Poll: OMG! Starfruit pwns!

What is your favorite fruit? Mine is starfruit, I just tasted it at the free sample stand at the food store 4 hours ago, I thought I wouldn't like it but I did so I took 2 more when the worker wasn't at the stand (I feel so guilty lol) then I asked my mum to buy one. It tastes like 20% Lemon and 60% Apple and 20% other good stuff and when you cut it it looks like a star :D! Now my top 3 fav. fruits are:

1. Starfruit
2. Kiwifruit
3. Strawberries

Bottom line is: Starfruit pwns. Try it, it is good stuff.

Um.. Canalope is good :}. That is like the best kind of fruit there is >_>. Strawberries are good too =>. And another favourite fruit will have to be grapes.. So yeah. They are sweet and stuff and they are good. So what's not to like about them? :}

Have you treid Honeydew it is better. It is that shapeless white-green ball with green flesh. Good stuff I personally think it is better that cantalope :yes: but at the store I go to it costs $1.50 more than cantalope and my mum is so cheap she doesn't buy any good stuff :no:. I hope I can get more starfruit though :yes: .

Raspberries are my favorite cause you can eat them up really quickly and they're so sweet and tasty :D. Cherries are good tasting too, but it's annoying to take out the pit every single time. And Bananas taste good, they're good for you too. Counters all the sodium that could give you high blood pressure :o.

Eh...I am an old school kind of guy... I like a lot of different types of juice but most fruits don't have the right textures for me to actually enjoy eating their flesh.

Actually, Barunson, 'kiwi' is a term that by definition refers to not only any bird of the genus Apteryx (from New Zealand) but also the woody Chinese vine, Actinidia chinensis, as well as the fruit it produces. One informal definition of the word is New Zealander....lol.

Here's an interesting piece of trivia: The kiwifruit, when arriving in New Zealand, was originally called the Chinese Gooseberry. Then, some person in New Zealand realized that the fuzz on a kiwi is like the feathers on the kiwi bird, hence the name.

This is a poll I haven't seen in a fair while. Since the last time I've answered to this one, my tastes has changed, wheeeeeee! Yeah, hehe, here are my top 5 fruits atm: :)

1) Strawberries
2) Peaches
3) Grapes (green)
4) Oranges
5) Apples (green)


I love strawberries because they just taste so sweet and you can eat practically all of them without having to peel anything or take anything off (apart from the little green bit). This is also why I like peaches and grapes. Oranges come next because they're really nice, except you've to peel them and for me that takes ages and in 5th place comes apples because although you don't have to peel them, they don't taste as good as the other 4 ^_^!

1. Strawberries - they just taste nice, and no pips.
2. Cherries - In my opinion they actually taste better than strawberries, but pips are annoying.
3. Grapes (White, seedless) The taste (guess what), and they're nice and juicy.

You night have noticed these in all my favourite fruits: Seedless, small, no peeling required. I don't know why.

Close call: Apples - More filling, taste nice and you don't absolutely have to peel them

Hmm, oddly enough not one person has mentioned my favourite fruit: PASSIONFRUIT! Delicious and nutrious! Coming in close second would be grapefruit followed by strawberries.

Speaking of useless trivia, a fruit, by definition, is anything with a seed. This includes pumpkin, what people believe to be a vegetable.

1: Cantalope I looove that stuff. It's really juicy and well I could eat lots of it.
2: Water melon. I just like it a lot to, great taste. No need for a drink of water!
3: Apples, I don't mind the skin on them and some types are quite good.

Wow! Barely anyone likes Mango, or Guayaba. Mango is like, the bleetest fruit around! XD Same with Guayaba. Maybe it's just that California is one of the few states that get Guayabas. o.O

Well, I must say, I have to agree. Starfruit is the greatest fruit ever. My top three favourites are:
