I was just wondering if everybody else can get on cuz i can't. I can connect to the other servers, just not the media driven one.

I believe the server is having maintenence because they are upgrading to cr 2. They are also under attack as well, so which one of them is causing the problem I don't know.

I just hope they get done soon, because being on the internet isn't that great without IRC.

According to Y2J/TTS the server should be back up in about 2 hours, possibly more. They had an attack, and didn't want to bring the server back up until they upgraded, so....That's about all.

Upgrades were supposedly completed hours ago, but the server isnt up yet. I think a temporary channel topic I set on another server explains this perfectly.

24 hours = 1.5 years+, 12 hours = 20 hours+, 20 minutes = ????

This is like the "RSBot will be complete within a few weeks" topic in RSarena.

At the rate its going, RSBot will be finished before Mediadriven is back up O_o

If you just let it reconnect... it might get connected about 20-50 reconnects. I tried it myself, but it gets so darn frustrating that I just said "Forget it!"

RSBot is back up, but it's devoid of move/trait/stat data O_o

EDIT: Fanha reloaded the data, so it's all good now. :)

Right now someone has been packeting the server, so keep trying to connect, and you should get through if you keep trying. It should be fine once you get on, too.

As for RSBot, here's the details of what is NOT completed and why...

The following moves:
DISABLE
COUNTER
MIMIC
METRONOME
MIRROR MOVE
SPITE
SLEEP TALK
ENCORE
PURSUIT
MIRROR COAT
FUTURE SIGHT
BEAT UP
FAKE OUT
NATURE POWER
ASSIST
MAGIC COAT
SNATCH
DOOM DESIRE
TOTAL MOVES LEFT: 18/354

Most of these are due to testing on how "last move" works when it involves Metronome/Mirror Move/etc.
Also Beat Up's damage formula is very irregular, appearing to change base damage based on the number of Pokemon in your party.
Also, I have to compile a list of moves that don't work with things like Metronome/Mirror Coat/etc.

Meowth still won't hook me up with the CH formula, which I can't really determine on my own.

Other than that, I just need the #'s on how much Soul Dew raises Latios/Latias stats, and the OHKO accuracy formula, as well as confirmation on other accuracy modifiers...I think that's about it...anyhow, I'm working as I can, but the bot is very very close to completion. The few weeks was accurate, but I decided to hold off releasing it in beta until I got all the moves done.

soul dew = latias 150% special attack, latios 150% special defense...

I believe that rs uses the same ch formula as gsc

I've gotten both those done now.

Question: Has anyone here played the 4-player versus mode? Does it allow all 4 players to take a team of 6 Pokemon or what? And what about when you use Beat Up or Heal Bell; do those affect just your own team or your partner's too. These are things I can't really test on my own.

Beat up is a dark move that bases its base power on how many pokemon that have not fainted on your team. it counts 10 bp per pokemon..

Heal bell only affects the pokemon on your team.
