wow, really nice effects! love the shading and lighting, how do you DO that? o.o; although I can't quite figure out what's what in that pic o_0 it's all rearanged and shtuff! meh, I don't care, it looks super-duper-wooper cool (o0? lol uhhh I'm just weird today. today? always! LAAA! ^_^) lessee... there's half a dragon head.... a bunch of arms with claws sticking out of the ground, and 2 gold balls, one of which appears to be cracked? wow, mysterious! guess I'd just need to read the book to understand, eh? :)

The dragon is called the Dark Lord-he's the bad guy.

In this scene he is waiting the "hatching" of a creature he has thought up. To make it, he asked those claws sticking out of the ground, or "dragon trees", to mix the DNA of various creatures he had collected to make his weapon Black Moon. The dragon trees are an advanced race that have the ability to make healthy life from even the smallest amount of substance, and can give it any gift they want. They are telepathic but live on that barren planet all alone.

~If you look carefully, both golden orbs have tiny creatures inside them. ^^ The cracked one has Black Moon, my dragon/griffin/darken hybrid. He's super cool!

The little white and blue thing is Black Moon as a baby. He doesn't turn black until later.
