefully our new business head, whomever they may be, can sort out this mess.

In your price break down your ignore the cost of acquiring the basic to evolve. To acquire a second stage pokemon is 40 yen at your business, or 40 yen to breed for the basic and then evolve at the PPPP. Any difference in costs is due to how each business prices their goods. I will not provide specifics, while you may be willing to throw around other people's private information in public I am not.

By your own statement the business head has already be hired, what is the point of complaining about it?

Dark Dragonite
7th December 2003, 01:24 PM
The other unfair thing is, as I posted in the business Tower, We need to slowly integrate Ru/Sa pokes in our pokemon catching businesses, it's a monopoly that the only sure fire way to get Ru/Sa pokemon without waiting for a match to end is to breed at the pokemon procreation business. The 30yen for a 30% chance at an egg with a Ru/Sa pokemon obviously wasn't enough to attract customers, and meanwhile businesses are dying, like this one, and Firestorm98's.

Cyrus
7th December 2003, 01:30 PM
Dark Dragonite, you have a point. I don't know why the limitation was placed on the parks. And while I will agree that the parks inability to sell R/S pokemon has hindered their viability as a business, the inactivty of the business owners has contributed.

But this isn't the proper place to hold such a discussion. The business tower or the rules tower would be more appropriate.

Because unless we get a business head that isn't in the pocket of the mods, nothing will change.

Here is a stupid question, in the REAL world, people are allowed to see a businesses net income and expenses, assets, overheads, etc. So why should it be a problem to view that information here? Or would you all rather NOT know the tyranny that goes on? Fact is, overheads on an item should CHANGE per business. PPPP by its very nature should have higher overheads, because they do not have to account for balls, etc, etc.

The debate over overhead costs should be held in the business tower or the rules tower.

Overheads are kept private at the discresion of the business owner. Seeing as how Charizard04621 is posting her overheads constantly in the bank I will use them here as an example of the 'tyranny' that goes on. She pays 10 yen to breed a pokemon. 20 for the first evolution. Compared to the net costs for you, those are the same for catching a basic and a stage 1.

SPAMming up Moltrecuno's business is unnecessary. This discussion shouldn't even be held here.

DarkDragonite: You're right. ASHarris wanted people to catch their RS pokémon at the start, but I think we've gone way past that. We really need to integrate RS pokémon into the Parks as soon as possible. I'll talk to her about it as soon as I see her. I'll make sure it gets done. If I don't see her in a couple of days, I'll go ahead and work RS pokémon into the parks anyway.

Deck Knight: The overheads for the parks and dragon684's business are definitely going to fall. I am waiting on ASHarris to announce the new Business Head so we can get going. I have had this discussion before in private. The PPPPP guarantees pokémon eggs/evolutions, unlike parks. Although the overhead prices for all businesses amount to exactly the same thing if you do the proper math, parks should get slightly lower overhead prices simply because of the uncertainty principle. The PPPPP's overheads are going to stay the same, while the park overheads should fall a little.

No more arguments. Moltrecuno's business is clogged up enough. We don't need to screw it up even more.

10+20 = 30(1st Stage)+8(Basic)+4 (2 balls)... No. 30 does not equal 42, try again. In fact 30 does not equal 30+2+time it takes to get the pokemon. By a long shot.

Um, Deck Knight, Moltrecuno's ¥30 overhead is on pokémon that have evolved once. Second stage pokémon. First stage pokémon have a ¥2 overhead on the ball and ¥8 on the pokémon. Not to prolong the argument, but I figured that needed clarification. I have a copy of Moltrecuno's overheads. I believe you made a little mistake in reading them.

Also, I don't think Moltrecuno has to make a monthly payment. (The PPPPP has to pay ¥30 per month, regardless of how much it makes, so if there was a sudden dry spell it could lose money.) Like the PPPPP, Moltrecuno's business gets a cut to her profits, sure, but she hasn't been made to suffer a ¥30 per month overhead in times of no income.

I have already mentioned that overhead prices for the Parks need to fall as soon as possible, anyway. In fact, soon after ASHarris announces the new Head Business Approver. When she comes back on on the weekdays, of course.

Frank:

Porygon: 40%(Damage Caps + Toxic), Now Rock Type, toxiced.
Ttar: 71% paralyzed.

Tyranitar uses an Ice beam on its cybernetic victim, and Porygon feels some shock, but retaliates with Thunderbolt, zapping Tyrantar.

Tyranitar uses another Ice beam, further weakening the intoxicated enemy, Porygon uses Double-Edge to take a swipe at Tyranitar.

Feeling the sharp pain of the toxins insie it, Porygon seems deeply pained. Frank throws a Galax ball at the weakened opponent.

*robble, robble, robble... DING!* Frank caught Porygon!

Porygon: caught
Tyranitar: 56% paralyzed.

Tyranitar then uses Dragonbreath in an attempt to freeze Porygon's systems. The attempt fails, but Porygon uses a Third Ice beam. Porygon then feels the Toxins in its body.

All right. I've PMed you your new overheads. The prices for the pokémon have fallen, especially that nasty third evolution one. Anyway, one more important thing:

If you want to sell RS pokémon, please post (in the Business Tower) an outline of which of them can be found in which zones in your park. Once the outline is approved, you will be free to market RS pokémon. Thanks.

How much exactly does a ref get as a paycheck?

Pokemasterfrank: I swear I'm going to shoot you if you don't finish your captures here! Its been so long since you last posted here dangit. >_<;

The Muffin Man: The average pay of refs varies depending on how much business is in the park. I usually pay all the workers once a month unless the business is doing really bad. If that happens, it may take a while for me to give out paychecks. I'll most likely pay about 20¥ a month to each worker. I know that isn't much but its hard to make a profit nowadays. Sometimes if the business is doing really really bad, I would take money from my account to pay the workers since a majority of my yen comes from the Industries' profits and not my reffing paychecks.

OzAndrew: You find a Smoochum (F). Oh and there are some Machoke taking a nap behind some of the boulders. So... don't mess with them unless you want to get killed.

Ok then, huzzah :) Hi Smoochum!

First off I'm going to Compliment Smoochum

Then I'm going to use Tell them about ASB
And finish off with asking it to join my team :)

If it attacks me, Electabuzz, use protect and strike back with a thunderwave!

~~~
You approach Smoochum and start to give her compliments on how cute she looked. Smoochum looks at you and turns her head sideways out of curiousity. You then talk to Smoochum for about fifteen minutes about the ASB.
Charler: Can we just get on to having Smoochum's butt whooped. -_-'
*smacks Charler* I think its nice that Oz is trying to bond with Smoochum before battling. ^_^
Charler: -_-'
You finally ask Smoochum to join your team. Smoochum becomes frightened and blasts you with an Ice Beam from the waist down. Uh... well... now you're just chillin' out. ^_^' Electabuzz is sent out and uses a Thunderwave on Smoochum before she tries something else. The Machoke nearby hear Smoochum's cry and are now heading in your direction. Uh... fun?
Now what?
!~=Stats=~!
Smoochum: 100% prz
Electabuzz: 100% fine
A group of five Machoke is heading your way.
Ok OzBuzz, grab Smoochum and teleport out of there! We'll take the tiny Smoochum with us!
Once we finish teleporting, use a fire punch on its head and finally I'll tell it I can make this stop if you join me :)
Evil Smoochum! YOU WILL BE CAUGHT, EVOLVED, TARTED UP And turned into a BUTCH JYNX! Scariest Jynx in ALL Of ASB.
OzBuzz quickly grabs Smoochum and teleports himself, Smoochum, and you to another area of Mt. Oktori. Oh yeah and I ended up having my Alakazam teleport me to where you guys are. You guys reappear and before OzBuzz could throw a punch, Smoochum gives OzBuzz a Sweet Kiss. OzBuzz drops Smoochum and staggers around in confusion. Smoochum quickly gets up and doesn't look very happy. She starts to sing a sweet soothing melody.
Uh... *puts on earmuffs*
OzBuzz starts to yawn and he falls into dreamland. Or goes to sleep. Whichever you prefer.
OzBuzz: 100% slp
Smoochum: 100% prz
Now what?
Oh, I'm sorry about my PM box being full. If you have a mock reffing, just post it here if you can't PM me. My comp is slow and takes me an hour or so just to delete the whole lot of PMs I have since 2001. >_>;;
OzAndrew
Sorry for not making a presentable reffing. I'm doing a reffing GS-B
OzBuzz uses Sleep Talk!
OzBuzz uses Thunderpunch!
Smoochum deals 15% Damage!
Smoochum uses Sleep Talk!
Smoochum uses Nightmare!
OzBuzz is having bad dreams!
OzBuzz is unable to attack!
Smoochum uses Sleep Talk!
Smoochum uses Ice Beam!
OzBuzz Evades! (ya know... don't ask me how... *shrug*)
OzBuzz uses Sleep Talk!
OzBuzz uses Meditate!
OzBuzz becomes focused!
OzBuzz at 100% slp!
Smoochum at 85% slp!
Note: If you're making a mock reffing, do not EVER use that format of reffing I used above. I only use this once in a blue moon(in other words, VERY rarely). Questions? Uh... e-mail me at Moltrecuno@hotmail.com if you can't PM me.
Andrew
Ok, OzBuzz, continue to Sleep Talk. When you awaken, slam down a couple of fire punches down on its head. K :)
The Muffin Man
18th February 2004, 10:30 AM
Ozbuzz accepts his orders, and yawns loudly, standing up and using all the psychic energy he can muster to set up a Barrier in front of himself. Smoochum, just waking up from a nap, doesn't see the barrier as she charges in for Body Slam and WHAM - Is rudely awakened by the wall...
Ozbuzz, jarred awake by the barrier being struck, opens his eyes, yawning again, and pummels his opponent with flaming fists, who can only attempt to concentrate, but can't seem to with the flaming punches.
Finally, as OzBuzz comes in for another punch, she takes the fiery blow and the powerful fist, and begins to bawl. Ozbuzz feels like a jerk, now, and sulks.
OzBuzz - 100%, feels like a bully.
Smoochum - 60%, singed, sniffling a bit, but smiling evily.
Okay, here is my mock reffing.
Trainer: Genericman
Area: Power Plant
Items: 1 Power Ball
Your Pokemon: A-Grav-9 the female Graveler at 65% health
Attacks: Mega Punch, Rock Slide, Tackle
Opponent(s): Voltorb (genderless) at 79% health, badly poisoned
Other: Faint zapping noises are being heard as a pack of Magneton, numbering 4, nears.
A-Grav-9 launches a Mega Punch at her opponent, who is struck hard. Voltorb responds by firing a Sonic Boom, which also hits its mark. A-Grav-9, who looks really ticked right now, retaliates by throwing rocks at the small Pokemon. Although some might call it childish, the rocks strike Voltorb and it recoils. It starts rolling at a very high speed, running into Graveler and barely phasing it. Graveler then Tackles Voltorb hard enough to stop it from Rolling Out, and Voltorb finishes by also Tackling. The Magneton are getting nearer.
Your Pokemon: A-Grav-9 the female Graveler at 56% health
Opponent(s): Voltorb (genderless) at 56% health, badly poisoned
Magneton x4 (genderless) at 100% health each, approaching rapidly
What do you do?
Also, in response to the criteria you posed, I believe I fulfill them. I am on mostly every day (Pokemaster Matt can vouch), and yeah. There.
But if its about to faint, don't touch it.
OzBuzz - 100%, feels like a bully.
Smoochum - 60%, singed, sniffling a bit, but smiling evily.
Smoochum giggles as OzBuzz grumbles at his trainer. Buzz hears it and turns around, immediately met by a blast of ice to the face. Buzz no longer feels like a bully, but is now angry. He charges forward, delivering three quick firey punches to Smochum's head. Smoochum reels, nearly unconcious. She gets off one last Icy Wind before falling to one knee.
Ozbuzz- 89%, Happy, cold
Smoochum- 2%, Weak, head singed
What will you do?
Sorry about the wait, I thought TMM would do this.
