Cobalt(blue) and Platnium (silver). In the near future, there are releasing Jet (black) and Fire (red).

What is with that game? It looks cooler than the regular ones.

I hate Nintendo now. They release one system. You buy it. A month later a cooler color of it comes out. Dang you Nintendo.

Thanks guys, for answering my cousin's question.

Yeah, so officially the only colors currently out in the USA for the GBA SP's are:

Cobalt Edition - Already Out
Platinum Edition - Already Out
Onyx Edition - Released in September 2003
Flame Edition - Released in September 2003

The latter two will be released in September, the former two are already out, and those are all so far.

Well, mods you can close.

There's also a pearl white edition of it. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance comes with it, and it's currently out in Japan. Whether it will ever be released elsewhere is unknown, but unlikely.

Sometimes its good to wait. Since I'm getting Onyx, it'll match with my Gamecube. :D

They do look cool - I'm afraid I won't be getting it since I don't even own a Gameboy advance. That's scary lol

It might be just me, but I think Nintendo didn't give much of a break between GBA and GBA SP to be released. Maybe a few years would have done it?

The realease of the SP was for some milestone. Birthday of the GBA in Japan? 10 million systems sold? The SP does stand for Special.

Well I don't care, I'm still annoyed with them. I got my GBA last Christmas, then GBA SP comes out like 3 months later.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but there's also an orange SP in Japan.. named after some pokemon, I think it was Torchic or something. o_o But yeah, Nintendo usually releases a new system, waits a few months, and come out with some new kickass colors for it. Ah well, that's business for you. :>

I'm getting the Torchic one, because Torchic is my favorite starter in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire.

I was thinking about gettin the GBA SP. I'll probably get the tealish one that was shown on here. Maybe by the time FF comes out for GBA I'll have one. Right now I have a normal GBA...
