Besides that, not all of the hiragana/katakana characters are properly represented in the text. If you can read Japanese, or at least recognise kana, then you would have no problem because you would know the features of them, BUT if you can't recognise Japanese characters at all, you may be "led to believe" that one kana is written one way because of the way it appears in the text in the game, and not be able to recognise it when you see it written by someone or in a dictionary, etc.
